A secret gem in Morocco and may it stay so. I am 42 years old from Fez, but I have only discovered this place a few months ago. I did a drive through the park, which took nearly two hours. Roads are small and windy, but you are rewarded with unspoilt breathtaking scenery. Ideally, you need to stop for walks to really enjoy it, but even a drive through is quite enjoyable. There is a point at the top where you will see two peaks opposite, one on the left and another on the right, that view was the highlight for me.There are no shops in the area, very few cars and people, and and you will rarely drive at over 30 miles, so pack a good picnic and enjoy total tranquility in Morocco!

The parc itself is beautiful. We went there for a hike. We did not find any hiking trail Mal, but you can just stop at the road and walk to the mountains. We found local paths we could take. Just stroll around and you will eventually find great hiking paths!

Weve visited the NP in January and it was a wonderful experience. Even just driving through it was wonderful, with the scenery changing at every bend: waterfalls, cedar forests, pines, blossoming almond trees and a few small villages.The park is well kept and clean (to Moroccan standardswith a couple of secure sites for camping. We will definitely come back to cycle and hike more here.There are no gas stations in the park and off-season no restaurants/cafes either. Make sure to bring food and that your tank is filled up.
