Excellent choice for quarantine hotel in Taipei. Once quarantine is lifted and it turns back into a regular hotel, I would recommend it to tourist, visitors or out-of-towner due to it’s convenient location and great service. I had friends who stayed here before Covid for business and they always recommended to other biz travelers too. It was my first time staying here due to quarantine but totally agrees with my friend and would highly recommend it to everyone visiting Taipei. Thank you Fullerton Taipei South for a good hotel experience even during quarantine!

Not a cheap hotel but the room and facilities are old. As quarantine hotel, food provided is just OK.

Ive had the pleasure staying at the Taipei Fullerton (Southduring my quarantine period. Ive quarantined in many hotels between Taiwan and mainland China, and I have to say, this has been the best experience.Making preparations for travel and quarantine is always a difficult process. You have to navigate special government health requirements/certifications, and hotels that allow quarantine guests are extremely limited.I called at least 15 different hotels (not an exaggerationand was brushed aside by all of them. When I called the Fullerton, Chris informed me there were no vacancies for my exact travel dates, but explained new quarantine regulations would come into effect, and if I delayed my schedule for few days that I would benefit from the new regulations, which would significantly reduce my overall quarantine stay..My booking experience was fantastic. Chris was thoughtful and empathetic, and went beyond what is expected of front desk staff.The rooms at the Fullerton are clean, the staff are friendly and the location is just blocks away from everything you need in the city.

The wifi is BAD. On & off, or very slow. I called, the second day. One guy came and fixed, after few hours back to slow, on & off again.The room is ok, the facilities are basic.The attitude of the services vary and depending on individual. Usually day time staff is better than evening shift.

I picked the suite for my 3-day mandatory quarantine. It was spacious with a sofa, armchair, desk, and King-sized bed. Bathroom had shower AND a bathtub. Windows were able to be opened which was a huge plus. Im Taiwanese so very picky about food, while their offerings were pretty good, I opted to order UberEats to supplement, and they always delivered it in a very timely fashion. The LINE chat was available for all and any questions for front desk. I think the smaller rooms might be more dated but I thought the suite was an excellent stay, not much different from 5-star options.

Stayed here for a week for my quarantine. The room isn’t very big but I didn’t mind, since it was quiet and peaceful. The internet speed here is pretty fast for WiFi connection. I felt the food offerings were very diverse and appetizing which matters a lot to me. There wasn’t a good view out of my hotel room but you get what you pay for. Considering it was 4500ntd a day, it was quite expensive but honestly if you got deep pockets, it’s well worth the money.

Can hear all your neighbors and rooms have ants.

Well located and good sized hotel with comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.

Rooms are very humid, however clean but the beds are small. lil bit run down. TV system is bad, however we didn’t watch much TB.Didn’t have the uppertunity to use their breakfast. Location is near the MRT.

Cosy hotel. Good WiFi, small gym but nice hot tub on top floor. Good breakfast selection. Complimentary coffee in lobby

Staff are friendly and I like to thank for the staff working at breakfast floor 2f, they offered me a take out boxes so I can have breakfast and have online meeting in my room at same time.

Close to Daan MRT, have stayed in the past. 24 hrs lounge facilities in the lobby. break fast was ok. free upgrade and free amenities. Friendly staff

Nice cosy hotel located near Daan MRT station with lots of food outlets around. Rooms are very clean and front desk and breakfast area staff are excellent..

If breakfast would be better...then it would be a five star. The service provided by the staff was five stars.

The wifi in my room did not work. My card failed to open my door 4 times, I asked for a different room, but they only moved me after the maids card also did not work. Luckily I did not have any problems in the new room.

Mold in the bathroom and the air condition never work filter never get changed bathroom is dirty this kind of condition the price should be only 50$ or NT 1500$

Quite comfy and clean a hotel. Located very near by Da-an MRT station, friendly staff, and the most important is their breakfast, superb. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located as it has access to 2 MRT lines within 5 minute walk. The rooms are in good size, well kept and clean. The hotel restocks mini-bar everyday, and it provides buffet breakfast every morning from 6:30 to 10 am. For the price point, it was worth it.

Wasnt happy with the centralized Airconditioning, it was set at 24 degrees which is far to hot and I could not sleep, worst night Ive had in a hotel for a long time. Having own control over A/C is much better.I booked an executive Suite which stated seperate living area, I was given a single room, As an executive suite i would have expected more from a mini bar, not just a can of coke and a can of Sprite.Needless to say, i was not happy when i checked out this morning.Check-in staff were very good and english was perfect.... its a shame the rest of my stay wasnt.

room was perfectly clean and all staff were kind and professional. before i got there i expected room would be small like other hotels in taibei. but bed was really big enough to use together with my husband and 6 year-old son(we requested one big bed in advance). even though it was located a little far from ximending which is the most popular area, i prefer this location around daan station to take a good rest during my traveling. about 4 hrs after check-out, we got a call from the hotel cause there were some cloths left in the closet. breakfast was simple but great. also i love cozy lobby place with free coffee & cokkies.

Great hotel, convenient location, friendly staff. Rooms felt a bit small but were nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good especially as far as breakfast in Taiwan go. Next time I need to stay in that area I will book them again.

Receptionists and managers have good communication skills in English. Whenever I have a problem, they were up for tackling the issue right away. Despite the great hospitality, the fan noise, perhaps from the hotels own ventilation, was too loud to be fixed at one night. Avoid room 308 and try to get a room in a upper level for your good night sleep.

Is the perfect location in Taipei city.. but room smells like cigarette.. no windows can open.. if u have other choices I would def say choice another hotel..

One of the best values in Taipei.1. Unbeatable location - short walk to the Da An MRT station where you can hop on the brown and red lines that take you in every direction.2. Clean Rooms. There is even a gym.3. Good breakfast buffet.4. Great staff.

Excellent hotel with top class facilities at a reasonable price for its location and service. The rooms are super clean and well appointed with all the modern amenities you’d expect at a 5-star hotel. There’s a gym, sauna, and a small rooftop garden as well.It’s located two hops from the Da’an MRT station in the heart if the city.

The services of the hotel is extremely disappointing. The staff does not understand the issue of guest. Simply find an excuse and try to slip away.

Good central location within minutes walk to the Daan MRT station. A welcome surprise is that the snacks and mini bar items (a can of Coke and Spriteare free!

This is my third times I been to this hotel.Advantage, very nice "FREE" All You Can Eat breakfast for all weekdays and weekends. Very clean room, nice staff, 5 mins walk from the Daan station, very comfortable lobby with free coffee, tea, & cookies, a rooftop spa now with refreshment. Oh free bottled water and snack in the room is a nice touch.Disadvantage: Air condition temp not stable. First time in Oct 2017 freeze me to death, March 2018 also a bit cold until I request the staff turn it down a bit. This time, June 2018 I cant feel the cold air even at 16 degrees.......Amenities description is wrong, they have no indoor/outdoor pool. Only a rooftop spa.

Good location and convenient. I am too tall for their bed & dont like the bed too soft. The breakfast choice is so little.

Its a great experience to stay one night in the hotel. The staffs are friendly and patient. The breakfast doesnt make me disappointed.The main dish was cooked by the cook ,and you can choose other food in the buffet.An only complaint is that the gym is kinda small!

Seriously hate this place! They gave me a seriously clean room! Not just that, they gave me a room that facing 101 tower with free bottle of wine on a New Years Eve! So all I have to do is stay awake on bed, to see the fireworks! That makes me fat... And they continue this madness by serving a very wide range of breakfast that taste like yeah!..... and the omelette they serve here was very2 juicy. I hate the fact that ate it all, and even order more.. The receptionist here have a overly polite manners, killin smile and nice english too. Distance to MRT is about 5 mins of walking... 101 tower is in walking distance too.. is about 3 days of walking 🤣🤣. Do enjoy spending night in here. They got nice gym too.. keep up the standart.. Love this hotel..

Outdated and for our feeling very unmotivated staff. Will never stay here again. Better service and room fittings plus entertainment system in the 3 star Dandy hotels. Go there instead.

So, don’t get me wrong.But this hotel destroyed everything I experienced in Taiwan during the last visit by offering me as;1The room with 29 Celsius temperature.I asked the reception several times that my room is too hot to stay. And what they said was they were going to turn off the heater in my room. But, it didn’t work. So, I asked again. What they offered me was a small fan, A SMALL FAN. This was very very unacceptable service in this kind of highly rated hotel and somehow temperature in my room went down little to 25 Celsius. So, I could barely survive during my trip.2Malfunctioned Bike in the gymNext morning I went up to the gym for my daily basis workouts.What I found was that there were two bikes. One is too old and too small for me, so I decided not to use this one. The other one looked slightly better than the first one, so I sit on the bike. What made me shocking was that the bike didn’t work. I couldn’t even pedal one single cycle. This was also very very unacceptable quality of the facility in this kind of highly rated hotel.3HOT WATER in the gymSomehow I managed to run in the treadmill for 30 minutes. After the run, I got water from purifier in the gym but I was shocked one more time because WATER WAS HOT. I’m not going to say anything more about this issue and just think about you’re drinking HOT WATER after the workout.Finally I would never recommend this kind of hotel with awkward service and facility. I dont think it is the hotel, but I suffered 4 sleepless nights in this hotel. The bed was a little harder than would like it to be. But the room is overall clean and the front line staff was friendly and very polite.

Greathotel to stay. Near the MRT..and some stores and restaurants. The room was clean..facilities was great..nice staffs..and lovely food.

Excellent staff - friendly, courteous and helpful.Good value and location, above average breakfast. The rooms are a bit small, but it is meant to be a business hotel.

A good buisiness stay hotel covering all the basics youd expect. My room had a nice view of the 101. The atrium above the foyer runs the full height of the building, so all corridors are open on one side, makes the nice and light, but not good if you suffer from vertigo.

Good mid-range hotel option. Not high priced like the name brand chains but almost as nice. Different rooms have different layouts so if you dont like your room layout, try a different room. Rooms are on the small side.

Location is good, good for the price. Only complaint is that theres not enough towel rail. Orientation of the toilet is weird too with the basin outside of the bathroom next to main room entrance.

So far this one is my favourite hotel in Taipei city. it is very near the train station daan. there are some western and Japanese food on the same row with the hotel. The way they package the toiletries especially their sewing kit is just so thoughtful. each coloured thread is strung onto a different needle especially for people with vision problem. there are bath robes and room slippers and a safe box. MOST OF ALL I LIKE THE FREE GOUMET COFFEE FROM THE COFFEE MACHINE AT THE LOUNGE WITH COMPLIMENTARY COOKIES. THE COOKIES ARE YUMMY.. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE HOTEL.

The room was a bit small.Everything else is great !Very warm service, Child friendly, nice Sauna and fitness centre.It gives more value compares with other "5-star" hotels.
