Tarquin's Tea Rooms in Bingley

A ridiculous debate (argumentwith the manager about what is or isnt an Americano, which ended in my mum being insulted and us still getting the wrong coffee to that what we ordered. Obviously no apology, just a replacement coffee that wasnt much better. I was going to take a drink from home, but thought it would be nice to get one there. Ill know for next time.

Have a couple of pounds in your pocket if you need to use the loo. You have to order stuff and pay before your allowed to use the toilet, I will never return to this place.

Nice food with great range if ice cream and drinks

Beautiful, little cafe in Myrtle Park, Bingley. Gorgeous ice-creams, great coffee, and food, I had the Mexican wrap today, spicy chicken, cheese and peppers, yum. Served with, fries, guacamole, salsa and sour cream.

Good food, drinks and ambiance

Its a lovely place but I wish it offered a more interesting up to date menu, it would be great to have more healthy, veggie & vegan options.

Lovely coffee (with a Lotus biscuitserved by friendly staff. The take out setup is good as collection is from a different window to where you order/pay. Contactless payments too

Nice food, but a truly disgusting amount of waste. We sat in, drinks in disposable cups, cake and mains in disposable packets with plastic cutlery, and the afternoon tea on a large plastic catering tray with a plastic lid. None of this was necessary, all could have been on plates. For me, this ruined lunch, I wish I had just gone hungry and eaten at home.

Whenever walking round Myrtle Park we always know that we will find a good welcome and friendly service at Tarquins Tea Room.We have been coming down to the park, like many, to walk our dog. We always finish with a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Now that things are opening up more, the range of items on offer has increased and, though we just stick to a shared piece of confection, we are never disappointed. We have also recently discovered, much to our greyhounds delight, that she can also enjoy the delight of a dog sausage. What more could one ask for?Pop along and try; you wont be disappointed.

"Pot" of tea for £1.90 turned out to be a medium takeaway cup made with instant tea that leaked when I tried to drink it.

Lovely place to sit out and eat . Great music plays as you relax. Easy ordering of food and collection. Good sized portions.

Love Tarquins, lovely food & coffee ☕.... & nice to sit outside with a glass of wine, when the sun 🌞 is out ....... friendly staff & of course yummy ice cream & milkshakes for the little ones & adults 😋 lol x

A pleasant place to spend an hour drinking coffee & eating cake

Appalling customer service. Whippy ice cream was sour, owner argued over it, apparently theirs is real ice cream and an ice cream vans isnt? Well Im sorry mate but youre making it with sour cream! Apart from the fact they were not exactly value for money.

RUDE OWNER .. OVER PRICEDwe decided to come to the park today and talked about taking some drinks. but my wife said "No we will go to the cafe instead I bet they struggled with lockdown"my wife and two girls bought 2 cappachinos and 2 icecreams. Cost £15both cappachinos where like cups of hot watery milk no froth and almost No coffee.when I took them back politely pointing this out. I was met with an attitude of , what do you want me to do. its a cappuccino. he said just have a normal coffee then if its milky thats what a cappuccino is. I asked can you just add some coffee too it.he then very reluctantly told the other member of staff to split a shot of coffee between the two coffees.not what you expect when you are supporting a local business after lockdown and pay these silly prices.

Excellent cafe. Great selection of drinks and food. Very safe environment well worth a visit if you are out on a walk.

Lovely quaint tea room in Myrtle Park. A nice variety of sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Designated area to order and pay then a separate area to collect purchases. Friendly staff a chance to sit around the bowling green to consume produce bought.

We had a lovely snack there today so enjoyable and value for money

Always a lovely experience visting Tarquins. Friendly happy staff, great home cooked food and delicious icecreams.

Food was ok and staff pleasant but there was a complete lack of any attempt to encourage social distancing awareness or a concerted effort to clean tables after people left. If this is typical of other Bradford area cafes were all doomed...

Lovely coffee, great choice of ice creams and friendly staff. I had the Blue candyfloss icecream in a waffle cone that was yummy! Also do other drinks including alcoholic slushies, looking forward to a drier and warmer day to try those!

Ordered online from justeat, food came very quickly, was extremely well presented and super tasty. Will definitely order from again/go in person next time in Myrtle Park. Thank you :)

A superb VE Day platter, a great way to celebrate. a wide selection and I was given a choice of sandwiches and wine.

Website Facebook and on here all said opened today a Monday I checked as a Monday in Feb might not be. Decided to walk dog in Bingley by river for a change so I could come to cafe but closed, sign says closed Mon and Tue please update on line. I made a special trip and came home hungry!

I was really desperate for a proper tea, perhaps a scone, and Googled tea rooms in the area I was in. This came up. However, when I got there, they were closing early, apparently because of the rain.Its Yorkshire.....Dont bother going out of your way for this one. If its a wet day, it may not be open.

On a sunny day its the perfect place to sit and enjoy and ice cream. The flavours are amazing!

Had a cuppa and scone here today little one wanted an Eton mess when it came we thought she would need mountaineering gear to get to the top of it well worth the money lovely friendly staff too we will definitely make a point of going back next time we visit Myrtle park.....

Lovely relaxed setting, great sun trap and brilliant fresh food and the home made cakes are just a bit yummi 😋 am working my way through them all. A family run business with a service thats second to none. So far i cant fault it so i am happy to give it 5 stars.

Lovely cafe in the heart of myrtle park in bingley. Always welcoming and lovely staff, I walk past here every day with my daughter and the pooch and popped in today for an ice cream which the kids loved. Lovely and clean and plenty to choose from.
