Park bringing Indonesian culture & nature to life via museums, gardens & replicas of famed sights.
a lot has changed since the last decade i visited this place, quite nostalgic i would say. most of the area were kept well while the others...*sigh*. definitely do try the gondola and dont forget to rent a bike here!! it was 30K i believe? it was an enjoyable experience to ride around the park in the evening!
Recommended for those who want to learn about Indonesia but have very limited time.
... this mini garden concept was originally a miniature depiction of very diverse customs, arts and culture from all provinces in Indonesia, Initially initiated by the first lady of Indonesia at that time, namely Mrs. Siti Hartinah or Mrs. Tien Suharto who was the wife of the president Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Suharto. In this park, you can find out how the arts and culture of the ethnic groups in Indonesia are through displays of traditional houses, regional costumes and local art items. In addition, there are always cultural arts performances that can be witnessed by visitors. This park is also equipped with various museums and other facilities such as a recreational park...
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is good i can selfie in front of the first Indonesian Plane.Cool
Such a wonderful place me and my crew had so much fun there its like a huge park where u get to see all the Indonesian cultures and history and the every era they went through and very friendly nice people , the place is very fun to go and has interesting things to see and to learn i highly recommend you wont regret it
This is one of the most iconic building in Indonesia. I believe everybody in Indonesia knows Keong Mas theatre in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. They still play movies regularly however it was not a regular theatre movies which you will find in cinemas. They are planning to upgrade this Imax theatre and hopefully they can show more popular movies. The building is located inside Taman Mini Indonesia Indah so you can also find another attraction to know Indonesia in one location. Highly recommended
Healthy protocol ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (went to Taman Legenda and all staffs very care with hygiene)Parking Space ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Staff service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (very helpful and kind)Information board ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (very informative and clear)Crowd ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (even on weekend its not too crowded)Entrance price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (via website booking and buy Rp.70.000 /person above 2yo)Food and Drinks Quality ⭐⭐⭐ (for 30-45.000 food cost and 5-10.000 for drinks its not my favorite place to spent every weekend with family though😆, but you also wouldnt be allowed to bring food/drinks from outside the area)
TMII has so many places that you can discover and explore, really a suitable place for you bring your kids to learn with a fun way
This place so amazing.. we can learn and play in one place.. there are many place that contribute to show how great our country in each province.. and the entrance ticket price is acceptable with what experience we get there.
Entrance fee 20.000 rupiah per person, plus car fee 20.000 rupiah. If ride by bicycle plus 5.000 rupiah.
Decent place for amusement park alternative. Not too crowded and can be an enjoyable place.
Welcome to TMII or Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Taman Mini "Indonesia Indah" (literally "Beautiful Indonesia" Mini Park, abbreviated as TMIIis a culture-based recreational area located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. Since July 2021, it is operated by the Government of Indonesia through the PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, dan Ratu Boko; it was formerly operated by Yayasan Harapan Kita, a foundation established by Siti Hartinah, the first lady during most of the New Order and wife of Suharto, and still run by Suhartos descendants since his death. It has an area of about 100 hectares (250 acres). The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture, with virtually all aspects of daily life in Indonesias 26 (in 1975) provinces encapsulated in separate pavilions with the collections of rumah adat as the example of Indonesian vernacular architecture, clothing, dances and traditions are all depicted impeccably. Apart from that, there is a lake with a miniature of the archipelago in the middle of it, cable cars, museums, Keong Emas IMAX cinema (Indonesias only IMAX cinema until the 2010s), a theater called the Theatre of My Homeland (Theater Tanah Airkuand other recreational facilities which make TMII one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. I like to used cable cars we called Gondolla" :).Since 2007 Taman Mini Indonesia Indah launched new logo with branding slogan Pesona Indonesia (Indonesian Charm). On December 31, 2014, World Peace Committee decided TMII as International Civilization Park and World Peace Theme Park. They open start 6 am to 6 pm. Since covid before enter We should show our PeduliLindungi App, Check temperature , and already vaccine. The Ticket Price is okay, not too much expensive and They have space parking area. Good area for kids and family, because fresh air and a lot of knowledge. For me specially for my jogging. And I recomended for Foreign Tourist or Domestic Tourist. But be carefull now they have rules time to visit here as per day Date odd or even date. So lets visit here and Enjoy your day with friends and family.
an interesting place to visit and enjoy the natural beauty and see firsthand the characteristics of Indonesian culture from all provinces, but unfortunately there are some places that have not been renovated and there are places that require an additional fee to enter.
Really great place for your family holiday. I recommend you to take your car/bike..because the TMII is really vast. The entrance is Rp. 20K/person. Open everyday from 08.00am to 22.00 pm but for rides and theatres only until 17.00 pm. The toilet and musholla is everywhere, it was all clean and easily found . so you need no worries about it. Taman legenda would cost you Rp. 90K and 10K for the entrance bracelete. You would need to return the bracelete when you exit the taman legenda by refund for Rp. 10K. The antariksa would cost you Rp. 80K, youll find swimming pool, 5D dinos movie, kids area, space shuttle, trampoline, toilet and pray room inside. I took the brochure and get it pictured so you can see the map and the entrance fee for every place inside.
The Taman Mini Indonesia Indah park is an interesting place to visit for the day. The gondola was a great way to see the whole thing at once. I enjoyed seeing the traditional Indonesian style buildings. There is even a small train you can ride here.
Surprisingly, during Covid, some of the Traditional houses has been renovated beautifully. And many were also being renovated at the moment. So even though many of the attractions not open, its still kinda nice and peaceful to visit.
Good place to have insight about Indonesia. As they called, Mini Park of Beautiful Indonesia. You can find a lot of activity here. Theres also dedicated place for each province of Indonesia. If you want to visit all attraction, well, maybe you need 3 days.
Entrance ticket on weekend is 20k per person, car also 20k. Free ticket for entrace all Indonesian traditional house. In pandemic era, snowbay as the snowy pool are temporary closed. Several place also temporary closed. Not bad lah, we still have several place to visited.
Its an okay place, but the pandemic made the park somewhat in need of maintenance. We arrived late, so we didnt get to see the shows.
My son really loves the ambiance of TMII. Even there is no social distancing in some places, the area is so big so we can still keep our distance to others. Will come back as soon as possible
Frequently visit this place.Pros: Its a biggest area contained a education, cultural and miniatures of Indonesian Island. There is a animal education spots, I. E. Bird park, reptil park, fresh water fish world, insect museum, Taman legenda.Very near and easy access from toll roadCons: Some place are dirty and not well managed. Need improvement.
The most beautiful place to visit in Jakarta. There are traditional houses from all around Indonesia, tansportation museum, and many more. Great place for short holiday.
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMIIis real Indonesia mini version. All about Indonesia from Sabang to merauke is almost presented here ini TMII. Last week i visited Taman Burung (Bird Reservationthere. It was so amazing. I met all excotic bird from all over Indonesia. I spent around 120.000 rupiah for bundling tiket to enter TMII and Taman Burung. It iwas worth it. Oh, this site is very suitable for educational media for your children. Playing and studying is suitable tern for this site. Dont afraid about Covid, because they are applied Covid restricted rule (PROKESquite well. If you are not interest in Taman Burung spot, you also can try another spot . Just find in google, it helps. I rate 10 for this place. Especially for the KakaTua. They were so much fun
Its wide place to spent your family holiday. There are lot of museums, traditional houses of every province in Indonesia. A good place to bring your children for education and also relax with the nature.Unfortunately, there are some places that need to be repaired and taking care. Some museums are under reconstruction, and other looks so quiet.Herewith some pictures i taken yesterday, in house of Bali, sunset from above while riding Kereta Gantung, sunset from Museum Keprajuritan, and piranha & beautiful fishes from Museum Air Tawar
Great place to visit to get a glimpse of the Indonesian culture without having to travel to all of the islands. Basically there are models of the different housing styles and living conditions throughout the country. It has a bird sanctuary with some exotic birds which are nice to hold. At the time that I visited there was even someone dressed up in the Papua tradition. All-in-all it is a great break from the clutter urban life of Jakarta.
Some places are not well maintained but the entrance fee is cheap only 90k for 3 adults and a car. Kids below 2 yr old is free entrance. I would recommend to come here by car as the area is large, will be tiring to discover by foot. Theres bike rental there too but am not sure how much they charge. Food is not expensive.
A great place to take our children playing and learning at the same time. All you want to know about Indonesia is here. Nice place, huge parking lot, mosque, church, temple, vihara are here.Very friendly for children. You can also hire a meeting room or ballroom.
My Google Review # 000088.Big. Big. Big. Very informative for kids about the Indonesian culture.Typically you need to spend a complete day or even two to enjoy the complete park features. It can be tiring, but, at the same time, it is very informative to kids. You have a cultural museum, an architectural museum, an artificial river flowing through the park, a small 2 coach metro/tube running through it, plenty of ATM/ Cafeteria options, bird park, reptile park, beetle park etc. There is also a Komodo dragon area here, where they are kept for real. Its quite scary, but, that is also one aspect of nature. Its improving day-by-day as we can see in the latest snaps on Google.Date of Experience : January 2009.
The best zoo in Asia and I would love to be there again. The most challenging thing is how to get there and enjoy. It is heavily traffic and over crowded with people even on the weekday.
✔️Awesome place to hang-out. There are a lot of museums to see, pavilions to visit and rides to enjoy. I have visited TMII four times but have only seen a fraction of it. If you really want to enjoy everything this place has to offer, its best to stay at a hotel nearby so you can go visit for several days.❌Its full of people all the time though.
A great place that describe about the richness of Indonesian culture. The area is so vast so it takes a lot of time to see everything inside of this spot. Many stuffs offered as souvenirs for travelers. Veri unique and really enjoyed visiting this place.
Great place to see Indonesia ethnic buildings, plenty of museums too. Excellent place for the kids (and adultsto learn more about the ethnic diversity in Indonesia. The place is huge so you need to have personal transport.
Taman Mini is an animal zoo we visited. Jakarta has lots of beautiful tourist spots. The weather is just like the Phils. No time differences. They usually served spicy foods. Aside from the Indonesians muslims, are now lots of people in different nationalities come to visit and others have become residents already.
Taman mini is definitely a must visit with family and friends. One day is not enough!Gives wonderful glimpse of various islands of Indonesia with architecture, clothes, history. There are plenty of places to click nice pics, hv a chilled out time, doing picnic. If you go on sunny day, make sure you carry an umbrella or hat. I like to eat at lesehan near Papua area and Chaircar. Plenty of options.
What can you say about this place. Actually perhaps the best place to learn cultures in Indonesia or perhaps in South East Asia. Inside you can get the most museums in qty. One day wont be enough to explore every attractions , tmii was not new park, but The management really keep the place in solid clean and tidy. Really recommended
If you want to go to Taman Mini, better you go early in the morning to avoid traffic. Taman Mini offer cultural and day activities such as entertainment for kids. Emterence fee is low, so you can save the cost and its also have food stalls. You can choose to eat with in your budget. Before you go you can check the route map to maximize your time in Taman Mini. More outdoor activities in Taman Mini so you need to check the weather 😊 I spent less than 2 hundred thousand rupiah in Taman Mini. FYI they also have transport for you to move around 😊
A great place for hangout with friends and family, guide were truly friendly that he explained to us every part by part from the history museum, that truly amazed me.You can enjoy the beauty of Taman mini from Cable car, with a reasonable price(50.000rupiah. also, you can try the food test from South Sulawesi restaurant at a reasonable price.
A very good tourism spot. So many museums. But, low maintenance costs made some facilities deteriorated. They need increase its management
Its a huge park to visit once and hangout..The entry fees is 20k IDR per person.. For two wheeler its 10k and for car its 15k..Just after entering you can find rental scooters and cycles to travel around in the park.. They will quote high first so be ready to bargain.. you can get scooter for two hours in approx 120k..Also, there is a train that goes around and brings you back to the same spot.. you can see the garden in it also but it wont stop anywhere..The best way to get the complete view of garden is to sit in the "Cable Car".. its nice and you get to see the whole park.Note that cable car closes by 6 pm.. they charge 40k per person on weekdays and 50k per person on weekends..Another important thing, major attractions in the park closes by 5 pm.. for eg, the bird bark(entry fees separate, children palace(separate entry fees).. all these closes by 5 pm..This park basically shows all the places in Indonesia.. its culture..Its well maintained.. worth visiting once
a place where there are lots of miniatures of traditional Indonesian houses, a large place with a strategy location can be as a family tourist place or office gathering, the price of masuo tickets is affordable, there are many prayer rooms and toilets, many snacks there too. recommend tours
Suitable place to spend your weekend with family.Tickets are very affordable, Rp 15kYou can enjoy its surroundings by this shuttle bus (cheapestor gondola.I suggest you to visit this place when the weather is nice, mostly its in outdoor spaces
The best place in INDONESIA, this is a complete representation of whole Indonesia in one single place, in here you get to learn the history, culture and ways of every part of their country together with its differences. It is a wonderful place for fun and discoveries. Worth the visit.
The place is a massive place that is challenging to navigate. But when you do, it is an amazing display of different cultures from across the nation. On the weekend they have dance and music competitions and exhibitions that really can be spectacular. I recommend the cable car to give an overview of the park. Be aware that certain locations close frequently at odd times. And be sure to ask the ticket booth at Komodo Museum whether they have dragons on view before you give them money. The dragons are often in quarantine.
There are areas that need fees but there are some that dont. Going to Taman Mini will give you a gist of Indonesia. I was told that its a must at one point of a local students life to visit this place. Learned some things about their culture when I went here. Its better to be with a local to better appreciate this place.
Quite a good place, but some places is kind of abandoned. The last time I went there I tried the cable car, it wasnt really a smooth trip, but quite interesting and fun.Despite of everything lacked, it is a good place to learn about Indonesia in general.
Overall, the hotel lobby, general places and room are nice and clean. However, several items in room such as towel and glasses cleanliness need to be improve. The breakfast food can be further improve too.
Best place to spend a day outdoors. Massive territory with many options of transportation. From bicycles and motorbikes to rent to buses, trains etc. Taman Mini Indonesia is the place where visitor is able to find out and understand culture of different ethnic groups of Indonesia. You can easily spend whole day exploring that beauties.Place is a must and very highly recommended.
Still needs some improvement here and there but they renewing bit by bit. A lot of interesting and informative place for children. You may need to pay here and there because entrance fee just to enjoy traditional houses and go around with car or motorcycle but you dont have to pay what you dont want. And mostly pretty cheap for museums.
The name represents its content.. The mini Indonesia summarize in one place. This is a legendary place for family recreational trip.If you seek a place to spend with your family and learn Indonesia culture, this place is recommended for you.The cleanliness of the place needs a lot of improvements. The entrance fee is cheap, but you must to pay for every place here and there so the sum of money spent will be much.So many facilities need to be renewed.Hope Taman Mini will keep improving more and more so it will bring more convenience to the visitors.
Awesome! I love the museums and pavilions. Ull get to taste a little bit of every states/provinces in Indonesia whos culturally diverse and unique.Food stalls are everywhere. Toilets and prayer rooms are easy to locate too!On Saturday nights they have cultural performances. Great for families with kids.
