Badly staffed and the owner zeus is a clout chaser and a pervs on young girls he begs famous people, but doesnt let black women in, they leave you outside standing there for an hour to tell you know, people like this hate themselves thats why they aim to make others feel bad about themselves. They only let in white girls for arab men and rappers. zeus discriminates against black women its absolutely shocking because the owner is black and begs black rappers to be in his club but wont let allot of darker skinned black women in. I really hope this club closes because its blatantly racist and thats the problem with black men they hate black women its a laughing stock why everyone laughs at black people look how the men treat black women. please do not go to this club.

Security team was really patient, I’m impressed! Vibe was good!Took a little a long time to get in despite having a table, which result in missing the performance on 7th anniversary. :(

Don’t even go here on Tuesday. It was a my friend birthday and after diner at the maine we wanted to keep celebrating her birthday and went there. We waited 50 minutes and in the end we left. They don’t explain anything and they only keep u waiting. I will never go here even in other days of the week.

Awesome ... Such an experience when I went there. Loved the live set of music and the ambience was superb. Was a little difficult to get in, but once in was absolutely perfect for a clubbing night.

My friend and I was in Tape for Halloween and can not tell you how rude the staff are, from the girl on the door to the non stop staff walking into you or forcing themselves through you on the "dance floor" 🤔 kept just being pushed about by them,told to move evne tho there was no space, awfully overcrowded they let too many people in, it was awful.The only nice staff was the girl that took photos thats about it.Do not recommend at all, go somehere good.

I had a really good night with my friends, the music was spot on and the hostess that took me down to my friends table was really friendly. The staff out the front was very welcoming and the staff on the table made sure my drink was always topped up. 5 star

Went once on a Saturday night, and it was a really nice experience. The staff was overly helpful and attentive to me and my friends. Lulu (clockroom manwas very patient and nice to us. He’s doing a hard job and he’s doing it very nicely! Also, the security guard were super kind looking after my friends while we waited for the Uber

Booked through a useless promoter who was no help sending us back and forth instead of actually being of assistance. Travelled all the way from Leeds, booked 2 tables and getting there in good time adhering to the dress code also, was denied entry yesterday for being at full capacity 🤨 whilst still allowing people in groups to line up in both lines instead of turning them away(makes no sense). Was asked irrelevant questions to do with my entry and was looked up and down as if I was being assessed. Overall just wasn’t the greatest experience. I don’t wanna say it was racially fuelled however I don’t think I’m far off. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!

My friends and I were put on the guest list through a promoter however this female with a clipboard told us we were unable to go inside despite being on the guest list because they were prioritising regulars. She was very rude and condescending, even when we were walking away the bouncers told us to hurry along. We all dressed to fit the dress code and were on the guest list AND we were third in line - I believe this was also racially fuelled. They only let you in if you have a certain look (a.k.a youre a white girl with lip filler). NOT POC FRIENDLY AT ALL. This clipboard woman obviously thinks that she has a say on looks. Please. Miss girl you need to get a grip and sit down. Dont think she would let herself into the club if she were in our shoes.

I’ve never previously had any issues getting into any club, and I’ve been to some of the most exclusive clubs in the world. However, my friend and I seemed to have an issue with this place and the attitude of the the SAME woman with the clipboard (that so many other people have complained aboutwas disgusting. I would probably expect this stuck up attitude from someone who’s actually attractive but this woman obviously seems to think she’s at that level. She needs a slice of humble pie because that attitude makes her look bitter and jealous. Fix it.

Horrible service. Clipboard woman was super racist. Turned us away because we werent in high heels but let in everyone else in wearing sandals. The most inelegant bar, bartenders are super creepy too. Not sure how this place manages to stay in business.

Went there for a birthday. The music is good and the club itself too. The bartenders and other workers were great. The problem is the security that is agressive and are constantly asking for tips. The guy at the coat deposit wasn’t honest neither, instead of putting 20£ on the card machine for deposit he put 200£, my friend noticed it and the guy said it was a joke...

Travelled to London to go to Tape after visiting other clubs in London before - will never plan to do this again! We were on a promoters guest list who promised we’d get in before 11:30pm but turned up at 11:15pm to be told we couldn’t go in (by a grumpy women with a clipboard after looking us up and downas there was no space.. funnily enough, 5 minutes later a group of girls queued and got straight in. The promoter was NO help and so arrogant. Ended up going to Libertine instead. Won’t ever go bank to Tape

We booked a table at club-bookers. We were a group of 8, got in without a problem. Place was nice and the music very good but too crowded. Overall we had a nice night

Avoid this place like a plague! Me along with my 5 girls got turned away because guess what ? .. we weren’t white how ever my 6th white friend got told she could come in because they only could one more person in. What a joke. Didn’t want to ruin the night so we said we were willing to get a table but apprently they had no more which was odd because another table appeared out of the thin air for the group of Arab boys behind us. (It wasn’t reserved may I addthe female outside the door who acts like she own the club really needs sort her self out I hope god drops some sort of happiness in her left because her behaviour is just unacceptable. It just doesn’t make sense that the promoters are all of colour yet the people of colour are permitted access it’s ironic how the music that’s played is all by artist of colour yet you have to white in order to be allowed access to this place. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

Although the club is very popular, the bouncers and manager of the club treated me like a joke, laughed in my face and walked off. Do not come here because they keep you outside for 2 hours if you are Abit tipsy, steal your money on a table that you paid for and are not allowed to be on. Also wasted our alcohol, they wouldn’t let us back in and we had 3 bottles on the table which were completely full. No manners by any staff member, was told to go to McDonald’s to get some food and a coffee despite dietary restrictions. The manager being the biggest joke. Lol. Don’t go to tape it’s not worth it x

Had the best time at Tape, even was lucky enough to attend their after party when a lovely lady offered us wristbands to go into a secret door which led to another room. This room looked like a hidden gem of TAPE! with cushions, a masterpiece of BOWIE across the bar, me and my girlfriend left at 5.30am and didnt regret calling in sick to work the next day! Defo worth the go, but would advise to get there extra early and make an effort as its defo worth making the effort for!

White females can get in wearing denim jeans and a top with trainers but black females that are on the vip promoter guest list are told lies by the white females with clipboards.They told us we were not on the guest list even though we were on the list.This club is Racist and I would recommend going libertine night club instead.I hope even white females understand especially if you have mixed family members.Just imagine how they would be left feeling.Rude women at the door rating who they believe is ugly and who is not. I hope this night club is get closed down for the racist behaviour.

Women with clipboards at the door always whispering and are vile and always in a bad mood but I would be too if I looked like them. The entry is either £10/£20 if you’re white most definitely £10 or sometimes free. The queue is weird sometimes very long and other time pretty fast. I always go through a promoters guestlist and the tape promoters are lovely but inside tape there are 2 sections and if you’ve got in through a guest list you won’t be permitted in one section which is full of arabs/footballers who have purchased the 5K tables so it does make you feel poor. But the girls in the promoters section are all friendly unlike the girls in drama.

The most terrible club in my whole life. First of all bouncers and staffs were amazingly rude. Ive never seen club staffs treated me that horrible. I am South Korean and I heard a bouncer woman talked to another staff "Nihao!" when I was about to enter, seemed she wanted to let them know a chinese girl is about to let in. :Plus, I dont see why they invite girls as "guests" and charge £20. In the club there were full of girls and the only guys were promoters, thet kept taking pictures with girls. I found it really stupid. Girls paid £20 to provide their FREE images to promote this club via SNS. We are not there to just please the promoters by surrounding them and taking pictures with them. I got invited by another promoter in another club and it was free, but my friends were invited from this club so I had to join them and, it was a HUGE mistake. A HUGE mistake in my life. Racist rude staffs who charge £20 for invited girls. :Ive never paid for clubs when I was invited as their guests. Found this club just ridiculous. I wanna give you minus 5 stars. ;)

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a club in London. Staff was extremely rude. Left after just 1 hour. No respect for their costumers, unless you’re “the kind of girls they’re looking for “. There’s not even enough space to dance inside. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very small club. Has been told us entry was free but we paid 20£ + 4£ for the bag and coat. 90% of costumers are young girls, 10% men.Music was good, fortunately after an hour a waiter bring me and my friend to the VIP area where the vibe was a bit better.

We were put on the guest list but due to the fact that we were a group of non white girls (mostly Asianwe weren’t permitted entry due to the brunette woman at the door everyone keeps talking about in the reviews. She is racist. As we walked past her she said ‘All the hoes’ just because we are ethnic? We were dressed perfectly according to the dress code and we were on the guest list. The fact that this happens so often in London which is my home city is just disgusting. The club plays hip hop music but yet won’t let black people in? Cultural appropriation at its finest. Most of the male promotors are black as well? We were told that we were ‘too large a group’, however a large group of white girls were permitted entry. Being told that we weren’t allowed in due to Tape not letting ‘groups of girls like us in’ is appalling. This is outrageous and due to principle I will tell everyone not to visit this club. And to the woman at the door, have fun being a racist in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. And to ‘Tape’, sack this woman as many have called for, and stop with the racism.

Great location, excellent Hiphop music and vibe, good ambience. The club is very small but almost every club in London is relatively small. On the whole the experience was good until when we were paying the bill. The total was was £2635 (incl. a £325.5 service chargeand we were splitting the bill between 4 guys. The waiter asked us to pay a £300 tip, we refused coz we thought £300 is a bit too much. He tried to force us and then went to add £300 to the remaining balance himself just when my friend was going to insert his card. What a scam!

Experienced and knowledgable staff were extremely attentative. The music was killing it all night and I couldnt stop dancing. Ive been back multiple times and still cant get enough. I wish they were open during the week more. Kudos Tape for stepping up the game.

when we arrived to que up in the line for tables , we saw the security and the person with the board start whispering it was clear they where not going to let us in .. they told us there is no booking which was a lie , we had booked the table in advance as it was my friends birthday. I showed the booking confirmation and they denied that there was a booking . It was clear that because there was four Asians they where not going to let us in . They where rude , and didnt really hide the fact that it was due to race we where not allowed . So I messaged the person who made the booking and he said your table is booked, but they dont want to let you in and I told him its cause we are Asians thats the reason , he agreed and apologised and was speechless didnt know what else to say .. we where dressed smart and where less than minimum people on the table that was booked . I am appalled that you are not allowed into a club on the basis of your colour , its disgusting . Something needs to be done because it seems to happen a lot in London people being turned away cause of there colour and race .. very angry and upset with the treatment from tape due to us being Asian disgusting

I like the club, but their staff has always been very disrespectful. We had a table next to some group that had a birthday and while me and my friend tried to get to the bathroom we were ambushed by the staff carrying the firework like bottles! My friend literally fell to the ground and couldnt stand up until the whole line of staff carrying the champagne showers passed because they were all pushing her. They didnt even care that they pushed us out of the way, way more focused on making sure they get to the table on time. This isnt the first time something like this happens, for a person that paid for a table and alcohol (and have been coming to Tape Tuesdays almost every week for around a yearthis was an unacceptable way to be treated for all the money I spent there! if you go to this club be careful not to get trampled by their staff!

utterly disgusted! First time clubbing and was told I had to pay £20 (which I didnt mindbut my other two friends got in for free. Total discrimination, the security guard said some people have to pay and others dont.Once in there the security pushed me around and pulled me all over the place. The promotors were absolutely crap!!The only polite member of staff was the cloak-room man, probably made my night a little better.

Tape has been one of my favourite places so far although it was ruined last night as I was treated very badly by the security of the club. I was treated in a very rude and disrespectful by the security of the club. I was having a good time in the club then went out for cigarette and accidentally went out of the club thinking it was smoking area. The security refused let me back in even I said I just came out the wrong way. When I asked to at least get my bag and coat and go home but they said I have to wait until they close the club. I felt like I was laughet at. After waiting outside in the could for hours made me brake out in tears. I think it was inappropriate behaviour from the security of the club to treat me in such a manner.

Decent music, awful club. About 200 too many people let in, impossible to dance or manoeuvre around to toilets/smoking area. Very young crowd 18/19 full of young rich kids. Also claim to play house - incorrect 😂 2 people had their coat stolen from the VIP area on the night i came to the club one of them being me. Called the club they told me they had it, every detail down to the ripped label on the inside only for them a week later when i wanted to collect it they told me they didnt have it anymore. Wouldnt return here even for a free night out & my £100 coat back. Bunch of wankers.
