Taytay Falls - Water park in Lucban, Philippines
Nice place ,very cold place
Enchanting.
One of we call act of God
the water is very cold but it is soooo beautiful!!
The place would have been a haven for nature lovers but it turned out a disappointment. No signages around, we relied on Waze to find it. Upon arrival, there is a registration table that will ask you to register at least one name and pay up P50 entrance fee per person. Then when you get to the parking place, people are busy getting the P100 parking fee. Nothing is given in return as proof. Still no signages, we had to ask where is the way to the falls. There is a “gate” in the corner of the mini market and stores in the area. There they will get the stub you were given for the entrance fee. The trek to the falls is a bit long, more of like a kilometer walk but it was a cemented trail so it made the trip easier. The only thing we noticed was that certain portions of the track is prone to landslides and it is evident with soul erosion present. When we got to the place, it was jampacked. You pick the spot good enough for you. Everyone is everywhere, eating, drinking and even washing their used oliy plates in the water when people farther down the running river swim unknowingly. They bring with them chips and alcohol but were very disrespectful of rules. They leave their trash where they were. One was even literally taking a bath - using soap in the water. We only stayed for a couple of hours and left. No one told you to travel light, the trek is not fun with big bags in tow. Don’t expect a decent bath after, the comfort rooms and shower areas are either closed or very dirty. No safety measures around, ropes for easy access as the boulders were slippery with moss. Honestly, the DENR. signage that says it protects the place is but a mere scam. Too bad I didn’t take pictures. The pile of empty mineral water bottles completely tell a very sad story. I’m not saying don’t go, the beauty of the falls is still there but as sure as we were standing there we know it’ll be spoilt soon.
This is very good place for relaxing. Rejuvenating. Very fresh, cool, and clean running water. Tatay Falls in Majayjay, Laguna. There are three accesses to go there thru Majayjay, Laguna or Luisiana, Laguna or Lucban, Quezon. Come and feel the wponderful nature water falls there.
Its a great place. The overlooking was nice. Youre going to take a little walk through a very nice forest overlooking which will help you to relax your mind. Id been here many times and I keep coming back. The water is very cold. So if youre looking for a place to cool down, visit this place.
Important Tip:Bottled (glassbeverages are prohibited in the vicinity. Transfer all your liquids to plastic bottles before you plan to enter the premises.
The water ia very Clear and Cold! AMAZING Experience!
Amazing amazing amazing!!! On our way to Lucban Quezon, we decided to stop here and check out TayTay Falls. Pricing was super cheap (PhP20/person, PhP50 for parking). The area was filled with tons of greenery. It was well kept and very clean. There were people servicing the pathway to the actual waterfall, cleaning and sweeping. There was a separate comfort room. The actual waterfall was everything. Clear waters, and lots of places to set up your belongings while we took a deep plunge! We were extremely glad we decided to stop and check out this beauty. We would recommend to anyone that happens to have this on their way to their destination.
So fresh
amazing for camping. water is cold. too cold.not enough dressing rooms though
Is very nice place for family outing a quite and pleasant environment for nature lover a cold water a beautiful water falls and view that nature created.
The falls is so cold
The coldest waters Ive ever put myself into!
Amazing place so refreshing
Excellent! One of the best place for relaxation with its refreshing ice cold water!
the water is so cold i want to go there again i just recommend to stay safe beacuse the rocks are dangerous watch your steps
Get your hot heads ready for a plunge in the clear and freezing water from Banahaw mountain. I would recommend you to visit during weekdays as locals and nearby town folks usually take a day out on this beautiful nature park on weekends. Camping and lodging is also available. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The falls is beautiful and the water is very cold.
Love it
It was a nice place to dip and relax but unfortunately, we went here during holidays so the place was so overcrowded. There is literally no place to enjoy swimming as there is another person within arms reach.
Entrance fee is 20 pesos .parking fee of 50 pesos for van and car. 20 minutes walk to the falls.
Gosh the water is ice cold and so refreshing. My kids loved the view and really enjoyed the place!
The TayTay falls is a short drive from Manila and it was relatively free with less people around. The place is very nicely managed and water is crystal clear just was too cold the time we went. You need to park the car and it’s a small walk down the trail to the falls. We rented out a tent which the guys there help to set up. It was a pretty good experience to stay right on fall trail and the we had good time with just the lights we had as there is no electricity. Plan to bring the food and items to cook as there is not much options to buy, there is one small shop near car park but don’t remember much items being available. It was pretty much raining the whole night but it was a fun experience cooking and dining out in rain.
Perfect for swimming
The water is superbly crystal clear and is really really cold. Please go here during off peak months and avoid holidays. We went here the second time only to disappoint us with tons of people swarming to dip and experience the cold water. It was not a pleasant experience.
Really Clean water and beautiful.
Clean and well maintained.
Great place for relaxing and adventures..
you want detail review? very well.... first the place is SO FAR from the main terminal so if you are going there by foot and just using public transportation at least go there before 5pm strikes the clock because there are time trips for public transpo like from sta cruz-majayjay &vice versa: 7am-9am and the next trip will be 4pm-5pm. so i sigguest suggest to go there VERY early in the morning to enjoy and have enough time to have fun at the falls. there are rooms and tent to be rented if you want to stay overnight, the room starts at 800pesos and the tent is about 250pesos. the locals are quite friendly BUT not all of them are because there are some locals like the man at thr brgy hall is very sarcastic and very annoying as well as the man in the terminal. well if you only be going there for the falls and to appreciate nature i recommend this falls and it is better to go there with you OWN car. the environmental fee is 20pesos and 30pesos if overnight.the fare price is not constant especially in trycicle because they take advantage of tourists that doesnt know the place and they make them pay high fare than the standard, because i repeat the locals are NOT that honest and NOT that friendly also . not ALL but there are some you will encounter. but hey, at least the falls is outstanding.
Its nice here, if u are a nature lover & want to see a beautifull falls and swim to a cold water. Be there, u will enjoy ot.
I love the place and the locals are very friendly.
Cheap way to beat the summer heat. You can enjoy nature as it is located at the middle of the jungle. Remember to pay the fee at the barangay hall before proceeding to the entrance.
The best spot for summer, water temperature is almost freezing as it is fresh from mount Banahaw. From the parking area you need to walk more or less 10 minutes. There is always a lot of people enjoying the fun. You do not need to be worried because it has a crew securing the safetiness of every visitors.
The water is so clear
Dont visit on weekends coz its crowded. I like the cold water here and the amazing view of the falls.
Its a great place, it takes 10 to 15 mins walk into the falls, you can stay overnight just bring your tent w/you..
You need to pay the 20 pesos environmental fee then proceed to the parking lot. There is a parking lot fee of 50 pesos. It was easy to get to the falls as there is a paved walkway. I was told that there was a hanging bridge but you dont need to cross it to get to the falls, it was just added attraction. The water is cold as heck. As I always say dont visit during the weekend, its too crowded and noisy.
there is a 20 pesos environmental fee before entering the path to taytay falls. the walk to taytay falls is 5 to 10 minutes walk. the walk to taytay falls is easy because the pathways are paved, it feels like walking on a sidewalk. after walking, you will arrive at taytay falls. there is a public cr, not that maintained but the water from the restroom is coming from bukal (fallsthe water is so cold that is why do not swim immediately, rest for a while and dip your feet into the water, until your whole body is dipped into the water. at first , it is very cold, but when you are into the water already, you will not want to stop swimming anymore because it is very relaxing in the water is very fresh and clear. i saw a spot there where there is like a natural jacuzzi ( see my picture). there are tents available for rent and 24 hours there is a ranger in the falls
Great for people who are looking a great getaway and experience nature at its finest.
Its very cold there and it was great.
I wouldnt recommend this place for overnight stay if youre going to just sleep in tents.
You can do a day or overnight trip by setting up tents. Bring malongs so its easier to change clothes.Take a deep breathe before jumping in the ice cold water.Claygo please!
This is a great quick destination for a weekend, although I wouldnt recommend an overnight stay because there are limited spots to pitch a tent. The water from the falls is ice-cold and refreshing. The falls is not that high but the water is kept clear by its flowing source. Just be careful when you take your first plunge because the water is really cold and, the big rocks and boulders under the pool are slippery, as well. My friends and I just dropped by for a quick dip and it was worth it!(+Rest rooms(+Parking lot (Php50)(+Environmental fee (Php20 per person)(+Restaurant - BBQ and Carinderia(+Convenient store(+Souvenir shops(+Lodges
Cold water that makes u alive!!! Its very relaxing place to go with your love one <3
Been here four times and I keep coming back. Going there again this weekend. Water is very cold even at this climate. Can get a bit overcrowded at lunch time. Best to go there around 8am on the weekends.
The water from the falls is cold as ice, you can dip in your bottled drinks to cool them.
Natures gift 👍
A good place to have your refreshing dip in the ice cold water of the falls. The water is also surprisingly clean (and very clear). A lot of garbage in the area surrounding the falls though.
