Tandoori Taal - Punjabi restaurant in Kolar, India
Superb ambience. They have best and quick service even during busiest hours. Veg starters sucks. We ordered Bhutta Cigar which was worst in test, literally bitter tasting, oily starter. Also masala papad is tasteless papad with tons of onion tomato on it. Masala Dal is must try. Veg Main course was average. Quantity is good. Rates are more than average.
Good place. Great food.Price reasonable.Waiting time 15-30 min on weekends.Good range of roties.Veg options are little less but good.Parking limited.Valet parking is available but at busy hours getting that is also tough as it will block main road while waiting for valet even for few minutes.
Its a big 5 star for me. I love every bit of it. The food is amazing, staff is friendly and the ambience is lovely. A great place to meal with friends, family, colleagues and everyone else.
Nice ambience, quick service, good prices..Restaurant closes at 11 pm. They accept orders till 10:45 pm.In starters, Bharwan Lazeez Khumb is amazing. Definitely recommend it. Biryani is great in here. Try Chicken and Mutton biryani. Sweet lassi is great too..
Avg Place... Tava mashroom was not that good. Ordered this in starter but it had gravy. Rest other foods were also average.
Was my first true Indian restaurant that my coworkers took me to. We did a lot of plate sharing for variety so that I could try a lot of dishes. They were excellent for the most part (my personal taste was the only reason I didnt like some dishes). Great staff and a lot of fun. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bangalore. The menu has a wide variety to select from.
Nice place to go with family and for office parties. No alcoholic drinks available here. Food is good but the taste could be improved some more. washrooms were clean. In Dessert GulabJamun were very tasty ๐
If you are a tandoori lover and want some raw fragrance in lovely blend in your foods ( both veg and non veg then this is the place to go for . Weekends little bit wait time have to manage . Else food and ambiance is awesome . ๐
The restaurant is located away from Indiranagars hustle and bustle. The ambience is very lively, gives a real dhaba feel. The menu has a lot of varieties but food is normal and not that wow kind. The taste is OK but since its a family restaurant, one can enjoy the overall experience.
We visited for dining in here on a late Friday afternoon. Heard a lot about the mutton dishes here so we were excited. Unfortunately the food and the experience wasnt that great. The starters were decent. We ordered some Naan, jeera, mutton Rara, mutton roganjosh. The mutton portion felt and taste wasnt great either. Also the buttermilk/chaanch tasted very average. On top of that, one of the tables we were seated at had no air conditioning at all and on complaining about it the staff seemed to run around but no action taken. We finished our food quickly and had to leave as it ws getting suffocating. Overall an average experience.
Punjabi restaurant and interior is also designed like that.. Good food quality, has a little low ambience.. Little overpriced
Great food, very friendly staff! A big fan of their paneer kurchan. Their food is of great quality and taste. The staff was very welcoming and I personally enjoyed interacting with them. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The food is well priced and of good quality.
I had a good experience. The paneer tikka and lassi were really good. But the chicken patiyala curry was below average. The gulab jamun was a little too mushy.
Good food and good ambienceWe ordered oneveg platter, basmati rice, tandoori roti, panner makhani, yellow dal,Mix vegKulchaRumali rotiLassiChaasAam pannaAll were good except the paneer dish was a bit salty. One of our friends had birthday, they served the cake that we bought from outside and played birthday song and the staffs accompaniedIt was overall good and staff are knowledgeable and good servicePrice โนโน for Bengaluru like place
I went on a Birthday party. Audience size approx 80 including kids. Spacious, furniture is good. Food was veg - quality was above avg. The bread was cold but veggies taste was good.
Nice ambience for group lunch, taste was good. But lot of improvement is required for services. 1. It was very very slow service 2. Orders for all didnt served at the same time. So some members started early and kept waiting for rotis. 3. Wrong food items were served as the person taking order and serving food were different.
Its one of the best places to have North Indian food. You cant go wrong with anything you order here. I have seen them grow from a small outlet on double rd, to this big one on 12th main. Thats a testimony in itself. Highly recommended!
Taste wise it is good. It is authentic Punjabi cuisine which serves all type of tandoori items veg and non veg. Butter naan i feel it is little thicker in size curries are ok but starters i liked mushroom khumb and veg cigar very much. we ordered paneer dum roll which i felt like spring roll. Curries wise paneer kurchan and malai kofta tastes good. It would be a decent choice to visit this place as the place is tidy and clean. They maintain covid protocols and precautions well. I visited this place many times before as well, so i would recommend it to others when you are searching for Alacarte style of punjabi food.
Been here on multiple occasions. Its a decent North Indian cuisine restaurant with good taste. Decor is average and the service is good. Weekends are busy and waiting time can be anything from 15 mins to half an hour. Parking is a problem in the lane, however they have started a valet parking service. Do try their starters veg or non veg, its great.
We came here for a weekend dinner. It had a wait time of about 30-40minutes, there was not enough seating space for the people who were waiting thats the only con. The food was so delicious that the wait was totally worth it. Service was very good and you should definitely try their Dahi ke kabab its one of the best things that I have ever eaten. Would definitely visit again.
Starters are not at all good. Waste of money. Both veg and non veg starters are bad. Veg main course food is good. Non veg was not fully cooked. Hence giving 2 star rating. Service is super slow. The bill was 3500 Rs which was super high. Place is not worth the money. I dont recommend this place.
Food quality is really good , and worth the hype.
Nice Ambiance, well maintained,Everything we ordered was very good especially Biryani and chicken curryโs and it gives Punjabi Dhaba vibes which I feel is really good.
Great quality food and excellent vibrance. Wait time for getting a table was high maybe during weekends and course time. Must to mention regarding the customer service which was commendable. Very nice place to dine in while hosting large group of people. :)
A good place with a good ambience. The food was ok with what we had ordered.
Awesome food and experience, well behaved staffs and top notch quality.Definitely a go to place to enjoy authentic North Indian food.
Food was delicious. Nice ambience. Although expect some waiting time during the peak hours. We ordered paneer drum roll which was very good.Kofta Zartarri, Rumaali roti and chakori parota. And gajar ka halwa for dessert.
Superb ambience and great food. Staffs are also well behaved and hospitable.
Good place to have North Indian food in Indiranagar. Starters are authentic here. I would recommend, book table before coming as itโs always full in the evening specially on weekends.
The starter are good for non-vegetarian. we tastes only non-vegetarian. Ambience is good. Fast service and cleaned
Well, heard about this place and went there for dinner. Had to wait about 10mins to get a table as it was PACKED on the Saturday night. Food was great, service was really good, service took some time but cant blame them for that. Priced a tad bit high but quality and qty is good!
Some asli desi khana. Good food, great ambience. I tried their mushroom dishes along with some roti, which were quite tasty. The one thing which I would like to request to the management is that, the security guard on the parking slot is requesting for money on our every visit, which is a bit irritating. If this can be resolved, everything is perfect.
Great place for North Indian food at a reasonable price which is hard to find in Bangalore. I felt starters are a bit overpriced but the main course was well justified with the quantity and quality they are offering. Family friendly place gets a bit crowded around 1:30 to 2. Had a great time..!!!
A good restaurant in the uptown area of Bangalore serving Desi food. Punjabi food is good. The ambiance is fit for family. The staffs are professional and well trained.
Wonderful food. Great taste. Excellent environment. Excellent service. I have been going there several times with family.
We went out during the weekend for a small celebration and really enjoyed the food and the ambience.Food was really good specialy the non veg platter.
They serve some authentic Desi delicious dishes. Preferred place to satisfy your Indian food cravings. Hospitality has to be appreciated, Great ambience with a real Desi place feel.
The restaurant is in the second floor of the building. They prepare north India food both veg and non veg. The service is really good, they wait and explain all their special dishes. The menu includes Biryani, roti and gravy, desserts. They also make excellent sweet lassie with almond topping. Have to pre-book reservations for the restaurant. I recommend have to try here once!!
Delicious foodsMainly good customerI want you to know how much I appreciate the excellent service you provided today when I took one of my best friend for dinner. Your attention to detail, great communication skills, and ready smile made the experience even better than I expected. Thankyou
Great place for family, small groups. Authentic taste, will get all varieties of rotis, north Indian, Punjabi style food. Wait period was too long, it was too rush, we booked the table in advance, but still it was not available. If its a bigger group you may need to wait long, or else plan bit early. Otherwise everything was good, service, staff, taste. Valet parking was available as parking was full.
Good ambiance with village dhaba type setup, veg and non veg both preparations were delicious. Especially Sarson da saag and Makke ki roti and Chiken Masala chaap were very well prepared and served.May visit again to enjoy both above said dishes.
Nice place good food nice ambience but would have appreciated if they had more lighting. Masaledar Chicken Ran was very nice, sarso do saag and makki roti was also good. Good service good place to go with family and friends
Awesome Food and ambience but comes at a price. I had Palak Paneer, Veg Makhanwala, Rotis and Lassi and Aam Panna. All of them were awesome. The staff behaviour was great as well. But it was a tad bit expensive than other restaurants in Bengaluru but its situated in Indiranagar so maybe its kinda justified!
A much sought after restaurant serving north Indian dishes at Indiranagar. Had been there for lunch on a weekend and it was pretty crowded. Suggest prior reservation. Parking would be an issue ( as in all places in Indiranagar!!Food was tasty. Tried veg, non veg starters and main course... Service was fast and the waiters were attentive too.. A good choice for North Indian food lovers when around Indiranagar
Very Good ambience... Light music... Good people.. tastes are very nice... Veg platter is so good. But it is starter not the main course.. if you are big group u can order otherwise I will not recommend... They have very good collections of antiques things too... Children will enjoy....Update:Again we went this September 2021. We enjoyed all the foods. But the Biriyani is not fullfill my taste. (I think as a south Indian the taste is not much good). Otherwise everything is good
I visited this place for a Sunday lunch with a friend. The place has a pretty good dim lit kind of ambiance. It is ideal for a family lunch/dinner.The service was also pretty quick. We started with aam panna drink and cheese mushroom balls. The drink was quite refreshingand very well made. The mushroom balls were crunchy and deep fried with cheese and mushrooms inside. It tasted pretty good with the dip. For the main course we had Paneer Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. The combination was good. Overall, a good place to try some North Indian food.
It serves great food. Laal Maans is a must. Ambience is good. Can get crazy queues during lunch/dinner hours. Suggestion- Reach half an hour before rush hours to get the best seats.
Tandoori Taal is a great fine dine place for people who want to take out their family , friends and relatives to savour North Indian delicacies. The staff is friendly and cordial and I would personally like to appreciate them for their service and fast delivery.Pro Tip : 1. The last dinner order is taken at 10:30 PM so kindly visit the place accordingly.2. The place is non veg heavy with less veg options. So its heaven for non veg people while veg might have to adjust with Paneer and its variants. :)
The service becomes slow during hectic hours. However, the food will never disappoint you. Better to order individual starters from rather ordering the complete platter. One of the best north Indian food you could have.
Amazing North Indian food. The ambience is like a dhaba and feels like we are in Punjab itself. All safety precautions were taken and there was enough social distancing. The food was delicious and tasty. The meat was fresh and thoroughly cooked. The best dish was the tawa mutton. The meat was very juicy and aromatic. All the flavours were just bursting on the palate. A very awesome experience.
