My wife and I were here 3 months ago. It was so nice from the rooms to the restaurant. Also the workers that work hard there were very polite. There was nothing bad I can say about this place except what was out of there control which is that it is hard to get to but once you get there its all worth it!

If i could rate this more than 5/5 i would. What a fantastic hidden treasure this place is. Make it a stop for sure. From the great staff to the very unique decor, will leave you with a unforgettable holiday. The food is just as tasty as well. Dont forget to give Ozzie a scratch. The dog is totally lovable and even greeted us on our arrival. Complete with his furry rabbit haha. Definitely will return here!

I feel torn on writing a favorable review, knowing that this little gem may someday be a popular destination. This place is amazing! We had a wonderful experience, starting with the boat ride to the beach of the resort, to the last day, having breakfast and enjoying the serene views and sounds.

Food portion is quite big which of course I enjoyed very much 😊.

Its artistically designed and gives you a homey-feeling. Lots to discover on your stay. The staff are great! Truly away from the maddening crowd. A perfect getaway.

Beautiful, well maintained beach resort. Food is excellent, friendly staff and clean white sand shore. Suitable for couples not recommended for big groups due to the limited places.

The design and decor is incredibly, amazingly detailed.The overall vibe is peaceful and relaxing.The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable (but no bidets in the CR 😔). Price is reasonable.The food is very good but a bit pricey (about 400+ per serving).The lounge chairs at the beach could use some cushion (theyre very hard and quite uncomfortable for long-time lounging).The staff are super friendly and helpful.

A wonderful quirky place that is well worth a visit. Their homemade ice cream is out of this world! The subset views are superb and it is ready to get a boat back to Sipalay beach.If this review is helpful please like it.

This place is just the best! Not crowded and beautiful Sugarbeach with friendly people all around. Takatuka is a unique resort with themed rooms and you feel like Pippi Langstrumpf. The owners and the staff are amazing and know how to spoil their guests. We will be back!

Wonderful place to relax,swim,eat and just Chill. Quirky rooms but well thought out and comfortable. Menu is huge and something for everyone. The staff are all helpful and friendly.

Very good and delicious food. Although they have a varied menu, anything I order is available. My favorite is their lasagna!Room was very well thought of. They give so much attention to details! Very artistic and what is best is that they use some recycled things for decorations or other uses, which is good for mother earth!Will go back definitely!

Great place, great owners and staff. The atmosphere and service is great and prices are very reasonable. WARNING!!Absolutely do not stay at the resort next to it (Bermuda beach resort).

If u want a relaxing, stress-free vacation this is the place to be. Although traveling by land is time-consuming and a pain in the butt, still the view, the place, the sand and the cleanliness of the beach suffice it all. The staff are courteous and accommodating, we were greeted and assisted by Ms. Heide who made sure everything went well. I love the graphics and designs of the place, esp our room - the Cave. Salamat guys, you made our wedding anniversary vacation memorable and special.

All is good, food, friendly owner, only the service in retaurant is not so good because the waitress not checking their customers if have some more order or no, everytime i have follow up order i always come n the counter to find the waitress,

This place is a rare gem seldom found! It is hard to get to, but well worth the effort! Solidly built rooms that are comfortable and clean. Gourmet food at its finest, reasonably priced.

Takatuka is easily the best resort/dive lodge I have ever visited. The sunsets alone will blow your mind. I can not say enough good things about this place.

TAKATUKA DIVE AND BEACH RESORT IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I SPENT MY HOLIDAY WITH. My wife and I never regret choosing this place to spend our honeymoon with. The lodges and bar designs are really peculiar..and the interior design of our room is superb!!! I felt amazed by its sights inside. This resort is really cozy...your eyes will never get bored looking at its colorful fresh surroundings..and the beach is really clean and nice. We are so thankful also to the owner and staffs who were very warmth in welcoming us and they are very entertaining. Unique & nice place, good hosts & staff, great food, best sunset! We had a brief but great stay in this resort. Cathy was helpful with the directions going to their place. Once we were there, all the staff are very accommodating. The place has a very fun, vibrant vibe with lots of interesting details from the common areas and even in the private rooms. Wide selection of food too and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Will definitely come back and stay longer next time.

Very nice! I was there a few days ago, but please dont tell too many people about this place because overwhelming tourism is good for business but will eventually destroy these last remaining Paradises.

A very unique and special place, full of wonders - starting with the decoration of the whole resort (including restaurant and roomsto the food. After 6 weeks in Asia I was very happy to eat those tasty Rösti with cheese :)

Back in April-May, I stayed at this Lodge. I cannot, in all honesty, say enough good about Takatuka. It was an absolute dream to stay in for the perfect beach, beach grounds and areas to sit, lay and relax. It is owned by the nicest couple in the world. Shes French and he is Swiss-German. They are hosts like few others. This is an artistic theme resort and I guarantee you, theres nothing else like it in the world. The imagination, quality, creative motifs of each room is simply incredible. I had the African room and every detail is expertly done. The food, every bite, was to die for, gourmet quality with reasonable prices. This place is really like a dream and families especially would LOVE it. Rating "10", Jon M, US.
