Tassnim Orient GmbH - Lebanese restaurant in Luzern, Switzerland
Tassnim Orient GmbH in Luzern
Description
Privilege
Not the best Lebanese food experience I had. Expensive also. I will give the 4 star rating for understanding waiter who didnt charge us for extra rice we had asked
MoreThe best Lebanese kebab at the *only* Halal place you can find in Luzern (based on the remark made by a girl we met at Barbes). They dont serve alcohol unlike any other place in Luzern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not only he taught me how to eat the kebab (like really i had to ask how exactly do you eat this lol), but also he gave me wonderful insights of Switzerland in general. There was one older guy, who doesnt really speak English but ver friendly and full of smiles, offered me another white sauce that comes with Shawarma (sorry i forgot its nameand hot sauce (not the ones like ketchup but authentic ground chiliwhen i finished it halfway my meal (it was delicious i tell you). I have had wonderful time when i was here and i highly recommend this place to any Muslim travellers visiting Lucern.
MoreThe owner is a nice person, the food is average. The price is a little expensive. I didnt like the fact try dont sell alcoholic drinks.
MoreLovely place with delicious food
Wouldn’t recommend for good lebanese food.
excellent service and tasty food
Delicious food and cheap.
nice good. great service
The food was very tasty
shawarma comes with no kubboos or bread. If couple wants to buy one shawarma.they say only take away.a two year infant also need to order for them to serve. Got embaressesd with their attitude. This food is never halal. Mere slaughtering does not mean halal. A normal 50 gm chiken with eight potato fries cost 20 euros.a mc D burger is halal than thassnim.Never ever encourage these restaurants.i rate 1.please do not go.what I write is true from my EXPERIENCE. MONEY IS NOT HALAL IF YOU TAKE LIKE THIS. AND TREAT ALL CUSTOMERS EQUAL. THEN PLACE A HALAL BOARD
MoreThe food was amazing. It tasted great! However, this did not justify the very small portion sizes compared with the extreme prices. Though, I must also admit that I am not used to high Swiss prices for eating out.
More12 francs for 1 cold tasteless soup :D yeah yeah
Always good value. Been going since years and it’s always nice. The owner is also very friendly, which is a plus. I haven’t tried many Lebanese restaurants but this is the best I can recall.
MoreLovely Middle Eastern ambience, very friendly staff. Food was excellent especially the kebabs that just melt in your mouth.. Excellent place for halal Lebanese food..
MoreVery bad restaurant, please don’t waste your time and money to visit such restaurant!!I visited the place more than 10 days back and they served me rice which was cooked a day before or even more !! When I explained that to the waiter who served us he mentioned “I have the best rice in Luzern” and he didn’t replace it for us 😲 very disappointed 👎🏼👎🏼
MoreRUN AWAY. The food tasted like anything but lebanese food. It was clearly overnight cooked food and heated by microwave. Very bad quality, service and it is overpriced. Even if I was offeref to eat here for free, I wouldn’t.
MoreVery nice little place, but I was very happy to find a halal restaurant. I was very pleased with my meal, but my wife wasnt. Hence 4 stars. But I would happily return if I visit Lucerne again
MoreGreat food, one of the best kebabs out there, and very friendly owner
Good Restaurent, Service is very freindly, food was delicious, Price is ok
I tried the Shish Taouq and Chicken Shawarma, both were average. Note that the Chicken Shawarma was not really the typical Shawrama, but tasted and looked like small pieces of oven-made chicken.
MoreBest shawarma hummus kebab Ive eaten so far. Its actually the best in the whole country.
MoreBest Lebanese restaurant Ive ever eaten from ages. Nice service with nice food and design. Need to go some other time.
MoreLuxerious Lebanese restaraunt, and delecious food and the service is excellent. The restaraunt is located in best place in SwitzerlandThe prices are studied, and good compared to other luxurious restarauntsI usually go to this restaraunt to eat lebanese food
MoreOne of the most luxurious restaurants that prepare the most delicious food, in addition to the fact that the service is very special
MoreLebanese food nearby our stayed apartment
Great food and chilled atmosphere. The classic Lebanese decoration made me feel Ive been to Lebanon already. Friendly staff.
MoreDelicious halal cuisine. Courteous staff. Had a pleasant time there.
Nice place. Tasty food, Fattoush, Hummus and not to forget to mention Batata Harra and mixed grill. Special Thanks for Ahmed for serving us :).
MoreBad experience when it comes to the food quality and quantity as well as the prices
MoreVery overpriced for the food quality. The prices are really expensive and the food quality is really mediocre. I don’t recommend it.
MoreAmbience is good and warm. Short and simple menu. Taste of the food could be better.
MoreLovely Lebanese food , the beef shawarma is very delicious, the owner of the restaurant is so nice he brought us mint tea while we waited for our take away
MoreThe service was good because there only few customers. The food was below average and was very expensive for such food. One thing I liked was the hummus and the decoration. The place was clean.
MorePls run, if you are yet to order the food. This place should not be called a Lebanese restaurant. Exorbitant prices and below average food & drinks. Very disappointing experience overall. Don’t want to give them any stars.
MoreThis one of the worst restaurant in terms of quantity, quality of food and services as well as prices. Food provided without souses that normally provided only the chicken and French fries. Prices are multiplied by almost three times if you are from GCC
MoreMaybe some expensive but lovely place and classy.... Delicious food as well...
Tried this lebanese restaurant today, we ordered mixed grill, hummus, 2 mango juice, french fries and coke. All costed CHF 83. Food was good, except the juices. They waived off the price of one juice but not for other. That is still alright but paying the huge amount for the quantity given, this does not do much justice. I would only recommend if you are happy to pay around EUR 80 for two people, certainly I was not.
MoreI have been there last night, it was so expensive, and it didnt deserve it.. I have eat with the same price in Luzern a great food with the best service, I didnt like the service tho, I felt that i am not welcome in the restaurant. Thats only my experience.
MoreDecent food, decent service, appetizers were not fresh, bread tasted a bit stale, meats were excellent and excellent seasoning. Would recommend fir people who want decent halal food
MoreTry all of their shwarmas. Also steaks are extremely well done. A warm service by the owner himself! Give it a try if youre a Lebanese food fan
MoreVery nice taboola 13 chfIf you want cheap food order sandwiches very tasty like shish tauoq or kofta sandwich with 8 chf
More120 euros is what U see in the photo and gave us change back shorting us with Swiss francs ,The food was presented in aluminum foil without a plastic bag for the order or oilThe food portion is small and overpriced
MoreA traditional place where you can enjoy a large choice of mezze there or have some tasty take away libanese style. Used to be spicyer and more generous with portions though.
MoreExtremely rude staff!!! They are not bothered about their guests and have a dont care attitude! Quantity of the food is very less and also not cooked properly. Will not recommend anyone going there!!
MoreNo. No. No. We went there and the place was empty. No English menus, and the waiter is saying leave it to me. Mezes were ok but the kebabs were terribly bad. And the price. Extremely expensive and when you ask why the answer is: this is Switzerland. Dont waste your time and money.
MoreThe good thing is Restaurant is clean and staff were welcoming (not really sure about if they serve Halal meat because I didnt double check if they had the certificate). Why I dislike, At start I asked for Arabic or English menu and they said they dont have it, so I trusted the waiter and asked him to bring couple of dishes (which what ever I used to order in any Lebanese restaurant). I was shocked when the total bill came up to be CHF 122 for two person!! I asked the waiter what was the cost of the main dish and he said its CHF 70, so in my mind I thought maybe its Switzerland and everything is expensive here. There was no breakdown of the cost in the bill, I just paid and left the restaurant. Later I checked the reviews and realized thats it over expensive, I mean this is not a restaurant in a 5 star hotel and the food quality is not too high standards. Personally I believe there are many alternative halal food nearby.
MoreThe food was very nice. Welcoming us & service by owner was best I ever experienced, just like a friend welcoming you in his house...
MoreThey overcharge if you do not look at your bill carefully. They charged me CHF 4.50 for a glass of warm water! Yes a glass of normal warm tap water! This is total dishonesty for a person that claims to be Muslim and serving Halal food. When I asked for an invoice he did not bring that, but instead tole me verbally to pay CHF 85.00. I insisted on the tax invoice and it came to CHF 83.50 which included the glass of tap water.I am suspicious about the honesty of this Lebanese owner of the restaurant an their tax morality. Unfortunately it is people like this who give foreigners and especially Muslims a bad name in Switzerland.
Moreif i could give it a zero i would ..the food is basically full of garlic and tasteless it took them 30min to bring the appetizers ..then i had to remind the waiter about our drinks which came after we ate ..we are waiting foe the bill which most reviews said that they are high will see..i wouldnt recommend to any one..
MoreHalal food, the only one in Lucerne it seems. The owner is Lebanese, he confirmed food is halal. The food tastes very good, is authentic to a good degree. The service is with a smile and its not expensive
