Just a disaster. Very expansive and taste very bad . Chana masala is a North India recipe with onions tomato, ginger and garlic paste and spices and some coriander on top.is not mustard seeds and curry leaves like a South Indian curry.. It was the worst experience I had in Indian food. Chapati was so heavy and hard, vegetables coconut curry was watery and untasty.2h20 the light of restaurant was off and I was not welcome even for take away. All staff was on phone except one.Another time I took naan and Malai kofta and it was tasty.I regret a lot to have spend so much money in this very low quality food. Chef should improve his recipes because even a biginner can make better.156 RS for this food!!!!!!!!!! Its a joke

Best Indian food Ive had in São Paulo! The food was amazing, fair price, everyone we interacted with was friendly, to include the cooks in the back that were eager to show how the food was prepared (the naan process was great to watch live). Ill definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for good food and nice environment. 5 stars for sure!

It was better in the past. I was disappointed with their Pilao Rice. They used the cheap rice instead of Basmati.

Had ordered 2 times before and the first 2 times it was good. This time it was very underwhelming, vindaloo was very watery and I am very disappointed to inform that there was a maggot in the aubergine dish. Safe to say that after this last experience I wont be ordering from here again. It is very upsetting, I dont know if the restaurant is struggling financially, but such health hazards are not acceptable.

Meh.Disappointingly bland. None of the dishes were the least tasty, lacking condiments and even salt.Service was fast, at least. The place itself feels decadent. All in all, its expensive for the size of servings and quality of ingredients.A pity, really.

Life saver for all the indians who missed The Great Indian Food..From infrastructure to the food everything has an Indian touch, sadly due to the lockdown its not possible to dine in. I must say just going through the menu made me cry, it has almost all the main course dishes and when i tasted the SAMOSA it just made my day😭To the owner,Aapne gar ki yaad dila dii, bahut badiya kaam kar re hai aap...

Indian restaurant with Brazilian way of food. The reason is most of the dish will be different than the usual Indian taste. I am not aganst here but the point is that to sustain in the business they must have taken the steps to accommodate Brazilians to try the Indian dishes..And for the Indian Foodies it will be a surpise as it will not meet the expectations. Thank you

Tandoor is indeed one of the best indian restaurants in São Paulo. In the new facilities the ambience is even better while food is as good as before.

Not a good hotel in SaoPaulo. I will strongly discourage to go here. If one is serious of having Indian food, should go to Samosa Restaurant in Brasil

The restaurant is located in house refurbished for the business. Do not expect the typical layout. There are a few tables distributed along the house with the main area located in what it used to be an open air patio. The restaurant has no parking/valet parking (which are common in Sāo Paulo). They have a special fare with a parking lot located in a hotel 70 meters away from the restaurant. We ordered Garlic Naan, lamb curry (Gosht Kormafor my wife and when I was about to order my Gosht Kolnapburi (spicy lambthe waiter told us not to do it. He said "One plate is enough for two people". Be aware, one plate per person and order rice because its not included. The curry wasnt good. It had no taste at all. I traveled to southeast Asia and tried a lot of Indian restaurants so I know what to expect from the curry. Its basically made of spices and coconut milk so there will be a lot of tastes mixing in your mouth with each bite or sip of curry. The meat was good and tender but it had no flavor at all. The Spicy Lamb was better and I could actually taste the flavors I was expecting from it.The garlic naan bread also lacked flavor. It tasted like plain naan. The atmosphere was relaxed and on Saturday night at 10 PM it was packed.

Not the best Indian food around..have tried a few other restaurants in sao paulo last few days and this one is not as good as others. The biryani (ricewas extremely spicy .. there was no check on the amount of spice that was ok for us.

The food was incredible. Probably the best Indian food I had outside of the U.S., the service is not aligned with the quality of the food, but that is how great the food is at this place that it bypasses marginal service

The food is certainly good, but less flavorful than I expect from Indian food. Naan was outstanding, but the main courses were a bit bland. Rice is not included with the main dishes, strange in my experience. The service and atmosphere are great, but for the price I thought Id be more excited about the food.

I am new in Sao Paolo, and this is my first Indian restaurant in Brazil. The food is good, but not WOW. And talking about price it was expensive compare to very good restaurant I make on the last three days I spend here. Hospitality was normal. Nothing bad but I didn’t feel a warm welcome.

Worst Indian food in Sao Paulo so far. You shouldnt have high expectations for authentic Indian food -especially north Indian food in Sao Paulo. I tried this place after trying another restaurant (Reetin Moema. The moment I walked in, I asked the waiter if the cook is Indian. He said no and I should have walked out but since I was already there, I gave it a shot. The samosa were served without any condiments (no chutnee, no raita). I asked for it and later noticed on the bill that I was charged extra for it. The samosas were ok. For the main course ordered chicken (murghBiryani and Baigan Bharta (eggplant). I have lived in India and know Indian food as I grew up with it. The Biryani and the Bharta were nowhere near what they should taste or look like. The food had no flavor and chicken tikka masala was reused for Baigan Bharta! The rice for Biryani was not basmaati rice as it must be. The chicken was hard and there was no flavor inside. But again, it was to be expected as the neither the cook or the staff is Indian in this restaurant. It is mind boggling to me why this place has so many good reviews and I wonder how many of these good reviews are by folks who are either from the Indian origin or really understand Indian cuisine.

Flavour of the food is great. Brilliant service by the staff, but please double check on the order on busy nights because they missed 2 orders, but got it quickly once they were reminded. Mango Kulfi is a must try. Prices are at the higher end.

One of the best indian restaurants Ive ever tried. What I like the most is how they managed to keep many traditional ways of cooking and at the same time customized the dishes to the western taste. You can feel all the complex flavours and spices without being too spicy. The staff is helpful and will help you decide if you are not sure.If you order one naan and one dish with a side of rice, it will be more than enough for two people.

I’m from India and travel in South America for work a lot. Can confidently say this is the best Indian food in the continent. Try the roomali roti which is even hard to find in India. Lamb dishes are always cooked perfectly. The home made mango kulfi is also not to miss.

Had come to sao Paulo for first time in May 2018 and was actually disappointed with this place, I’m an indian I know how Indian food should be, had ordered Palak paneer and there was no trace of Palak it was just green watery gravy, had also ordered chicken karhai which was okay the chicken was not marinated with spices before cooking it, so the flavour couldn’t seep inside the chicken which made it taste dull it’s gravy was also watery. On top of this the place is much expensive than other Indian restaurants in the city.

A hidden gem of the diverse culinary tapestry in Sao Paulo, well situated, if a tad hidden, with the samosa that I consider the gold standard amongst indian restaurant, trumping even London Gaylord restaurants.

The food is horrible, just greasy and no taste of Indian food in it.The Biriyani they serve is no where any close to the real Biriyani and its just some rice mixed with oil and uncooked chicken. Its just another place to try variety but there are no Many better places to eat around than go for this restaurant.

Go for the lunchtime menu ~13-16h. When I went there it was about R$50 for all you can eat from 4 options: 2x chicken, 1x lamb, 1x veggie plus a very simple salad bar and one or two types of desert. Outside that time its overpriced for what you get, but in line to the Jardins location & rarity of Indian restaurants in this city.

Very disappointed. While the papad and nandos bread was nice the paneer rotari and murgh saagwala were very very disappointing. The murgh sauce was thin and didnt taste of much. The rotari was spicy but also tasteless. Choose the place as it was 3.9 out of 5 but I wouldnt agree with this rating! Postive note, the staff spoke English.
