Favorite restaurant in Berkeley Springs!!! Got the crab dip for a starter and the apple salad and the seafood fettuccini. Food was amazing. Service was great. Thank you!

I think this is my new favorite spot for food in Berkeley Springs! The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all so nice. The atmosphere is lovely as well. I got the veggie naan and a hummus appetizer and the only place I’ve been that had hummus as good was when I was in the Middle East. Highly recommend!!

Everything was delicious, however my friend has a severe gluten allergy and I have a severe peanut allergy. We informed our waitress if these things and were very specific. The appetizer was brought out. We start eating, and a few minutes later the waitress comes back telling us she mixed up the dishes and the dish brought out had gluten. Definitely a scare.

My husband and I visited Taris while we were in Berkeley Springs for the weekend. We both had the grilled cheese and tomato soup since it was pretty cold out. Both were wonderful. I especially loved the goat cheese crumbles on the soup. Would definitely visit again

We had an amazing time at Taris. The food and drink was absolutely delicious, and the employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a perfect night enjoying dining in. Between the special of Blue Crab Alfredo and the Bison Meatloaf, both meals were delicious and a definite re-order!! We also tried some signature cocktails for winter, the sugar cookie martini and the schnickerdoodle, which were both very good without being overly sweet! Would definitely come again!!

Great experience- service and food are both wonderful! We came here today because other restaurants in town were closed or understaffed. My group of picky diners immediately deemed Tari’s an instant favorite!

Excellent service. Food very good. Shrimp bisque was great. Creme Brule was excellent. Try it out.

A friendly & pleasant waiter wouldve greatly helped our experience. Instead, indifference was the attitude. In their defense, they appeared to be short staffed. We spent $200.00 for 4 people, so we felt a bit gipped by the experience there. The food was decent, but not up to the pricing. I might try it again, but Id probably go somewhere else the next time I pass thru Berkeley Springs.

Great food and such a pleasant atmosphere. Everyone seemed to enjoy their work. The Chop Chop salad and pulled pork sandwich were outstanding and the zucchini fries were exceptionally good. Well worth the trip from DC

I came in there on Saturday for a quick drink while I was out running around. The Bartender Tina was amazing. She was attentive, friendly and made sure I had what I needed. This was my first time in your cafe and Tina is the reason why I will be coming back. You definitely know how to hire great employees. Thank you

My partner and I had a delightful lunch at Taris. I had Taris Chop Chop salad. Partner had the pulled pork bbq sandwich. We shared an order of the most amazing zucchini fries. They are so good they could replace french fries.

Good place for dinner in Berkeley springs! The steak was AMAZING and the ship linguine was a tad on the oily side but good otherwise!

Always have a pleasant dining experience at Tari’s. Cuisine is tasty, but a tad pricey for the small town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Love supporting small town business.

I got the wild boar chili, and "The Legend" burger. my wife got gluten free fish tacos. all food was amazing! The burger had pickled onions, burnt ends, and sliced cherry peppers on it. the best eats we had on Berkeley Springs.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Some of the best food my wife and I have ever eaten. A small but amazing menu with a good mixture of killer BBQ and other cuisine. The lettuce wraps are amazing!!

Pretty good local dining. A shame that they were out of quite a few things, but what they did have was good. Only suggestion is to have a new menu with whats available and greens as a side option.

Super disappointed arrived at 11:30 am for lunch with my aunt and wife, received a very cold welcome to the neatly empty restaurant. Server was indifferent to us or the table service. Crab soup listed as “almost famous” was “almost cold.” We did not make a fuss, taris salad was mushy and unimaginative with wilted ingredients from soggy croutons to tough pork. Fish tacos were shrimp wrapped in cold tortillas. Server made no attempt to engage and could have cared less. This was a special occasion and I could’ve chosen any of the fine dining in Berkeley Springs. Such a disappointment. From one business owner to another, Whoever owns and manages this restaurant needs to pay close attention to the servers attitude and what’s rolling out of that kitchen. I paid a 20% tip for indifferent service, I’m not sure we even got a thank you. Shame.

Wow, this place is amazing! Taris Cafe is a must visit in Berkeley Springs. The food is excellent and Mark, our server is a true professional. I highly recommend the Chop Chop salad and the Tiger shrimp.

Not sure why this place promotes itself as a "premier" cafe. I was seated by the host, who proceeded to literally throw the silverware and plastic covered menu on the table covered with a cheap plastic tablecloth and walked away. I sat for 5 more minutes till someone put a glass of ice water on the table, also walked away without a glance or a word. The salmon was well cooked, but thats pretty much all I can say in their favor. Just nice food, without the premier experience. Didnt feel welcome or appreciated as a guest. Maybe because I was a one top. Wont be back.

We had an amazing meal at Tari’s. Too many choices to pick because it all sounds amazing. Settled on a steak for me and pulled pork bbq burger for my husband and we were both mooning over the food. They also make an amazing Moscow Mule that had a great true ginger taste to it. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic service and food was delish! I enjoyed the lettuce wrap appetizer for a meal which was perfect portions for me. The noodles were on point and really enjoyed the peanut sauce. My party also enjoyed their meals with no complaints amd all smiles. Cant wait to return!

If youre in Berkeley Springs, you must stop at Taris for lunch or dinner. Right on the main drag, Taris serves fresh, high quality foods with a sophisticated and delicious menu. We sat in the bar area which has a really relax cool vibe, sort of hipster mixed with artsy, local vibes.Ive travel to a f ton of places and lived in a few counties outside of the USA, and I must say their Farmers Market Linguine might have been one of the best dishes Ive ever had. Might sound like a hype but its true.

Excellent service. Pet friendly and great food. We got their naan salad dish and piggy back burger. Both were excellent.

Great lunch experience! Started with Crab dip which was actually cheese and crab whipped into a light and delicious spread served with made-to-order old bay chips. Wow! Couldn’t figure out how to lick the dish in public and maintain my dignity. Followed by French dip sandwich equally as flavorful. Wait staff was very attentive and never let our beverages empty.

We were in Cacapon State Park doing some mountain biking and decided to go into Berkeley Springs to have dinner and I am glad we did.This place has amazing food! We got the NY Strip steak and the Braised Shrimp dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender. It had an amazing sauce on top! Yum! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the homemade slaw made a good side. We will definitely be back to this place.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch so much that we returned the next day for our anniversary dinner! We had the pleasure of having Mark serve us both times, and we have absolutely no complaints. The crab fondue is AMAZING and coming from a Baltimore girl, thats saying something. The steak melted in our mouths and the dessert was delightful.

This is my second time in 1 week to visit West Virginia. This visit was promising. Welcome back West Virginia.The kitchen deserves a crown. The food is unbelievable. For appetizers we had the Our Almost Famous Cream of Crab soup and the Warm House Made Pimento Cheese. And let’s not forget the fried zucchini with their special sauce. The hamburger was like none other. The mozzarella cheese, pulled pork and Angus beef complimented each other. The hamburger was delicious and messy. I am lucky I walked out with 10 fingers. And, the portobello cheese steak was outstanding. However, the dining room was a total disaster. Whoever designed the dining room did an absolutely terrible job. You can’t even see the table next to you, although we were sitting at a table by the front window. What are you hiding Tari? It is like eating in a cave. And, the service is mediocre at best. Putting aside the weaknesses, the chef and his crew definitely deserve 5 stars.

We stopped here for lunch when we were passing through on a (frequently drivenroad trip. We will definitely stop again! Wonderful service and the food was very good. The place was very clean, also. My salad was large and fresh. I had my young children with me and they happily accommodated us and our requests. We really enjoyed this stop and our lunch, and we will be back!

Such a yummy lunch spot with great service and a good bar. Would have loved a better beer selection but the food is phenomenal!

Been to Taris so many times at this point I might as well move to Berkeley Springs and only eat here. The food and cocktails are all fantastic and flavorful. Im especially a fan of the apple butter related dishes when those come around.

Not a bad spot to grab a bite to eat.First place that I saw with a respectable sign that talks about buying what you touch, which is in fact under addressed in businesses in general these days. Stop the food fondlers!

We had a nice dinner here on Sunday night of a long weekend.Their menu has lots of choices from BBQ to seafood.We had the mussels and crab cakes. The crab cakes were very meaty and not much breading. Very tasty, especially with a side salad. The mussels were good but in a red sauce with crab, Parmesan cheese, meat and bacon?! A lot going on in that dish (hard to taste the actual mussels).Four stars because the food just wasn’t HOT when served. It was warm - warm enough where you either had to eat it now and quickly - or send it back?! Reheating mussels isn’t really a good thing.A nice place to enjoy a meal in town.

This is another amazing restaurant and bar.Plenty of dining room seating as well as bar seating.Clean, friendly, and inviting.The food was delicious and very generous portions. Staff is excellent and friendly making you feel like a local.

Delicious as always!!! The Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich was by far the best Ive ever had! Spicy enough to balance out the tang and sweetness from the bbq sauce, but not so spicy it wasnt enjoyable. Finished it off with a slice of the peanut butter pie!

Wow! What a great find! This restaurant has THE BEST food and such a wonderful friendly vibe. We were out for a drive after leaving Winchester and just happened upon this restaurant.The french dip and fries were the best! We enjoyed our crab soup and the chocolate peanut butter pie was the best Ive ever had.We live in Harrisonburg VA...we are already thinking of making the drive out there again!Well be back! Highly recomnend.

By recommendation of the ladies at the Renaissance Spa, we came here to have lunch. Definitely worth the walk from there. I started with a hot caramel cider which hit the spot on a damp day, shared an order of zucchini fries with aioli (the picture shows a few leftand was amazed to see the entrees. I ordered the meatloaf...loved it. Bbq, onions...did not even need the bread for the sandwich...delicious! Definitely will eat there when back in the area. The bbq offerings they had on their menu all looked good...one by one I will try them all!!

Great Staff, pork chop and chicken (Pomodorowere incredibly tender and juicy. Huge portions. Hubby and I couldnt eat it all. Clean.

The service was excellent although they sat us in the bar vs main dining room. Friends were looking forward to a margarita and not ones for alcohol abuse (not finishingtwo of the three didnt finish a $11 drink the third only finished cause she didnt want to waste her money. Based on recommendation from server we all had seafood dishes. It was a consensus among us all the food lacked seasoning. I will not say it was bad just not very good, specially for the cost a lot of money for mediocre food. If Im ever back in the area I woul not come back nor would I recommend.

Great place to eat. Love their daily specials, great customer service. This dinner we had their beef ribs...amazing! Clean rest rooms, comfy atmosphere and great vegetarian options as well.

Good food, cool atmosphere. Hubbys burger had a few too many onions but easily fixed. I got the bbq pork without the bun, good, does have a twang to it, the coleslaw cooled it down for me, was bummed to get a huge chunk of fat but again easily remedied.

The food was incredible!! service just right,I ordered a NY strip steak,it was one of the best steaks I ever had,the crab soup which was also delicious, the bartender was down to earth, I will definitely return to this restaurant/bar, the steak was so tender you can cut it with a fork.. just delicious..

Quaint little cafe with great service and delicious food. I am allergic to wheat and they were able to accommodate! Glad we found it along our travels.
