Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe in Lexington

I had the Lamb Feast. Meat was overcooked and the salad was lacking. What really surprised me was when the lady that took my order answered the phone when I was ordering. Told them she will call them back, hung up and started to text them back as I am paying.

I have a one hour lunch. I have come here before for my lunch break. I told my family about how great this place is. We met up promptly at 12:10pm. It took a tremendous amount of time to receive service and it ended up making me late for work.

Tattooed girl from the stuff is gorgeous!! As a Eastern Europe guy i love the food here, should open a new location in Tyson’s or Merrifield, Virginia, a lot of businesses and town centers here, i think it would be a hit! Since i cannot put another review i have to edit this one, was served with dirty plate. Deserve one star but since i like food 2 stars

Place was nice and open,we sat in the back room where the heat was great. Staff was very friendly and food was good. The only issue we had was that we came for the lamb. The way the lamb was prepared (grilledover powered the flavor of the lamb. My wife and I would of thought it to be beef , except we new what we ordered and at the very back of the pallet you could get a faint taste of the lamb. Also the cooking method lent to a tough piece of meat. Over all it was good , but not good enough to warrant a return.

Loved the lamb gyro and the fresh fruit side! Fast service and yummy food.

First impressions do not allude to the amazing quality of food. In casual eavesdropping it was observed that they were short staffed on a Friday night. Did not effect the service on bit. Will be back!

loved it. i have ordered grilled veg gyro perfect combination of spices and juices. otherwise here in USA almost everything is bland. Also try greek vegetable gyro and tomato basil soup with red potatoes as a side. they close early at 9pm thats the only part did not like it. warm and nice sitting area too

Really impressed for my first time eating here. Food is healthy and colorful. Only knock is its a little pricey for the portions. Tastes really good though. If you are looking for a place to splurge a little, I would recommend this place.

We had a gift card so we decided to order carry out. When we arrived they overcharged us and then they could not figure out how to use the gift card. We were in a hurry so we ended up paying the higher amount in cash so we still have a gift card to a place we would rather not eat at again. The food was ok but nothing special.

Worst service ever waited over an hour for my order avoid at all cost!!!!!! Ok thought I would give them another chance WORST MISTAKE I MADE SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE THIS TIME!!!!!! THEY WERE OUT OF LAMB AND BEEF AND GUESS WHAT ANOTHER HOUR WAIT!!!! AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MY ORDER I WAS RUDELY TOLD ITLL BE READY WHEN ITS READY!!!!! ITS A SHAME THIS PLACE COULD REALLY BE A GOOD PLACE TO EAT.

Joy and her catering team were hands down the best catering team that I have worked with to date! They catered a wedding on 10/5 and they showed up prepared and ready to go. They went above and beyond what any normal team would do and were such a pleasure to work with. Not to mention they provided the tastiest food that anyone could ask for. If you are looking for catering for your next event I highly recommend Joy and her team at Tazikis !

They were very busy. I called my order in and arrived, paid my bill and waited 40 minutes before I went back to the counter to see if my order was ready. They had lost my order so I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to fix my food. My wife and I eat at your restaurant frequently. We spend 30 to $50 on each occasion.

Excellent food. Great service. Will definitely make this a monthly stop for family night.

Amazing Mediterranean food!

I modified my original 3 star rating to 2....hummus is tasty and I like the crispy chips but too small dip portion; I have half of my chips left when dip gone. Also this is twice now I got brown wilted lettuce in a dry no dressing Mediterranean salad. Also the topping was just not so tasty and done in an amateur way.

Excellent twist on a quick service restaurant with the Greek dining experience and flavor. We make a point to dine here every time were in the Hamburg area at lunch.

Very slow when making the food and the employees werent really knowledgeable about their own menu. It made the process of ordering food very frustrating. Additionaly, they included bacon on a sandwich that doesnt have bacon so I had to throw it away.

GREAT food made as regular, gluten free, and vegetarian dishes satisfied all. Very happy with flavors and healthy sides.

We love the food at Double Dogs. Their chicken fingers are amazing. If you are eating there, weve never had an issue, but if you place a to-go order, double check it. We run about a 50% accuracy rate on take out. Food is awesome though, its just frustrating to get home with the wrong food.

Mehh. Not that impressed. I ordered the grilled chicken kabobs with rice. Chicken was decent, a bit chewy, which should not be the case for grilled chicken. The rice was horrible. It was like baby rice, s ultra thin and not well cooked, not to mention completely bland.I paid$3 for an extra kabob, which meant three pieces of chicken, so overpriced for the amount.Also the wait time was closer to 10 minutes +/-. Waited whole others after me were served. No bueno.Lastly, their chocolate cake is pointless. Its just called that is brown with frosting. If you like chocolate, dont bother with this lie.Good news is I didnt get sick.Meh.

The food is fresh. The staff is extremely friendly. Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots in Lexington

I personally always get the Grilled beef tender gyro, with the cucumber and tomato salad, the pasta salad is great. Ive had the rice too and its really good too. They offer Woodchuck hard cider, which I dont find around Lexington very often. Its got a good atmosphere. They offer seating in the patio area seating. Ive always enjoyed going there and eating.

I love a good lamb gyro and this place definitely delivers on such. The lamb is not the traditional sliced lamb, but instead it is a grilled variant. Delicious product that was fresh and made to order. To top it off, the manager was walking around and giving out free chocolate cake. Who doesnt love a good cake.

Not overly impressed. No compelling reason to return. Though it was a nice building with lots of parking near Hamburg shopping and I-75. Food was less impressive. I had the Mediterranean Salad with chicken. It was small in comparison to many better salads Ive had a other restaurants in the southeast, dressing was scarce and not that great. My guest ordered the recommended Signature Pasta but was less than enthused about what was received; lots of chilled penne with a light sauce, small amount of greens and a little chicken. Facilities nice and clean food just ok.

The pork tenderloin feast was excellent as usual. Great food, really friendly service and very reasonable prices. Another neighborhood treasure.

Food was wonderful! The owner let us stay and chat even after closing. He went way beyond expectations.

Disappointing. My Greek salad contained no olives or feta despite being listed on the menu as having both and the portions were small (we ended up going elsewhere afterwards to have more food to supplement our lunch...). Staff and atmosphere were both nice though.

The food was good, but even if it wasnt, Id come back here to eat. The staff was awesome. They were super cool, and very nice to the kiddos.

This was our first visit to the Lexington store. We jad the gyro bar. For $5 we got to stuff a gyro with beef or chicken, with all the condiments desired and two sides. Great value and very filling. And...today i found a Tazikis in Louisville.

Consistently amazing, sleek sexy atmosphere, super clean, fresh food, & cold beer! Get here fast, it will be your fav...5+ Modern restaurant w open kitchen specializing in Mediterranean cousine. Fresh, healthy food that is delicious. I have tried many different items and I love them all! Fast, friendly, and affordable w wine & beer options. The list of local craft beers alone is worth a stop! The catering menu is diverse and delicious. My personal favs are the lamb gyro, chicken gyro, Greek salad, and spanakopita. Do not forget to order the lemon potatoes! They do a great job catering events of all sizes. I have had their food at two separate events and it is always consistently good!

The staff was awesome from hello. Very knowledgeable and eager to help in any way. Great direction from the manager, Jeff I believe. The food was excellent. Great portions and reasonably priced. Oh, and as fresh as fresh can be! Will definitely be going back a lot more.

Always spotlessly clean with great service and wonderful food. I love the fresh and healthy options that are available. They offered Gyros wrapped in lettuce if you are looking for a low-carb option. You can get anything from a gyro to a salad a soup, fish other meats and terrific pasta dishes. I have visited both locations in Lexington Kentucky and both were great.

Always a wonderful experience. Have enjoyed everything there. My favorites are definitely Tuesdays pork sandwich special and then the menus tomato basil pesto sandwich!

Amazing food with a super friendly staff! Very authentic and everything tastes so fresh! I went here around lunch time and didnt have to wait very long! Staff was helpful & informative when it came to questions! Will definitely be back!I recommend the Spicy Pimento Cheese Appetizer and the Grilled Chicken Pesto Basil Gyro!!!!

Stopped in here while traveling through Lexington and we are glad we did. The food was great (be sure and try the spicy pimento cheeseand the service couldnt have been more friendly. I had the grilled lamb gyro and my wife had the grilled chicken pesto wrap. Both were excellent and the lamb in mine was very tasty. We will happily stop in again next time we are travelling through!

The atmosphere is nice, great tasting and quality food, and staff is very nice and eager to help and recommend things. They also offered a taste test of a sauce for my father who had never been there before. We really enjoyed our experience. Would definitely recommend.

The food is fresh and has lots of flavor. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great place to have nice meal. And the dinner for 4 is super cheap we fed a family of 4 for under 40.

It is not closed on the weekend! My family ate here for $21 and it was not burgers! When I called up here to see if the restaurant was open Malike the cashier was so enthusiastic that I just had to come. Tony the manager and his team run a great restaurant. They were really knowledgeable about special diets, and the food was great. I will definitely be back!

Clean, new, comfortable place. And to me, that to me is very important! The food was amazing! So exotic and unique. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Definitely planning to make this a regular restaurant.

So disappointing! We were told there was no need to check our order for accuracy because they had already checked it, but the first box I opened was wrong. They fixed that meal, but unfortunately I didnt open our dolmades until we got home. Each order is supposed to come with three (according to the menuand only came with two. They ended up being so oversalted that they were barely edible; you could see a thick layer of salt covering the leaves. All of the other food was very bland. This place is definitely way over priced for the quality and amount of food that you get.

Building is new and very nice. The people are very nice. The food is disappointingly bland and overpriced for what you receive. Despite the small portion size, we didnt eat half of what we ordered because it was so tasteless. $30 down the drain and we still have to go somewhere else to eat lunch. First and last visit. Do not recommend.
