This upscale downtown hotel is a 14-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing train station and 6 km from the bustling Shilin Night Market.Sophisticated rooms offer city views, Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TVs, plus minibars and microwaves. Upgraded rooms add sitting areas and whirlpool tubs; some provide milk baths. DVD players are available upon request.Amenities include a gym and guest laundry facilities. Parking is available.
Really nice staying experience as a quarantine hotel. Room is clean and tidy with decent size. Bathroom has spa bath for chilling and relax. Furthermore, most surprised thing is the miscellaneous meal of serving, really fit my appetite. Definitely will come back again.
It is great to have a hottub in room. Free soft drinks are nice for the tourists.
Pretty nice place. Everything beautiful clean and maybe bcs of the virus it was pretty cheap with respect to what it has to offer. Though I recommend guests to watch out for the wet floor, it becomes slippery. A good solution to this is while entering your room ask the maid for 2-4 extra towels. Throw them on the ground and voila.
The hotel room is clean and request was attended very fast. Food is available 24 hours around the hotel premises.
Overall, the room itself and its bathroom are spacious, clean and modern. The only small inconvenience is no full length mirror in the room.
The hotel is close proximity to transportation, eateries and shops. The staff are extremely polite and professional. The room is neat & tidy, the bed is comfy and the bathroom is great with spa bath and . The buffet breakfast bar offers a variety of selection.
The pictures one sees on the web are deceiving. The size of the lobby and the room are not big at all.Check-in. Front lobby personnel are very nice, friendly, and quick.Room. The room is small. I booked the largest room with two twin beds and it is 420 sq ft. But the bathroom took about 2/5 of the whole area. There is a huge bath tub which I think is a waste of space. The room is clean but the carpet is worn. And not enough place to put your clothes and stuff away. I had to go to the front desk to ask for iron and ironing board. The noise is acceptable. But it is noisier than the other hotels I’ve stayed at. There is no plugs on the wall except the two next to the desk. When I asked the front desk they say there are extension cord I can borrow.Air-Condition. Guests cannot control the temperature in the room. It is pre-setted by the hotel. Guests can change the fan speed. Room 503, where I was, the air blows right to the head of the bed. Makes my noose all plugged up. In the other hand, there is no air condition in the bath room. I can imagine how warm it gets when it’s hot outside.Heater. There is no heating in the room. But no surprise here. Westin hotel did not have heater in the room neither.Free breakfast. You get what you pay for. The small restaurant was really clean and the manager was friendly. But not much of a food choices.Internet access. My two mobile phones and two tablets had no problem to connect to the internet. Not so lucky with my laptop. Couldn’t connect to the room wifi. Tried the front lobby to connect to the lobby internet still no luck. Talked to four different clerks at the front desk. They tried to help but couldn’t find the problem. Clearly not their issue, but I never had this problem within the last 10 years when my job took me all over the place in China and US.Price. Very reasonable. But you get what you pay for so.Check-out. Only took a couple of minutes.Conclusion. I do not think I’ll come back to this establishment. But it is just me.
Very convenient location, staff is friendly and helpful. The room is really comfortable, with a very large bathtub with jaccuzi functions. Will recommend this hotel to my friends as well.
The bathroom is Super luxurious! The breakfast has a lot of variety as well~ :location is superb too.We have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 times and we’ll return again definitely!
Good location, good breakfast, the room is huge and nice :)Love the massage shower ☺️☺️
good room but not too friendly staff. breakfast not available till 07:30. location is a bit of walk from subway.
We had a great stay here. The staffs are nice and helpful. The location is very convenient; it I close to MRT station and local food. The bathroom is clean with a huge jacuzzi. We will definitely come back again!
I was in Taipei for a week and the Roumei Boutique Hotel suited my needs perfectly. The location was ideal for sightseeing and the room was comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the hotel staff members were all friendly and courteous. Overall the hotel provided excellent service at a good value. The weather while I was in Taipei was hot and humid, but the environment in the hotel was cool and comfortable. My hotel room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable with very nice bedding. The bathroom also was very nice. If I am ever in Taipei again I would stay at the hotel again.
Clean room, friendly staff, 7-10 min walk to metro station. Good whirlpool facility to unwind after a day of intensive shopping.
Hotel room and all of services were nice. Staffs were very kind and I liked breakfast too.
Jacuzzi was good enough for 2 people. It even has a lighting feature that changes colour of the lights. It was very romantic. Strongly recommend for couples to try. Location was near to everywhere. Will come back again.
We arrived in a rainy day and the weather is a little chilly. We dont like to go out when its raining. Fortunately, the hotel is warm and the service is very nice. We like the Taiwanese style buffet breakfast, but you still could find some American food. The bath tub is very comfortable with TV. We stayed in the hotel most of the time. Will come again next time.
Very nice hotel.Very cosy room with an awsome spa shower!Very freindly helpfull staff that made our stay very welcoming.Would recommend to anyone planning on making a trip to Taipei! 😎👍
Stayed here for 3 nights. Roumei boutique hotel is always my first choice when I am staying in Taipei. The hotel room is really nice with big size and amazing bath tub. Good service with amazing staff. Nice location with good food surrounding the hotel. Will definitely come here again when I stay in Taipei.
Bathrooms very nice, comes with bidet and jacuzzi. Complimentary breakfast is good. Reasonably priced. Entrance is a bit difficult to find if youre not familiar with the area. 浴室很乾淨。馬桶可以射水清你的屁股。免費早餐不錯。
Don’t judge a book by its cover which it’s so true when it comes to Beauty Boutique Hotel on Jian Guo North Rd in Taipei. The exterior of this property probably only looks like a three star accommodation, but the inside has given plesant surprise. I’m impressed with its bedding and room amenities including a mini couch that makes the room very cozy. I must say that the holiday room rate given the star rate of this hotel is rediliously high, but all hotels in Taipei have taken the opportunity of the new year holiday season. Otherwise im pleased with the stay.
I love and enjoyed my time their. Stayed for 3 nights and kept using the spa/bathtub. The room is super spacious and great. There is indeed a gym but only equipped with cardio machine. Theres a laundry room too. Breakfast is provided and its free.
great location - very convenient, a 5-10minute walk to the metro station. there are quite some food options around the area which we enjoyed. it was a great stay at Roumei :-)
Room is relatively bigger than other hotels in Taipei, good location, clean and neat, staff is super nice and helpful, would definitely pick this hotel for next stay
Room a bit smelly. Dark carpets looks a bit scary, so does the chair. Great complementary drinks and snacks. Very convenient location tho.
We had a small problem and sent feedback while in the hotel and my goodness they can move to fix things. Excellent service. All staff friendly and helpful. Clean room, reasonable breakfast, deep sleep. TV had CNN, and National Geographic channels. The location is down a quiet street from a local shopping area with lots of choices to eat and shop. 450m from the MRT with good route connections. Loved the idea of giving dots to staff on a photo board by the lifts. We will use this hotel again when we are in Taipei.
Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We had the room with a spa bath, which we used every day. The room was spacious, had a sofa and a swivel TV so you can watch TV in bed or in the living space. The furniture is quite outdated, but I really liked it.Staff are friendly and breakfast is mainly Eastern, they do serve toast, cereal and sandwiches. Lots of drinks are available and salad and fruit. My boyfriend used the gym a few times, one treadmill was broken at the time but rest of facilities are good.Hotel is a short walk to the metro station, but there are lots of shops and alleys of restaurants between. I would stay here again if I was in Taipei
Located on a quiet street 30 metres from main. My taxi driver cant find but actually easily accessible. Not attractive at first sight but its small and nice for single travellers. Exercise room open 24 hours. Shower with extraordinary jets and bath tub with massage functions with TV in front.
Great place to stay! Rooms are spacious, all amenities are offered, nice flat screen with tons of channels in the room, free breakfast (which is really good!), gym downstairs, clean facilities. The staff here are friendly!
It’s almost 2:45pm and the rooms are not ready to check in. This cannot be a four stars hotel. Terrible staffs attitude. Needs to go some refresher training .
Best quality for price. Excellent location, nice and practical rooms with great jacuzzi. Great price. Breakfast good for Chinese, leas for westerners
Doesnt match to be 4 points hotel, its a very old motel in a old alley, bad location, even the taxi driver thought its their back door, nothing nearly close to 4 stars, broken drapery, towels, noisy all the time, can hear people talking and door closing outside the room, breakfast buffet is a joke, all the hot food was cold, the only reason I gave one star is because all their workers there are super polite. Do not recommended at all
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortably sized for a Taipei hotel. We were impressed with the facilities in the toilet and felt that the breakfast spread was excellent.
Really great experience. Helpful staff, decent breakfast, well-sized with an awesome bathroom! Complimentary breakfast was good too but ends way too quickly (9:30am). One complaint, they play this music in the hallways constantly which can be heard from the rooms sometimes which is incredibly annoying. But, when it was bothering us, the staff was very responsive in addressing it.
Very helpful front desk! Room is amazing, in walking distance to a lot of food as well as the MRT station.
Great service and good location near a metro to get to most places in Taipei. Breakfast is okay and could be improved but otherwise no complaints.
stayed at Roumri hotel on business trip because it near the office. The room is big, clean and bed is comfortable especially the bath room is very big and come with Jacuzzi.Simple breakfast include in the room rates.Overall, satisfied with the hotel and price is justify .Will be back again if any chance to visit Taipei in future.
Tried to take full payment off my card 2 months before my scheduled stay and then cancelled my booking when my bank questioned the transaction. I understand them trying to verify the card but this is terrible business practice and I would seriously advise anybody who might be booking with this hotel to be very careful with their information when booking in advance.
FO counter staff attitude needs to be improved. Please let the guest finished speaking first instead of interrogating, this is so annoying whenever you speak, she keeps on jam in your conversation. Lack of smile and eye contact.
Quite close to metro station (around 10mind walk). There are many small shops and food around. The breakfast buffet are so delicious with foods being changed everyday. Especially love their milk tea.
I would give much better review but breakfast wasnt very good (all food very greasyand there was an alive cockroach on the dining table the last morning, which was so disgusting that I wasnt able to eat. Im not going to give a good review on Tripadvisor either.
Roumei is a decent hotel for the price. But it seems a bit old. They had heavy duty doors that are quite loud every time someone closes it. You can hear it from your room.Room is a bit small but washroom is big. Great shower and tub.Check in took a long time though, not sure why but overall service is good .Their safe is hard to use so make sure you read the instructions carefully first.
The location is good, walking distance to the metro station within 5mins, the service is very good and I felt so comfortable with their kind assistance! Also the breakfast is nice and tasty!
Good hotel with very luxurious rooms, I stayed here for 3 months already and never had any complaints about anything. They also provide free on demand video service with recent movies.Im looking forward for my next staying in here
Neat, quiet and good service. Breakfast is above average with a nice variety of food. Jacuzzi and steam are good.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast is very good lots of vegetables which +++. Location is great. This 2nd time we stayed . I could stay here again in future
A very nice hotel for the price. Very clean and the staff is super nice and helpful. The location is also really convenient to the MTR and a wide selection of dining and bar options (within a 10 minute walk or so). Our room also had an amazing bathtub you could stretch out it, complete with jets and moodlighting.
If I was ever to come back to Taipei this would be one of the places I would come back to stay. It was clean, staff were great and knew enough English to communicate. But most importantly close to public transport.
Good Ethernet latency. US West 220ms with little jitter. Good windows too. Remember to close the drapes before showering.Huge room for the price. Nice decor.Somebody smoked in a room being cleaned and the cleaners propped the door open, so the entire hallway smelled like smoke. Pillows smelled like Mild Seven in particular. Not happy. Asked for another room and got one.Had to crank the air purifier to the max. Laudable to have one, questionable to have it placed in a room that smells like smoke… Taiwan has banned smoking indoors long ago but there is still no penalty (“restoration fee”imposed by the hotel… people are too nice.
Stayed 3 nights, room amazing, staff curtious, hotel clean, area seems remote.15:00 check-in annoyingly late.12:00 check-out enforced by phone calls every 15 minutes from 11:30. Still getting to grips with the location. Seemed off the beaten track but very close to subway and local markets. Breakfast well stocked with a variety of fried, fresh, boiled and baked things. Not certain why coffee machine only gave half a cup of coffee. Really enjoying it so far. Buy an easy card for subway and shopping, etc.
