Description
Privilege
Great place to relax & exercise . Visited here on weekend, not much crowded. Recommend to come with friends, family
MoreThe view was so beautiful, the right place to spend your weekend with your friends. I got to see animals and nature. The best place for healing. 🤍
MoreIts a very nice place for picnic or any kind of activities. But the place just need a little bit of revocation. Beside that there are alot of fun things to do there and you can get a free ride as well. And also if you are wondering, there is an entrance fee.
MoreGreat place to visit with friends and family for all sort of healthful activities! Love it more if pets are allowed 🙂
Morereally nice place to joging, cycling. theres a lot of activities u can do here.
Good nature environment. But lack of the information for tourist like signboard of the plant and etc.Don’t have restaurant inside but do have some food & drink stall running by local.Good to come but just another nature park.
MoreAmple parking spot, Bukit Sapu Tangan is a must hiking trail, suitable for all level.
MoreLarge place and nice outing spot for family. Suggest to bring your own bike if you have it. Rental bikes are not very well maintained.
MoreWas fun and a challenging cyling, the ups and downs, wonderful scenery but sadly most of the places we look forward to look at was under renovation. All around no food stalls were not open except the one near entry and exit, luckily we brought our own mineral water.
MoreNice area to walk around and cycle. While exercising you can also do some pit stop at their Animal Farm where you can see Deers and Horses.
MoreSince moving to Shah Alam, my go to place to sweat will be at taman botani or shah alam community forest. Big space to explore, well maintain, ample space and not that crowded so I like it.Entrance fees : RM3.00In park transport:1Van : Free2Bike : RM15/h3E-bike : RM35/h or you can req for 30mins (which will not be enough to explore all places)4beam scooter
MoreHuge and good place for my morning walk, can hike also. But some spots are under-maintained. Got tram so no worries if come with family. Entrance fee Rm 3/adult. Parking also nice la. Can rent bicycle. Got cafe also but not friendly staff there. nvm because u can buy pau and drinks at the stalls inside. Overall, I love the trail and the fun at the kayak and flying fox station. Will repeat for sure!
MoreIts very well deserve for those who are in busy schedule but still require a nature healing within the city area.
MoreThis place is huge. Entrance ticket RM3 for adult. Can rent bicycle for RM15 first hour, with RM1 every subsequent hour. The archery is fun too but a bit too pricey RM10 for 15 arrows, if hit bullseye or the balloon can get 2 arrows back. Places are a bit dirty but overall great place to visit with couples, friends or family. I cant explore the entire park within 2 hours, probably will go again next time.
MoreThe place is very well maintained and clean! Love the vibes here, be sure to turn left after the entrance if youre aiming for the peak of bukit sapu tangan or bicycle renting @ Rm15 only! , otherwise go straight for the many other activities. Great spot for family time!
MoreGreat place for hiking, running, cycling.. thumbs up to entrance fee waiver for kids and warga emas. Happy to see some large trees remained. Hope not fall for mans greed. Maintenance of landscape & advertisement could be intensified to attract more visitors.
MoreA lot of path and facilities is under maintenance and poor condition. The park is big enough for a long walk or jog for easily more than 3hrs+ to go to all spot.Nice view and can enjoy natureEntrance fee is rm3 for adult and rm1 for kid and senior.
MorePreviously known as Bukit Cerakah drg my childhood, then Bukit Cahaya Sri Alam.. now Taman Botani Negara. Different names but still the same nice, green place. Per entry rm3 for adult and rm1 for children.Good track to bring children too. Just be careful with bicycle riders. Brings food and water for your children. For small children, might end up need to carry them though.. 😅😅. Alternatively beside hike up to Bukit Sapu Tangan, my niece and nephews enjoy doing the flying fox. Only RM 15 per ride.Great weekly activity.
MoreSuggestions walk better than take bike due to its mountain ride... Dont expect normal bike can go up... Else you will cry to push bike... if you want can rental private one inside there but not bike... There is shuttle bus only half way and go back...
MoreAll good, can add more activities to attracted people i.e, annual events..monthly events, etc.
MoreRent your bike here and enjoy the hilly route. The bikes arent entirely in great condition so do be careful while riding.
MoreGreat place for running, cycling or to enjoy nature. Great for kids too.
Place could be better.Rent from those bicycle from those place but check condition before leaving test ride and brake condition.Plan well lots of uphill if bringing kids and elderly. Bring some dry foods too. Check some place may still be close.
MoreThis is a nice place for outdoor activies. Please do some research on who to bring. What bike to rent. What route to take. Bring Enough water but not too much.A lot of uphill so walking might be stressful for kids and elderly. DO NOT RENT BEAMS. Rent from those stall but test the bikes for brakes and stuff before leaving. Some bikes are not in very good condition.Bring some snacks dry food might get hungry on the way.Place could be a lot better if Government took more care of it. Can spends lot of time there so much to see. Plan it well it will be fun for everyone
MoreOne of my favourite Botanical Gardens in Selangor. This place is also formally knows as Bukit Cerakah and has been here for over 30+ years. I still visit this place for my birdwatching from time to time, and my last trip here was 14 May 2022.Overall, the place is huge, with a massive walking loop that takes around 2 hours to complete. However, many will walk half way, and turn back. The good news is there are bicycle rentals available here, mostly mountain bikes and some electric bicycles. Prices vary, but seems like many opt for cycling around here. There a park shuttle bus available and great for those wanting to go to other areas in the park.Great place for singles, couples and even families. Price is RM3 for locals, RM1 for seniors above 60. Prepare to spend at least 3-5 hours. And on weekends, it can get crowded. Park opens 7.30am, and by 7am, theres already people waiting to go in. Recommended.
MoreGood place for family times, some part of the park is well maintained and some not well maintained
MorePerfect place for family and friends to spend time together with the nature! The entrance fee is only RM3 per head. There’s many activities to do here such as hiking, cycling and just exploring nature and animals. You can rent out bicycles so that you can explore the whole place (you wont be able to explore all if you dont ride bicycle)While there’s also another fun activities like flying fox, kayak, archery (these need to pay if not mistaken RM10 - RM15 per activities)
MoreLovely and relatively well maintained place, they charge a nominal entrance fee. We enjoyed seeing the farm animals like buffalo, ponies, deer. However please exercise caution when you spot monkeys. We were waiting on the road from around 60 m away for a family of monkeys to cross the road and one suddenly charged towards me and my baby. Needless to say we nope-nope-nope and ran for our lives. Not today king kong!
MoreVery huge place to walk, hike and cycle. RM3 per adult for entrance fee ticket. There are scooters for rent, a lot of people bike around here but be mindful the road would be uphill and downhill for cycling. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you around bus stops inside the garden should you have a family, so no worries to cover the ground concerning childrens ability to cope. Albeit under-maintained as well, strongly urge the management to do improvement to the place with entrance fee payed by public. It has good mix of forest vibes and good roads to walk on. Definitely a great place to catch weekend exercises. The pinned drop location itself has a huge parking lot to park many cars.
MoreA great place for a family outing/camping/team bonding with friends as there are various activities & sites to visit.Free parking available. RM3 entrance fee. Keep the map of the park with you.The bikes were very affordable as stated by many, you can rent a normal bicycle (RM15 + RM1 for every hour/electronic bicycle (RM30 + RM5 for every hour, suitable when riding with kids), beam scooters were also available. Make sure to test the breaks, test the ride, check the gears & check for flat tires before riding off for the day. They accept cash & online banking.**recommend to get electronic bikes/Beam scooter if you dont want to cycle up steep hills. There were some parts that are not advisable to ride, due to the steep hill, nonetheless bring the bikes along with you as its only certain areas that are restricted. With the presence of monkeys, stay calm & walk in groups (team up with another group of people if necessaryas the monkeys can be aggressive. Most areas arent shaded, therefore its advisable to bring umbrella/wear caps. We also noticed some nature photographers present.Free bus shuttle is available at certain stops if you prefer to rest after the long walk. Public toilets are also available at certain areas. Drinks/food are only available at the entrance.Overall it was a nice scenic walk, not that crowded too (came during Ramadan month, on a public holiday). Roads were wide, hence we could maintain social distancing. Since its a huge park, we walked more than 10k steps. 1 day isnt enough to visit the whole compound. Bring along light snacks to fuel up (but careful of monkeys).**we did not participate in any activities neither visit any of the sites (except for the fishing lake & the water dam), hence unable to comment about the maintenance/fees.Hope youve found this helpful 😊
MoreRude staff, COVID SOP not followed and most "attractions" are in condition of disrepair for many years. No clear signage as well. Not worth your time and money.
MoreThis big place is very suitable to bring a bicycle or scooter, if you want to walk from the entrance to the zoo can also stand far, there is a shuttle bus service available, so it is very suitable for cyclists, want to relax bring an electric bike because there is a road up, tired a little want to paddle, beautiful area full of natural forest wood, very peaceful here, there is a zoo but many empty cages may impact pkp before .. hopefully there are back animals like before, want to jog is suitable, kayaking is also available , I hope this park is as lively as ever with a mini zoo ..
MoreGreat experience as you can take a free shuttle ride before deciding your route for discovery
MoreActivity filled park. Entrance fees RM3. you can hire cycle adult for RM15. Great place to be..
MorePlace was great! However lack maintenance… Even the tower at top of Bukit Sapu Tangan - what could’ve been a landmark as a viewing point is now just a mere structure
MoreGreat place to enjoy greenery while cycling (bike, e-scooter, e-bike rentals availablearound with friends and family. There is a moderate road trailing track to a tree house. Unfortunately, you cant go up the treehouse as its worn down and the stairs are broken. There is also a fishing lake and a few small animal farms.
MoreIt’s a good place to enjoy nature and workouts. Recommended for all stages of ages
MoreRainforest is the theme! Its tar road all along. Main artery roads with many diversions/attrations inside. Ticket only rm 3 for adult. Kids rm 1. Follow the road can reach the mini empangan. Cooling even at 10 am because of the very tall trees. The google map point is where the empangan is. I saw some monkeys..thats all. Love the place. can rent bicycle at rm 15 for a day. Non stop walking up slope from payment counter, about 1 hour to the empangan.
MoreIts admission fee was RM 3/person only. For ardent cyclists who love to ride on hilly track, bring your own bicycles. While those who want to refresh their riding skills, can rent it on hourly basis from an in-house operator. For those who like adventure, flying fox, pedal boat and kayak activities were also available.
MoreGreat place to bring kids and family members. You can have a tram ride for 15 minutes. Stop for a walk, see the nature and deers. Even you can try flying fox, kayaking or archery. The fee was cheap also.
MoreThe place is sadly different before Covid Era. There were very few animals to be visited at Animal Farm - they have two rabbits, a bird, chicken, ducks, deer, horses (at the stable), more chicken... They used to have more animals and there was horse riding section too. Rumah empat musim was closed too so it was disappointing. Really hope these can be upgraded and more children friendly activities and attractions can be provided. The good thing is - the place is surrounded with ton of trees, friendly for the joggers, cyclists, walkers and the ticket fee is really affordable.
MoreWent for cycling today, for people who not always do exercise like me, is was quite tiring cause there are lot small hills 😂The entrance fees for the park is RM3 for adult, we rent the bike for RM15 per hours for each bike... however there are 2 stalls for bike renting...Overall the scenery quite nice, the park is big and the people is not so lot...hence we able to maintain social distancing...there also lot others activities provided i.e. rock climbing, flying fox, archery and rowing with extra charges...There also got animal parks, which suitable to bring kids there 👍🏻Bus also provided for you inside the park....Overall a good place for outdoor natural activity 😊
MoreSpacious park, can grab a bicycle there for 15 rm for the first hour. Then each hour 1 rm 😉 good alternative if you tired of all KL parks and activities. They have catamarans on the lake, canopy bridge and little animal farm
MoreFirst visit here with some friends. Huge area.Plenty open car parks and it was free. Entrance fee was RM3 per adult. We were thinking of renting bikes to cycle around but each was RM15 per hour...which was too pricey for us. Decided to hike up the lookout tower which was at Bukit Sapu Tangan. It took us an hour to walk up the hill from the entrance. Some part were steep and not suitable for bicycling but that didnt stop some people. We were happy to finally reached the tower but the staircase were broken!!! It was such a disappointment. The management of the park should have maintained it better. Some smaller trails were covered by shrubs and creeping plants too. It is an embarrassment to tourists. The view would have been great up there. We saw part of a beautiful skyline with clouds above the hill peaks, a lake and residential area. Overall it was a fun hike. You need longer hours to cover the other parts of the park. Tram car was provided too.Not sure about the fee though.
MoreBeautiful nature with proper maintenance and SOP.. suggest to come on weekends because they have a lot of food stalls on Saturday and Sunday.. Children will love this place very much.. The entrance fees for adults is rm30, kids rm1.. They also provide shuttle bus that always fetch the visitors every 10-15 minutes..
MorePoorly maintained however this means you will have privacy for the kayaking, wall climbing, bus ride, flying fox, visiting few antics, cycling or jogging. Been here a few times with kids and friends. Give this place to a real entrepreneur and they’ll make sure the ROI is worth it. Moral of the story, don’t overown something you can’t maintain in the future. Own a smaller house, smaller garden or smaller land. Same goes to Kelab Shah Alam and other government initiatives.
MoreBig park with ample parking lots. Entrace fee for adults is RM3 & RM1 for kids. You can either opt to bring your own bicycle, rollerblades, scooters or rent from one of the rental shops there. Baby/child seats also available. If you dont feel like cycling, just ride the free bus around the park instead. Cheap flying fox across a lake for RM10 located near the animal park. The paddy field makes you feel like you’re in Kedah and not in Shah Alam.
MoreA very huge park with many attractions, its nice to explore all of this by bikes and if possible, bring your own bicycle seat comforter to have a better riding experience. The famous Skytrex is here too in case you wanna try it out
MoreTaman Botani Negara Shah Alam is located in Shah Alam and charges an entrance fee of RM 3 per entry; RM 1 for senior citizens 55 years and above and free for OKU. The park is very large but unfortunately the facilities are not well maintained. The bus only runs on the weekend and there are bicycles for rent. It is alright for a spot or walking or cycling exercise and there were only a few visitors when I went during a weekday morning. Staff at the entrance were friendly and polite.
MoreFor just RM3, can explore a very big park filled with many animals and attractions. Riding bicycles is recommended given the large area to be covered. One day is not enough to explore the whole park. Nice place to go with family!
