Czołg zwycięstwa lub też czołg wyzwoliciel, to stały element państw byłych republik radzieckich bądź tych pod silnym wpływem Moskwy. O ile takie kwiatki juz praktycznie znikły z krajów Europy, to można jeszcze spotkać coś takiego w takim skansenie minionej epoki jak Tyraspol. I tu o dziwo nie chodzi o II wojnę światową ale o walkę z Mołdawią o niezależność. Jednostka T-34 to tylko jeden z elementów kompleksu Pomnika Chwały Wojennej w Tyraspolu.

I was looking forward with huge excitement to seeing this T-35/85 in real. But was surprised by how humbled I felt as I got closer to this monument next to the Eternal Flame in memory of all the fallen soviet heroes who freed the world of nazism. Hours later I am still shaken by the thoughts of their suffering and sacrifice. Forever thankful! 🙏

Climb it! Its Not illegal!This t34 tank was fighting nearby against Romainian Forced in WW2. Then it was in its way to Berlin. On a Bridge it got damaged and couldnt move anymore. The Squad was fighting till the end but everyone died - quite Like in the movie Fury....so it never made it to Berlin...

Its quite an experience to visit Transnistria.People usually visit countries of general interest, where nothing really surprises.Well, neither does Transnistria for a communist-childhood guy like me. I mean, theres nothing I havent seen, yet. But somehow it transposed me in the past when, realising how austere they prefer to live, instead of accepting prosperity. Especially now when nothing forces you any longer to accept communist governance. But it is a way to impress.The city seems like almost uninhabited, and is anchored somewhere in the past. Some define it as "an open-air museum of communism".I would say a disadvantaged region because of some peoples stubbornness, but they hope for more. You know: hope dies last. One can never know.

Это очень важный мемориал так как в нем очень много позитива и грусти одновременно))

Deze eenzame tank is een van de hoogtepunt in deze Sovjet-tijdscapsule. Prima plek voor een groepsfoto, een rondje langs het oorlogsmonument en parlement. Dan snel weer door.

Very nice place, just be aware that they don’t let you drive the tank. Otherwise would recommend.

Peccato che alluscita con auto propria da questa città che è un residuato della guerra fredda, si incappi in poliziotti corrotti che ti fanno contravvenzioni inesistenti da 50€ senza rilasciare ricevute. Alla larghissima da Tiraspol e dai suoi abitanti

The must-see in the city is a war memorial tribute to the dead soldiers. The bronze sculptural wall is very beautiful. There is a tank monument next to a slim church.
