Indian and Bengali dishes in compact, glass-fronted restaurant, plus takeaway and delivery service.
Wonderful service delicious Indian food and very kind staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Exquisite food and excellent service!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our favourite Indian restaurant by far. The host is ever so kind, treated us at time to a free dish and he always makes you feel so welcome and remember his customers. Highly recommended, you wouldn’t be disappointed!
Lovely food and lovely staff we all enjoyed it, perfect for dine in or delivery
Exceptional food. The service is first class led by the owner Abdul. They can’t do enough for you. Bring your own booze too!!
We went for my fathers birthday meal and was treated with free dessert and the manager singing “happy birthday” on the mic 😆. Food was delicious although there should be more fish options as my mother is a pescatarian and she only had two options. All in all a good experience, thank you.
Great meal very tasty served by very friendly waiters. Looking forward to returning next time we are in town.
Came here from Dartford for my partners birthday meal, very friendly and welcoming staff, the service is fast and food very delicious and very tasty. Prices are also very reasonable 👍🏻 Manager Abdul was very kind and even offered us a free dessert! Will defo visit again!!
Went here for my birthday and it was lovely! Staff were very helpful and attentive, and all 5 of us loved our dishes. They were a little on the small side but we shared between us
Excellent food, meticulous service, very polite manager who introduced himself as we were new customers. The meat platter is highly recommended!
Ive been trying to find a really good Indian Restaurant for take-away for a long time. I focused on just the area where I live and have been pretty disappointed. I used to live near Taste of Nawab many years ago and had forgotten all about it. But I still live in delivery range.I thought Id try and... at last! A really really good Indian take-away. Ive ordered three times in the last couple of months and its been consistently excellent. Thanks to the people there - Ive tried so many in the last few years and all were sub-par. cant believe I didnt try you before, given how my family used to order from you all the time back in the day. Really delicious.
Next time I hope to make this five stars! We just moved up the road and came here tonight due to incredible reviews and free corkage on BYOB. The food was excellent! We said we are vegan and ordered a few dishes - the waiter helped make sure every dish we wanted was vegan. Service was fast and friendly. There was no service charge on the bill (very rare in Muswell Hillso we felt free to leave a tip, rather than be forced. It was all excellent - the best weve tried in London so far!...the one thing that will make me change this review to five stars is I want more spice! We could not taste any heat at all. It was delicious but we came hoping for a spicy curry. Next time I will be sure to mention we like it hot!
Visited this restaurant for my first time in London, and it did not disappoint, the customer service was absolutely amazing. I was also given recommendations and a free dessert which me and my family absolutely loved. I would definitely come back and would also recommend to everyone !
My friends and I went for a meal and were warmly greeted by the owner and his staff. Lovey food, generous portions and friendly staff. Highly recommend,
Taste of Nawab is not just our favourite Indian, its our favourite take-away. Weve just had another delicious meal from Taste of Nawab. The food is exceptional. My family loves it! Do try it yourself!
I tried Taste of Nawab for the first time last Sunday, and have just placed my second order 4 days later. The food is of exceptional quality, and the service is second to none. A gem of a restaurant. Thanks again
Ordered some prawn korma online, it was awful!Tasted like a badly done soup, like it was made by some amateur and not a check. Was the worst korma I ate in my whole life (and I eat very often). Never again. Also, the image is korma with rice but they done send the rice. £8 for a stale amateur korma.
Love it here, my family have been enjoying their food for years. Always welcoming, friendly and efficient service. Great tasting quality foods at the right prices. It’s one of the best in area for Tandoori’s and I can also recommend the lamb Biriani.
My Family and I have been coming to TON and getting takeaway meals from this restaurant since 2001.Undoubtedly the best Bangladeshi restaurant in North London with its Delicious Food and Service always of the highest order.A pillar in the local community that will hopefully continue to stand for many many more years to come.Don’t just take my word for it - Eat there or order a takeaway. You will not be Disappointed.Enjoy 😄👍😍
I have been eating at the Taste of Nawab for many years and cannot praise it enough. The food is truly excellent, their prices very reasonable and the service caring and attentive. This restaurant is an asset to the community.I urge you to try it. You will go back time and time again.Ps. I promise you this review is genuine and I’m not related!
I ate the naga chilli with lamb and plain rice and it was !!amazingI dont recommend taking the naga chilli if youre bad with spicy foodThe staff there are amazing always checking if everything was okayAnyone who is coming to London has to try this place
Brought my wife here on a date night and was given VIP treatment from the moment we walked in. All the staff were extremely personable and friendly. The restaurant itself was intimate and comfortable. Food arrived promptly and the recommendations given to me by Abdul were all spot on. The dishes I tried today had such a great flavour profile and I am very much looking forward to my next visit. My favourite curry house in north london! Thank you Abdul for looking after us :)
We had a very good experience at taste of nawaab. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. We dined in on a Sunday evening and ordered the saag king prawns, Chana masala and lamb karahi. Each dish was so full of flavour and had the right level of spice. The lamb in the karahi was very tender and packed with the lovely spices. The service we got from the team was amazing. They provided us with good recommendations of dishes and ensured we enjoyed them. The owner served us with a big smile and was very attentive to our needs. It was a great restaurant experience and would definitely recommend!!
Fantastic food, great service, super clean (+including the toilets)! I usefully order take out from here, but today I tried the restaurant- I really enjoyed the energy & the experience was lovely. Thanks for having us.
We love Taste of Nawab. The food is always divine and a step up above most Indian takeaways.Abdul the owner is welcoming and charming and also donates to help local causes in the community. We’ve eaten in and taken away many times and are always so happy with our choices.Wonderful.David & Louise
We very very rarely are able to eat out or get a takeaway because of allergies, but we took a chance on Taste of Nawab back in 2019 and have been able to enjoy their food regularly every since, both eating in and taking away. They are careful and if I dont call them to check that everything will be made gluten and dairy free, then they will call me to double check. The food is not only safe for us to eat, but it is fresh and absolutely delicious.
Delicious food and excellent customer service -they are genuinely kind. We have loved every dish weve tried. Balanced flavours, fresh ingredients, generous portions. They constantly deliver a five-star experience
Absolutely fantastic place! The food is amazing and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Always our number 1 choice for a great Indian take away!
My fiance and I went here a few weeks ago and the food was just incredible. I had a lamb and mango curry. The lamb was perfectly cooked and I was happy to find an Indian restaurant with a Mango curry on the menu. The service was really good to. The waiters were lovely and even gave us a free dessert. We will be back.
I was already going to give five stars, and then I had the mango kulfi and I realised that five stars aren’t enough. Best Indian restaurant in London (and best ice cream I’ve personally ever had)
Excellent local Indian restaurant with great menu options and reasonable price. The owners really make the extra effort to be welcoming to regulars and always accommodate special dietary requirements (proves its all fresh).
Best takeaway in years, incredible flavours. The taste of the King Prawn Dansak was banging. I ordered a few dishes more than I would normally, so that I could try and all were amazing.Highly recommended, next time I will dine in.
We have been having takeaways from Taste of Nawab for a number of years now. Food has been consistently delicious and have never had a disappointing experience. Staff are very friendly and have always been welcoming. Highly recommended.
Incredible. Our first time here and the food was amazing. Service great, very attentive staff. Love the personal touch of the hot lemon wipe at the end of the meal. 100% recommend!

We spent a family Eid celebration at Taste of Nawab recently. It was our first visit and we will be back. The menu was vast and the food outstandingly succulent with flavours to delight the palate. Along with great service and friendly staff it was a very special evening.
I had lamb madras, pilau rice and a chapati. The food was excellent! Lamb was tender and a good portion size. Rice fresh, and chapati cooked just right. Fast and friendly service when I picked up my order. Staff were polite and restaurant clean and tasteful. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic food! Everything is so delicate, with the great attention to detail: the meat, the rice, the naan… the ingredients are of the best quality! They cook extremely well and welcome you with kindness and hospitality. Thank you, Mr.Abdul, and the team! We’ll definitely be back soon!
We ordered food from A Taste of Nawab last night. It was for 12 people. We took the written order round at 5.30 showing the meals for each couple. The food arrived on time, piping hot. Each meal was complete with the receipt. Food fantastic. The manager rang during the evening to ask if we were happy. Such a good restaurant 😀
Delicious and traditional Indian cuisine ! We have chosen Taste of Nawab based on the 5 star TripAdvisor reviews, we know now why 🔥 Perfectly seasoned, indian taste, large portions, home and freshly made ! Definitely recommend !
Got rice, chicken Tikka, onion bahji and garlic nan to be delivered and I had a great surprise. The sauces came with the order and also the thin bread. I also got the Kaufi although it was very small but I enjoyed it. The taste was amazing and it had a good presentation. Also good portions. Definitely I’ll order again and I’d come to dine in to see the place myself. Pricewise is also very good
I really do not know where to start.... this place is amazing, properly world class food.. the staff are so friendly, the owner is one hell of a nice guy. first off, the food.. i normally choose a very hot dish, shove mushroom rice with it and a naan and thats it.. but this place has a very interesting menu, authentic indian and bangladeshi food.. i had the chicken shotkori, not too hot, but on the fiery side, with an amazing kick from some bangladeshi lime that has a flavour all to itself cutting through the whole dish. i could eat this forever, it should be served on NHS prescription.. my wife had tikka chicken massalla but this was not any ordinary dish this was amazing..the mixed starter is to die for, the samosas so light, crispy and not greasy.. the onion bhaji the same.. i had a cappucino ice cream for desert, served in a coffee cup.. can still taste that...secondly.. toilets so clean you could eat from them.. no joke..thank you for an amazing meal
Taste of Nawab has been our favourite Indian restaurant for over 20 years. The food is always extremely delicious and we love it there. The restaurant is also amazing for takeaway - the delivery is quick and the food is always hot when we receive it. I recommend it to everyone - it really is excellent. Keep up the good work, Abdul and your fantastic team!
So glad we tried this place out! The staff are polite and restaurant itself is nice and the food delicious! We went for the lamb chops and samosa for starters and Marrango prawns, Makhani lamb and special fried rice for main with Mango Lassi and Banana Lassi. The food was quick and service excellent. Thank you Taste of Nawab we will be back soon in shaa Allah
Sorry. Just HAD to order a takeaway while I was the area!Wow. The food is always yummy!! The service is amazing! I could eat this every day!You need to teach me how to make a Biryani 😉(Abdul, you need to open another restaurant closer to Finsbury Park)Thank you again for the delicious food! Will definitely order again next time I am in the area!
Absolutely amazing food! 😍 Fresh authentic tastes, rich flavours and perfectly balanced spices. Generous succulent chunks of meat and some really nice vegetarian healthy dishes for a bit of balance to a meal. Oh my lawd the crisp, fresh, fragrant samosas and peshwari naan are OFF THE HOOK ❣️ So beautiful. This is a gem💎 Really competitive prices for good portions. I had take away from here three nights last week 😅 My new favourite flavours!
My fiancé took me to this restaurant and I am extremely pleased with my visit. All the staff members were very professional and friendly, felt like “me and my fiancé” was treated very specially and every effort was made to meet the customer’s needs. I noticed around and realised that every customer was being treated the same “special & VIP” way which is amazing. Talking about food, I can say that THE FOOD WAS TOO GOOD 😋. Good value of money. I am surely going again and will take my friends and family too. Perfect place to take loved ones and to enjoy the real Asian food.
Such a great find, the food here is really fantastic. The owner and most of the staff are very welcoming and helpful. This is the type of restaurant that wants you to enjoy the food. I kinda object to paying extra (especially over the top extrafor rice or bread - especially when all these Asian dishes are designed to be accompanied by either rice or bread - just try eating any without. You wouldnt get charged extra for spaghetti if you had a spag bol in an Italian! I guess its the same rip-off principle in some other places too.Nether-the-less, fantastic food here. Definitely recommended
First time in an India restaurant with my friend! We loved it. They helped us to choose we were a bit lost in front of the menu haha! They guided us according to our taste and spicy tolerance. They were smiling and enthusiastic which made our dinner really joyful. We recommended it a lot!!
A small, humble restaurant that clearly deeply values its customers. You are met with warm hospitality and a cosy interior when entering. The food portions arent the largest, but the curries are very filling and priced modestly. The peshwari naan was the best Ive ever tasted! It can get extremely busy in the evenings so I highly suggest booking ahead, but its worth it.
Very delicious food. And the best service. Can bring your own drinks too. Very niceMust try.
