Ordered a goat biryani and chicken seekh kebab. Got over charged for goat biryani $17.99 (regular price is 11.99). There were barely 3 pieces of meat and checking the receipt shows a “miscellaneous charge” since the cashier couldn’t figure out how to select a menu item to over charge me. Please be beware of this place. Will never be ordering from them again due to their dishonest practices.

Excellent food. Oil used can be on the heavy sides but biryani is excellent, chicken tikka masala is great and non veg appetizers are mouth watering.

I generally try to not leave reviews unless I think it id an exceptionally good or bad deal. This was pretty bad, one of the worst Indin food places I have been to. I got butter chicken and naan. Both were quite bad. The chicken was incredibly dry, like all the moisture had been cooked out of it, and the gravy was more a combination of water and oil than a true flavorful curry with good texture. The garlic naan also lacked texture and was pretty much akin to a slice of pita bread that was dipped in oil. Naan should be crispy ln the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside and should never feel greasy. Just not a good experience.

I’m not really sure how this restaurant operates because the customer service is so terrible. The food isn’t even all that and it is unreasonable to wait 15 minutes for some more naan while I’m already eating. Do not recommend

I can’t tell you how many problems I’ve had with this place which is a shame because it’s delicious food but the service is not worth the money I’ve spent here. One time when ordering through GH they couldn’t do garlic naan but didn’t tell me till I was picking it up and didn’t refund or offer anything in exchange. Even though they offer pickup and delivery through apps they do little to keep you informed and I’ve gone in to pick up and they haven’t even started, their app isn’t even on. I go to pick up and it’s late, I’ve gotten orders with items missing, they’re rude, and uncommunicative. I literally had to go back to pick up an item. My food is cold but at least the naan is warm I guess. I would not waste my time any more. Go literally anywhere else.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant by seeing the reviews in Yelp. For dinner we ordered Chicken 65(Fry), Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan and Goat Biryani. The order took around 30 minutes. Chicken 65 was okay. It can be better. The standout dish according to me was chicken tikka masala. One of the best I have eaten. It had his own level of spice which was perfect. I would recommend everyone to try out Chicken Tikka Masala from this place. Even Goat Biryani was amazing. Both Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat Biryani were delicious and mouth licking.

A ‘w’hole in the wall! Wholesome Indian food with rich flavors that you may not get in some of the upscale Indian restaurants in Atlanta. I’m a regular for their mutton chop masala and goat paya curry. Nan is always fresh and fluffy! Prices are incredible for the food! (A lil spicy for anyone whose spice tolerance is low, but trust me it’s how it’s supposed to be)

Real legit Indian Cuisine. We love this place. Be aware the food does tend to be on the spicy side. But the goat curry, butter chicken and chicken tika masala are undeniable. If you are in the mood for Indian try this place. I do prefer take out. They keep the restaurant too warm for me.

I really wanted to like this place but after the third try I’m giving up. We ordered two entrees and two lassi drinks. The food did not come for almost an hour even though no one else was there on Friday at 4:30 PM. We had loaded into the car to leave and the person came and begged me to take the food to go. The owner/manager(?made excuses, and smelled like cigarette smoke which was incredibly off-putting for a dining location. While we were waiting, tables sat without cleaning/bussing, a person waited almost 10 minutes to pay for a to-go order. The prices are on the higher side for the quality, and the logistics of running a restaurant are beyond this place’s knowledge or capability. Either the owner needs to swallow his pride and make some serious changes to the place, or we all have a collective responsibility to not patronize such terrible places so newer and better places can come instead. I choose the latter option.

Ive been there twice for the Sunday brunch with South Indian family friends, they go very regularly. Very authentic food but still palatable to Western taste buds. They seem to have a niche clientele from the homeland that are expecting staple fare which is why they keep coming back. Everything is extremely fresh, right down to the naan and chapatis, fresh simple lettuce tomato onion salad and hot peppers for the brave of us. Clean eating areas, which can get tight on space if you get there during a busy brunch. If you do go, you will see a mix of partakers not just Indian or Pakistani. Each time Ive been I was pleasantly surprised to see other Westerners and Africans, only proving that good food will bring us all together.

If I could have given negative star, then I would definitely have. The experience is like this. The moment we entered there was no-one to greet us. It was 7 -7:15 in the evening. Somehow owner showed up. Ac was off, and the cleaning lady said, owner turn off the ac when no one is here and only turn on when somebody come.Anyway, we settled down. Owner said to us that water jar is on the table in the corner so have it.We had a weird feeling but we ignored because we were so hungry. After placing the order we went to return the menu to his main desk, in reply he said in sarcastic way that “you did a big job thank you”.Mins passed, were sitting and waiting for our order. Till that moments we didn’t get any cutlery or plates. Now our order is here and he gave us form disposable plates and plastic spoons and forks. Actually he didn’t give us, we had to get it ours self.About food it was more oil than the disk. Paneer dish was with too much color.Be carful to go this place. Or be ready to serve yourself.

I went for their Sunday brunch this time. The food was fresh and the staff was refilling it frequently. They have enough variety for the price of $9.99. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant and they serve in styrofoam plates and cups but that’s the reason the price is lower than other places. I tried their fried chicken, Haleem, and nehari and they all were good. The Naan and paratha were fresh as well.Highly recommend their Sunday brunch!

I visited yesterday and the food was subpar. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. The naan was burnt and difficult to eat and there wasn’t enough sauce to soak up all the rice and fry chicken. I enjoy Indian cuisine and decided to stop by as the previous reviews gave the restaurant good ratings. I unfortunately will not be returning. The gentleman at the register was nice and answered my questions but I feel like I had left over food from days ago and the naan was severely over cooked

This place has been under same management for a few years. Although Pakistani Restaurants in Atlanta are not known for ambiance (sadly), there’s no reason why they cannot use normal plates and silverware. Worst Indian restaurant Ive ever ordered food from. So much grease on their goat stew and all they put in the stew is bones, no meat. Then they dont serve it with rice. Rice is an add on... Every Indian restaurant Ive ever gone to they always serve their stew with rice. Dont order from here. Youll be so disappointed when Uber delivers your food to the door.

Honestly, the food was really good but we were served on paper plates, with plastic ware, and styro-foam cups. Our portions were smallish. It was very late at night to be having dinner, and the place wasnt exactly clean. One last thing, there were two flat screen TV tuned in to Pakistani TV with news about US protests. Awkward and not cool!

Worth the trek for the food. Its 10/10, by far the best Indo-Pak food in the Atlanta area. Their curries rival my grandmothers. Its for serious eaters, who focus on food and dont care about styrofoam plates. I dream about their butter chicken, karahi chicken, tikka masala and nehari dishes. They dont have every dish available every day so keep an open mind when you go. You wont be disappointed!

Absolute hole-in-the-wall location. Styrafoam plates, plastic utensils, grab your own napkins, pull a drink out of the fridge. FOOD I WOULD KILL FOR. Seriously. KILL FOR. Excellent staples - but THEY HAVE BEEF NEHARI. It is insanely good. Excellent naan as well (obviously they have a tandoor- the paratha is fantastic. Oh, and Ive never really cared for butter chicken before (always a little too pedestrian for me- theirs? Fantastic. Chicken Karahi - excellent (and on the buffet if you like buffets. They even have Chicken Achari (my first timewith pickling spices. This place is going to kill me if I dont get a grip on my obsession. Trying to whittle down to once a week.

Great food, I am a newbie to Indian cuisine, I got a type of goat currie, asked them to spice it up and was not disappointed. It was the perfect blend of being very spicy but not painful and the flavors still came through wonderfully. One note though. If you order a dish, make sure you also order a side item as there is no rice, bread, etc included. I suggest a couple of sides of naan bread to use to scoop up and dip into the dish. The bread is great!I liked the food so much, I returned two days later. While I waited, the owner offered me some Chai tea which was spectacular and we briefly chatted. He seems like a nice guy and is the type of hard working small business owner that we should all be wanting to support.

Id read some of the reviews and since this place is really close to me, I figured Id give it a try. I knew not to expect much in the way of decor or customer service so I ordered to go. All I cared about was eating some good food. I was put off by not getting rice with my food. Id ordered butter chicken and chana masala with some naan. I assumed I would get rice with one, if not both. Whatever, my fault for assuming, so I ordered some. At least the rice portion was generous. The butter chicken tastes okay but the chicken is really overcooked and dry. The portion size is decent. The chana masala tastes good too but is a bit oily. The naan is doughy.

This along with Mughals is one of my favorite restaurants to get some subcontinent food. I generally prefer Pakistani restaurants to Indian ones since they are mostly run by mom and pop owners who make the food themselves. This one is no exception. The only item that I have found sub par is the Mutton Biryani. Everything else I have eaten here is excellent. And has been for years.

We ordered take out after reading the menu online. Each dish we ordered had rice included per the menu. Once we got.home, we find out that rice was not included. We called them back and was told rice was extra. Ive never eaten at any restaurant that did not serve rice with a meal or at least inform you during ordering. The food was ok but our experience was not the best considering we did not have rice with the four entrees.

I like the butter chicken and goat biryani served here. Recently had mutter paneer, one of the best I had in Atlanta, paneer was tender and had a nice flavor, this dish got over in no time.Reason for 4 star, I get overwhelmed by the amount of oil used in their dish but may be thats their style, this affect a little to the overall taste but still I would prefer less of it.

Tandoor gets a bad rap at times unfairly. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very tasty and favorable. Consistency is what you look for with food and they are very consistent. The details of nice food-ware and extreme customer friendliness is not obtainable here. 16years I have been eating Indian dishes. Best Chana Masala in town! Please if not, tell me where?

Im sorry to say that the food quality is not appropriate to eat due to substandard quality .I ordered the following as per their best dishes ( Goat Quorma, mutton ground Kabab ,channa lentil,Butter chicken, bread )All was sour due to old stuff and overboiled again and again to make fresh for coming customers. Bread was fresh cooked but sour due to keeping long time in freezer.Overall all the dishes what I tried was very bad with low quality .Im surprised that there are no food inspector here to check and maintain these type of restaurants food quality to avoid poor quality of food supplies .My suggestion to those who wants to healthy food not to even think to go there n not waste ur time and money because these types of Resturants wants to make money even we all will be sick by their old sour food .

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.They dont even serve you water - you need to go and find it by yourself.Goat curry sucked big time. Chicken was ok, and beef was so dead in oil.No taste for anything they had.I am not sure how people gave them 3 and 4 stars.I see that most "Americans" have given 3-5 rating - thats because they dont know what real taste is.but if you are an Indian/Pakistani and looking for "your kind" of food, DONT BOTHER GOING THERE.

11/15/2014: The butter chicken was a great dip for the plain and garlic Naan. The chicken Tikka was on the spicy side. We were the only two customers in the restaurant and our food took 30 minutes.11/16/2014 Update: We decided to go again the next day despite the long wait and ordered roughly the same thing and the food was out in less than 10 minutes.

I ordered a meat/veg combo. Food came out and I only got one piece of meat(goatin the plate, its about a size of soft drink cap and with bone. I had to ask the owner about it, and he simply said the goat meat is expensive these day, he said its about $7.99 per pound and because I ordered a combo, they only can give me one piece of meat. The combo was $9.99 plus tax. The veg I got was very light portion as well. It was about a small scoop.I will NEVER go back to this place. I am very disappointed and I felt liked I was being cheated and ripped-off. The business ethic here is very poor.

Fresh, amazing food for reasonable prices - that would be my tagline for Tandoor.I love the butter chicken and palak paneer!! And normally I do not like spinach. The naan always come out freshly made, steaming hot and completely delicious.Sometimes the restaurant is empty, but at other times you cannot find a place to sit down. And most of the patrons are either Indian or Pakistani - attesting to the authenticity of the food.

The food here is very good. It is run by a nice Indian family and everything was fresh made and seasoned really well. We were somewhat hesitant because there was no one in the restaurant and it is more of take-out than sit down, but there are a lot of tables and you have to get your own plates, drinks out of the cooler and plastic utensils. Very reasonably priced and we will go back but for take-out only.
