Pretty good pad see ew. I would say that the chicken had great flavor where other Thai restaurants lack in seasoning. I do feel like it was a little over powering on the garlic. If I’m not wrong the hint of black pepper added a nice touch.No issue with wait time. Limited parking.

I love the way the cooks work. The taste is amazing. I recommend to everyone.

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had!!!

One of the best food spots in Long Beach. This cool family owned spot consistently serves the tastiest food. Ive had the Pad see ew, pad thai, the eggs rolls, all delicious. Best time to order is early in the day when they are less busy.

Amazing pad Thai! The dish was wonderfully cook. Well balanced and with tons of flavour. Was spicier than I could handle. But it was so good, I kept eating through the sweet-sweet pain - it hurt so good.

I knew the food was gonna be good as soon as I saw the cooks in the kitchen. It was a group of grandmas and one grandpa in charge of peeling. So you know it was made with love. I got the fried chicken and chicken pad thai. The fried chicken was ok but the pad thai was great. The portion was alot bigger than I expected, its more than enough for two people. I would absolutely recommend and will be back.

Big portion sizes, fresh good food, authentic taste, and good prices. The service is on the slow side so plan in advance or order ahead.

Excellent food and service

So, I found this place in Google Maps, but was a bit worried about going, cause this is in Da Hood, for real. I was driving through crackheads blocking traffic on the way here. I have to say it was worth it. The best Thai food I have ever eaten! So when I saw their photos on Google Maps, I found none other than Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias comes to this place a lot. No wonder why, this place has amazing food. I ordered the Panang Chicken Curry and Beef Pad Tai, with Thai tea. It was a lot of food! I have added this place to my favorites, and Ill be coming back here for sure. The owner was a sweet heart, he said to spread the word that he needs customers as hes struggling.

Opened my world up to Papaya salads, there is a Thai style and Laotian style. Thai is with shrimp Paste and lao is more fermented. Lao style with a carne burrito from Tams was flipping amazing! Sometime you need Tams with Som Tam.

Visiting from San Diego and happy to have found this place for my husband’s birthday. Big portions, very flavorful, not greasy or salty. Loved the Drunken Noodles with all the vegetables (I’m a vegetarianand the rest of the family loved the Panang Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad Thai. The gentleman at the register (owner?was incredibly friendly and we had a lovely philosophical conversation while waiting for our order. Wishing this business many years of success.

I’ve been to thailand and this place is legit. Great food and host. Reasonable prices for the portions you get. Totally recommend this awesome joint. LBC hidden gem.

Fantastic Asian food. Especially the coconut soup and Tom yum. Its like menudo for Mexican if you have hangover it will take it right of.

Always Great!!! If you like Authentic Lao and Thai food and you craving it!!!??? This is the Spot!! Looks like a Hole in the Wall but believe it or not!!??? It is Super Authentic. Theres alot to Order but idk where to start but basic thing to start with I can say is Beef sticks and or Pad Thai!! But over all of I ever want an authentic home cooked Lao Thai Food..... This is It!!!

Great little place! ORDER “NO SPICE” if you tend to order mild at other places. I think I’m pretty spice tolerant but ordering “mild” on some dishes renders them occasionally inedible. I wouldn’t DARE ordering medium and I would be honored to shake the hand of someone who orders “hot.” “No spice” still has plenty of spice and flavor!

I thought this was lovely! The gentleman was extremely friendly and kind and provided wonderful service, and the food was wonderful! There is such a cute little garden to eat in, and I would 100% recommend!

I love little neighborhood spots like this and I found this one on a fluke and it was very tasty I did not eat there Id had takeout but the pie the noodles the rice the tofu that I had everything was just really good

Definitely the best Thai food in long beach. Staff are all great and value is excellent for the portion sizes/taste/food quality. Mainly a takeout but there are also a few tables on the patio you can sit on.Barbers next door is also there if you want to get your haircut whilst you wait!

I can not recommend this place enough. I’d order here maybe 2 twice a week, same great quality every single time. Thai tea is bomb, pad Thai is my fav. Honorable mention: pad se ew, amazinggggggg Tom kha

Great hole-the-wall thai food. Cash only, wait can be long so call ahead. I like paying the little extra for crispy pork. The pad thai is really good in that its not too sweet or a weird bright orange like other places. Always ask for the fresh chili to go as well. The soups come with rice. They give really large portions for the price. Service is always friendly.

Ive moved away from long beach 2xs to lynwood and to hunntington beach and anytime Im looking for thai I drive straight to them. I love them. My favorite dishes are the combo fried rice and their egg rolls are theeeee best . I legit buy 6 minimum . Also their mint leaf chicken is delicious ! Honestly everything is good . Small menu great customer service and they are consistent. Yu can see right into the kitchen they really are a family food place and they are dedicated to their customers . Love love love 5 stars !

This place gives you good portions of food for pretty cheap. I would suggest you order online and pick it up cause they take time to prepare. The Green curry we ordered was the best we have had in a while! It did justice to Thai cuisine. The spiciness was absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to get food from them again. This place is a real gem!

This is some of the best pad thai Ive had. I try this dish all over when traveling and am frequently disappointed, but not this time. This is delicious, richly flavored, generous portion, and a beautiful presentation even in a to go box. They convinced me to try larb for the first time too. Its a funky dish for sure, but I am so glad I tried it! Make sure to get a little of everything in the bite and it works well, very tasty.

Great customer service awesome cheap South East Asian food. Took a minute to be ready but well worth my wait my guess was I just came in at peak lunch hour. Hard to find cheaper Thai iced teas outside of BKK and the interior of the place smelt like the Lord, even through my face mask. I was suggested and now can recommend their Tom Yum. Get it spicy, it will not disappoint.

The prices are super fair, the taste is outstanding (some the best pad thai I have had), if you are a spice freak like myself the extra spicy is good, but I could go hotter. Give you a perspective I put ghost pepper, scorpion peppers, and birds eye chilis in just about most of what I eat. This made my mouth tingle, but not sweating. Will come back again 100%. The customer service is great and put love into their food and business.

Yoooo this food is the B E S T in Long Beach. I would eat here every single day if i could afford it. The price is definitely right here. They hook you up with lots of food and it tastes amazing. I would recommend grabbing a Thai tea with whatever you get. Get their business card and recommend to a friend. Order lile 30 minutes in advance. Some days it does take a bit long because business is good

***UpdateI tried going again recently for curry and had a much better experience. After a couple times eating thier delicious curry I tried getting the pad-see-ew one more time. This time the quality was much better. Maybe they changed cooks recently? Either way Im raising my two stars to 4 stars as Im much more impressed with the food now. I always judge a Thai place by their drunken noodles. This places drunken noodles were super oily and had almost no flavor. Many of the noodles were stuck together so you would get clumps of just plain cooked noodle. A friend actually brought up this place to me and mentioned how they didnt like it. I asked what they ordered and they said it was the noodles also :( The other food may be good but the noodles were definitely not that great (at least when I went).

Best Pad Thai, best coconut soup, best fried rice... I could go on and on. I made mistake of eating Pad Thai from another spot because Tasty Food To Go doesnt do delivery. Well never again. Their pad Thai is the best. I have never had a bad meal from Tasty... always delicious and great service. Everyone is always friendly

Food was cheap and tasty . Ordered two orders of chicken wings , five eggrolls, and chicken lo main. Feed four adults and one child for $30.00 I would recommend . Hard to find parking so park across the street in the Gonzalez market and walk across. Only thing I would change would be the sweet chili sauce for the egg rolls it was kind of watery. Other than that a basic no frills place with good food. We ate outside and it was nice . Everyone was happy with food . Highly recommend.

What an experience. The food is high quality, fresh, and delicious. You may have to wait a little while sometimes but that is because every order is made individually, even the soups, which are made in large batches at most Thai restaurants. This wasnt an issue for me because while you wait, you can get an affordable haircut nextdoor in the salon, owned by the same people. The owner, Lam, could not have been nicer and made me feel very welcome.Go get yourself some cash, call in, and prepare yourself for some seriously good eats.

This place is really good I especially love the fried rice and pad Thai. The beef jerky is good as well with rice. The atmosphere is great and if you pass by at night you can smell the delicious food they are cooking that makes you hungry and crave what they are making.

Cash-only. Average prices for Thai & Lao meals prepared on the spot. Smells fantastic inside and menu is easy to read and posted on the wall. Parking is easily found across the street at Northgate Market. Offer free bananas and cookies while you wait. Staff are incredibly kind and make many efforts to make your experience a good one. Hidden on 10th street and Cherry, Tasty Food is a gem to the area.

Great take out place! Love the food. Decently priced. Staff is generally friendly and quite efficient. The main thing though is that the food is just so freaking good. They know what you mean when you say very spicy.

Best Thai food I have had, twice. Then you add in nice staff. Cap it off with one of the most engaging people you will ever meet, the owner. I am only visiting, but will eat here as often as possible when I return. Call ahead, as people are discovering this hidden gem and wait times can be long if you just show up. If you do have to wait I am guessing you will be happy to do so.

I love Thai food! This is some of the best Thai cooking I have ever tasted. The savor flavors of this Thai cooking was an unexpected treat. I suspect the reason for the complexity of flavors is due the the fact that the cooks are from a mix of Laos, Thailand and Cambodia.We had the Crunchy Pork with Chinese Broccoli, the Red Curry with Chicken and the Pad Kee Mow and all three were off the charts! Since my partner enjoy our food on the hot side we ordered all three SpicyMy only concern is that writing a review like this is going to make this little whole in the walk gem too popular !It is very small, there is some seating outside, but we ordered the food to go.

The place looks clean, I found the food to be fantastic. I stopped in with my friend when we were driving to the aquarium to get some food. Although the food did take a bit longer than I expected, it was was well worth it, everything was made fresh and infront of you. The staff was very chatty and charming while we were waiting for our food and even gave us free drinks (very considerate people). I would recommend it to anyone looking for some traditional thai.
