Have been coming here since it opened. Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere and attentive, professional and personable staff.We love coming here as the food is consistent and the entire team treats us like family.We are grateful for such wonderful customer service and always tell others to come to Oakvilles best kept secret !!Dont miss out!!

I liked food, it was good a little bit on the higher side in terms of price. The manager is a bit odd, was rude and didnt apologized for something he said. The waitress was nice and we had a good overall experience.

Had work lunch , ordered Vegetarian Panini which tasted good with fries on side . Also comes with unlimited salad and Soup . White bean tuscan soup wasn’t the greatest but ok and salad was good . Had peachy mocktail as they had no mint for mojito . But overall ok and amazing ambiance

Dined here a few weeks ago. We didnt have reservations, and while it was busy on a Saturday night, they were able to seat us within a few minutes which was amazing. The service here is pretty excellent. They do a great job of clearing the table of plates and when youre finished. Wine selection was also reasonable. Priced a little higher than two money signs (Googlein my opinion, and having come from Toronto, I was a little surprised. Its a large place and wonderfully decorated, and the ambient music was pretty cool. Now to the food! It was good, not great. We did wait nearly an hour for our main course, but that did give us time to catch up with our friends. I had the 12oz steak and it was pretty good, but didnt really knock it out of the park with flavour or texture. Sometimes you order your mains and the combination of flavours rocks your world, and other times it feels like it was just thrown together. This was the latter. Wed consider going here again, but I will say there are other more affordable places that would deliver the same experience, and similarly priced ones that would deliver not good food, but great food.

This is the first impression : Awesome & romantic Ambience to dine :food was excellent.We had cauliflower fritters and margarita pizza, they tasted so good. Would love to go back sometime soon :)The staff was very friendly. They even offered dessert as the pizza took time :D so sweet. Their freshly home made Tiramisu is a must try.. :)

An unlikely spot for a wonderful Italian restaurant. Specialize in pizza, but it has a very large menu with some excellent items, plus 4 or 5 daily features. A very popular resto with a very convivial crowd of patrons. Great ambiance.I have always enjoyed my meals there.

Went here for a Christmas party. Salmon was dry and not tasty. Food tasted like going to east side Marios except a much higher price tag and with out the anti pasta apps. The red wine served the night was excellent which is probably why this place didnt get a 2 star.

For starters: wow. The food at Tavolo was absolutely divine. We had a large group, so our order consisted of one of the "Family style" options, where you select from different antipasto platters, appetizers, salads, pasta, pizza, and of course, dessert. Im not going to bother listing everything we ate (there were no real complaints), but best in show was probably the crispy zucchini, followed by the zeppole for dessert. The pastas had a great sauce (both red/meat and cream/veg), and the pizzas were delicious. We sat in the semi-secluded dining room (the rest of the dining area is adjacent to the open kitchen), and the staff were very courteous and helpful.Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant, and would visit again.

We hosted our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Tavolo and it was beyond amazing! The staff was extremely helpful from booking the space to answering my many questions prior to our visit. They provided us with exceptional service, food and drinks, our whole group was blown away by the experience. We had the family style dinner and it could not have been better. The pizza, pasta and antipasto was so delicious! It was the perfect kick-off to our wedding celebrations the next day. They made us feel so special and even sent care packages home with us that we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again Tavolo, we will definitely visit you again!

Visited the restaurant for the first time last week, and the experience was not as great as expected. The atmosphere is very nice, great lighting and loud environment so it’s nice for birthday dinners, date night, casual dinner, and etc. The food is where it really lacks and I feel like this place tries too hard to be an upscale Italian restaurant when it really isn’t. I’ve been to many upscale restaurants in Toronto that are around the similar price range and their food was actually good. My seafood risotto had squid that was undercooked and raw, so the dish was sent back and I was given a ‘new’ one. I received the dish back with almost no seafood, with maybe tiny tiny pieces of shrimp and squids that looked to be chopped up and a couple mussels. Server said I’d be getting a new one but I could tell that it was just the same food with the seafood picked off. The risotto itself was so bland and not tasty at all — if you want to charge people $30 for a dish, you better expect a sufficient amount of seafood and risotto that’s actually seasoned well. The server provided good customer service and offered us free dessert for the inconvenience which was a thoughtful gesture given that the quality of food wasn’t his fault. However he said to us to get our orders in quick because there was a group of 15 people coming in which I did not see — it’s quite unprofessional to rush customers just because there is another big group coming, we are just as much of a customer as they are. I will not be returning back as this restaurant is not able to deliver the quality food compared to how the restaurant is portrayed and for that kind of money, I would much rather go somewhere else.

Im not a fan of Italian food to begin with - however thats not the reason for my lack lustre review. Ive had good Italian food - this however falls short. The restaurant is gorgeous, of course. Ive been a few times as a few friends and family like it or have wanted to try it, so I feel like Ive tried quite a few things. Id never say my meals are bad... just never great. It always feels like its missing something, a great flavour, you hope to find in great Italian food.

Went for dinner with friends on a Monday evening. Service was great, food was excellent. I ordered the Mushroom & Bacon Spaghetti and it was delicious! The place was pretty much full by 7 pm which is pretty good for a Monday night (pictures were from 6 pm when I first arrived!)

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. From the location you wouldnt think it was much but the atmosphere once you walk in and the smell of the food was to die for! Very moody with great lighting. Seats are spacious so youre not sitting too close to the next tables. Service was fantastic. Food came out quickly and tasted amazing. The Mushroom and Bacon Spaghetti and the Bolognese sauce were all amazing...oh and the donut desert was heavenly!!! We will absolutely be back!

I had excellent experiences when I went to this restaurant with my family. Great atmosphere and friendly service staff. The decoration is remarkably interesting. The food have brought me good feelings and I love it!

Went for dinner here with my friend for the 1st time & it was fantastic! Service was excellent, atmosphere beautiful & food was delicious! We cant wait to go back!

Unfortunately they dont know how to cut a birthday cake nor serve it, and they still force you to pay a tip for a large group , extremely disappointment with the service

Wonderful and attentive wait staff. All 4 of our dishes were exceptional. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. It was my first time here and I cant wait to go back !

The service at this restaurant definately deserves 5 stars. Sadly the food was not up to par and probably would not go back however the service was the best i have had in a long time. The management team rectified the situation beyond my expectations. Service staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hopefully they can improve the quality of the food.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. The Pizza is one of the best. Thin crust , hot right out of the oven. Meat lovers pizza was so tasty. Definitely you shouldnt miss it. Better make a reservation specially on Friday night and the weekends. Enjoy !

A phenomenal dining experience!From cocktails to apps to entreés, this place has it all covered. Heck, even the table bread was great. The focaccia bread was out of this world!Not to mention the atmosphere. It plays nicely with casual and cool, but also can serve to be an “upscale” restaurant too.Bringing anyone here for a party, a date, and business meeting, you won’t be disappointment!My server Andrea also did a great job, and remembered me from when I went once three months ago. It’s small things like that that will keep me coming back again.... and I definitely will be!!!

Enjoyed a birthday dinner with friends.First time visiting this establishment.It’s very tastefully decorated, very sophisticated and elegant.There was a lot of activity.Our waiter was quirky and humours, he offered us options for drinks but didn’t really provide us with many samples so wine selection was based upon the two samples.Our food was scrumptious. Mouthwatering!We had a great time and definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in checking it out.

Went here on a Wednesday for my birthday with my girlfriend. The place was quiet, not too busy and had a nice ambiance.Its a very calm n enjoyable atmosphere. The server was really attentive, nice and not pushy. The food was amazing, we got calamari, burrata salad, veal parm and tortellini, all of them were on point and delicious.The only draw back was how small the cheesecake piece was as we got it to share and considering it was $9, we thought it would be a bigger piece but it was smaller than a hockey puck

Service was awful. Went there to celebrate my friends birthday and started to sing happy birthday and our waiter comes over and tells us to stop singing because there are other people in the restaurant! We ordered the family plan as we were with others and when the bill came waiter rudely demands an 18% tip even though they had already told us that over the phone and that is what we had already tipped! I was absolutely shocked and will never go back.

Wish I could say the same about my experience on Friday. loved the decor, great start to my first impression as I havent been here before unfortunately the rest of our night fell below average. The manager looked confused when he searched for our reservation which felt awkward. Wine list is way over priced and the selection is not very good. The food was horrible!We shared the mussles and octopus, the mussles looked half dead and had a off smell, The sauce had no flavor! The octopus was the worst I ever had. Rubbery, and gross. The bread was about the most edible item I felt we ate and we said that to the server who laughed with us? Not sure that was a good thing. We chose not to order mains which looking at the reviews was a great idea.Bad food, over priced wine, confused looking manager. I wont be back anytime soon.

This place is lovely. The atmosphere is cozy and classy at the same time and the food is top notch and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic, I can highly recommend any of their pizzas or their beef cheek poutine.

Not very family friendly. Feel strongly that because we had children our server was agitated, impatient, and non-attentive.Childrens meal is "ok" veggies taste smoked or charred which doesnt tend to work for young children.Overall, food was ok, wine was expensive, and service made us feel unwelcome. Not sure that Ill be back.

Lucked out by going on a Monday. Buy one pizza get one free and their pizza is really good. The Mrs said it was the best pizza shes ever had (fungi). Great job by the waitress and a nice, chill atmosphere. Definitely will be going back.

Food was average but not authentic Italian. As someone who frequents downtown Toronto and fine dining restaurants often, I’ve had quality ilaitian food, and this place isn’t that. Don’t get me wrong, it was decent, but certainly not worth the prices they charge for their food. Not to mention $18 for a glass of wine. For a restaurant located in a strip plaza beside a Metro grocery store, it certainly doesn’t warrant the prices for the quality of food. Service was great though. Unfortunately, based on the prices of the menu, I won’t be going back.

Had my aunts 60th birthday here. Food was Italian. Pretty tasty. Ambiance was decent. We had our own semi private room. Waiters were fairly attentive. Overall, decent dining experience.

Took the family today for brunch with Santa. Adult brunch was $15.95 and kids was $9.95. Sooooo worth it. So much food, so many choices and absolutely delicious. Great family atmosphere and the kids loved seeing Santa and having photos taken. The service was not spectacular but I imagine because it was super busy and they were already on their third brunch seating of the day. I would like to go back and try their regular menu. This will become our annual Santa tradition now, best way to see Santa whilst enjoying amazing food!!!!

Nice looking restaurant with a nice atmosphere.Food not good. My husband had a steak and mash which both were not seasoned properly and tasted bland. I had the beef pasta (forgot which specificallyit was really bad. When waited came he asked if we were done which we were and he asked why I didnt eat much, told him I did not like it. Tiramusu tasted wonderful. My meal cost was taken off the bill thanks to the waiter.

Always excellent food and great service. Would highly reccomend this wonderful Oakville restaurant.

I went there for the first time tonight and I had the most incredible service in my life. If your server is Sarah prepare to be amazed at the amazing attention to detail in her service. That lovely lady is one of the best servers Ive ever seen. This is coming from someone who has served for years and managed restaurants. Between her and the very delicious food Ill definitely be back again!

We went for the first time this past Friday (made a reservation). Resteraunt was pretty packed, which is nice to see. The service was great, which is always a plus! I believe our table ordered : cauliflower bites, meatballs, 2 pizzas, the trout and the gnocchi. My pizza could have had more flavour in the sauce, it was pretty bland but on the plus side the cheese was good. My husband had the trout and loved it. We shared the meatballs and they were also good came out sizzling but again the sauce could have more flavour. Overall a lovely experience and we would come back:)

Went to Tavolo on a recommendation. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff are friendly. The food was okay. Maybe it was what we ordered but there was no flavour to the Penne arbriata. Its wasnt on the menu but the waiter said it would be no problem to make it. The pizza was good. The waiter forgot our appetizer as well. It wasnt busy on the night we went. Overall its okay. Might try it again.

Worth the drive from Niagara. Thursday night celebrations. My first time there and we truly enjoyed the food. Loved the $5 mini appetizer options they have on Thursday’s. You get to try out a bit of everything. Prices are great, service was exceptional, our food was full of flavour, cooked to perfection and the restaurant atmosphere has a great vibe. Loved how the place had fresh orchid plants and blooms throughout the window and as you enter. Always feel seeing flowers add a touch of elegance to any space. Our waiter had treated us with a complimentary dessert for my girlfriends Birthday. I will definitely come back to sample more dishes.

Went there on the weekend wih my family. Service was amazing, even though the restaurant was super busy. The food was delicious and had a very authentic Italian taste to it , with a modern look. We were with a party of 8 , and I tried a couple of my family members food . Every single Dish was amazing. Portion sizes were more then enough. The restaurant itself was very modern, and clean.I would recommend this restaurant over and over again

Great ambience, fantastic people working there, and amazing food! (P.S.: the pastas are good, but the Double Lindt Tartufo is just out of the world!!)The only issue we had was that we asked the waiter if our dish (4 cheese..was vegetarian and he said yes. When it came to us, it had meat in it and thankfully we caught it before we ate it!! Understand the person was nice and apologetic about it.... but it should never have happened.

Just returned from a fabulous dinner! From drinks to appetizers to main course, it was all amazing. Our server was fantastic. My first restaurant review ever, it was that good. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

We are here at least once a month (my husband and I and our 3 kidsand yet Ive never left a review! Tavolo is our go to place. Consistently great services, reliable food, incredible atmosphere, and just a really accommodating, relaxing vibe. Ive also gone there with friends for dinner and drinks, and although the scene dies down early, its a great place to spend your evening. Highly recommend.

Great food, great customer service, and great atmosphere... Ive been here once with a big group party in their party room (which is great for work functions or even a bridal shower). Came here with a girlfriend and with family today. Each time the food did not dissapoint. First time I had leftovers, and its a MAJOR bonus that they dont use plastic takeout!!!!I had the veggie pasta, while others had the burger, Pollo Pizza, and some pasta dishes. All were good.

Went to Tavolo for a rare date night... the experience was great from the beginning. The restaurant was jammed busy but the owner managed to get us a great table. The waiter was so busy but provided wonderful service always with a smile. The food...every mouthful was delicious especially the Jenny pizza which is my new favourite!! Will be back for the 2-4-1 pizza Monday evening. Highly recommended.

I really liked the interior--very modern and rustic at the same time. Good colour pallette. Also liked the location in a quiet, relaxing neighbourhood plaza.There was either a wedding or baby shower happening in a side room which was fine as it wasnt noisy or distracting.I had the gnocchi which was so soft and delicious. Sauce was a little acidic, but the flavour balance may have been off when I asked for no cheese.Good service and staff.

I heard about this place some time ago. Went lastnight for dinner, I loved the vibe and the outdoor aesthetics. Drink orders were on spot, Appetizers came & Main Course took awhile....so YOU must be patient! Its a BUSY spot. Eric our server was nice considering he was there nearly 12 hrs. Could be a bit more authentic....will be back for sure!

Fabulous! Atmosphere, food and service! One entree out (of fourwas not quite up to par, the manager redid the order post haste, and brought a cup of soup to hold the customer over and the redone meal was perfect. The other 3 dinners were perfect already. To top it off, the manager brought us a lovely selection of desserts and we came away HAPPY. Thats what its all about...mistakes do happen but its all about how you recover from them. Thank you Tavolo...we will be back.

Really enjoyed it here. Good atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. The creme brulet was a great dessert choice as well. Can be noisy, but not too bad. No reservations required on a Friday night.

Mediocre at best. The 5 star reviews have to be friends/family/paid. The chicken pizza had chicken on it that tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. 9 oz glass of wine is 18 god damn dollars. The pasta was just OK. The breading on meat was scorched.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff. We have eaten here a few times. Salads and appetizers are great. Today I ordered the special. Overcooked fish I had to saw with a knife. Fingerling potatoes tasted like they were reheated from yesterday. Sauce was from the fridge cold. Rapini was good. Very disappointing, Mostly because the waitstaff knew they shouldnt have served this dish to me and I will now have trust issues with Tavolos kitchen. Disappointed.

The service, ambiance and the food was Just excellent. Warm and friendly place. Arancini, grilled calamari, and salmon with couscous were all delicious. Bruno, the chef was also great. He made time to chat with us out of his busy schedule. Definitely will keep returning there.. It is now one of my favorite restaurants.

We loved it. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The food is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. Its an open kitchen which is immaculately kept, you can even peer inside the fridge through a large window. There were 8 people in our party and between us we tried a number of items from the menu and the daily specials. Everything was outstanding.
