Tasty Chicken in Southend-on-Sea

Before the summer, 6 wings and chips would always be 2.50, competitive with the offerings around the area, so convenient for me who was closer to here. I understand the problem of inflation and the costs for the food, but raising it to 3.50 was crazy. I was willing to stick on to it though because it was nice food and easy for me to access. However, im not returning, after going there, hoping to get food within around 8 minutes then head off to my train. 6 minutes in and I hadnt even ordered, and there were only 3 groups of people in the shop. The food was all ready, the wings staring at me in the face, but multitasking was clearly never an option, because this guy just decided to take his time, not even taking more than one order at a time. And its the same guy every week so I will definitely not be returning, will have to find somewhere else because this is no longer an option for me.

If I could give a 1 star I would it was disappointing how long I had to wait and the chicken was dry ,tasteless and the staff were so rude I had no idea what to order due to how much they were rushing me

Ordered food and when I rang 2 hours later to find out where our order was I was told uber were not picking it up and I could not get a refund. They hung up on me.Rude.

Food was not fresh tasted like rubber if Im being honest first time ordering from there and that will be the last.

Chicken was abit pink so not cooked long enough

Chicken was very raw we couldn’t even eat it. It wasn’t cooked at all and then when we told them it wasn’t cooked they were rude and told us that’s how it is! Very expensive in there as well for raw chicken. They they didn’t even offer anything very disappointed!!👎🏿

Great tasty chicken at good prices. The chicken is juicy and tasty whilst still maintaining a decent amount of coating on top. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Food hygiene rating of 3.

As by name Tasty food was tasty too. Staff is friendly and efficient.I bought 20 wings bucket deal but disappoint with the fries bag was only squatter filled.Need to adjust Hanney Panny temperature as hotwings came out very dry.

The best chicken shop in essex. The chicken is perfect.. not dry like all the others.Also best chicken burger. Better than KFC I think.

Tasty food and value for money

My order came and it was perfect, chips were cooked lovely not too salty, the burger was delicious and the mozorella dippers possibly the best I’ve had in a while. 10/10. Only fault is that a tissue is needed !! Been going here since I moved here, best chicken shop around !

Dont eat there food. As had stomark bug from them a couple years ago. They have cleaned the shop up since then. My daughter likes there food. And maybe i will give them benifit of douwt. And try there chic burger again

Food is generally good and was delivered before the delivery time, which was great. Though I am a little disappointed on the amount of chicken popcorn you get.

Honestly, I went in and I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips. The guy there was very friendly, asked how I was. When I got the food it was so yummy I couldnt ask for anything betterDefinitely the best fast food restaurant in Southend!

Went in this evening and a deaf person was trying to order. They gave abuse and chucked him out. When we explained he was deaf and just trying to show them what he would like to order. They responded. No his stupid and cant talk. Might want to take a look at the disabilities discrimination act. Absolutely disgusting. Walked out and will never be returning absolutely disgusting behaviour.
