Airy indoor/outdoor eatery serving Spanish tapas & sangria with occasional live music.
Awesome restaurant. Always visit when Im in town
The crepes are wonderful! Good drink selection. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice, clean restaurant with awesome ambiance
Food ok, service was slow but do understand they where short staffed, but kind of pricey for what we eat.
We walked to Main St. Decided to try Tapas for entrees so to be able to sample different future options. It was amazing ! The crab was the most deliciously prepared that Ive ever experienced ! Had humus & pita slices. So delicious ! The raspberry ice tea was such a delight. Everything prepared fresh to order. We are planning monthly meals now ! We are what you would call finicky eaters and we are loyal customers ! 💞💞💞💞
Had some vegetarian and vegan options which was great to see but werent our faves. Also have burgers and some really tastey french fries -crispy with skin-yum. They share the space with the crepe restaurant. You can order from either menu. We were happier with the crepes we ordered. Mandatory 20% tip.. for service without a smile.
Staff was very friendly, food was very good, and we loved the outside atmosphere. One of favorite spots in Bethlehem.
I went to Tapas on main for mothers day and Ive had a very poor experience with the staff. I tried scheduling a reservation three times the past week to be told the system was down, and the third time I called and finally made a reservation it wasnt in the system when I got here, on mothers day, but was told there was seating available so I was lied to when I was told the place was fully booked. There werent enough menus, silverware, or water at the table for my party. The food came at odd intervals with a soup and main entree coming in at the same time. The soup itself had to be returned for too much flower. Also, I ordered potatos with my steak and got fries instead. When I asked David, the general manager, about all of this he was very dismissive and had a so what attitude. Saying that the fries were in fact the potatoes I had ordered with my meal. All in all I will advise anyone I meet not to come here. I have a sincere lack in Davids abilities. Id leave less stars of I could, very disappointing.
Shout out to Kaleigh, the hostess who worked hard to get us a table outside on 5 de Mayo. The specials were delicious. I hope the Mexican Mixta stays on the menu.
Had lunch with a friend there and the food was really good. Its part of a crepes place which was awesome because we had a dessert crepe!!!If youre in the area, you should stop in and give them a taste.
Environment good, service okay. Server seems like a newbie, I asked her for recommendations, couldn’t give me anything. Food was bad, especially the crepe, way too thick.
Took a friend out to this restaurant last week and had the most wonderful experience. The wait stuff was kind it took a while to get seated however once there you can choose from not one but two different menus as the restaurants I believe share a kitchen. The cocktails were excellent the tapas were of course great, I highly recommend the salmon tartare, and my friend highly recommended the bacon wrapped dates.
Saturday Brunch was so nice! We had 9 guests for our reservation for my baby sprinkle. My family & friends loved the blood orange sangria. My underage daughter and I loved the moctail mimosa. And we all had good apps and crepes. The best thing by far was the eggplant meatballs omg I had to order a second bowl to take home !!!
We enjoyed brunch of crepes and meat / cheese plate. Great variety of options and everything was fantastic. Second time enjoying food here and we would highly recommend.
Delicious mediterranean or arugula with goat cheese salad, shrimp flat bread, tuna or salmon tartar, seafood paella. We left as the keyboard guy was setting up to play, wish we knew ahead about the music, catch you next time! 5 🌟 Stars!
Id give it -1 stars if possible. Me and my cousin came al l the way from quakertown because we heard good things about it, were told the wait will be a little over 15 minutes. We waited over 35 minutes no one came to take the order not even water. I went in to see whats going on and was told a server will be out shortly. Waited another 10 minutes until the server showed up. Just provided us with water and left for another good 6-7 minutes for the menu. We decided asap what were gonna have since we were so hungry. We finally left after waiting well over 6-7 minutes. I understand there is a shortage of employees but again the people right behind us came after us and were already munching on their food.
Genuinely surprised by the high rating consensus on here. Sadly, a disappointing experience overall. After 20 minutes of no service, save a glass of water, we ordered the garlic shrimp, two varieties of the croquettes, the burrata and a bottle of Malbec in a very confusing Parisian-themed room (in a Spanish tapas restaurant).Fast forward 30 more minutes, we have been presented all 4 dishes in rapid succession but no sign of the wine. The dishes were mostly substandard. The garlic shrimp had no recognizable garlic - $14 for 5 small shrimp in, effectively, tomato-cilantro broth. The burrata was decent, but there is definitely better available elsewhere - $15 for this, with a cheap, chocolatey balsamic glaze. The croquettes were the best dishes - the leek in particular the only saving grace on an otherwise disappointing dining experience. These were actually delicious.Had to cancel the bottle of wine order - as all dishes came before the drink order - and downgraded to a glass each. This still took 10 minutes and came just as we were wrapping up dining. The wine itself was pretty terrible - a subsequent google search revealed it to be a $10 bottle for which we paid $9 each for a warm, belated glass. All came to just over $70. Not worth it at all. The leek croquettes the sole reason behind a generous multi-star review.
We love their menu and atmosphere. Good service and excellent execution on the food. We arent crepes fans, so we went elsewhere for dessert and our picture of sangria was on the weak side. Remains one of our downtown favorites though.
Food was amazing, very flavorful and presented so nicely! Location is very convenient and ambiance of the restaurant is great as well.
The sangria flight was refreshing. The spinach dip with chorizo paired so well with the sangria, and the Paella was spectacular as always. Great service on top of a great meal.
Im never disappointed when I go to Tapas on Main! The sangria is delicious! Many fun flavors to choose from! I love the tapas options so I can try several different dishes! Great atmosphere and service!
SUPERB! Everything we ordered was nothing short of amazing. The sangrias, oh the sangrias were to die for. Treat yourself to the sampler! Its a great atmosphere and the food is out of this world. We went on a busy night and the courteous staff did a great job balancing everything and keeping everyone happy.
Delicious food.I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can sit in any of the 3 restaurants and order food from the other 2.Great idea! All the 3 menus are mouth watering and it was really hard for me to pick one option. And I must say I am a very picky person.
Honestly my favorite restaurant in Bethlehem. The food is spectacular each time we go.
Had the salmon and crab risotto with vegetables. Salmon was cooked perfect and being in public was the only reason I didnt lick my plate off after finishing the risotto off.
Food was fantastic and great happy hour. Largest selection of sangria Ive ever seen. Only got 4 stars because the was only one bartender and a week dressed manager that didnt help her
We went on a Wednesday evening for a quick bite to eat, and I was surprised by how many people there were in the restaurant. But we were still seated quickly. We ordered some empanadas, which were brought out promptly and were so, so delicious. Our server was kind and pleasant. It was an excellent experience.
Love that you can order from both Tapas and Cachettes menus. Every bite was delicious!Dont miss the pork meatballs or the blue cheese stuffed bacon-wrapped dates!
Excellent tapas bar, wonderful atmosphere, great food, excellent customer service and fair drinks and prices. When I went on a Saturday night they had a live music.
Had high hopes for a good experience, but was super let down on all fronts.Ordered 2 crepes to go, got them home and ate them for a little date night thing. We immediately started crunching on something odd, so we investigated. Our crepes were littered with black shards. They were hard, mostly likely carbon from the crepe grill not being cleaned. We tried to eat around it, but found it lacking. The crepe batter was thick. Like, Im pretty reasonable about things, but this was thick with a capital T. It was dense, chewy, and pasty in flavor. Not at all crepe-like. Chicken in the crepe was dry, and mealy. No passion in this food, just slapped together. Our crepe was also missing black beans. Might have been for better. Our dessert crepe was mostly inedible from the black shards, but what we did manage to get was more of the same. Big bummer.I called to talk to someone about it, and nobody picked up. This was still during normal business hours, and outside the rush. Im not a monster. Left a message, no calls back. Thats 3 strikes.Anyway, skip this place if you want to enjoy your food. Bad vibez.
It was ok! The food was generally delicious but the corn cake was definitely not a “cake” and not a share size. The serve was a little bit not in the situation through the whole meal. But the empanadas were really good.
Amazing food! I cannot wait to come back, I’m in love. Everything we had was so so so so great. I would recommend any of the meatball options, lamb chops, the “Tierra” paella, and the croquettes. Service left a bit to be desired - they were slow to come back for more food, any asks, and the check at the end - but the food made up for that completely!
Portions were small for what we paid - had the Bandeja Mixita, which is $17.95. Mind you, I took the photo after taking a piece of bread, so not a lot of food for the price. However, the quality and presentation are reflective of the cost. Also had the Papas A La Francesca, seen in the background, which were sublime. It was during Musikfest, so they were quite busy. Not a bad experience; the low lighting inside may be off-putting for some. Its meant to feel like a fine dining experience. For the taste and atmosphere, its ideal for a special night out.
Our food was all good and some of it was quite creative. Decent options for vegetarians, too. Service at the bar was slow but friendly. I’ve never liked sangria, but I discovered here that this was just because I’ve never had real sangria. I had the traditional. It had extremely “fresh fruit” taste, without being as sweet as actual fruit (a good thing for me). It was worth it for that alone, but the eggplant croquettes, cheese board, and artichoke dip were all very good too.
Service was good for two drinks with liquor and 2 meals were cooked perfect nice presentation and tasted amazing was def happily surprised would recommend for sure
I never have a good experience here unfortunately. The service was so bad. It didn’t seem busy but it took us at least 20 min to get our waitress, 30 min to get drinks, and even longer to get food. When I got our appetizers, we didn’t have utensils, the spinach dip was impossible to break through with the bread but we didn’t even have a spoon or anything to dip into it. When we got our food, my steak was cold. She asked me if i wanted it reheated, and i told her not if they’re going to just throw it back on the grill because i want a medium steak. They remade it, still wasn’t hot but i am just too hungry at this point. I ate my food and still am waiting for my second drink. The service was just very very slow. it lacked. Very disappointed. After how many things we sent back or complained about a manager never came over and spoke with us. Just altogether disappointed with this entire visit.
The food was delicious and fairly priced. It was a great atmosphere for a girls night out. The sangrias were all delicious and had a wide variety. Our server, Gerber, provided outstanding service. Wish we lived closer to Bethlehem so we could dine here again!
Food was so-so, service was good. Do not order the white sangria, its basically Tang..
Update October 2020: ordered curbside. Menu online is NOT updated. Two of the items no longer on menu ( third item was also not available when I got there to pay). Scallops and Papas a la Francais ( French frieswere the best. Paella de la Tierra- bland and missing a lot of meat, plus rice is boxed ( $22 entree and clearly from a box). Albonigas were okay, not great.I was expecting so much more based on my past experience there. Made me sad to then walk in to the bar area and see it looking like someones kitchen table- with Bathroom door left wide open at other end, garbage overflowing!Relaxing atmosphere. Food & service are excellent. Portions ok to share. Not over-sized.
The cheese and meat selections were *loud motorcycle passes* and we were pleased with our *ambulance siren.* The service was *blinding headlight in my eyes* and we really enjoyed the *car stereo system blasting.* Great food and drink menu for anyone who *revving glass pack exhaust.*Indoor seating highly recommended.
We celebrated fathers day at Tapas. We had a very good time. Even with having to sit outside they were very accommodating to our needs and had a very big umbrella over the table. We are a family of 5 and it covered everyone. The service from the manager to our wonderful waitress named Z was amazing. She was very informative and helped us pick out what was best for us, especially for the kids. I would recommend anyone to go and enjoy this beautiful restaurant you will have a great time. Conveniently located in the Historic Bethlehem area with many other shops to enjoy with friends or family.
The service is excellent! Very cozy, romantic and nice environment! The food and drinks are awesome! A 100% recommended!
It was great. Up until I got my dessert home. The food was good and filling. So we took dessert home I got the floorless chocolate cake with a berry sauce. When I got home pictured below is what I received. Which in my opinion was the saddest looking most expensive cupcake i ever bought. It would have been nice if the same attention was dedicated to my take home dessert as the rest of my dinner had gotten. Unfortunately my tapas on main experience start good but ended miserably.
Not a lunch place. Looks like all the good reviews came from eating here at dinner. Service was disinterested. Food was visually appealing but either over cooked or dry. Ordered the baby lamb chops med. rare and came well done. I let the server know immediately and she just walked away. Our table had to the host know before it was corrected. The balsamic and oil comes from a shop next door which is a plus.
The food here is absolutely incredible and well priced compared to the other restaurants in the area. Located in a prime location on main street in Bethlehem, this venue offere both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a great happy hour. While the food and drink were outstanding, the customer service was subpar at best. The bartenders there are woefully unaware of their clients needs and the manager on site that day was consistently chatting with 1 customer whom she seemed to know personally. If it were not for the wonderful cooking capabilities and diverse menu choices, this rating would be a 1 star.
I had reservation for this place, either way wasnt so full. Tried the pitch of Sangria, was ok. Ordered tapas for sharing, but theyre small, poorly share for 2. But both very good. Service & music was great! The place is really cool.Suggestion: the potato chips of the tartar shadows the flavor of the salmon, with the same amount of salmon and dividing between the chips you can reorganize and improve flavor.
I liked it! Great service food was pretty good. My fave was the garlic fries. I had chicken empandas and the lady sitting next to me had lamb.
Really enjoyed our night at Tapas On Main. We had the fritas and spinach dip as well as an apple flavored mule and mojito for the Mrs. The service was good, drinks were great, and the food was good. We didnt have a main course dish, but the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked great. Well definitely be back. Could be a great spot for appetizers and a drink or a main dish.
This place seems a bit hyped for what it delivers. The inside is very dim lit. Like Im going into a cave. But whatever. Lets talk food. The food is pretty plain. Got calamari that was super sour. Shrimp that was just shrimp. Good but not great. The fries were pretty good. But only cause of the sauce they have. And honestly its a bit overpriced for what you get. Which is not great tasting food. Wouldnt recommend unless you went with friends. But even then Id tell my friends no
Great cozy spot to enjoy a variety of sharred tappas. We ate inside and the service was good. You will need reservation for inside seating and i recomend the apple empinada.
This summer me and my girlfriend went out to the poconos for a vacation and stumbled upon this musicfest/mugfest they have out there every year.We went in to get a bite to eat and drink, even though it was packed and lively service was not bad. Music was playing and drinks were flowing. Food didnt take long to get to us and it was good. Nothing fancy. My only problem was the place wasnt to big or spaced out right. And because it was packed, it was a little tough getting around but we still had fun.
