Nice place, lovely service. I am obsessed with taramassalata. The one they served was definitely not taramassalata... Didnt taste bad, it qas nice for whatever it was. Definitely not taramassalata. Everything else was very nice welcoming staff

A very honest value for money local choice. Good service, good good, moderate prices.

We had the roasted pork, roasted lamb, lamb chops, grilled seabream, grilled octopus, fresh kalamari, fried kalamari and tika masala. All of the above was delicious and in generous portions. In fact it was so delicious that we ate there 3 out of 4 days we stayed in the area. A solid 5 stars from our perspective.

Great food and great position right on the seafront.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is very good and some non Greek like tikka masala and sweet and sour pork. We had the pork with crackling and it was really lovely. All the dishes looked great and it was clear that most of the clients were repeat business. Sunset to die for. Highly recommended.

The new location (at the beach frontis way more comfortable than before. The grilled meats are recommendable.

Vegetarian section of the menu was great, we had 5-6 dishes that were all delicious. Friendly service and front row seat for a picturesque sunset. Could not ask for more.

The Pastichio bechamel was sweet yet savory, havent had it like that before, will try to make it that way from now on.Dolmades had a little red pepper, so were a little spicy. Very nice change, solid lemon sauce.Everything was good, legit. Looking forward to bring friends here.Ask for the fries well done, kalo psimenes.

Best Taverna in Stoupa

Had a wonderful meal here and the service was very friendly. Had the suckling pig (pig roast every nightwhich was amazing. Wish hadnt waited until our last night to try this place, dont make the same mistake!

If you are planning to visit more than once, dont. They are going to relax and give you whatever is left from the last day and also not pay attention to what tou order. I have talked with other locals after I got mistreated there and it is very common for them to do so. The place is also full of flies that bite. Would not suggest nor visit ever again.

Nobody here really - all the UK guys stuck what a shame, Melissa is still probably the best restaurant. The food is really really good. Cooked food, roast pork, lamb kebabs. The biggest glass of tsipouro ever. Lovely rose.Just very good, careful cooking. Unfortunately the "card machine was broken" rib-tickler came at the end. 1 star off.

Just a suggestion.....maybe its worth asking customers if they want quick service or traditional Greek.

This place made our holiday, staff and owners were amazing with our children and served the best food. The serving sizes are huge and they go beyond expectations to spoil you! Staff are great and loving and we fell in love with them all..even the sweaty chap.... noting the comments on sweat.. they are true.. the guy sweats in 40 degree heat to please you , he changes his shirt regularly as he is aware.. so what.. we all would sweat if we worked that hard!!This is the place to eat in stoupa 👍🏼👍🏼

If location (i.e. viewsdoesnt matter and a very sweaty waiter dont bother you, you can definitely go there for the decent food

Good traditional food. They have a great curry selection. Their roasted lamb is tasty but the fat has not rendered so quiet fatty and greasy.

I cant understand why this Taverna is not voted the best in Stoupa. Maybe not quite as chic as some other and no see view but the food and service is second to none.

Vasilis, Linda, Nick and the team go absolutely over the top to serve the very best in Greek and multicultural cuisine. We never fail to squeeze at least one visit in every time we come to Stoupa

Visited this place twice and both times had to question the bill quoted me far too much, They then apologized for the mistake food wasent the best was asked if I wanted a bit of cauliflower with my pork which I agreed thought it was with the price of the meal only to be charged €7 for it wont be going again there are better places in stoupa

Great family run Taverna with equally friendly staff . You cant fail to find the food delicious

Melissa taverna was a revelation. It is tucked away from the beachfront in Stoupa. Maybe for this reason it has to compete on quality. And it does so quite successfully. Not that the other tavernas do not offer very good food, but the Melissa is a notch above. We had 5 different dishes and each and every one was excellent. Service was extra polite and timely. Along with the bill we were offered yoghurt with grape sweet, also a really good and generous treat. By the way, having lunch there has the advantage of shade and cool while the beach front taverna are really too hot for comfort. Overall Melissa is really lovely taverna well worth a visit.

Excellent food, the best to be had in Stoupa. Linda and Vassili are at the top of their game, having traveled internationally to learn from the best chefs in Europe. They serve the best cuts of meat, the freshest seafood and produce, and their preparation is flawless. From Greek to Indonesian, from soups to salads, from curries to sauces, its consistently delicious

Busy despite being just off the main drag in Stoupa; meals were huge and delicious. Service was a little inattentive and they had a CD stuck on one song for 20 minutes which was annoying.

3 stars for the food, not made to feel welcome, that was reserved for people they knew, meal was fine, deciding whether to have a dessert when a group of people known to staff came in ,we were asked to move tables so they could sit this group felt embarrassed and uncomfortable we moved finished our drinks paid and left .Would not recommend or return .
