Tarbush - Restaurant in Dumaguete, Philippines
I ordered a kebab from Tarbush through Grab, and taste wise, it didnt disappoint. The ingredients were just right, and the garlic sauce was as it should be.Id add a star if the food hadnt been too cold, which seeing the delivery was just 1 km away, was a pity.
September 2022⭐Places change over time. Lack of maintenance, funding pivots, or simply loss of interest. I was at Tarbush 2 years ago and returned for a meal there recently. The interiors are literally broken down and possibly not cleaned in all that time. Grubby sticky menu with most doses not available.I couldnt wait to get out.2 years ago 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐Saturday night lots of customers, rotating tables quickly and Food Panda motors lined up outside. Expectations are high and hoping for authentic Lebanese food. My 12 inch (p180falafel sandwich was totally yum. Extensive menu of food and drinks. Help yourself to fresh water and coffee. High hope achieved. Ill be returning to try the dips and salads. Tabouleh, fattoush, tarama s, Baba g and humus all there waiting.
Good food but limited menu.
This place used to be good.It has gone downhill since.Half of the menu is not available. And despite the restaurant being empty, we waited a long time for our simple dish. And dont come near to the CR
Very Good Food.
Very good as always , wish they would add kibi to the menu ( beef )
Suprising that the food was great!
Super amazing restaurant, nearby the university and far price especially for students with limited budget.
If you’re looking for a place to smoke shisha, I wouldn’t recommend this place. You have to pay for the charcoal for 35 pesos each. They are not using the disposable pipes which means you are sharing the pipes with other people as well. Hygiene wise, is very poor. I asked for a filter, unfortunately, they don’t have one.- Seating arrangement are very congested as well.- No wifi.- AC is not reaching on other tables. Reason why they asked me to move to different table 3 times.- staffs are not proactive. Customer service is very poor.
beef shawarma here is amazing. customer service is great. 😊👍
I enjoyed the Taboulah salad, was out for a walk and thought Id stop in and get takeout. I was surprised to find out that they do not accept credit/debit cards. With Covid a lot of establishments take cards as a precaution.
Ordered cancelled without informing the customers. Ordered last 25th may but up to date 10th june still no refund from both parties tarbush and food panda received to my bank account. I will delete my bad comments if i will receive the refund...
Ordered a beef kebab and I swear I have eaten a better microwave food than what they serve. The waitress informed us itll take 20-25 mins so I expected a fresh piece of kebab and sides. 30 mins later was given a very dry beef kebab and a terrible pile of rice. Such waste of time and food.
The Arab Shawarma platter is a must try!
very underrated, the owner knows how to get solid branding, food selection is awesome spas well, i always go often... i love youe food guys, i kept trying new menus cause its sooo good, i feel like my taste fits more on lebanese thanamerican or filipino food..
They definitely jacked up the prices here since May. The humus is very good but too much at 345 pesos. The baba ganoush is 360 and pricey. The taboulle is 440! Nachos are 415, the high prices are endless. This will be my only visit, theres better and much cheaper. We are here at almost 6pm and the only ones here, Im not curious as to why after looking at the prices in the menu.
I love everything on the menu. Everything is delicious and very reasonable price. Also, the ambiance is so chill.
A Lebanese kind of pita and hummus that fits the Filipino palate
Got 260php combo for small gyro with fries and a coke. There were 5 fries, like 5 actual tiny fries, along with a warm 200ml Coke in a glass without ice.Fries were just oily and over cooked, gyro was basic, Coke tiny and warm. Took about 30 minutes to get the food as well so it’s not “fast food” either. I was still hungry.Way too expensive for Dumaguete, you could eat at a real decent restaurant anywhere else for that much money, but better off just going to an eatery for 70php.Worst Lebanese food I’ve ever had.
The only place I could find in the city that sells hookah. Strange atmosphere to smoke hookah but good sisha atleast. Can’t complain . Price isn’t bad either
Authentic Lebanese cuisine.
Shisha is available here😍Just make sure that there is no kids inside 🙋♂️
Updated review:This place used to be good. Now the service takes too long and the food is mediocre. I do not know what happened, but they just do not taste the same anymore. Again and again though, if it takes too long to serve, then theres something wrong.
The mango shake is very big and delicious.$150 pesos to.
I really love their shawarma 💖 lots of beef!!!
Ok for a quick bite, closes at 11:PM they specialize in shawarma but no lamb shawarma. Its ok, nothing to brag about not expensive.
Their Biryani and shawarma is heavenly. You cant find similar in Negros... Halal beef and Chicken as well.
Its cozy and the service is fast. And i love authentic shawarma. Bon appetit!
Excellent chicken briyani but the service was quite slow due to lack of manpower
If you want middle eastern food then this is a probable go to. Pleasant customer service. She knows the dishes they offer. And they close at 12 mn.
It was a okish restaurant in my experience. The food was okish and the service as well. We had biriyani and a kebab platter.
These food are too big for me. Ill be so full. This tasty white sauce is garlic taste. But,when I ate Kabab Beef, the sauce was cheese taste:-o I prefer it.
Great food! Best shawarma ive tasted. Would definitely say that i had the best value for my money. The staff were nice as well. Id recommend anyone going to Dumaguete City to go here. One of the most unique food experience ive ever been to.Great place, great food. Cheers.
usually OK, good Mediterranean food. But they are very slow on Sundays. Only one waitress and many customers
Delicious food! Although we found some cockroaches roaming around when we came. Overall a nice place to stay and dine.
Excellent shawarma, kebabs and various wraps. The food is fresh and tasty. What a joy to find this wonderful place in the city of gentle people.
The best Shawarma Ive ever had. Ordered a chicken shawarma and it was love at first bite (especially when paired with the yogurt sauce). Kudos to the chef who stayed true to his Lebanese roots. There are many options to choose from in the menu too, with creative options like a hawaiian-styled shawarma with pineapples. Cant wait to go back and try the rest!Despite the slow service, the food definitely made it worth the wait.Staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is spacious and cozy. TVs, air-conditioning and wifi are a plus.
There are days that most food and drinks in the menu are not available. The food is good and has a generous serving size. Price is high for some food though, so better go for any of their shawarmas which you will not regret buying.
Food is really nice and affordable
Nice place to chill quick wifi, the AC is terrible tho. The food is not bad but dry, the garlic sauce and hot makes up for the dryness. Cool dude service is nice 1bush can stuff you up especially the chubby beef for 90 pesos a go-to place to eat at.
Fast friendly service. Very good food. Best shawarma I have every had. I recommend everyone needs to try it. Thanks Jeff U.S.A.
As far as Middle Eastern food this place is awesome. The owner knows his cooking. The atmosphere is casual and the prices are reasonable. From time to time they run specials. Make sure you try their apetizers.
Best Lebanese food in town. The spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite. I could eat it everyday. Try it out :)
the shawarma has huge serving but tastes like the original salty turkish one. manilans who are so much accustomed to shawarma that suits the local taste buds might not like this one. served with cold fries and a bland mayo. with acceptable customer service.
One of the best shawarma in duma 😭😭😭
Im off to my hometown and went here to dumaguete and I see this walking distance from my place that I stayed and I really love the food, its a different from other shawarma wrap, so authentic you need to try this :)
Youll surely love this place! They offer different tastes of shawarma. If youre into new twists and changes, drop by here when in Dumaguete.
If youre craving for a shawarma this is the place. Nice and cozy with a nice selection of shawarma and other menu items.
Turkish / Jordanian Shawarma, close to how it should be as maintained by the owner. Deliciously served and prepares by well trained staff. Good place to eat shawarma or hummus when youre craving for it. Beef, chicken & vegetarian options available. Reliable wifi. Open until late (11pm)
Nice shawarma but not as good as the real one with lamb meat
