Lovely park. Birds seemed to have good room for flying around when in the big cage. Also the Place seemed well kept. A bit too many peacocks if you ask me. 😄 But overall a great visit for 1-2 hours walking slowly around observing.

Making a visit to this place was 1 of my bucket list. So, I was delighted at the beginning of the trip. Despite we came during the weekends, no need to queue as there weren’t many visitors.Within the 1st 10-15mins, it was like ‘wowww!!!’ However it changed as we wandered further to the park. To be honest, the park from my POV isn’t as I expected. Reading some of the reviews, I can say it overrated.Nothing much to do at the park except to see some species of birds. No feeding or petting the birds. Some pathways were under renovation works, visitors were not allowed to cross. Such a disappointment! The experience & excitement not worth our money & time. I gave 2stars for the birds show only as it did amused us a bit. Conclusion:Even though we are the fans of birds & nature, the park is absolutely not our cup of tea. Please do some enhancements/improvements to your park. Thank you.

It is OK for me and there are room for improvements as well. The whole park is not too huge as it comprises of 4 zones. We enter from Zone 1 entrance then suggested route is start from the right which is zone 2 then only walk towards zone 3 and finally zone 4 where the amphitheatre located. Time spend approximately 2 to 3 hours with small kids. Here is my review on KL Bird Park.Attraction Highlight: We can encountered free birds walking around at zone 1 and zone 2. The top attractions in this 2 zones basically is the flamingo pond and also bubul land. One of the highlight in this zone is the lively peacock and witness the bird feather open up. Then head up to zone 3 for the hornbill site but I only see the cage hornbill and no free hornbill sightings. Zone 4 is where all the activities like parrot feeding, education center/school and also amphitheatre for the show. Many areas need improvement especially the new center or school where expectations is some learning center for kids but the place is rather empty and no interactions at all.Attraction Tips: We focus on the show time which is 12:30pm at the amphitheatre in zone 4. So we work around the timing and enter at 10:30am and just nice to follow the trail and catch the showtime. Personally the most interesting bird highlights is the Peacock at zone 2 and also the parrots feeding at zone 4. The parrots feeding got to pay RM2 just for the bird donations. It is a nice feeding experience. The rest is just OK and it is definitely a nice place to bring toddlers only but not teenager as it is rather boring from the student experience.

Affordable RM35 for locals. The best experience we had of KL. Birds are quite docile and the park is well managed. Staff are also kind enough to answer some questions we had about the birds.Open air, and plenty of space for visitors. We spent easily 4 hours here just reading the information, admiring the birds, watching the shows, feeding sessions and talking to the parrots. They even set up a netted tarp as a shade for the visitor walkway.

A very beautiful natural place without any sound pollution. You can sit and eat food in the presence of birds on the balcony.

KL Bird Park is located in the serene and scenic Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens, and is about 10 minutes drive away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. Birds are kept in their natural habitat over here. They are let free in the aviary which closely resembles their natural habitat. Bird lovers and children can spend nearly a whole day over here. The park houses about 3000 birds representing more than 200 species.

It’s very nice park for family or even individuals. My experience was nice because the park was quite and it was easy to walk around it and enjoy watching the birds. The ticket for adults is 75MYR around £15 for foreigners and the kids £10 so it’s up to you to judge the price . It’s not easy to walk if you have walking difficulties there are acess to wheelchair ♿️🦽 /kids push chair but still steep uphill . I recommend this park 👍🏾

Went at around 11am on a Friday and there was no queue whatsoever, and park was not busy. Cost 75RM.Nice aviary, many cute parrots and parakeets. Birds all seem happy enough.Particularly liked the umbrella cockatoo and the photo place, she is very sweet and affectionate and likes head strokes. Also says hello and bye bye.

9 August - Enjoyed our time at the KL Birdpark. Brought some friends from Africa to visit, and other young people as well whove never been here. Enjoyed the feeding time at 10:30 with many varieties of birds. Environment was comfortable for us with an overcast day. Be warned of mosquitoes (bring insect repellentand bird droppings (literally in front, behind and sometimes on you 😂😂). Saw storks which were much bigger than I remembered, and they were making nests (being mating season). Plenty of free roaming birds, though it feels like fewer birds around. Its been around 5 or 6 years since I last was here. The place is well maintained and the staff friendly. If you have any questions, the staff are most helpful. But if they are not around to help you with "bird" questions, Google is also a good companion.

Even though I live walking distance away, I never considered visiting the taman burung until my 10 year old sister came to visit. Full disclosure that shes fully obsessed with birds and knows all ornithological species better than I know where the public toilets are in Chinatown. She certainly had fun, and I probably would have enjoyed myself also if I didnt have to babysit her. But yes, I was super impressed by how comprehensive the range of birds were, from the birds the size of your thumb to the emus the size of a volleyball player. Everything was pretty well divided and the staff were nice to the visitors. My favourite section was the lorikeet (or was it parakeet? Anyway it was some -keetwhere you can come into the enclosed area, and you can interact with the birds. At some point you might get annoyed because the lorikeets are much too enamored with you and refuse to get off our shoulder. They might even try to eat your hair thinking that theyre worms. But hey, theyre pretty cute so I didnt mind so much.

Great interactive bird park to bring small kids. You can various birds wandering around you. Great experience for introducing birds to kids. The bird show is only 15 mins, kind of short, but the small kids will enjoy it. Do not miss it! The show time is 12.30pm and 3.30pm daily, depending on weather condition. Do plan your trip ahead.

Citizen adult ticket: rm35, Children:rm10. 3-11 yrs old consider children. The experience is nice. you can get really close to birds. Especially the peacocks and the flamingo. half meter distance and they wont fly away. Of course touching them isnt allowed. At 3.30pm there is Bird Show at Amphitheater, with tricks from Cockatiel, Parrots and Macaw. Entertaining show. The park itself is 95% shaded by large trees, so coming here during hot weather is no problem. There are also a lot gazebos and huts if you need to sit down and rest.

For the price they charge, it could have been better. Poorly maintained. You could only see the common type of birds here. The ostriches are surely not taken care of well. Felt really bad looking at it’s conditions. Been to the bird park in Singapore and was amazed looking at how they maintain the whole place and here in Malaysia?Foreign/ Local tourist can surely avoid this place. You rather go to the butterfly farm next door which is much butter.

I have to say Im totally amazed by what the park got to offer. To be honest i was expecting its just birds living in the cage but I was so wrong. This entire place is a cage itself and all the birds live freely within the ecosystem! Youll get all the birds appearing from no where, saying wild pidgey appears. Many beautiful peacocks, and free bird show at 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Brought my parents here and we spent solid 3hours indulging in the bird heaven. Very walking friendly and well maintained. Kudos to all the staffs. Totally recommended!

The admission ticket price is RM35 if you are an adult holding Mykad and u can get a lower price at RM 28 with Watsons card & BSN card. (The price may vary for Malaysian and Non-Malaysian, adult and children, so rmb to check at the official website.U can either purchase online or at the counter. There are four zones in the KL Bird Park to watch varieties of birds including milky stork, hornbill, Parrots, owls, ostriches and more. The staff will give u printed map and one wristband before you enter into the bird park. The HD map also available on the official website if you are lazy to carry the paper map.I love to feed the ostriches here, they are so cute!!! Im not going to upload the pictures and videos that catches up the cuteness of the birds as I hope everyone can go to watch them by yourself!! Its really cool to view the bird in a short distance and observe them! I spent more than 3hours here to observe and take photos of every kind of birds here! The staffs here also super friendly which they did really welcome us with big smile and enthusiastic attitude! Overall, Im really satisfied with the experience here.OhyaSome doubts about the birds are I did see some abnormal behaviour of the birds like:1Some parrots(esp those in the photo boothare self-harming cz some their feathers are fall off2One male peacock in the Zone 4 have really broken tail feathers3Owls in the hunter area should not awake on the day time but the staff move them to outside to let visitors to take photos...not sure whether the bird park abuse them or not

No line for tickets on a weekend but we came early. Avoided the crowd by avoiding bird feeding times, but generally not too bad.The paths were a bit steep at areas and slightly slippery because it was after the rain. They had closed one of the paths that was stroller friendly and we had to carry the stroller up the stairs as there were no alternatives if we didn’t want to turn back. I think this was an oversight as the other areas of the park were fine and it was otherwise quite pleasant to walk around.Birds looked healthy and well cared for, and there were a large variety of beautiful birds that were easily spotted. Wasn’t uncommon to see birds flying around and swooping nearby. Aviary was quite clean.Overall a pleasant experience!

I think its a good place to relax and unwind (I especially like the duck and rooster enclosure). The birds are quite various. The show was very entertaining, with the parrots as the main stars. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to the park. But, I do hope that the cleanliness and the maintenance of the parks gardens will improve (especially for Area 1).

This place can recall many childhood memories, especially you can bring your kids and revisiting after decade. Like the way that birds can have freedom as nature here, the tickets for Malaysian also very reasonable, we should support KL Bird Park or other local theme parks to let them overcome the pandemic lost. During the Bird Show, can see the passion of staffs here. It’s good that at the center of KL city center, a green lung keep for the birds, also for the citizens.

Great place to go with kids. Open air, like a walk through the jungle. But the birds will walk besides you and arent afraid of people. Not too crowded, even on weekends. Ticket price is very reasonable for the experience too. Friendly staff there who are happy to talk about birds. Even on a hot day, theres plenty of shade. Tempted to just come here one day with a laptop and just hang around.

For RM35, this is an excellent place to spend an afternoon at. The overall park is much larger than expected, with a lot of free-roaming birds around. The park appears to be pretty well maintained, the birds themselves appear to be in good health, and there are little gacha machines around that sell bird/fish food that visitors can use to feed the birds around. Some birds are bold enough to wander close to visitors as well, especially in Zone 1.The zones are neatly separated by double gates, with a waterfall on one end and a lovely walk by a stream on the other. There are a lot of feeding spots around (with ample papaya slices placed on themwhere visitors can respectfully observe birds eat and interact with each other. The park is also large enough that it didnt seem crowded, despite seeing a healthy number of visitors. Despite the whole park being open air, there is plenty of shade and seating areas scattered throughout the park, which makes the walkaround more pleasant. If you get the opportunity to observe the birds feeding times, do! Its a great opportunity to observe some of the rarer birds eat, and some spots will allow visitors to feed the birds directly (for example, feeding the lories for a small fee of RM2).

Perfect destination to enjoy your day with nature and spectacular birds in the city centre. Its really grateful to see the way they maintain the flora and fauna including the waterfalls. The birds are very friendly and enjoy giving poses for our photograph shoot. The zones are clearly defined to plan our journey and preferences. The facilities inside the park are in good condition including the public toilets.

The park costs RM35 for Malaysian adults. They have interesting species of birds and some of them are free roaming like the peacocks, which was nice. You can get quite up close and personal with some of the birds that are not caged. You can also pay to feed them, which makes for an interesting experience. The park is quite big, but we didn’t see a huge variety of birds. There’s a huge waterfall aviary which was quite beautiful but it was underwhelming as there were not many birds there. If you would like to check out a variety of feeding sessions and also the bird show, plan your time accordingly. The daily schedule is on the website. Parking is also limited but you can opt for the multi level carpark which is a 10 min walk away. Expect to spend around 2-3 hours in the park, depending on how much you love birds.

I opted for the multi level parking which around 10 minutes walk to avoid the parking chaos. Unfortunately there was no buggy or shuttle going to/from the multilevel carpark. So consider dropping off the passenger before that. For photographers, this is an excellent spot to practice. Seems 70-200mm lens is the most suitable here, unless youre a ninja.
