Very nice view of the lake and hills. There is a small amusement park for kids. There are shops selling woollen garments. Parking fee and entry fee extra.

Boat house is a good spot for family. Pedal boats are available. Both 2 person and 4 person pedal boats are available. If not speed boats are also there. On holidays it is better to go there early morning itself, otherwise it will be really crowded and thus will have to wait so long for the boat. ₹15 is required for the entry. There are small rides like dragoncoaster and so on for children. You will have to pay extra for those too. Small shops are there where you can get Ooty homemade chocolates and also some fancy stuffs and woollen clothes. Also remember that boat ride also cost and extra of ₹250 for 2 pedal boats. There is a small path present surrounding the lake. Big trees are there and a places to take photos are present.

Beautiful place to visit. The lake view was amazing. You can ride your boat individually in a pair of two, three and four you can also ride with an guided boatman if you want a large boat. you can view the lake after you got the entry ticket. There was a large vechile parking. The canteen inside the boat house was not that much good for me personally, you can try some other options for food. But the palce was very neat. You can enjoy a lot there and can take lot of photos.

Boat house was relatively empty on Friday, gets packed on weekends. Organized system to hire boats of all types, powered, pedal ones and paddle ones. Good to go in a group and enjoy the fun. Alternatively, you can just sit there, watch people and easily spend half a day there..

Its an amazing place main attraction is the lake👌 here youll get many things there is open n beautiful place to sit n to enjoy the beauty, lake n there is peddle boats and motor boats both you can take for ride in lake water some and the entrance fee is just 15₹.

Its nice place today only I visited....for Boat will be 2-4-6-8 like this seats available 2 Person 250-250 deposits if youll not came in under 30 minutes then that refund will not get....if you came on time then that deposits amount you get refund or return.....Same thing for other 350rs for 4 Person....6 Person 600rs... good for boating 🚢 I visited today only....

Beautiful view from the lake. You should go for the individual paddle boating if there is no rain. Also take some time to just enjoy the view near the lake. The food inside is not great so please if you want to have lunch or dinner I would suggest explore other options..

Located in the heart/center of the city. This spot is as beautiful as it can get. You will have blast riding the boat in this lake. With all the weather supporting, one will have a really good time. Paddle boating is fun if you have a group. And finally don’t miss the street shopping. Good times👍🏻

Absolutely loved it . Clean and well maintained. Seperate ticket counters for paddle and motor boat. They have 10 and 15 seaters available for motor boat. 10 seater costs 1000 rs.Lots of other activities available like horse riding , shopping, amusement park for kids

Beautiful lake located around the city, 30 mins time duration to do the boating. 2 person for 1 boat cost is 250₹ and need to pay 500₹ like an advance amount. Once we can come back, 250₹ will refundable.Also can try mini train as well, it’s cost around 30₹ for adult and 10₹ for children. Well maintained water and not so crowded in weekends too.

A very nice place to visit with family. You have three types of boating available, Speed boat with a capacity.of 8 people, pedal boat with a capacity of 4 and 2, and rowing boat with a capacity of 6. Want to have some alone time, then taking the pedal boat is recommended. Place neat and well-maintained. For boating its all different rates, from 500 to 1000Rs. Lake is also neat and doesnt smell. Over crowded during weekends and holidays. So you have to pay for parking, and then theres an entry ticket and then inside you have games to play as well or boating which again is all separate tickets.

The entry ticket is 75/- and opens at 9:30 am Rs the boating sight is mesmerizing the place is really clean. Inside u will find small flea market and street food

One of the must visit tourist spot in ooty... kids will love. We took motor boat which cost 800 INR for 10mins ride... price wise jot worth the amount but location is really good.

Boat house place is very good... But the only problem I felt was that it was too crowded and we didnt get a chance to go for a boat ride.. so my friendly advise is for visitors is.. do not go in the peak season to this place.. you will not get a chance. I went to toy train and it was a good experience at this place

About Ooty, the common opinion is that any other tourist spot is better than Ooty. This also proves that. The place is naturally good. But, the local government and people make it feel so bad that you hate to go there again. The washrooms are ugly, the boat ticketing counters are ill managed, the boat operators can be bribed. So much crowded place that every place looks like market. The same boating and all thrill sports can be done elsewhere at the same cost in much cleaner and managed places. Not advisable to go here.

Wonderful place just to sit and relax even if you dont want to take a boat ride on your vacation in Ooty. There is an entry fee you got to pay which is around 15Rs. There is a food court inside. Besides there are also few rides, shops, plant nursery and play room. So yes, Boat house houses more than just water activities. If you are carrying a still camera, yo have to pay 30Rs more.Outside the boathouse you can also go for horse ride if you are interested. The evening view was stunning but I am pretty sure the morning view wi be extremely bright and beautiful. Its better to visit there in the morning or noon. Because after 5:00 boat ride bookings are not allowed.Boat ride prices varies according to the boat type you choose so.. it will ranges from 800-1500.

Nice place, however we couldnt take boat ride owing to non stop rain at that time, but took plenty of photographs. Nearby shop opposite to boat house has good collection of tea from various factories and chocolates to buy.I did try to report about one of the security guard as he seemed to be drunk and was misbehaving. Such people spoil such beautiful places. Not sure if any action was taken

We didnt expect this to be this good. Has pedal boat, row boat, motor and speed boats. 20 min time limits. Ride was quick, motor, boating. Waiting time... 25mins. Shouldve taken the pedal boat option. Dont miss the tea shop once done. Overall Good Time

Located at city centre, easily accessible place with ample space for car parking. Cool place to chill out with family and friends. Its a complete entertainment zone where so much is there to explore and enjoy. Easily u can spend half day here if u have time during ur ooty visit. You have several rides for adults and kids, food stalls for kids foods and adults, 7D cinema, mini toy train ride, fun gamezone for adults, VR games etc. Pedal, row and motor boats are available, one can choose based on your preference. Boating rates for motor boats is bit expensive but they take u for atleast 20 to 30 mins round the lake. Loved the mini toy train ride which takes you near lake for 10 mins. Overall its a cool place to enjoy time, must visit place in your ooty itinerary

Nice place to enjoy a boat ride. But Could be better facilities like organized parking, proper ticketing facilities.Dont take toy train. Worst and wont go beyond 100 meters. Waste of money for toy train.Pay for horses as per rate cards.

One of the best place to see in ooty. But it will be crowded in evening. For speed boat with 8 members it cost you around RS 800. It also have many food stall games for children. The entry ticket is Rs 15 per head. Dont miss it

Really enjoyed very much. Our visit during the month of December was worth to see the places without much crowd. We got a beautiful experience with elders. They enjoyed the motor boating. There is another jetty on the other side of the lake with no rush or crowd. After getting tickets the boatman took us with safely, shown the places around the lake including Actress K.R. Vijaya’s bungalow on the bank. Also I had an opportunity to sail the boat which gave a thrilling experience. There are many shops in the boat house. Price bit costly but varieties are there. Many small eateries are there. Parking lot also good.

Ooty lake is amazing it has beautiful scenery. Prices for all the fun rides and boating is very reasonable. You had multiple options for boating as paddle,motor. Do not miss the rides too as they are fun and you make good memories. There are couple or places for sight seeing near by has ample amount of parking space and local shops to buy accessories.

This is located at the heart of the city, just a kilometre from the railway station. This place is very crowded, probably the most important attraction of Ooty. Despite having a good parking area, it feels small due to the sheer number of vehicles. Boating is managed very well with separate counters for pedal, row and motor boat. There are other attractions for children as well which you find in amusement parks.

Very good and beautiful place.. Boating is closed at 5 so visit before that. It is fun guarantee place for kids as they have lots of snacks and games for kids

Nice place, But little dusty.So many rides are there.Especially pedal boating, train, kids rides and all..With family & kids, it is a very nice place for the entertainment.But personally I am not fully satisfied the atmosphere there,Especially, I cant compromise with those dusts. I lost a whole day because of that.Even the surrounding road also congested and dusty.If the Government can do little more investment, definitely they will get more income from the tourism.Its such a crowded place.

Best boating site with affordable and reasonable prices. Motorboat, row boat, peddling boat are available. Usually crowded and must go early to get your ride early.

The place is located near Ooty and a place of tourist attraction to the beauty of the lake and boating facility. There is ample car parking facility on pay and park basis. The place was maintained well. The ticket rate seemed on a higher side for a 20 min trip. But the boat trip is nice and enjoyable. Recommended for a visit along with family or friends. There are some more shows and pavllions which attracts tourists along with places for street food and eateries. Best time to visit will be either morning or evening.

Awesome place to spend time. it will be crowded and you might have to wait longer depending on the type of boat you wish to take. you can sit leisurely in the lawn and watch the lake, there is also a mini toy train station which is like a must visit if you travel here

This is very happening place. Good place to go with your family. There are many games, horror houses, 7D thriller movie theatre, shooting games etc. in here. There is a toy train that goes around 250 m and comes back. Boating experience was fine. Small stalls are there. There are a few nurseries also from where you may purchase seeds or plants. It was overall a very good experience.

Nice. But too much expensive.. Not much to explore 🥱 Just a waste of money dont get into the scary show thats a utterly useless. But the mirror room was very good and very attractive... Boats are very costly but it was a good ride time.. And the parking have also another charge and to get into the building we need to take another tickets🎟..... Inside variable charges.... But government has taking a good care on hygiene on these products.

They doesnt accept online cash payments and they take security deposit on boating. We forgot to take refund of boating amount.Please remember yourself to get the refund of security deposit.Crowded but peaceful lake.

Liked it but water is not clean kind a smelly over crowded and they charge around 250 for pedal boats with half an hour time, but take initial deposit of 250 extra for 2 seater and 350 for 4 seater, deposit is refundable only if to you return with in half an hour. Scenery is very beautiful and recommended place to visit.

It is very good family place to visit. Here u get all types of activities to do like boating, having ride in various rides of carnival and I like the combo pack of three shows most including horror house, jungle and mirror maze.

The boat house has an entry ticket even if you are not boating. The speed boat option is pretty weird as it jas a sitting of 8 people so if you are two people trying they will ask you to get another 6 people as the cost is 800 and not per person. Paddle boating is great and is recommended. They do take a security amount and it is returned if you return the boat back in 30 minutes.PS: The washroom is outside the premises.

What to say about this place as its seems amazing during right weather. We came in Nov end and weather was awesome. When we reached there it was foggy all side. Boating was not happening due to that. But when we requested they agreed for boating. When we entered with boat in pond visibility was zero but slowly it started clearing. After boating we went for Toy train. Even the distance was 500mt to go and 500mt my come back we enjoyed fullest. Then we did horse riding. I will say overall it was complete package.
