Taverna Nisiotiko in Kos

Had evening meal here last night, waited a while for our meal but they did inform us that on arrival, was well worth the wait, it was lovely and the staff were very professional even to a rude diner who complained how long there meal was taking, but they also was informed it would take a while, has I see it, yes it was busy, but isnt that a good thing, knowing it was gonna be a lovely meal

When we arrived, the host was very kind. The menu is out of this world, with so many choices! I am sure theres something for any hungry lad. We had the Greek Dish for 2, which was more than enough and was one of the best dishes weve had so far. And after all, we received a nice ouzo on the house. You wont regret eating here!

By far the best food in the area. Superb staff - we ate there 10 nights out of 14 after trying a few others. Extremely consistent and fresh products .Always book early as its so popular - I have not read other reviews but I will guarantee they say it takes while to get your food - hence book and get there early OR yes you have to wait as its packed due to popularity.

Not really child friendly. We were reseated by one of the waiters, then second came and said the stroller is a problem...we were sitting alone in the back section!

One of the best places to eat in Tigaki, maybe even Kos. The food is absolutely delucious and the people are friendly and kind. Highly recomend you check it out at least once.

We waited 80min for food, the pizza was oily and greek salad small (comparing to other taverns). Family next to us was there before us and got food after us, wondering how long they waited.

Fabulous food and beautiful little taverna

The food was incredible especially the fresh fish, that accompanied with the sublime view and contagious character of the owner made the experience of dining here one of the most stupendous moments I have been lucky enough to encounter.

Very Tasty Food I just loved it

Beautiful place. The décor is in Greek style. The restaurant has a nice outdoor area which is located in the back of the restaurant. Which makes the stay a bit quieter. Since it can be a bit more hectic in the evening on the street. The food is delicious. The service is very friendly. We really enjoyed 🥰 the evening here

Nice place with seats in the very pretty garden in the back.Friendly service, tasty food.I would recommend the white beans and the garlic mushrooms.The tzaziki was not garlicy enough for my taste and I thought it odd we just got one piece of bread each.

I had some of the best lamb chops Ive had in Greece. The waiter let us know at first that they had only two employees that night and it might take a while, but that itd be worth it. He was right about both. Great food and service at a reasonable price, well be back for sure.

Went for a meal here last night,have to say not the best we have had. Meal took over an hour to arrive, which is unacceptable. A group of 5 diners with 2 having a salad, 2 having a mixed grill, 1having a chicken sweet and sour dish. It was overpriced and not very tempting, with the chicken being full of gristle,and the salad we could have got a lot cheaper and better elsewhere. Would not recommend and would most definitely not go back.

Fabulous Greek taverna always good food and good atmosphere.

We went here yesterday and had the most beautiful meal. We arrived at about 9:30, service was speedy and the waiter was able to advise us on our decisions as to what we would enjoy.This is delicious authentic Greek food, it is affordable and the environment is great - would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic steak meal tonight September 19/9/21 with my partner,Steak was everything you could wish for, service 110%, can’t fault this restaurant, lovely complement drink, which is how I remember the old Greece.Love Love Tingaki been coming for 8 years staying in the Mayflower Hotel another 110% place to stay.x

Nice typical Greek Taverne. Sit in the back, there is a small terrace with a couple of trees. Even so it was not super busy the service was a little bit slow. The food was good, but the homemade lemonade much too sweet!

Good place, under a thick shadow and nice atmosphere, however the food and the prices are not really adequate for what the surrounding restaurants are offering. Also, the greek hospitality is totally missing.

Whether you want traditional Greek cuisine or something a bit different, this restaurant is for you. Delicious food, attentive waiters and good prices. Well worth the taxi ride from Casa Cook if you want to eat something that tastes much better than it looks!

Nothing special or shiny. Tried several Greek restaurants on the island... this was the best. Prices are cheap, staff is friendly, food is good.

Very good Greek traditional food taverna. Excellent place not far from the beach. The backyard looks amazing , but you can not stay there mid-day because of the sun, at night on the other hand, a beautiful spot to enjoy your dinner.
