Best Hotel for North Indian food in Kodaikanal...I had stayed in Kodai for 4-5 days and eaten in many places, but this I find best place serving North food. Definitely go there.

Amazing food! Really really filled with the essence of whatever the food is eg. We ordered Aloo Paratha and Raitha - every bit of it was filled with aloo and raitha was just mouth watering!

A real Indian restaurant, very tasty, excellent food, clean, good prices, charming and nice people. The owner of the restaurant answered all our questions and helped us find taxis and buses at good prices. It is highly recommended

Pulka & Cheese Paratha & Alu Paratha with side dish panner butter masala & Alu masala is so good and tasty. Along with peace pulav is so with side dishes. Masala papad with tomato & onion taste is also good. Finally we ordered Lussi It was so thick and tasty that we repeated this lassi twice.

Visited the place for evening snacks based on reviews. Tried pav bhaji, chat and finger fries. I was disappointed as it did not match the expectation set by reviews or the confidence exuded by staff whilst taking the order.Cleanliness is average. Its a small fast-food joint in basement which can accomodate 12-15 members max. No restrooms available.

The food is freshly cooked, tasty and affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate here almost everyday during our visit to Kodaikanal. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic north indian food. The panner Paratha is very good here.

We had their sumptuous aaloo parantha , and paav bhaji.Paav bhaji for 160/- for 1 paav seems slightly overpriced, but is delicious and the size of paav is slightly bigger too.We had the aaloo parantha packed for next day breakfast , which they neatly packed in aluminium foil.

I bought a pav bhaji which cost me 160 speaking of cost it was a bit costlier but considering the location it was fair . Dont forget to try out their chats..

I was searching for good vegetarian restaurants in Kodaikanal and found this Tava Restaurant. It seems to be run by family with small kitchen but have lot of North Indian food menu. Taste was very very good and delicious. There limited seating facilities but due to the taste worth waiting for our time. Staffs are very friendly and polite. Price is nominal.

Best place to have authentic North Indian food in KodaiKanal. They have small shop but it is very neat and clean. It can accommodate 25 to 30 people easily.We went 12 people and each one of us ordered different items. All the items are delicious and finger licking test.I would recommend every nother indian people going to KodaiKanal visit this restaurant and try its food once and decide. Adding few click I captured in restaurant. Sorry for half chapati 😅 food was looking so good that we cant forgot to capture pics and directly started eating it.

VERY CROWDED place (expect 15-20 min waiting timebut really tasty and healthy North Indian food. Tried palak paneer (best), vegetable makhani (very good), paneer makhani, Gobi masala, buttermilk and chapati was really soft.

If you are searching for genuine North Indian food at kodikanal, this is the place for you. Food is delicious! The place is always full, they manage with 6 - 7 tables and there is hardly any waiting time considering the crowd. They always ask us about how much spice to add and the whole menu is awesome. If you are nearby to lake please give it a try!!

Great food at a reasonable price! Buttermilk was awesome! Dont eat Paneer paratha here. Ambience sucks. It is very near to the city centre.Punjabi gravies were good. Parathas were also good.

I swear this restaurant is Pathetic and worst of all the restaurants in Kodaikanal. Food quality here is very very poor. Service is damn slow and the waiters are rude too. Very expensive and not at all worth eating. If you eat here your stomach will surely spoil and collapse. We were four friends and all four of us had a stomach ache.

Better place for North Indian foods. Melted with taste of cheese paratha. Various items like bindi masala, paneer items etc. Place is small but taste is very good. Price is little expensive. Service is average. No parking space. Bike can be parked but for car is doubt. It is located at the slope. It is little difficult to find the restaurant as it is in underground.

Definitely food is very good ...But as many have complain is sarvice is very slow ... but as they have very small kitchen they might me taking more time to prepare... ya but one suggestion is once when we have already started eating our food then giving an extra roti should not take much time ...as we had mostly every thing 😜 and everything was just perfect

A great place for some tasty vegetarian food! This is a small restaurant situated on PT Road that serves all kinds of vegetarian dishes at affordable and reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and always have a smile of their face. I highly recommend their ghee chapati and paneer makhani. I guarantee you will go back for more. Their hot chocolate is the best I have had in Kodaikanal and they provide sugar separately if you prefer to add it on your own. Payment can be done with cash and card. There is no gpay.

A good veg resturant which serves north Indian and Jain food, South Indian not available, tasty food with got spread on the menu , but need to bring down the butter in the food very much , can visit , but sometimes the chef not available it is your bad luck 😊

It was above average restaurant. parathas and pav bhaji are worth to try and very good in taste.you will feel taste similar to home.chapatis are awsome and we tried shev tamatar that is average but this is the good option in veg you have in Kodaikanal.

Dont go by the size, small yet cost, clean and tasty food.Phulkas were really fluffy and soft.Basic north Indian menu with decent pricing.Quick service, hygienic.Mushroom masala wasnt too spicy.Location is near the junction and market area.

Authentic North Indian dishes in Kodaikanal!! Their parathas are so soft, their gravies are delicious especially Palak Paneer, it was great. But the quantity they serve for the price they charge was too less. A gravy is 160 rupees on an average it is not enough even for two Parathas. You can see the quantity in the pictures I post. Food taste was great, but let down by their pricing and quantity.

Very good restaurant. It has very short menu, but whatever food it offers is of great taste. It is home made kind og food with great taste. It is must visit restaurant when you are in main bazaar. Especially, North Indian prefer this restaurant because of obvious reasons. Aaloo paratha is one of the best dish here. This restaurant starts at 11.30am and us closed on Thursday. We had just rotis and mutter paneer. Tastes great. Mango lassi was amazing. Place is very good and best for all vegetarian North Indian and Jain dishes.

Its a very small restaurant located in the basement on PT road opposite to Bharat Petroleum with a seating capacity of around 25 people, serving amazing and delicious north Indian food. Try their paneer and kofta it was mouth watering. Apart from the huge waiting and slight hygenie issue I did not find anything bad about this place.

When it comes to tandoori/north indian food, people swear by this restaurant when in Kodaikanal.A 200 sq ft restaurant with a small kitchen churning out delicious food, just like home cooked, soft hot rotis and naans, at very pocket friendly prices. Unbelievably good for a place like Kodai!Though their menu is not very elaborate, they have a descent choice of panners, vegetables (side dishes& dals and a few rice dishes too.And after taking every order they ask you if the food is to be cooked spicy/medium spicy or bland. I liked this, considering the size of this restaurant.We loved the food, not too spicy, not too oily and very tasty.Seeing the crowd coming to this place, Im sure the waiting time could be upto an hour at times!Found my review useful?
