I enjoyed visiting this cave. Its a nice stop to break up the journey to (or fromMagpoponko. Its like a mini canyoning experience, very short though. You pass through a water filled passage/cave with bats and end up in a natural pool where you can do some jumping. Its a bit expensive for what its worth (100 peso entrance fee plus tip to the guide), but I enjoyed it.

If you are into caves with water then this is for you. Care and patience are required when you go down into the caves as it can be slippery. There are few safeguards, especially inside the cave as you rely on the guides instructions. Sometimes its too dark, and the water was very cold and murky. When we got to the end of the trail there wasnt much to see.

For 150php per person, I thought it was a good price, since you have a guide taking you through as well. The water depth was low when we went so I guess it might have been more enjoyable. The highlight was the pool across the road - the swing and jumps were better than maasin river as no one was really around. Would recommend to do in Siargao just to see something different 🙂 easy to get to via scooter.

Saw what looked like oily substance coming out of the cave, decided not to go in. The hill beside the cave has a lookout and spectacular view of the surrounding mangrove forest and tributaries.

150 for both the pool and cave seems very expensive. Its just a small cave, and it was high tide during our time so the water is quite muddy. I think the guide felt our disappointment and invited us to swim through the mangrove river on the side of the cave. That made it more interesting. The cave pool is also a small one and could get very crowded. But the cool water is a nice treat after the river swim.

A "MUST TO GO" Place... eventhough shot while but its worth it!The signboard says P100 for Cave & Pool BUT.. BUT...BUT... the lady incharge asking for P150 instead... I wonder why...hmm🤔

Awful experience here. Paid PHP50 for entrance. They said its big, but actually its not. The most ridiculous part is you are not allowed to swim freely, because they divided the place into three areas, where each area has own owner respectively. No one guiding you as well.

Great place! Impressive cave (though might be a bit scary sometimes due to the water which is up to your chest and the random rocks which you dont feel under your feet from time to timeand exciting pool (where you can jump and have fun). The pictures in the pool would be really good, but if you prepare the waterprofe case only. We didnt think about it in advance, so I terribly regret that we have no photos from inside as a reminder...

The guides might not be knowledgeable, yet making it a fun experience. Climbing in the dark through waist-deep water was thrilling, but bringing a headlight would be wise.(cave)Interesting rock formations around clean freshwater (pool)150 peso/per for two entrance

Cold fresh and salt waters under the cave. This is too deep. For P50 you can try to swim inside the cave with free life vest usage. Very helpful child guide.

Get ready to walk in the water under the dark.Flip flop/ reef shoes, Waterproof camera and bag are needed. Water gets deep at some point until my (I am 160waist. I didn’t experience the pool though, not sure which part I missed out along the way. It’s up to you to pay tips to the guide apart from entry fee.

Very good experience. And cheap as all the sights in Philippines. I recommend to come with cash and Underwater camera. Keep your flip flops, you’ll be full of water since the beginning.

Very beautiful. Great location. Make sure that you take a waterproof camera. The boats they take you on are very small. The crews are very capable of getting you in-and-out of the boats....

Before you go to the pool, you have to pass under the cave which has a bit a risk issue.. Yes they provide helmets for each person - 6 persons can only go at a time. But they only provide 2 headlight for the guest, one for the first person and one for the last person (i volunteered as the last man-feeling brave hahaha). The cave pool was very nice and spring water is cold - instagramable especially the top view.. entrance is 100pesos plus 100pesos for the guide.. our guide was Pau-pau.

Its a nice cave to explore and the water is a little bit deep so I suggest you bring a waterproof bag if you want to bring your phones/ things with you. And the water inside the cave is salt water. Theres a deep part at the end of the cave where you can jump if you want to.

Cool cave to explore away from the heat above ground. You’ll need a guide, helmets, and to join up with a group. Just make sure you don’t get overcharged from the ladies at the top. They seem to miscommunication with each other about how much things cost.Nothing really photogenic (it’s dark inside toountil you get to the outer area. You can jump off some rocks there and take some pictures.

An amazing experience in a dark cave with many sharp edges and make shift rope. The water is refreshingly cold. It is fairly underdeveloped but that means more fun. Make sure you do the big jump at the end!

One of the best cave experiences ive had in asia. 250 pesos for a couple. you need to be a little bit athletic to complete the cave you go in a small entrance and take about 20 minutes to navigate your way through the cave you are in waist or chest deepwater uneven terrain. . Holding on to a rope in most areas as you head towards the pool.definitely worth a stop if you are driving by getting somewhere else the whole thing only takes 30 minutes if you push it. Recommended water shoes and a dry bag or leave your stuff locked in the scooter seat.they will give you a guide and he will have a light and navigate you through the cave.

Definitely a must if you are not claustrophobic and looking for adventure. Make sure you wear wetable and tight foot wear (do not do it with flip flops or bare foot). The end of the cave its a unexpected surprise. Locals running the cave are charming.

It was a great experience to be able to do caving here. We went here during lowtide. If you go here, be in your swimming attire and bring your gadgets in their waterproof cases or bags. You will need to pay for a tour guide and they will give you instructions to follow. Crystal clear water! You can see some fishes which means the water is really clean. A very good place to swim. :)

Tayangban Cave is 30-min vehicular ride from General Luna. In and out of the cave is about 20-30 minutes. Water is from knee deep to 10ft deep. There are some ropes to guide you along the way. At the exit, there is a small pool deep enough for cliff jumping. Be careful and be vigilant for this cave is connected to Paghungawan Marsh, where the authorities released a bunch of saltwater crocodiles. Do a search on google. If I knew this before my trip in Siargao, I wouldnt go and swim in this cave. Eerie!

Let us in without telling us it was near closing time, so at the end we were just marched past the pool and to the exit. When we asked if we could have 5 minutes to actually swim in it, guide said no. A bit of a rip-off and to be honest this didnt even feel like a cool little adventure walk. It was boring. Oversold!

Quite a nice thing to do on a hot day! For 60 Pesos pP you can enter the cave, but you do need a guide (for 100 Pesosas well. You walk through hips to chest deep water so basically cant bring anything there except your swimsuit and maybe a water resistant camera - you can leave your bag with the staff though!Inside the cave its really dark and the guide leads you with a torch. A risk of injury is given so take care! Not sure if its suitable for small children. Inside youll see birds at the ceiling and sometimes fish in the water! As you leave, you come to the pool at the exit where you can jump in from a rock - do that! :)Overall a basic, fun and beautiful experience which Id recommend.

Very beautifulYou start with a quick and easy guide though a cave in waste high water. (Not too challenging and the guide has a flashlight). After approximately 15 minutes you exit the cave to a beautiful and peaceful pool of crystal clear water you can float around in or climb up and jump in to.

It was very scary because you have to swim in the dirty water through the dark cave. Need at least a life vest jacket. Most of the people wanted to come back after the entrance, in the end it costs 70php + 100php of the guide for nothing. In spite of this the personnel are very polite

The tour guides are respectful and I have to commend their professionalism when it comes to tourists. They know the ins and outs of the cave itself thus making it feel like youre learning about the history of the place. This is a must-go location whenever you visit Siargao.

I was scared the moment we stepped inside the cave. The weather wasn’t good the previous day so water was muddy when we visited. The rocks were slippery and no protective gear provided. I tried it for the sake of experience but definitely not doing it again 😳
