Rude behaviour

Being Indian i can say they are super rude and scammer, do not come here to waste time, money and energy. This is not atall Indian Culture. Tooooo rude, smelly place

Excellent indian food!

The lamb biryani tasted like in Jaipur. If you want to have authentic Indian food, thats the place to go

** The server/waiter is a scammer, he would talk with you very nicely and would bill the items with increased price during the checkout.- Not Recommended.- Food is average, quantity is very low.- The restaurant is very nicely decorated with Indian tradition decors. The atmosphere will give you that you are sitting in India. The owner & his wife is very kind and welcoming.- Requesting the owner to look at this matter.

The owners are warm and very very helpful. Food was excellent. Masala chai was perfect. Nimbu paani 👍👍❤️❤️

Its small restaurant with Indian accesories inside, but they have a space to eat and drink backyard restaurant with a river view. Its nice to seat especially in summer time.The self service menu we have is Naan (traditional bread), chicken biryani rice, chicken curry, vegetables.Some people afraid of spicyness of Indian Cuisine, but it is not. It is mild spicy so you can enjoy it.

Very tasty food and friendly service

The owner served us in the small patio behind the restaurant and just above the river. We had some starters and two vegetarian main courses. The food was good and the service was courteous. Good place for a quiet meal among intimates.

Beautiful resturant , awesome food , brings the taste of india . Visited here in 2017 . Tried Biriyani with lamb , the taste was really authentic and staffs and owner were very polite . Offered us Gulab Jamun after the lunch . Must visit to taste great Indian food here

Wouldn’t recommend, the terrasse was not cleaned with mice running around and food wasn’t fresh at all.

Super good Indian food! A bit pricey but worth it. Great vegetarian and vegan options too.

Delicious food but a bit pricey

Its not a great place for diners but can be a life saver if one is looking for Indian food.

Not sure why the rating of the place is so low.. we have been there with a voucher from one of a "surprise boxes". We got a vegan menu and a nice lime-aloe drink. The food was great and I think we were served by the owner who was very happy to describe the dishes and help with choice of drinks. The atmosphere is nicely authentic with Indian deco and music. We had a great evening!

Worst ever! Multiple items on bill that were not served - only discovered by accident as I normally do not check the bill much, found human hair in curry sauce, waiter did not know about availability of alcohol free beer, waiter brought items which werer clearly not ordered; very long waiting, outside terrace was very filthy; curry sauces of 2 different dishes tasted almost the same; - simply worst ever experience!

Amazing food, great atmosphere!

I found this restaurant by chance during my apartment search in Zurich. Since it was about dinner time, why not give it a try. The place was along a row of old building block, occupying the corner. The place was empty and I got my seat. The room was rich with the aroma of Indian spices, but slightly laced with staleness. The place is dated, furniture and finishing. The service was prompt and could be warmer. I ordered the lamb biryani. Portion was good and the lamb was tender, well cooked with a good infusion of spices. However, it was a bit dry, overcooked or overheated maybe. The rice was an average grade of basmati. The good quality basmati is long grained, fluffy and it will melt in the mouth with minimal chewing. There was a decent infusion of the lamb flavour and spices in the rice, but nothing like "Dam" biryani. The rice too was a bit on the dry side. Presented in the typical Indian brass mini pot with an accompanying bowl of vegetable raita. The yoghurt used in the raita was fresh, thick and rich. More cut vegetables in the raita would have added more texture and flavor to it. The chilli pastes and chutney at the sides were good. The price was to be expected and overall it is a decent meal. I am not sure of the halal authentication. Worth another visit after I try the few other Indian restaurants in Zurich and have a clearer sensing.

Beautiful resturant. Awesome food , if u want to eat indian dishes in Zurich then I can recommend u to eat here . Staffs are very polite , helpful .

Food neither good or bad taste wise, but some of the dishes was mildly warm only.Terrace in the back wasn’t that exotic and almost no view.Pricey for that standard.

Well we visited this restaurant during our family holiday but we were not at all happy the way food was served , the food was not at all good and service was also very bad.. Tandorri restaurant is the best in Zurich !!

Amazing Indian restaurant in zurich city of Switzerland. This is the only place that I found very tasty real indian foods in switzerland. As same as they have very good guest service also.....As a sri lankan guest I feel there like Im in home.

Extremely rude and arrogant owner who didnt seem to want to serve Indians. I can understand the place was full, but its idiotic that they even refused to tell us how long it would take to get a table. He just replied i dont know and pretty much just threw us out the door. The least he could have done is apologized and ask us to return later.

The hospitality and quality of food was very good, but price wise was on the higher side. Probably Indian food in restaurants in Switzerland is costly
