The food took too long to come. Many of the items on the menu were unavailable. The ambience felt dead and the lighting was poor. Sorry, but I didnt like my first experience at Tayiba.😞

Poor customer service, you have to wait so long for drinks. I think you need to train more waiters and waitresses to help deliver and give customers your best.

We went there after we left the botanical gardens...we got there around 4:30 we waited for our food for almost 3 hours... even the drinks took two hours...instead of them to put it in a tray she was serving one by one...we got fed up and went to management they gave us a long story...we didn’t even touch most of the food we just paid and left

I enjoyed the food but came out to find we have been roobed in our car ,they took a lot of money and other valuable items

Drinks are quite expensive (double the normal price). But have a nice view sipping some sobolo.

My first time there and I loved it. Ambience was good, good food, very affordable.

A nice place to be. I was there in the evening and i enjoyed it. Our server was soo friendly and jovial. She added to the experience and all smiles. Only problem was at the time we got there, khebab was short. So we settled on grilled chicken. And it was goood. Id recommend it

Food & drinks are quite pricey, so I expected a higher value - especially with the food, but I was highly disappointed with the results I got (for chicken wings and yam chips)Tiniest wings I’ve ever seen (extremely dry tooand didn’t look appetising or taste very fresh.For the price (40 cedis- it was very disappointing.I went there again another day however, and I was more pleased.I ordered sausage khebab (8 cedisand it was great. I noticed it came from a different kitchen altogether.P.S,This place is suitable for family outing.

Nice rustic setting, but do not have lots of the items on their menu. Poor service in terms of time, delivery and information to patrons. You might have to order about an hour in advance. Not a good place to have a quick lunch break from work, you will certainly be delayed

More of a natural experience, good, food. But mostly dont have majority of the items they put on their menu. Mosquito are too much most time. At least you could use one of those electronic insect killer

Tayiba is located just adjacent the legon botanical gardens.A beautiful restuarant with an african setting.. wooden chairs..colorful painting...cool place to cool off after a long dayFood here is okay.I really love thier yam chips with goat.The wait here is not bad...food is served within 25 to 15mins..And the staff are really polite.

A very good restaurant and bar. Nice, neat and cosy environment to wine and dine. Its very spacious too. They have local and continental dishes. The price is slightly on the high side but I think its ok. My 2nd visit to this place. A recommended place to visit.

After visiting the legon botanical gardens, its your last stop by to eat great food

Generally have had very good service and food till yesterday. Fish that was not properly cleaned ends up in my plate and the staff beg me to forgive them because they need to keep their jobs. Management needs to find more creative ways of empowering staff to promote good customer service. Still got great food and service!

Our waitress seemed tired and uninterested in what she was doing. A limited availability of non alcoholic beverages meant we did not get our choice of refreshments.

If I could put zero stars I would. The service was absolutely terrible. We got there and ordered our food. I ordered white rice and chicken stew. Our waitress said fried rice and chicken stew and I said no, white rice and chicken stew. Also our food didn’t come out altogether. It took almost 2 hours for our food to come out and once my food came, it was white rice and chicken soup. I said clearly that I wanted white rice and chicken stew, so by that time we were fed up and just wanted to take the food to go. So I told our waitress give me the white rice and chicken soup to go. Once I got home I realized I only had chicken soup and no white rice. Very disappointed in the customer service especially cause we paid for everything.

Serene environment, TWO THOUSAND PERCENT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!I barely share experiences or reviews on the public space unless asked personally. However, I cannot hide my utter dismay at the chagrin one particular waitress displayed on visit with family.A waitress that doesn’t smile, offers the scantiest of menus and literally tells you to hurry up in choosing from the menu! How is this hospitality?Plus she refuses to give that which you choose and says “we don’t have any more” only to see another waiter serve a different table with this same item. Oh and we were charged for this same item that doesn’t exist.Efforts to get the management’s attention to this so far looks futile.I say again, Serene environment, two thousand percent poor customer service!!!

This is one of the worst places in Ghana. Their food is okay but the atmosphere is worst of all time. No Fan, and the place is very hot. When this concern was brought before the management, she said, "you are not the first person to complain"

Went with 17ppl and waited 2hours for the food, and when we got the receipt they charged us 80 extra cedis due to miscommunications of the waitresses and had to have a long discussion and eventually we paid what we had but it was very energy consuming and our following schedules were all mixed up and some of them had to be cancelled.

I instructed the waiter to parcel two plates of food in a take away pack because we were in a hurry to somewhere. But they rather parcelled one pack of a left over for me. I saw it only when l got home. I have void to deal with that lady the next time l pass by. It was nasty experience and UK brother who was visiting the place for the first time was not impressed at all at all for the services for that one and half hour hour stint.

Beautiful setting but unfortunately that’s as good as it gets. The food is edible, just, and staff are the worst.There’s one particular waiter/supervisor, short guy with an afro, who is the sourest individual I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality industry.None of them smile or engage you and mumble at you totally uninterested. Every time I’ve been there the staff look like they’ve just been woken up.The venue must have been stunning when it first opened, but there’s been little to no maintenance, the building looks very shabby.I hope the owners/mangers read this and take on the constructive criticism because they are sitting on a huge money maker which, will never reach its full potential because of their unmotivated and uninterested staff who would better serve as paid mourners or undertakers.

I didnt get what I wanted thus Heineken n pizza but ordered for a drink. I enjoyed the live band but would have had a wonderful night if any if de waitress had smiled

Good food, chilled drinks, nice reception, serene environment.. Live band on weekends and kizomba dance nights on Tuesdays.. Very good place to ease your stress

I used to love this place and after 3 years, I was there last week and it was disappointing. The service was poor, the atmosphere was poorly lit and the waiter continued to serve me on the dirty table, the juice was mostly water, and the food was meh. I was saddened at how the value of this place had reduced. We were all sharing one very worn out menu and one waiter as it seemed. I really hope they pick things up cos I did like this place a lot.

The scenery from the deck was beautiful. The trading hours was incorrectly recorded on Google Maps and had to amend it before we left the place. It looks like a nice place to hang with a group of people. We were a bit disappointed with our order for food and drinks. Upon arrival, I ordered Gordon’s London Dry Gin and club tonic and the waiter (Brightgave me an assurances that indeed they do have Gordon’s London Dry Gin only to disappoint me later when he came with only the club tonic water and two slices of lemon in a highball glass. My companion and I ordered goat light soup and light tilapia soup with banku, respectively. Strangely both bowls of soup tasted the same with an exception of the added animal factor. As a result, my companion did not enjoy their food. I found the location of the washroom problematic. They are located on the deck level and the facility had a tilted thatched roof so it’s going to be a challenge for a person greater than my height (1.75 mto urinate there. Finally, we found that getting an Uber or Taxify even a local taxi was very easy as the place located on the busy Haatso Atomic road.

I honestly think that the customer service here is bad. While eating, I requested for some water but I didnt get it. After eating, I took a walk for about fifteen minutes. When I I came back, my table wasnt cleared. And I never got my water after that. But apart from that👍

Great location next to the Botanical Gardens. Food takes a while but is worth the wait. Could use a few touch ups here and there to bring it back up to speed. Good place for family outings and group meetings

Great location and atmosphere but disappointing on so many levels. Dont go if you want a quick bite after visiting the Park with your kids! Better place to come and just chill, order some simple food while you are not too hungry....

First of all, they take too long to bring the good. Secondly the food is expensive but very small. They really need to improve their services. I am giving one star because there is no zero star.

I had a very nice grilled chicken and yam chips with my friends. The order took very long time for us to be served. The waitress was very polite but very slow with her service provision.

Great location if you are visiting Legon Botanical Gardens, and interesting building. However terrible service as others have noted - no excuse, it wasnt busy. Our waiter didnt seem to know what the daily specials were, or care. Our food took over an hour to arrive, with the two dishes arriving 15 minutes apart, delivered with no apology for the delay. Food was OK, nothing special and very expensive. Sorry Tayiba, you need to improve your service and train your waiting staff. There are plenty of other restaurants in Accra that do this very well, we wont be back.

Pro: The food was good when it eventually arrived.Con: Took about 2 hours for my group to receive our orders. Dont know if they were overwhelmed because it was a holiday and the restaurant was full. If youre there alone, youll probably get fed up and leave
