Excellent service from our waitress the food was great and our waitress was always checking on us she made sure we were comfortable and constantly checking on us I didnt get her name but it was Friday September 9 at 4:00 pm it was 8 of us a together 5 kids 3 adults she was awesome thank you

Worst experience ever !!!! Waited 1 hour to be attended and served drinks and another hour for food which was ready when we were leaving already !!! Sassy waitresses and no set waiter for table !! I do not reccomend😠😠😠 you want a good fast bite go to huertas in indio 😀

This is the second time I have been to San Miguel. First time was a great experience. Second time was horrible. I had the enchiladas. They were dry and had no flavor. Husband had carne asada plate. Same thing. Dry and no flavor, said meat tasted old. Friend had aqua Chile. She couldnt even eat it. Mostly onion and cucumber. Will not return.

It was my first time here but did not have a good experience. There was only a couple of tables and the service was AWFUL we lasted 3 hours and I want to say there was about 3 tables including us. To order took forever to get our food took forever not to mention food isnt that good, its more of the hype at least on what I had. The three aguachiles plate only has about 5 shrimp on each lil tray it was more of onion and cucumber I will provide a picture. The Aguas frescas were really good though tried the pepino(cucumberand the fresh lemonade 👌 the lemonade was a lil sweet to my liking but still good theres no refills though.

The food is good! But! The last time I ate there I got food poison. I was really sick and has to go to urgent care. Buyer beware!

The place it is getting kind of expensive and serves are charging more with no reason whatsoever. I had called the place to get my money that I been over charged with no answer.

The worst torta I ever had. The meat was dry, the bread was stale, and the taste wasgreasy. To top that off the price was no where near the value. You are better off eating a $12 meal at a restaurant than this place (seriously). Im shocked on how high the ratings are. This restaurant can do much better.

Great service, great food. My recommendation is to try the mariscos like deep fried tilapia, shrimp cocktail or campechana. I gave 4 stars because the ice tea was horrible.

Were here and service is terrible. I had to flag server down to place our food order.The excuse is that theyre short staff but yet orders to go are priority. Its gonna take 30mins for us to get our food.. servers seem more happy and friendly and attentive to drinking males

I just ordered food from there a couple of minutes ago, a carne asada burrito and a chicken quesadilla, i took the food home and as i was eating the quesadilla i felt a plastic texture as i was chewing, so i spit my food out into my hands and i see that there sure enough was a piece of plastic in my food. Seems a bit unsanitary and questionable how none of othe cooks saw that, how does that happen?

This has to be the grossest burrito Ive ever had. It was nothing but fat and cartilage and greasy. Very disappointed.

I used to come here religiously. Their quality of food has lessen. When you sit down you have a busser offer food and appetizers. But you cannot order anything else with them. Nothing at all. Because the premadonna servers are the only ones allowed to take orders. Its obsurd. I was annoyed at the fact that our server was not a good server. When I ordered my daughter a fruit cocktail the server said oh its not a cocktail its a fruit cup. When we received it, it was the preserved fruit from the can! With 2 Marchinno cherries from the bar! It was embarrassing and to top it off.... the server wanted to have a back and forth about his description of the fruit cup! Very low class! And they still charged me! I did not mind paying our $88 check I left an $18 tip and I will never return! Also just because Im of Hispanic race the server did not serve me as they did other table (a white coupleI will not ever go through this again

Food was not as good. I ordered a molcajete and it was DRY! I asked for more salsa to put more in the molcajete and I got charged for it, but why? If the molcajete was very very dry!! Rice is made with tomatoe paste!! I had to stand up because I had no spoon. Bad review.

Delicious authentic food. So many choices, and everything is delicious! Fun cocktails, an upside Corona in a Margarita?! Our new favorite!

Wow! Doesnt look like much from the outside but this place was awesome! Huge menu- unique drinks, lots of seafood, lots of different menu items. Not your typical Mexican dishes. Loved it! Will definitely be back!

I was skeptical, but we decided to go. We show up and at first view, all good, good music, not too busy. I ordered a Patron Margarita, and it was good. So then since I was not too hungry I decided to get half a dozen oysters. They arrive, and they are the scariest looking oysters I had ever seen. They were tiny and even a little dry. Needless to say, I didnt eat them AT ALL... didnt want to try. So I just decide to hang out, since the people I accompanied were still eating their food. Out of nowhere I see a cockaroach walking under the table next to us. A big one, the type that crunch when you step on them. I lift my feet onto the booth infront of me, since I hate them, and my jeans on the knee part get gum stuck on them. I was laughing because I was having a horrible experience. Suddenly I see another table call for the waitress discreetely, and she gets a broom and dust pan. Sure enough, a cockaroach... but smaller than the one we had originally seen. We decided to pay and judt walk away. Honestly, if it wasnt for the amazing team, whose customer service skills are amazing, I would be rating lower...

Very Clean... Comfortable seating...Huge food menu, Huge Drink Menu, beer, wine, margaritas and tons of tequila to choose from. Lots of seating and large booths. Great authentic Mexican food. AWESOME place in cathedral city for eating, drinking, watching T.V.

We have been here over seven times! The food has never failed us at once. This is the only restaurant that I can safely say makes good food every single time. That is the best I can say for all the restaurants that I have ever been to, this one is just good every time.

I heard nothing but good things about taqueria san miguel. Little did I know that I went to the wrong one! DO NOT GO TO THE CAT CITY LOCATION. Worst service, food was ok and drinks were whack, definitely seemed watered down. 3 female workers standing around avoiding eye contact. Im not one to throw race into everything but even though the servers are Hispanic, they definitely served the white ppl better. It was kind of infuriating to see how much better they got treated and how quickly they were serviced. If I could Id give this 0 stars

So good! I had the oysters, fish salad and chili relleno. Everything was super good.The shells for the oysters could have been cleaner but the oysters were clean and delicious.

Bomb bomb bomb bomb. Had it Saturday and had to have it Sunday before returning home to orange. Definitely try. I know there might be a wait. Just get a drink and wait. Its worth it haha

We come here often. He have ordered pretty much everything on the menu and it is really good except the chiles rellenos this last visit for some reason my wife did not like them at all so I shared my carne asada with her. We told the waiter and I was disappointed he just shugged it off and charged me for them which is ok maybe its just a different style my wife is not used to and other people might love them. Seemed kind of pricy this time 3 plates guac and 2 tacos for my kid. 2 drinks 2 sodas. $130 after tip. I should. Have checked my bill maybe a paid someone elses beer? Anyways i like coming here so I will be back and I will check my bill

Best homemade, Mexican food! Crispy chicken tacos, rice is unbelievable!!! Salas I take home a huge bucket. Very good ! On date palm, a bit of a drive but well worth it!!! They will come to your car for ordering and delivery right now. Superb customer service and food that melts in your mouth

We are in town at the Oasis RV resort and wanted Mexican food. Checked on reviews and found this place. Great food and friendly service. I had the Camarones Ranchero and my wife had the flautas with verse sauce. Some of the best Mexican food we ever had.

Freshly prepared Mexican food with friendly service. The seating area is divided into one room with dining booths, with another room having a bar with seating. On weekends live music is offered.

Delicious food! If you love mariscos (Mexican style seafoodandmexican food in general you will love this place. First iffbi like the big booths on the bar side. Nice large bar area. Great salsa (spicyand chips. Had the El Torre without mango. Best ceviche I have had in a long time. Large generous portion with aguachiles ceviche shrimp and scallops with perfect lime flavor. Alhambre was awesome. Meat and cheese with warm tortillas. Was stuffed. Couldnt eat it all. Prices are more then most but food is great quality and large portions.

As always, I love the food. But, this is the second time I get a rude waitress, rolling her eyes because we were asking what was in certain items off the menu. Not all of the waitress are the same but Julia wasnt making us feel like we wanted to stay. She was in a hurry to take our order and anxious to walk away. After a while she began to act nicer towards us. But what was the use, if she had already ruined our experience. The manager is the best there and the food is delicious but they really need to fire these rude women that arent happy with their jobs. I hope they start to hire more professional waitress.

One of my few Five star ratings. This is a great authentic experience. The food here is through the roof good. Service has always been good here. If you ever go in ask for Gabriel he is the man top notch. Ill be back again and again.

The Coachella valley needs more restaurants like this! Taqueria San Miguel has really good food and drinks but most of all I LOVE THE ATTITUDE THAT ALL THE EMPLOYEES HAVE. Theyre always nice and ready to serve you with a smile-Its the best Mexican place around HANDS DOWN!

This is among our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The lunch specials are all excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The place is always busy, which is a sign of how good it is.The only thing I would change, or add, would be to have an option of a mild salsa with the chips. We really cant eat their salsa because it is so hot.Otherwise, there isnt much to complain about.Someday we will try some of their happy hour drinks!

Great food, shrimp cocktail the best ever. Good drinks. Must of came at a weird time(happy hour), it was not busy but had to flag down people to get service. Seemed like there was confusion in bar vs restaurant as to who had us..Bartender is very nice, but servers? Couldnt say. The bar decor is very cool too. We will be back, but well make sure we know who our server is. Going to give the busboy/bar back $5.00 as he was the only one that actually came by and asked us how we were doing. Im guessing after 5 is when to come here there are people all over the place now..
