Tamari Pan Asian Restaurant in Panaji

A few days back, we made an impromptu dinner plan to visit Tamari for some Asian food. And Im so glad we did. Right from the ambience, the service to the food, everything turned out to be just perfect.We started with the Konjee crispy mushrooms were nice and crispy, without being chewy and the sauce in which they were sautéed wasnt too spicy either. Golden sweet corn soup was the usual soup with corn and other veggies and thankfully, not too thick in texture.Okonomiyaki (the Japanese pizzawas a delight dish, not like your regular bread pizza, but a soft pancake instead, loaded with lots of vegetables. We totally loved this one.Of their Signature Rolls, we had the Midori which was beautifully made and tasted great.We ended our meal with some warm Japanese tea. Pricing of the food is not too bad and the wonderful overall experience quite justifies it. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Very tasty food , great ambience , service was high quality .. but very pricy , estimate 3 times expected costs .. was charged 500 for 3 water bottles .. was served starter spring rolls after we finished the dinner !

Caro, exclusivo y bueno. Si estas harto y necesitas un tiempo muerto, este restaurante japonés es el sitio. Limpio, refinado,... Por 50 euros comes 2 personas y descansas un poco.

Truly 5 star experience. The sushi, Bao, Hakka noodles, lamb in black pepper sauce were yum! Just take a look at the Bao pig!

Excellent Japanese restaurant. Great food. Wonderful presentation. Very nice and helpful service.

Is an outlet inside the Taj Vivanta Hotel. Situated in the heart of the Panjim City. Lot of parking area in and around the hotel. The staff from the security at the main Gate to the restaurant were very welcoming and excellent. We were here for the Yumcha menu that usually happens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have a set of Veg and Non Veg Menu that you can choose from and can have unlimited from either one along with different flavoured teas. The non vegetarian menu was excellent from starters to Dessert not forgetting the flavoured Tea. The restaurant has a great ambience and very comfortable seating. All in all great place, great food , great ambience, value for money and last but not the list great hospitality. Definitely recommend to try this place and looking forward to visiting again for a repeat of the amazing experience.

Special thanks to Saii and Rajat! They made my birthday special.The food was excellent! I cant express my love for their Asian food. Mom and I ordered Golden sweet corn chicken soup was simply splendid. And we ordered Prawns tempura sushi. Being an open bar kitchen, we got the pleasure to see the talented chef make the roll. Big prawns freshly fried and rolled into the rice-seaweed combo. The taste was so beautiful!Honestly, Im a Asian food enthusiast and Tamari is the BEST food Ive ever tasted. Hats off!

We had a wonderful night at Tamari. Sumedh, the restaurant sous chef, took great care of us by guiding us on our choices and even bringing another chef to prepare a special dessert for us. Every dish was memorable, I really enjoyed the Oknomiyaki. Babla was our waiter and recommended me a delicious cocktail and even welcomed us in my language. A unique experience, you must go.

Pathetic service and the staff take infinite time to deliver food. This does not even deserve a 1 rating
