Tapas Tree Restaurant, Wharf House, Wharf Street, Shipley BD17 7DW, Bradford
Traditional meat and seafood tapas, plus salads served in a homely setting with dark wood furniture.
Excellent tapas food with many choices. Good atmosphere and service. Prices reasonable. Early bird even greater value. Recommended
Really flavourful food. Plenty of options to pick from. Maybe worth ordering the whole menu like we did.
Microwave food. Certain dishes were cold and had to be sent back. Hardly any chicken in the chicken a la crema. No organisation. Will not go again
Went with family for a birthday, first round of food came out cold but was quickly rectified. Dishes came out in random order and sporadically with side dishes coming out last.Besides the initial hiccups, the food was really nice and flavoursome
Wonderful food at a very reasonable price coupled withe first class service.👍
Nice food and the staff and atmosphere were great.
As ever, a very good experience. One of our favourite places.
Based on last visit, I didnt enjoy as much as previously. Usually its really consistent and very good, but the service was slow though it was quiet (in terms of taking orders, although food came quickly). The chorizo was a bit rubbery but everything else OK. This visit was just Ok, previously its been very good, so maybe just an off day..
Been a couple of times now and the food is always amazing. You get a good amount of food for your money. Would recommend
Great place for cheap tapas, nice atmosphere and quick service
Enjoyable atmosphere to have lunch clean friendly and affordable.
Excellent food and service as always. We have been going here for years and it never disappoints. Booked a table for 6.30pm on a Saturday night and the place was already busy. I was slightly worried as the staff looked a bit stressed but neednt have worried as food and service was excellent. Cant recommend this place enough, never had a bad meal yet.
First visit at Tapas Tree, not disappointed, me, my daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed the food. Good selection, my daughter is vegetarian, she loved the choices. The staff were lovely, so friendly making the evening so comfortable, appreciated. Would recommend and will definitely come again. Thank you.
Wow, what fabulous food! This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Saltaire/Shipley. I ordered lunch for 30 staff at work and left it all up the the chef. I can only praise him, it has been so amazing, we will be coming back for more!!
I went there with my partner for dinner. Would love to go back there sometimes and recommend it as the food taste wonderful and friendly staff.
Its okay.Based opposite the canal in Saltaire and has been there for years.Up steep stairs so beware if you have mobility issues. The acoustics are awful for some reason. Was busy when we went and was between deafening and painful.Service was okay. Nice, polite, bit slow.Food was okay. Portions were okay and nothing was bad, nothing was great, it was all just okay. Was a reasonable price.Overall, was the definition of in the middle-everything was okay, nothing bad, nothing great.Been here many times, Im sure well probably go back again.
Excellent happy hour deals until 6.30pm, worth a try. 5 to 6 tapas is plenty for 2 people!
Great food. Reasonable prices.Good atmosphere. Brilliant staff. Always a good welcome. What more can i say 😁
Great food and managed to get us a table without booking
First visit to the Tapas Tree! The food was amazing and the service was first class. We will definitely be back.
This place is a hidden gem! Every dish is delicious. Portions were a good size and good value. We chose 3 dishes each and then shared them. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The food was amazing, the price was so reasonable, and the environment was so lovely. Im sure is the best Tapas around the Bradford. Their specials always surprise me, tastes are incredible 😍 😋
Loads of gluten free options they did lack in the gluten-free beer choices it all round really good
Was nice but service was very slow and we were the first ones in was a long time for drinks.
The staff were very professional and friendly, the ambience was wonderful and the food delicious and hot.
The clue is in the name..😁Spoilt for choice , so, go for it !The selection of dishes is amazing , tasty & truly scrumptious.Everyone is made to feel welcome. 3 adults & 2 children in our party . We all enjoyed the food & sharing is the name of the game here.....
Thank you so much for squeezing us in on Friday evening. The meal, service and atmosphere were excellent.
Not a great evening tonight , waited 40 mins from being seated to our ‘breads and oils ‘ we requested to have before food, when food arrived one dish was cold and sent back , one dish was missing , v young staff , one young lady spoke to us , and was very apologetic, others no clue of what they needed to do , very poor management or senior leader . Several kitchen staff in and out through the restaurant often . Been lots of times as food is nice , won’t rush back again .
It was ok, but not great, i probably wont go again. The staff werent exactly helpful. The beer was nice - if not really expensive for a pint of Estrella (probably £5.50).Weirdly I didnt actually see the bill just the card machine placed in front of me! But it was about right so didnt kick up a fuss.
Bit of a let down. Remember this place from many meals with my family in the past maybe through rose tinted glasses. This time five of us and £170. Honestly I question if the food was cooked in the kitchen on the night. We all felt rough the day after (no not beer I have 2 pints and the rest of the family soft drinks). Would not recommend.
We love the Tapas Tree. The staff are always smiling and very helpful. They are knowledgeable about the food and if they are unsure will do their best to find out. They explained how to order from the menu. The food is plentiful and very tasty. We ordered 7 dishes between 3 of us and we didnt feel wed ordered enough but we had.We would highly recommend a visit to the Tapas Tree. One word of warning. Not recommended for people with mobility difficulties, as there are steps and no ramps.
Excellent dining experience my wife and I were invited midweek to a good friend of ours birthday. After having a few disappointed meals out we werent really looking forward to the food. We were so wrong the food was unbelievable just like been in Malaga. every dish couldnt fault it, All arrived at the table hot and tasty and so authentic. We will certainly be dining here again if I had to give one downside it did feel a little chilly towards the end of the meal but it was January I maybe should of worn a jumper.
Had my husbands 60th last night and it was amazing. The staff we wonderful no request was too much for them. The room was decorated for us and everyone loved the food. Many thanks to all of you for making it a night to remember. We will be back xxx
I love authentic Spanish tapas, what I got here was not that. Maybe it was just the dishes we chose, but it all felt like frozen bulk baught dishes deep fried and served, and I dont even want to acknowledge the pan con tomate, not a great all round experience, would not go again
What a little gem this place is. Came here the other weekend for the first time with a friend and we werent disappointed, the food is absolutely amazing and there is plenty of choice. Cant wait to come back again.
Great tasty tapas selection, nice atmosphere
Such a lovely atmosphere and great service. The dishes we tried were delicious. Thank you.
Well worth seeking out this gem. Me and my wife had a wonderful lunch here on a quiet Wednesday. The service was great and the food was top quality.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere friendly staff , food took a while, but it was Saturday night, plus staff been so attentive made up for it.
This little place was recommended by a family member and we werent disappointed. We turned up at lunchtime without booking and were welcomed in by a lovely lady who seemed to be the only front of house staff. Three dishes each from the comprehensive Early Bird menu at £14.95 was great value and the portions were very generous. We had calamari (I dont normally like it but it was delicious), a chicken dish, spare ribs, paella, garlic mushrooms, and brie with cranberry sauce among others. All delicious, and the bread basket with balsamic vinegar and olive oil was gorgeous.Well worth the money...well be back.
Very yummy, great selction of dishes and great service.
2nd time here for lunch, great early bird specials. Nice venue and nice friendly staff.
Lovely, well cooked food and big portions.
Amazing service, incredibly authentic food! Everything was outstanding! Will definitely be coming back soon!

A lovely sit down with warm and helpful staff! Definitely a cosy place to relax and unwind after a busy week.
Great food if you like tapas. Feels like good quality, and generous portions/good value. £13.xx for three plates. I do not like tapas.
Visited this place a few times, always have a lovely time, great food, offers & delightful service.Such a lovely little hidden gem!
