Tamu Sana in Leonding

Something new to taste in the town. Service was really good. I would recommend to reserve the table as it will be quite busy in the evenings.

Tried their lunch buffet. Although there werent many options, the food was great. Especially the hot banana fries right from the hot pan. The people were really friendly.

Die Vermischung der verschiedensten Gewürze sorgt im Mund für eine nie dagewesene Explosion.Die Vielfalt der Speisekarte deckt den Geschmack von allen Menschen (von vegan zum Fleisch.)Mein persönlicher Favorit sind die Sambousas (mit Spinat-Feta Füllungund der Salat mit enorm guten Dressing.Ich habe zum ersten Mal im Leben Lamm konsumiert und werde es dort definitiv noch öfter tun.2. Das PersonalSehr freundliches, offfenes und liebes Team vor allem der „Habibi“ (wie ich ihn nenneder den Menschen im Lokal auf unterhaltsame Weise die Speisen präsentiert und erklärt.Er bringt mit seiner lockeren und offenen Art einfach Leben in ein Lokal und zaubert den Menschen vorort ein Lächeln ins Gesicht.Obwohl meiner Freundin das falsche Hauptgericht serviert wurde, sorgte er sofort dafür, dass zu korrigieren. Er entschuldigte sich vielmals, obwohl es nicht einmal sein Fehler war. Selbst nach diesem „Vorfall“ würd ich das Tamu Sana immer wieder empfehlen denn schlussendlich gab es für uns eine gratis Nachspeise aufs Haus.Danke vielmals für die schönen Aufenthalte an das Team Tamu Sana

Best African food in Europe

Super leckeres Essen !Wir hatten die Menü Variante 1 für nur €25,- pro Person (ab 4 Personen), da wird man richtig gut satt.Essen ganz frisch und tollen Geschmack. Gerne wieder :)

Wir haben das tamu sana mit dem Linzer Haeppchenpass entdeckt,😁.Mittags gibt es Buffet, ich komme wieder.

I ate in this restaurant two times and I would continue to go there. Food just amazing, staff really nice, polite and really knowledgeable. Since I cannot speak german they explained me all the dish with a lot of patience in english and they also gave me the english menu. Ready for all your needs (vegan, vegetarian, etc). Highly recommended!!!

Das Essen sowie der Service waren einfach super.Wir hatten das Menü für 4 Personen mit Vor- Haupt- und Nachspeise und waren von der Vielfalt und dem Geschmack einfach begeistert.Die Terrasse hinten ist super gemütlich und vor der Sonne geschützt sodass man dort auch an heißen Tagen nicht verglüht.Freuen uns schon aufs nächste mal.

I went there last week with my friends spontaneously without a reservation. Luckily for us, there were still a few tables free. After a short wait, the waiter pointed us to our seats. But when we ordered, we were in for a real surprise. We ordered a starter and a main course with drinks. For whatever reason, the waiter didnt use a piece of paper or an orderman, which is why we had to recite our order 4 times because he just couldnt remember it. The food took a bit too long to arrive in my opinion and was a bit expensive, so I would definitely give the restaurant €€€.

Good food (not very authenticand small portion for what you pay for. If you are really hungry then its just a food tasting experience. Service is also slow and lazy. Ive had east african food many times before but at this restaurant I found it a bit overpriced and overrated to be honest.

It was a really good evening, the food was really delicious, staff was friendly with us. However, We had to wait around 30-45 min for each course. That can be expectable.We were 6 people and we received our 2nd course. It was 6 different curry bowl and with it just one bowl of the rise and Couscous, really small bowl of manioc and Jacke.Whole the time we waited for next round of curry and side dishes. But none of the waiter came to us and ask for further wish. We had to eat while caring about others desire and not to take anything too much and so on. I really did not enjoy. This is not acceptable. Because we paid a good price for it and in return, we should get a good quantity of food.At the very end when we all finished the food, one waiter asked us if we still have further wishes. Well, it was too late to ask.

Very tasty east african food. Its not always easy to get a table. Reservations are recommended but its worth it all the time.

Food was really delicious! We took the buffet plate which let you try a lot of different food and its Was just amazing. You can even order further plates if you can finish them. However we had to wait quite long for everything. Totally worth the money!

I had a much higher expectations of the food, but it didn’t deliver!The food was just ok. I had the couscous and okra curry, however, it was rather bland.Also, we waited forever for the food to finish! It took more than an hour.The staff are very nice though.

5 stars for the food, really good and unexpected for Linz.The service could need some training - some staff seems a bit overwhelmed with bunch of full tables, but might have been a trainee.Still, over all one of the best places to eat in town!
