Middle Eastern eatery offering traditional entrees & fusion fare in a relaxed storefront setting.
Best Middle Eastern food in Northeastern Ohio. A hidden gem! I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve ever ordered from Tarboosh and the staff are warm and welcoming.
Hot food and absolutely delicious! Im sad we just discovered this and cant wait to come back and try more things!
Delicious authentic Mediterranean food ! Always a great meal here whether take out or dine in .
Stopped for takeout when we were in the area, and so glad we did! We got several items to try and everything was really good. They were very nice to deal with. Very patient and helpful since we were unsure what we wanted to order. Will be back!!
Best Middle Eastern food, reminds me of my childhood. As youd expect this to be. Excellent. Many veg options. Im from Canton and lived in So. Cal. 45 years, and still this is the best, authentic.
Amazing authentic middle eastern food. Friendly owners that knows the regulars. I would drive far to get Tarboosh.
Food was bombbbb😍 LentilSoup was made from pure love! This was my first time having it and I will be returning🥰
Great food.excited to try it again. It has become a favorite. We are going to go through the menu.
Our favorite restaurant. Best baba anywhere. Excellent hummus. Great many vegan options. And, of course, wonderful owners and staff. Best Lebanese food in Northeast Ohio.
Probably best middle eastern I had in Cleveland area. The leaves are wonderful and the kaftas are juicy and perfectly spiced. Need to come back for falafel.
This place has the best falafel in the cleveland area. My hubby also likes their grape leaves
fantastic food and incredible service.Had the beef kafta, dolma, pita and mint tea- sad it was too late in the evening for me to have the Turkish coffee!Owners were super accommodating and were so humble to ask if I made a mistake with how much I tipped! Haha!Great Lebanese food.
Amazing food that you would come over and over again, very friendly owners.
Our family loves this place. Very friendly always and the food is excellent. I catch myself thinking about the Lebanese rice pudding a lot....
The best food ever, clean restaurant and great customer service, I encourage everyone to try their delicious Midditernean dishes.
Really excellent Middle Eastern food prepared and served by a dedicated Mom-and-Pop team that are delighted to share their cultures food with you. Very fresh, thoughtful pairings, cheerful service. Will be back whenever in the area. Really really good falafel.
Itty bitty portions and very dry chicken.
Nice family-owned eatery with an interesting selection of Middle Eastern dishes. Owners are really friendly and the food is good.
Delicious, fresh, and authentic Mediterranean food! I can tell everything I’ve ever ordered is made from scratch. Menu includes vegetarian and vegan options, too. The service is excellent and the restaurant is exceptionally clean. This is a must have been f you like Mediterranean food! Highly recommend!
Delicious food, a nice healthier alternative to all the greasy fast food in the area. The family running it was very kind as well. I will always support local businesses like these - good prices as well.
Recently I decided to try Tarboosh because the place I usually go to get beef shawarma and tabouli was closed, and I was very disappointed. The meat was skimpy, salty, and did not seem to be good quality at all. The veggies on it were really sad, and I could hardly tell they were there. The tabouli was super bland, and there was lettuce in the bottom of the container, seemingly as a filler. Everything tasted “old,” not fresh at all. I’m gonna stick with my usual place, which is more reasonably priced and more tasty!
Delicious, fresh and a warm inviting place that I recommend with open heart. I am glad that I finally found time to try it this well done lebanese cuisine. I will return for sure for more very soon. If you go, please dont forget to try dessert too baklava and namoura, yummy!!!
You THINK you had the BEST HUMMUS in town until you tried Tarboosh HUMMUS. Creamy and flavorful! I could eat it EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!! Generous portions of food and the real deal!!! Its not the commercial Lebanese food! It truly is the REAL DEAL! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Great food, great service, by great people. You will be hard pressed to find people as nice as the ones here, and that kindness translates into delicious food. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
Seems like a small, family owned restaurant. I thought the prices were great! $6 for a falafel sandwich. $9 for a sampler platter with 4 appetizers. The food was good, but classic Mediterranean
The best falafel I have ever had It’s so delicious 😋😋
It is AMAZING resturant. The staff are very respectful and kind. They helped me to setup my party decorations. Their food is so delicious. I love it. Thank Tarboosh 😊
We have gotten take out from here twice. Everything we have gotten had been excellent. Nice portion size as well. Although its a bit far away for us, we will courier to make the trip!
Great portion sizes, friendly staff, and have yet to find anything on the menu that hasn’t been delicious. They have the best hummus I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Tarboosh.
The absolute worst experience Ive had eating Mediterranean food in my life. Charged 14 dollars for a Greek salad, chicken was terribly overcooked, salad had dismal toppings. If I could give negative stars I would.
Atmosphere is simple and nice. Seems like a small family business, and they are pleasant people. Weve eaten here several times and each time was consistently good. Portions could be a little bigger for the price, but that may be an unfair comparison to Aladdins where the portions are huge. Do give them a try sometime, I think youll be pleasantly surprised. I grew up in this area in the 70s-80s and we had nothing like this back then. Really glad to see more varied ethnic restaurants in Parma/VII Hills!
This is a great lttle local gem. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine (Aladdinsthen youll like this place. There were only a few people in the place when we went. But there was a lot of takeout going out. The food was really good and came fast. And the service was great. Will definately come back.
I had the special today very small portion the salad mix was tbl spoon size rip off
So service was nice. Lentil soup was good but was not impressed by the kabob sandwich. I guess I’m used to getting bigger size portions so to me it was really small. It tasted really good however.
My husband and I were extremely disappointed with the food I order chicken tawook and it had no flavor at all, portions was very small for the price of $14.99 my husband order a different chicken plate which he couldnt eat the chicken was over cooked and tested old, so we ended up switching plates, Overall the food has nothing to do with Middle Eastern Food, the food its definitely not worth the price andwe were very unsatisfied with the food except for the hummus. We saw their advertised in New Day Cleveland and drove for an 1hr in 20 minutes to get there, Never again!
This is a hidden gem! Besides the usual middle eastern offerings there were a number of things on the menu I hadnt seen before including a couple of unusual drinks like the salty yogurt, or the date/raisin/rosewater, and a variety of salads and main courses. The vegetarian and vegan offerings are good, and the meat kabobs well-prepared and juicy.
I recently started going to Tarboosh and I regret not going there sooner. The food is delicious. The Jerusalem falafel rolled up in a tortilla was great, just the right amount of heat. Ive also had grandmas spicy chick pea salad, I think that might be my new favorite. The restaurant is very clean and is much larger than it appears from the outside. The owners are also very nice and helpful.
Best grape leaves I have ever eaten. The rest of the food is scrumptious, too. I will be back when I return to this area in a few weeks. I really loved the falafel and the rice pilaf meal I had, too.
I went there for the first time and ordered the lentil soup, falafel, and a kefta roll sandwich. Mind you, I’m not new to this type of food so here’s my review of each food- lentil soup was ok, bland for my taste but still enjoyable . The falafel was excellent but did not come with the usual sauce! The Kafta roll was below average. It was like they through it together on a pita bread. The kafta rolls from other establishments have always been fantastic. The service that was provided was good (take outbut when I got home I noticed that the falafel’s were thrown into a brown bag instead of a container, so that was a little disappointing. All together was looking for a better experience with the food that I do enjoy to eat. Maybe next time.
Fantastic authentic Lebanese food! Chicken shwarma platter was the best! The owners/staff are the warmest, nicest people, they make you feel welcome from the minute you walk in. Wonderful place, will definitely return!
This place is fantastic! The food is so fresh, it’s like you are visiting their home kitchen. The fattoush and Grandma’s chick pea salad really showcase freshness as the herbs and vegetables aren’t in the least soggy. Shawarma and Jerusalem falafel are the best in town as well. I’ve never made it to dessert because i’ve been too full. The place is also spotless. Just notice the wooden window sill up front that actually shines. I just can’t imagine how often that is cleaned. Clearly the owners care about this place and it shows in the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food.
Always love coming here. The best Lebanese food I’ve ever had, hands down. I can’t even pick what my favorite is! Love having so many tasty vegan options
Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Menu prices are very reasonable. Mix of middle eastern and American menu choices.
Oh my goodness. I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is excellent. Today was my first visit here, and my mom and I decided to get some food. My mom ordered the Sumac Chicken sandwich (its on pita bread, you can get it regular or spicy--she got it spicy), it was very good, but too spicy for her (I personally didnt find it to be spicy, but Im used to spicy things). I ordered the shawarma platter (you can get beef or chicken, I ordered beef), it was very flavorful! You can get rice or fries with it, and as much as I love rice, I decided for fries. We both got lentil soup on the side, which was also good. We also got the Lebanese Rice Pudding, and let me tell you, I have never been a fan of rice pudding (my mom as well), but this was fantastic. Sweet and creamy! We also got Namoura--which is a pastry made with semolina and has clotted cream in it. It has a very indescribable taste, its sweet but yet very very good. To me, it tastes a bit like baklava, but with a slight difference. Will definitely be back!
Food was great. I had the tawook with fries. Pretty good combo actually. Place was clean and not too busy when we went so we were lucky.
Been here a few rimes now, and the real-deal Turkish coffee keeps me comin boi. This isnt just a "dime a dozen" kind o joint, its a real standout Mid-East spot. I havent tried the lamb yet, but my favorites are the beef kebab platter, Jerusalem falafel, and the unique dessert puddings. Clean and comfy, and the usual hostess is a true sweetie
Great selection of food, and everything was noticeably fresh (ingredients and meals). Lentil soup was amazing, some of the best hummus I have tried, and everything else was good as well. Very friendly service. Will be back to try other options!
The food is fantastic!! I was a regular customer until I heard my favorite server, Bella, is no longer employed there. Now I just stop in every once in a while. The food is still delicious. I highly recommend the Lebanese burritos and the classic baba and hummus. Totally better than Aladdins!!!
I dont know how this place wasnt packed with people. I got the number two appetizer to try them out and I was floored. The food is very fresh, very well made , and very authentic. Service was pretty good too. Cant wait to go back for the whole meal.
Positive experience all around. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. This was the first time I tried babba and it was delicious. The hummas has more tahini in it than what I am used to, but I now prefer it that way. They will be seeing quite a bit more of me in their establishment. If you want a more Lebanese food experience, I would recommend trying Tarboosh. You will not be disappointed. Dont forget about the desserts.
