it’s a big hotel, will many rooms and affordable.. it’s clean, most rooms are big and spacious.. sound insulation not bad. sheets are clean, towels are cleaner. the air conditioner is good, bed are softer and comfortable. there is a refrigerator, hot air blower and drinking water bottles.. and even some rooms have sofa. highly recommended

Not a good hotel, soundproofing is total rubbish. Got complained by neighbours even though we were talking at a regular to low volume. Could hear luggages being dragged around by people checking in late as well as loud footsteps. Hotel room air conditioning can be tough to work with at times and the television often lags. The room also smells musty. Only willing to give two stars due to the polite staff and the great location - situated right opposite Taipei Main Station, it is very convenient to travel around, it is also within walking distance to Ximending. The lift system is not great at all, considering you have to wait ages for the lift especially in the afternoon, expect to be crammed in a lift with strangers after waiting 5-10 minutes for a lift if you’re taking it at 12-4 pm. Hands down the worst part about this place is the soundproofing of the rooms. Wouldnt recommend this place unless you want a bad night’s rest.

The location is very convenient, but the price is too much for the service. Room without window, and its ok. The breakfast is really poor, and you have to put the jam on the bread with wood sticks (no forks or knives). Plus, there are just few tables for the breakfast.

I booked this place only because of the misleading good reviews online. But please, do yourself a favour and stay away. The carpets stink right from the lobby - my room was even mustier and downright smelly. My towel was grey, frayed and with holes. I guess they treat guests as beggars who should clean themselves with rags. Thankful I only booked 1 night. What an uncomfortable end to my trip.

Stayed here in a double bunk bed room for one night in mid Dec.Rooms were very clean but small. There was enough space to do everything and store your luggage. The toilets were small but very usable. Even though our room didnt have a window, the toilet has two windows so you dont really feel trapped in.The only complaint was the rooms were not sound proof. I read many reviews saying that loud sounds came from a gym on the 6 or 7th floor. Personally did not experience that but noise came through the walls and the walkway. I could hear my neighbours conversations at 10pm!Location is ideal as right in front of the hotel building there is an MRT exit entrance. Just across the road is the HSR station. Youll need to figure out the way to get to the hotel( exit Z2from Taipei main station MRT though.

The location is excellent.Hotel does not provide proper breakfast but does provide bread and butter, instant coffee.BE SURE TO CHECK IF THE ROOM YOU BOOK HAS WINDOWS!!! Lots of rooms in the corridor without windows. Would not stay more than 1 day here.

Location is the best. Free laundry and dryer machines. Free drinks from the machine and breads. The down side was my room was very cold despite the aircon was off. No heater in the room, so pretty chilling inside, I had to sleep with jacket.

Go to 11 floor on the building to check in😃It was kinda hard to get the hotel since I wasnt able to see any name of this hotel on the building or outside. I was given a bit unique structure room like there is a wall between 2beds so I wasn’t really able to enjoy conversation with my friend. However, they change bed everyday. Good location and services with an affordable price 😊

Power trip since 5am on 27/11 but nothing was done by the staff to provide service recovery to guest affected and only keep telling guest that someone looking at it. Room is filled with noisy generator and strong smoky smell and no one bother to explain what happen or evacuate especially with so many young kids around and awake by the sound and smoke!! and all the reception can do is tell people to wait! Poor service!! No sense of crisis management.

Our favorite hotel when in Taipei. Location is great just in front of Z2 exit of the metro. Lots of shops and restaurants around. With a convenience store in the lobby and a foreign currency exchange that’s open every day from 10am to 10pm. You can also do your own laundry in the hotel. Breakfast is just bread and coffee but unlimited all day.

This is so far one of the best hotels we stayed in as a family, considering that its not too expensive. The location is also near Taipei Main Station(<100m acrosswhich is very accessible to many train/bus stations going in and out of Taipei. This is good when you travel with kids. We arrived in Taiwan early morning(2amso we decided to store our luggage first in the hotel which they allowed. They also offered us with their bread and coffee even though were not yet checked-in. When we came back around 9pm to check in, the staff said our room was upgraded from triple to family room for FREE! How nice of them! The room is very clean with everyday supply of basic necessities. And the most important part of the room, the toilet and bathroom is very clean and spacious. When we checked-out, they allowed us again to leave our luggage since our flight is still midnight. We will definitely go back here when we travel to Taiwan again.

Room is not bad. But the lobby and the wallpaper on all the floor let you fell like you are in a bordel. The location is quite convenient, but the employ are not so friendly, and looks like they lost passion for the job several years ago. I am pretty sure nearly hotel might be better

The Hotel is a bit hard to find; the lobby is on the 11th floor of the building. The location is perfect for a short trip as it is just across from Taipei Main Station. You can hop on the express from the airport and arrive just across the street from the hotel. The rooms are sparse, but clean and have everything you will need before hitting the streets.

What I like about this place is that the room is quite big. Toiletries are replenished daily.What I dont like about this place is that there are limited lifts available to proceed to the hotel rooms. Waiting time for lift can be quite long during peak hours.

Prime location! Its in front of the Taipei Main Station with an exit right in front of the building. We were amazed with Taiwans transportation system, and because of our uber convenient location, we visited a lot of places. We had an amputee in the group and she had no trouble keeping up with us.We chose rooms without windows, and it was a little disconcerting at first. But we soon adjusted and had fun. The rooms are cramped though, and did not have enough space for our luggage. But they have a USB port for charging in a very accessible location. All in all, it was good value for the money.

Pros: location. Very close to the Taipei station. Continent cuz familymart and restaurants are available nearby. Staff are friendly. Easy access to the laundry room and no extra coins.Cons: In my room there is a blue light and a red light on the ceilings. I don’t know what they are for but I don’t like them cuz they can’t be switched off and it’s like in a horror movie. Bed is small. I m 168cm and the length fits exactly. Can’t imagine a 180cm guy sleeping on it. What annoys me the most is the sound! The guests are loud in the hallway and I can literally hear everything and was waken up once at 3am. The noise coming from the above floor, the renovation sounds, is so disturbing. It lasts from 8am to 5pm. For the past 3 days I can’t get enough and quality sleep. Oh and BTW the elevator takes forever to come.

The hotel room is nice & it is conveniently located near Taipei station. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are really firm. Definitely not sound-proof walls as claimed because you can literally hear everything. The room was very clean & they clean the room every day. They had coffee & toast although their toaster took 20 minutes to actually toast. You get what you pay for & it’s decent but I’d probably stay somewhere else next time.

I always stayed at this hotel whenever I am in Taipei. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is just located next to the Taipei main station. Subway, long distance buses and trains, shopping are within walking distance of the hotel. Choices of food are plentiful near the hotel.

The hotel room we were in must have had a lot of mosquitoes cause my legs and my partners legs were bitten multiple times. We asked the reception to do something and they gave us an electronic repellent. They did offer to change rooms but we were on our last night so cbb changing rooms.Also the room we were in had a funny noise, as if something opened up in the ceiling or behind the walls, and either rocks or ice fell through. This would happen every few minutes so you can imagine is it quite annoying.Otherwise,this hotel was very convenient. Its close to multiple metro stations, close to good food and shopping centres. Has washing machine and dryer.Would recommend if no mosquitoes around.

The location is a 10/10 no doubt, very convenient with shopping malls all around and a mrt right in front. The problem is with the hotel itself, especially the lift. The lift was shared by the entire block, and the waiting time for a lift was insane. Hotel room had no windows and was very small, but thats understandable considering we paid a pretty cheap price for it. Heard the deluxe rooms were much better.

Worst elevators in the world, just awfully long queues.This hotel is in the top few floors of a large tower building, but doesn’t have its own elevators. This means you have to wait for aaaaaages to get the public elevator up to the reception and then to other floors you have to wait again.Actual hotel wasn’t bad, not too pricey and comfortable enough beds.

Because of no windows, the room was a bit small noisy with fan at night. Also fire detector light is consistently on, including the USB port at the bed side. Service was good. However the location is great and convenient.

Pro: located right outside train station exit number z2 and z4. check in/out only takes minutes. Deluxe double room is cosy with large windows. Free toothbrush, hair cap, hair brush, razor, tea bags, bottles of water, hair dryer. Several food stalls right outside hotel that operate daily till 9:30-10pm. Supermarket, food court in department store beside hotel. Super nice Taipei train station view.Con: restroom is too dark. Stay on the 7/f floor, floor is shaky because of music down stairs. Scary there are 999rooms in 7/f.

Quite comfy with this hotel, and best location b/c a few steps to the train station. The price per night is not too costly. The room is quite small but it is not bad if you just stay for sleep. Mostly I spent my time with outdoor activities, so I dont mind with small room. All restaurants around, easy to get food. I post the photos on the wet day when I visited.

Had a corner room with no windows and twin beds. Walls are a bit thin. The room was small as expected but clean. Beds are low. Lack of hooks to hang clothes. The AC is powerful. Basic toiletries were provided. Outlets in the room were all grouped to one side so bring a long charging cable. Location is excellent. MRT station is across the street. Elevators are kinda slow. Service is excellent. Very helpful people. Free washer and dryer for guests to use. Free coffee and bread in common area. Free business center to print and use internet. Wifi is free and decent in the rooms.

It was a decent hotel to stay in during our visit to Taipei. The self serve coffee and toast was nice. What I liked most about this hotel was it’s close proximity to to the Taipei Main Station metro. It made it very easy to travel around the city. I would stay here again.

Big disappointments. If you have heavy luggage, think twice before booking this hotel. Need to carry them up flights of stairs from main station exit to street level. Room is outdated. I booked a room for 4 adults and it’s like a maze from lift to get to my room. Sound proofing is bad and carpet is dirty. Toilet is strangely on a higher floor level than your room and it’s very porr lighting. If you have young children and grand parents. In and out of toilet may be a problem. I approached the staff at the counter for additional lamp and the say no. The only advantage is it’s proximity to the train station.Definitely not coming back again.

Well maintained hotel at a good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and well equipped. There was coffee available throughout the day but breakfast is just sliced bread and jam. It was difficult to find the hotel when we first arrived as there is no signare but easy to access once figured out (floor 11 at given address).

In Taipei again, this time we choose to stay near the Taipei Main Station area. I stayed on Oct 31st to Nov3rd. Their lobby is on the 11th floor. I stayed on the 7th Floor. My room was near the back of the back stairs.Room – everything in the room are right. All amenities are there. Clean. Tea bag, Shower gel, Hair Dryer and Safe.The only gripe I have is the Water Pump sound. When someone is using water, the floor on my room vibrate. The water pump sound is loud. I have requested to change room; they said I can only do it the next day. But the next morning, I decided not to change. I can accept the noise. Moreover, it’s a budget hotel.The room is small. If you have two 28inch bag, you might able to walk around. So, be aware on this.NOTE: Standard room does not come with windows. NO Closet. It’s an open closet with 4 hangers.Location – It’s has the best location. Right on top of Taipei Main Station, You can virtually go anywhere from this point. MRT or HSR. If you arrive via MRT, you need to walk through the K zone (Underground Mallto reach the M and the Z zone. Once you are on the M or Z zone. You can choose to exit at M6 or choose an elevator in between Z2 and Z4 at the Underground Mall. If you take the elevator you will see the hotel logo the moment your elevator is on the main street.Electrical jacks – Enough electrical jacks. Plus, the room comes with USB charging jacks, too. So, that was good.Breakfast – NONE. They don’t offer breakfast. They provide 24hrs free coffee and bread on the 11th Floor. I saw a lot of guests bought Ramen from Family Mart on the ground floor and brought up.Food – Plenty of food around this area. McDonalds is 2 minutes’ walk. Food courts are on the basement of next door mall. Starbucks is on the Underground mall. So…tons of food. No need hotel breakfast.Bathroom – One thing good about this hotel is they provide washer for Muslim traveler and South East Asian. There is washer hose to wash after you have done your business. I have attached a photo.Washing machine and Dryer – FREE. But they cut off electricity on the Washer and Dryer at 10pm. No IF or But. It’s auto shutoff. If your clothes is still washing, you need get like 6am to complete this task.Overall, I can only give 2 stars because of the water pump sound. The plus are the location and variety of food nearby.

Prime location and bilangual staff. Has a court yard with bread all day for guests to enjoy and mingle. The room is bright but looks a bit run down. Lots of chips and dents in the room. Carpet looks old and dirty. Afterall, it is an older building. The bed is clean and comfy. Probably the only good thing about this hotel.This is a very noisy hotel. Rooms are not sound proof at all. There is 0 ventilation in the washroom. They do have a fan but the washroom isnt sealed. Theres a huge gap of top of the washroom door. So if you shower, the whole room with be hot and humid for the entire night.Here comes the worst part. Dont even think about doing laundry here. They do offer laundry and dryer at the court yard. But I dont think the area is designed to have dryers... They are using 100v outlet for all five dryers. That means instead of taking 20-60min to dry your clothes, itd take 4 hours! Many guests await at the court yard frustrated. Those in line waiting for the dryers are even more frustrated. Front desk will tell you, you may use dryer from 6am-10pm. But they dont enforce it and turn a blind eye on those using it throughout the night. On the day of check out, I arrived at the dryer area at 5:56am..just to find all dryers occupied. Even when I asked the front desk, they ignored the situation. Finally out of desperation I asked where coin laundry locations are. I thought at the very least theyd offer guests voucher or coupons or some sort of compensation for close by coin laundries. Nope. They looked at each other baffled and gave me a vague direction to a coin laundry store.If they sort out the laundry situation I would have given this hotel a higher rating. However the lack of better facility is no excuse for guests to feel frustrated and lied to. At the very least, warn guests about the long hour wait time for dryers or offer compensation to local coin laundry locations. If they cannot do either, they shouldnt advertise their laundry capacity at all.Overall a frustrating and disappointing experience. I wont be coming back.Update: hotel has apologized and explained the situation. Other then the dryer issue, this is a very convenient hotel. Probably the best valued in the area, considering its location.

Its located right across Taipei Main station, making it very accessible to almost everywhere. If you need a decent room to stay and on a budget, this hotel will suit your needs. Most rooms doesnt have a view unless you pay more, but thats fine with me.

I would give it 3.5 stars. Location is absolutely fantastic! MRT at your doorstep. Rooms are small but interiors are good. We had some plumbing issues on the bathroom. Staff was prompt but issue couldnt be resolved. They made alternate arrangements for shower but it was a hassle.

Located close to Taipei Main Station, clean rooms with the basic amenities. Value for money and comfortable. No breakfast offered but free toast and coffee available 24 hours. Self serve laundry services. Only downside is sometimes you have to wait a long time for an elevator.

Very nice and comfortable. Their lobby area is very nice. Come with free drinks and bread. If you are a light sleeper try not to stay at floor 7 as theres a gym underneath 6 floor. They play loud music. Most of thir economy room are without window. Everything looks clean and they provide everything you need in room. Very close to Taipei Main station. Definately come back if we are on budget.

This location is perfect for public transportation: right across the street from Taipei Main Station granting access to the MRT, plus several bus lines right outside the building. The blocks surrounding the area are filled with food and shops as well. The staff here were nothing but friendly and professional. Very helpful and accommodating and most can speak English. They have on-site laundry machines, but there are only 5 washers and 5 driers, so there can be a line, even in the early mornings. It seems less busy in the afternoon, but youre typically out and about, so Id say to push for early to mid-morning to do your laundry. The rooms are great with comfy beds and linen. More than enough room for 2 in each 1 bedroom room. TV comes with a variety of channels, and there are also 2 bottles of water provided in each room. If I turn to Taipei, Ill definitely be staying here again!

Location is very good, above the MRT station. Service varies as the staff in the morning shift was helpful but the staff in the night shift were probably tired by the end of the shift so they werent that forthcoming in offering help to carry luggage. Rooms are wheelchair-accessible, and if you dont mind not having windows, the price is quite reasonable for the convenience. Coffee and bread are free flow too.

We came here for a 3 hour stay after an overnight flight. I found this hotel from a Google search and the 3 hr was advertised for 399 NTD. The location was directly above the exit of a Taipei main station . It was easy to find. At the check-in, we received the same promised offer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is modern and clean. After check out , I went to the hotels sky garden for some snacks and a coffee (included for all guests ). The hotel also offered to store my luggage until the end of the day. It was my best hotel experience in Taipei, and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Best place to stay if you are planning to visit Taipei. The hotel location is hard to beat as it is located nearby the biggest transportation hub in Taipei. All staff speak good English, very good service. Rooms are fully equipped and have very high standards for the price you pay. Laundry and drying service is free to use. Resting area has free coffee machines, free snacks and juices. Very pleasant place to stay. Highly advise!

The hotel is pretty new, clean. The staff are friendly. Really good value for money.The hotel provide all the basic that you need, except for window, i think most of the room are windowless.They dont have breakfast buffet but provide a court yard where you van eat, free breads are available here.

This hotel is brand new. I think most rooms don’t have windows but they are big, clean, well equipped and not noisy. Staff is friendly and price very low (about 50 usd for a double room). I don’t know if the prices and quality will remain like that but for now it’s a very good deal ! And it’s located just in front of Taipei main station.

One star for the location near to shopping mall and mrt station.However, not recommend for stay if you are looking for a comfort stay rather than a night sleep only. Personal view is as below:1Poor air circulation within the room (stale air). Sometime, there is diesel smell due to room is near to generator. Diesel smell can b toxic gas (carbon monoxide).2Laundry service is available only till 10pm (Note that most tourist will only be back in the hotel till late night). Good point is the laundry service is foc. However, there is limited washing machine and dryer catered for the guest. Worse, the laundry service is limited to 10pm only.3Air conditioning in the rooms are not in good working condition. Set to 16deg and strong wind circulation is still giving warm and stale condition4Non standard size of beds are used (insufficient leg length even for a female Asian)5No contingency plan for scheduled maintenance (causes inconvenience to the guest; prior notice were not given to arriving guest)6Poor sound proof within the room (sound from generators on the streets could be heard). Thin wall system which sound from balcony can be heard in my room.6No hydraulic system use for room door (door slams upon closing)7Hotel staffs showed no interest at work. For instance, knowing the bread at toast bar is running low and alot of people is waiting; still hotel staffs never top up immediately despite being informed

Hotel is just central of Taipei, opposite Taipei Main train station so it is convenient for tourist to go anywhere.The room is just fine, the size is small. You may hear sound from next guest room.The hotel also provide free flow of Bread and drinks ( coffes, tea, etcat the lobby.Overall, good for foreign tourist to stay here.

This hotel have just opened few months ago. The facility and rooms are still in good shape. A bit small to US standard but considering the location is great. Right cross street from the Taipei main station where all the MRT, BUS, HIGH SPEED RAIL...be available. In other word, going around the whole island can be access conveniently from this hotel. Restaurants, banks, shops are everywhere around the hotel including a convenient store is right at the ground level of the hotel. Reception staff are friendly and fluent both Chinese and English.

Convenient stores just by the cover, local delicacies at the back of the building, train station access just outside the hotel.Suitable for families travelling with baby n infants because theres free laundry services and dryer at the hotel reception (starts at 6.30pm, ends at 10pm)Free flow of coffees and light breakfast (toast, bun, butter, jam)Stayed at the family room with windows(double queen size bed), water pressure is excellent, shower cream and shampoo provided, two bottles of mineral water, 8 pillows and comfy bed.

Directly across from Taipei Main Station, which makes it a super convenient location. Some rooms are windowless, but the big room we got (for 4 peopleis very nice and has windows and good indoor lighting. The bathroom is on the smaller side and not that well lit, but the shower is nice and big. Service is nice. There is also free access to washers and dryers if you have a need for laundry during your trip. Overall a positive experience.

Stayed in a family room. And the room was great except that the soundproofing was a little poor. There is an open area where you can just chill and the kids can run around. Otherwise, location is great as well. Really convenient.However, do note that Taipei H imperial is only occupying 3 levels in that building. Its essentially a mixed used building with multiple levels.

Hotel is in a pretty decent location within walking distance of the Taipei main station (including bus terminal). Its a bit of a weird setup with reception being located on the 11F. The staff are friendly and speak a little English. The rooms are rather small but not cramped. Theyve done well to fit everything in. They are clean and come equipped with a TV, safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom has a shower and enough toiletries to make your stay pleasant. The hotel does not offer a restaurant/breakfast service but does provide coffee/toast 24hrs a day (so long as they remember to restock). Theyre good rooms at a good price. A decent 3 star hotel.

My family had an amazing stay at Taipei H Imperial. The room and bathroom were very clean. The sheets and pillows smelt like they were washed. The cleaning staff were amazing.The receptionists were also very good. There are always at least 6 people working at a time who speak multiple languages (mainly Chinese and English). They provide 24 hour service and will be able to help you immediately. They also provided brochures and maps to help you with travel.The free WiFi is fast and stable. There are multiple lifts available to be used.The hotel is located very conveniently to Taipei main station making our travel to all locations very easy. There are also quite a few shops close by.The hotel also has a common open area where you can relax and eat food (however this closes at around 11pm). But they provide 24 hour free slices of white bread with an assortment of spreads and have around 5 tea and coffee machines and 1 iced peach tea machine. There is also a machine for hot/warm/cold water.The hotel also provides a airport services where you talk to the reception and they organise for a vehicle to transport you (including luggageto the airport. This was very convenient for my family of 4 with 4 large luggage bags. The service was reliable, the van was clean, on time and the driver was kind. It was helpful for us because we had to leave at 4am and it cost only 1000NT at the time. It saved us the trouble of using public transport or trying to find a taxi.It contained everything you would expect from a hotel.We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei!

The location is fabulous, minutes away from Taipei main station, exit Z2. Its above the underground shopping street.The room size is alright, with no windows. Bed is firm and bedsheet clean. Bathroom is also clean with good heater and water pressure.WiFi is strong enough and with a variety of TV channels.Concierge desk speaks English and they offer unlimited bread and coffee at level 11.However, the sound proofing is almost non existent and if your neighbors are noisy then good luck for you. They also unlikely to offer early check-in.Overall a value for money hotel
