Taksim The Restro Bar in New Delhi

One star just because of the food. Rest its a waste of money.. On the name of dessert they just have a list of three on there menu however u will not even get a single dessert when u order it.. 6 shakes on menu but u wont get anything apart from mojito or mocktails.. Waste of time money mood.. It was the first time i came across such restro.. Honestly, i would never recommend or visit such a stupid place ever again. 👎

Average food, most of dishes are not available, very loudly music. Cocktail glasses are full of ice cubes

A nice Cosy restaurant with an outdoor seating. Veg dishes are limited but lot of good non veg options are there. Just a small complaint about the small portion size of grilled fish and grilled chicken steak (as compared to their pricewhich we had ordered among other dishes. Main course dishes quantity were also less in quantity IMHO.

Food is ok. Service slow. Ambience absolutely not worth it. Its old doesnt smell fresh..

Ambient and decent place for evening parties, courageous staff. Prices are also decent and many options available in liquor menu, okay washrooms and pleasant arena in open air. Recommended for evening hangouts

DJ was not ready to lower the volume and kept playing at full (doubleblast even when requested multiple times. The loud music added no value to the ambience.

Winter night. Heater right next to us and good music. Thats is what this place offers. Food is no doubt good here and service is apt. Crowd is great.

Taksim courtyard, it has two sitting a classy indoor sitting and a lush green outdoor sitting. So, i was there for sunday brunch. They have recently started there sunday brunch in 399+ and 799+ option with two drinks. In started i had:Margarita pizza - it was in naan shape and had amazing cheese layer. But i think it should be more cheesy.Palak patta mili fili chaat- totally loved it. It had aloo , chutney, curd, masala and fried spinach.In main course i hadThai curry- It was nice in taste.Kadahi chicken and naan- I loved the chicken very delicious. A must try dishMain course served with hari chutney and onionIn dessert i had- chocolate slide cake: a must try for chocolate lovers. It had dark thick chocolate layer which was very yummy in taste.Banoffie pie- It was three layered cake that was bread, mashed banana and chocolate layer.In drinks i had:-Summer cyclist- It had orange, strawberry mixed color. I liked the drink.The quantity of food was enough for two person.But i think they need to improve there service.Overall a nice place to dine..

Very beautiful place. I love the interior they habe two sitting areas and a bar. Outdoor area is very beautiful. I had drinks, Banoffee pie, chocolate mud slide cake, chicken kadahi and naan, margarita pizza, the food is nice. Service a bit slow but staff was polite. I think it is a nice place to dine

Nice place for groups food is decent but unhygienic place dirty glasses and cutlery. Really dirty washrooms and all.

Awful and rude attitude of the management! Two village jaat rowdies Stopping and questioning people at entrance does not bode well for a sruggling restaurant. But once inside, the serving staff and the food was pleasant enough to dull the bad experience entering the venue left!

The place is excellent for a group visit, the ambience is great, the sitting arrangements are excellent but the best thing about this place is the amazing food it serves...It has one of the tastiest food in whole of Delhi, I went there for my birthday celebration, they made an amazing cake for me, it was delicious, the dish Iiked the most was the chicken steaks, it has inside as well as outside sitting arrangements both are very nice, do visit this place once 😁

It is an enjoyable place with a nice outdoor complex and a very decent bar (or so Ive heard), but the overall vibe, with the packed and stuffy atmosphere, and the food can see improvements.

Good place, very affordable prices, Wednesday karaoke is the day to go. Food is good, no parking hassles. And the staff is friendly. Recommend it.

Among some big names, Taksim is a very nicely build restaurant / lounge what ever you call it . They have a outdoor seating /smoking area. Talking about the staff they were polite and friendly, suggested some of they delicious delicacy , that we ordered too and it was yummy indeed 😍Lets just focus in main thing food, we tried quite a few different things, starting with,Chili basil chicken i must say it was perfectly cooked, you could taste both chilli and basil in it, a perfect blend of both flavors. (hungry Column approved"😅Bombay chicken Pav a improved version on vada pav for non vegetarian, it had a minced chicken patty and chutneys in it. Decent place.. Not the top ones but not that bad.. They had outside sitting area.. We were there to celebrate our friends bday.. We had fun and the staff was very kind and patient with us.. DJ on the other hand was very rude.. We requested some songs for the bday people and he rejected.. He played some really bad music. But overall place was good

A lil boring plus the outdoor seating during the summer season is awful as the cooling system keeps throwing water on your face and water keeps dropping on tables, on your food, drinks etc. and makes the whole place humid. So not a very good place to sit.

Great place, good food , good music, loved the water spray effect, very refreshing.Good place to spend time with ones family and friends.Ordered peanut masala..was served in a serving dishes designed as a shell.Also had fish steak ,was truly awesome, very light , not at all oily.Also ordered chicken Tikka , that was just ok.Soup was also yummy.

We have been visiting a multitude of joints in the Ansals area and somehow we kept missing the place. However, this time we were determined to experience the hospitality of Taksim.We had booked our tables via Zomato but got horribly late in arriving to the place. We walked at a brisk pace to reach the place a little over 9:05 pm and were guided by the staff to our seats(only outdoor seating was available but Zomato still asked for our preference which I entered as INDOORSwhich were horribly close to the exit/waiting area.We were informed that the indoors seating was unavailable due to a private party going on at the joint. We did not mind the outdoor seating as the weather was amazing with wind blowing at regular intervals and the ambience of the place with music playing in the background and little droplets of water being sprinkled via fan added to the whole charm.We started by ordering our appetisers which included Orange Basil Mojito and Whiskey(courtesy Zomato Golds 2+2as drinks, Bombay Chicken Pav, Palak Patte ki Milly Filly Chaat and Chili Paneer. The paneer was well coated with the spicy mixture and the chicken in the bombay pav was succulent and well grilled. The sauce offered with it had the right levels of tang. The highlight however was the Milly Filly Chaat with its crisp Spinach leaves and a topping of fruits, potatoes and curd. This multiple leveled dish will always be close to my heart.Next, we went in for a light main course which included All Fungi pizza. The base was crisp and the cheese was gooey with a good spread of mushrooms. My father in particular really enjoyed the pizza.We ended our dinner outing with the dessert course that included Baked Cheese Cake and Chocolate Terrine. The cheese can was okay but the Terrine won my heart. 3 layers of distinct tasting chocolate with a dressing of Caramel around and light dusting of cocoa powder really gave the dish a good amount of shine and character with amazing taste.The service was good for a packed joint but my only complaint will be about out seating arrangement. The place was too close to the exit so it felt that at almost everytime, there was someone or another standing on our heads. Also, there was a constant stream of people coming out of the joint, standing near us and having a long smoke right on our heads which really ruined the mood. It was only after our repeated complaint and a mild outburst from my mother that the restaurant staff were willing to change our seating. The only plus point in this was that they were a bit understanding in nature and searched for a new seating place prompt albeit after repeated complaint.Overall, the establishment is a fine example of new age restro-bars coming up in Delhi specially around the South Delhi area and I will be bringing my friends along next time to enjoy the joints ambience in a bit more casual way.My rating: 4/5 | Please change the placement of the tables near the exit/waiting area.

Great romantic place for those beautiful dinner dates.

Winters are bountiful for the hospitality industry. People are forthcoming in dining out in the Christmas – New Year season. Hence new restaurants spring and bloom this part of the year. Taksim is one such resto-bar and we were invited for the launch.

The place is good...cosy and service is also up to the mark...food is not as good as one would like for a place like this.

ambience is just fine.. as music is playing in the background not that great.. out door sitting has nice water sprinklers all around to beat the heat.. they serve alcohol and hookah.. nice mocktails as well.. food is good.. north food like dal makhani, roti, naan is really good.. hookah is average.. and service is little slow.. good place to have conversations over a beer or just a friendly dinner..

It was a very unpleasant experience in terms of the quality of food and drinks...though the staff is very nice and service was good..But good service only complements good food..i was embraced in front of my guests..

Went to this hyped place in our long old ansal plaza and was truly impressed by this place. It truly lived up to its reputation. The food was exquisite and the the cocktails were really well made . The best part was service with a smile is their motto. Amazing place. Go on Wednesday for sufi bands and Fridays for expat nights. You wont be disappointed.

Bad experience in Taksim. 16.06.17 (Friday Night)i went with bunch of colleagues to Taksim Ansal plazar who were also a foreigners.When we asked for beers the bartender would always say they only have imported beers ( hoegaarden, Heinekenfor the foreigners when we could see them servicing kingfisher ultra to other indians.Well i happen to be indian too and i live rite opposite the mall south ex part2 A.block. You cant discriminate people for your own extra business benefits. Get some sense of business hospitality if you wanna survive in the market or you just become a momentary flashy start up and vanished forever like the others you might have seen around.We came to your place as a neighbour to chill out because we also own an international store right opposite your bloody cheater restaurant.I have already warned your bartender and the guys whoever was at the entry that im gonna give this review on your management. Its the management faults when you guys cant provide the hospitality to the costumers.(its funny that just because some people are outsiders or foreigners you only have the higher priced liquor for them, they also bloody want to taste your indian products God dammed itDont be greedy.THANK YOU

Tried this place by chance. Was a bit apprehensive as was with friends and kids but what a place. Got a lovely corner seating for 6+3.. good food, reasonable price, staff which is always on its toes and comfy set-up. Went back more than happy.

The menu boasts of having world cuisine and is quite balanced in terms of the offerings. It certainly is a step ahead of the other lounges where presentation does not matter; the food is served here in king size platters and bowls. Some of the dishes we would recommend from the starter section are the oriental CHICKEN DIMSUMS, DAHI KE SHOLAY and PALAK PATTA CHAAT. From the Mediterranean section one should not miss the classical, CHICKEN SHAWARMA. The CHELLO KEBAB, the mint flavored lamb served on a bed cous cous infused rice with a topping of fried egg is a must try. The pizza lovers would love their wood fired BUTTER CHICKEN PIZZA and CORN AND SPINACH PIZZA. End your meal with the sinful range of desserts, BLUEBERRY CHEESCAKE and BANOFFIE PIE being our favorites.
