Fantastic pizzas at a good price. Place is a lot bigger than you imagine.Friendly fast service

Maybe it was a bad day or new staff or something else, but service wasn’t great. Half our order was forgotten. We paid 44e for two plates of truffle pasta but got a big plate of tagliatelle with butter and a small plate (after I told them they forgot my orderof truffle with tagliatelle. No explanation or apologies given. The dish my other friend took was good, however.

Great food, great service. Amazing pasta. Staff went out of their way to find a way to make a non-alcoholic cocktail for me because of pregnancy. Could not recommend them more. Thanks guys 😊

great meal. it can take a while to get served but the wait was worth it. had pici cacio e pepe con cialda di parmigiano croccanta and it was wonderful. as a vegetarian I was tired of the same old pomodoro or alla Norma and expected great pasta in Italy which I finally found.

Went twice - once for dinner once for lunch. Really great food. Service was a bit chaotic but that maybe just the way things are at the moment.

The food is really good, fresh made and tasty but it was a little bit more espensive than the average italian restaurant. Therefore you get a nice atmosphere at the Piazza Santo Spiritu where the life is celebrated. Music and many people celebrate around the place which was enhancing! One waitress was interested and kind the other one was disinterested. We recommend a different wine than the exspensive chainti classico.

Very good pasta, well cooked. The only dissapointing thing was that there were lots of flies on the tables outside. Hope that they can do something about it!

This place is ten stars, I could not recommend it more highly. A friend told me to go, I only wish I had gone sooner and more often.The antipasto dish we had with the fried dough, cheese and truffle was mind blowing and has set the bar unreachably high for all future appetisers. It was one of the most incredible things we ate in our (1.5 weeks so fartime in Italy.

Decent experience, had a good aperitivo here, didnt like my main course as much but thats just preference. For the appertivo I had the spritz and vegetable tempura, for first course I had the cacio e pepe. The ravioli that my partner had was pretty good tho!

We tried the Marinara pizza (plus mozarellaand the tagliatelle with cherry tomato and basil/pesto sauce. The pizza was just great with right amount of each ingredient. We really enjoyed it. But the tagliatelle was nothing like in the pictures. The pesto/basil was underneath the pasta and when we asked they said its the same thing just mix it up. So if you order food based on how it looks, maybe keep away from the tagliatelle.I got castello lager premium draft beer and it was one of the best lagers I have tried so far. They have cover charge of 2.5€/person. The service can be better.

The service was not good at all, we had to wait a long time for every step (get seated, get menus, order drinks, order food). Our order wasnt written down so some things were forgotten in the process.The mixed plate of meats & cheese was good though, after the long wait we decided to order just 1 pizza & leave.

We stopped here for lunch, we ordered 2 waters, got 3, we ordered 4 pizzas, got 3.Completely incompetent personal, takes 45 min to get food, if you even get it.Food is nothing special, just ok.Go on the other side of the street to Osteria Santo spirito for some authentic food, better service and prices.Never again.

Cold and tasty beer! Local prices. Aperol Spritz not tasty. Food is very tasty. Recomended

Was not impressed by the food but it was okay. 1. Eggplant was good even with the skin on. It was nice and crispy. 2. Some disgusting ravioli with peas dish. I didnt eat it so they took it off the bill.

Excellent food and wine. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is based on a square with several bars near for drinks beforehand or afterwards. Its off the beaten track, therefore you will not be swamped by tourists .

Excellent. We stopped by for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was equally as good. It got very busy by about 8pm so would recommend going a little earlier to ensure you get a table.

We’ve been there with 3 kids for dinner. Was it the best place in town? Probably not, but was absolutely fair.Pizza and pasta were totally ok, pricing a bit “touristic” but I mean… the location definitely calls for it.Nice piazza with many tables on the outside, nice decor in the inside.Like I said: totally fine.

In my opinion everybody should give 5 stars to this restaurant. We had 4 different kind of pasta and one pizza. All of them very tasty and with affordable prices. The staff is very polite and always there to help you out. Well done

My girlfriend and I had the large tagliare. It was rather filling with a good selection of cheese and cold cuts. We ordered the mortadelli pizza with peanuts. It was pretty good! The waitstaff was nice and professional. The only let-down was a putrid odor from the sewers. But, thats more a Firenze problem.

We had the pizza and I have to say it was my favourite so far. Make sure you book in advance if you want to sit outside!

Excellent place to sit outside, friendly and attentive service. Shared some pizza and pasta, both delicious! We didnt book but it was pretty busy and happened to grab a table. Recommended by our local Airbnb host.

Muscles and truffled pizza are both delicious. English gets by but have to do some guessing …( I think the waiter said if they can charge me more to give me bigger muscles 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Really great experience.The waiters were really nice and food arrived fast as well. The inside has this industrial and modern environment that I really enjoyed.The cacio and pepe was really really great and you could really feel it was home-made.The spinach ravioli were amazing as well and a really nice combination of flavors.Definitely recommended if you come to Florence and want to try traditional cuisine.

I had so many amazing experiences in Florence and this restaurant is just appalling in contrast.So many free tables, so many free waiters, so much time was wasted ignoring my sister and I while we waited for someone to acknowledge us and sit us down at a table.We looked at each server that walked past us at the front door and we felt so invisible. It really doesn’t help when we are two Asian girls in a predominantly white country.We are finally seated and we placed an order for pasta with mussels and a Margherita pizza.The pasta was good but nothing amazing to everything we’ve had in Florence. The pizza on the other hand was so soggy as you move from the crust to the centre of the pizza. The sauce was bland. But hey, at least the crust was cooked perfectly (that was the only part we enjoyed and that’s saying a lot).Getting seated was a mission but getting service while you’re already seated was also a mission. So many attempts to get the waiter’s attention and so many times we were left ignored. I made eye contact with a waiter who was standing idly at the door and she reached for her phone in her pocket and pretended to be occupied with her phone.The table next to us, who were French, received better service than we did. We watched the waiter make conversation with them, asking them how the food was and if they’d like to order more food/drinks.DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! Other places does better food and waiters are much friendlier.My fellow Asians and POC have thick skin if you are to eat here.

Best Italian meal we have had in 4-5days of travelling the country. Highly recommend the food and service. Great little area with heaps of options. Tamero was a standout!!

Amazing! Need I say more? The staff (particularly Jean Claudewere wonderful - friendly, helpful, and relaxed in the best of ways. The food was to die for - simple and delicious. The ambiance was delightful. Truly an awesome experience. If you come to Firenze, you won’t want to miss this gem. We will certainly be back. Thanks, Skyler and Klaus

It took about 5 minutes until one of the employees, who were four in a group right next to us, had mercy on us. Another 10 minutes til we got a seat, despite several free tables. A menu? Only available after another 5 to 10 minutes, on request.Now we come to the order itself - the desired water unfortunately did not find its way to our table even after more than an hour. Maybe it had to be drawn from the source first, but for a drink this is a utopian long waiting time. When it came to eating, it didnt go any faster... While the pasta finally came after an hour, it took another 20 minutes until the pizza arrived cold...

Excellent pizza : ‘ndujae burrata and parmigiana were excellent. We recommend the pizzas here ❤️ Great Tiramisu ☺️ The staff was a bit overloaded so they missed some orders. But the food was very tasty

Price wise, very reasonable, no issue there.We shared some shrimps with licorice mayo, and those were pretty good. I thought the shrimps were a little fishy, but not too much. Good appetizer.I got the tortelli with octopus, which I thought was actually good. I just didnt expect it to look like it did 😆.One person for spaghetti with gorgonzola and some green paste, which she didnt like at all and we had another that got the same and thought it was ok but just too rich. They didnt expect the gorgonzola to be in the sauce either.There was a diavola pizza, which was ok, but too salty.All in all, opinions were pretty mixed.

The fried dough balls with cheese and ham were INSANE! Absolutely a must try. The pizza was really great. The octopus tortelli was beautiful (and not spicy at all don’t worry!). Really stunning food

I really want to spend some time and words about this place. I went there with some friends from Slovenia, I’m Italian. The staff it’s great! They are all very friendly and smiley, they served us fast and they did their best to meet all our request. The food was great eater the pasta then the pizza. The inside is very street art oriented. Considering the center position and the price, very well done guys! We will definitely came back!!!!

Loved this place! We sat inside, but theres also outdoor seating. All the waiters were very nice, and the establishment was very unique and fun to be at. You HAVE to get the Cacio e Pepe, its absolutely delicious. The tiramisu has to be the best Ive tried in Italy.

We visit this trattoria and weve been very happy. The restaurant has a friendly vibe because of the decor. The pasta was amazing. The pizza was great and the starter too. Also, it was a jazz band playing music and the night was totally perfect.

My wife, Lynn, and I decided to try this interesting restaurant on the southern side of the river after seeing a YouTube video on the best pasta in Florence. Tamero didn’t disappoint. We started with the coccoli stracchino e prosciutto crudo toscano (fried dough served with stracchino cheese and prosciuttowhile we sipped a glass of house wine. Lynn then enjoyed the pappardelle impastate al caffe (coffee pappardelle with pumpkin sauceand I chose the tortelli bianchi e neri (black and white tortelli with spicy octopus sauce). The pastas were excellent as was the professional and friendly service. We will certainly be back. I definitely recommend eating at Tamero Pasta Bar Restaurant when in Florence. It’s worth the walk to the other side of the river. Enjoy.

Industrial decor. Very nice staff. I like the hipster design of the place. We did not eat but we have seen the dishes going to tables and they looked super delicious. That whole square is a nice spot. Worth visiting

The food was delicous, interior amazing, it really has a great atmosphere but regarding the service, there is a room for the improvement. It took them so much time to come to our table to take an order, also their English was very poor.

Cool spot, urban style deco, food ok priced. My noodles where kinda too al dente, however my gf loved here food. Cheesecake was big for a dessert

Absolutely a must if you are in Florence and want fresh & delicious pasta. The pasta is made in house and each dish has a little twist to them. Certain pastas are made with egg and others just the four and water making Tamero a perfect option for those vegan or not looking for quality and taste. I ordered the Tagliatelle al Pomodoro con Pesto di Basilico e Pinoli Croccanti (tagliatelle served with a tomato and basil sauce, and crunchy pine nutswhich is already dairy free and all I did was switch the tagliatelle pasta (made with eggto the pici pasta (no eggand the dish was the best I’ve had ever.The location itself is great. We sat outside amongst other restaurants within the square so you get a feel for the city of Florence. Staff was great and helped with us deciding on what to order and what wine to choose. Overall one of the best I’ve had!

Exceptional food with portions that are quite sizeable! The place is busy and the service may be slow but it is totally worth it!

The pasta menu is definitely the highlight here. It features innovative modifications to regular pasta dishes, with different types of pasta and some seasonal variation. Antipasti also have a few neat options. Friendly staff and its nice to sit outdoors in the piazza.

Fantastic place for pasta with outdoor space directly in the piazza, and plenty of space inside as well. I hear the pizza is good too! I was entirely tempted by the pasta though because it features original options such as chestnut and sunflower ones, pairings with ginger broth or potato and amatriciana with parsley sauce. Can totally vouch for the latter one, and the portions are a very generous size. If there was one thing to nitpick at, is that it could do with less salt.Lovely atmosphere, cocktails (especially the Madame Butterfly), great for people watching and relaxing away while being seen to by a polite and attentive staff.

Very good aperitivo for 12€, you have a cocktail and an antipasti. The fried ravioli on skewer were delicious! Pizza taste good, not exceptional. We would come back to taste the pasta. Staff could be more friendly

Waiter didnt clean the table before sitting us, so table cloths had glass stains and bread crumbs. Pasta was good, pizza and calzone average, I think I was expecting more because it was recommended by a local. Not worth the price.

Tamero is located on a large square with multiple restaurants. We were looking for a place with outdoor seating, although there were multiple restaurants in the area, we were drawn to the vibes and menu of Tamero. The menu was a bit more intriguing than the others. I did find the cacio e Pepe was a little too al dente (read: undercookedfor my taste, but otherwise everything was great!

Fairly good! A bit over-priced. The pizza was okay. The mozzarella di bufala was not melted but fresh. The crust was better flavored than the sauce. The flavors of the spaghetti, a pesto pomodoro with thick round noodles, seemed a bit off/sour. Over all, it seemed like people were enjoying their meals but not many locals there, mainly a tourist eatery. Lots of outside and inside seating. Restrooms inside as well. Cover charge of €2/person.

Was looking for great pasta around the area and found this place just around the corner near our accommodation. Love the great vibe and decor of the restaurant and the two pasta (black tortellini and Ragu papperdelle)we ordered were delicious - Al Dente with fresh tasting ingredients. I would recommend to pasta lovers out there!

Best pasta I had in Firenze. Lunch menu is only 10 euros and includes water and coffee. The restaurant itself is pretty hip with a very cool vibe. Will definitely come back if I’m in town.

Amazing service, great food and great ambience. They have a seasonal menu with fusion food which was great especially for tourists and locals alike. ordered a Singapore sling (wasnt exactly the same as the original but was surprised they even had it)! was with a group of 4 others and wanted to get outdoor seating but it was full. Immediately the staff set up an extra table just for us in less than 5 minutes! definitely will be back!
