Food was okay but seems to be charged different prices for the same food by different staff every time we went there

Great fish and chip shop. Good Chinese takeaway too

Ubereats. Ordered 3 dishes. Spring onion and ginger beef - just yum. Sweet and sour pork was OK- missing sweetness. Combo fried rice - was OK- had a still red part cooked piece of beef mixed with well cooked and coated beef. No drama - just random. $25 per large container was on the dear side for what we received, service fee and delivery fee made whole order $83 - would try different order and pick up when covid isnt a concern anymore.

Very greasy food . Asked to be well wrapped but only used one sheet. Had to travel 10 minutes and it less than acceptable

Very nice staff, yummy food, care taken when cooking.

We ordered and got charged for more than what we got! Second time this has happened. The person who answered the phone sounds like he couldnt be less interested but did relay what I wanted. What we got was completely different. Will not spend well earned money on things we dont want.

Average in everyway, menu options, food taste an price. No option for chicken chowmein so chose chicken udon which was mostly loads of thick udon noodles, very minimal chicken an vegetables an lack of flavour, also no option to have chicken satay as an appetiser or as a main dish with noodles instead of rice an the prawn crackers were thin an very greasy. Price isnt great value for the food you get.

Hoki fish wasnt nice, the curry roll was small, the hotdog on stick had no sauce provided and the chips were ok

Food is always good here. The only problem is you have to wait along time sometimes. First world problems I guesss

The dumplings were great. But the egg fu young and beef hor fun were yuck. The egg tasted like it had been bulked out with something and was watery, the beef hor fun had no flavor and was nothing like an actual beef hor fun.

Food was well priced, tasted good, but it did take 45mins to get order, it didnt look busy.

I ordered 6 fish, 3 scoops of chips and 12 prawn twisters but got 7 fish 3 scoops of chips and 0 prawn twisters

Prawn fried rice had chicken and other stringy meat in it. Wont be back. $17 also, over fried, tasted awful.

Way better under new ownership . The chips are great and the Chinese food is MSG free and fresh.

BEST snapper in town! Haven’t found any other store that compares.

Disappointing wouldnt go there to buy a Chinese takeaway again vegetables wernt fresh big chucks of cabage stalks and celery was old had no real taste

Totally awesome service, food options and value. For the greatest taste of kiwi beautifully cooked fish and chips, and mouth watering Chinese smorgasbord.

Had friends around last night so we bought fish (Tarakihiand chips, really lovely, not greasy definitely be going back there, a bit further from the Lakes but worth the few extra mins 😊

What is the point of making cheesy weezys if you’re just going to put tomato sauce on. I am so angry. Ruined my entire 2018. I guess I’ll starve tonight for dinner

Very average chow mein

Price should be cheaper if they decrease the size of the meal. And it was my first time to see the two owners fighting and yelling at each other when customers looking at them. Seemed like they didnt care that customers were watching their fighting. Thanks for the weird experience.

Quality and quantity has been steadily declining. We spent far too much there on far too little food. Tonight we decided to add a cheeseburger to our menu. We got a burnt, flat bun, with an even flatter pattie (bought not made). 3 tiny wee slices of tomato, 2 bits of soggy (probably oldlettuce, and soggy onion. To make it a cheeseburger there was about half a teaspoon of cheese. All of which was drowned in foul tomato sauce. Without a doubt the worst burger I have ever seen. Going to Fraser Cove next time where we will spend less for far better burgers. We wont go back to this one in Pyes Pa.

Chips were ok. That was as good as it got.BBQ pork chowmein; 98% noodles a scattering of cabbage and carrot and probably 50g pork if we were lucky.Kids had battered hotdog; cheep gritty sausage with barely a covering of batter.BBQ pork bun; cant go too wrong microwaving frozen buns.
