Ubicacion ideal para relajarse a 30 minutos de Montañita y al lado de una parte de la playa mucho mas ancha y tranquila. El personal es super amable, las habitaciones con todo de primeras calidades, la cocina es espaciosa y hay hamacas para descansar en las zonas comunes.

Es un sitio muy tranquilo y muy bonito...las habitaciones son cómodas....tiene una cocina comunal muy amplia y muy limpio todo ...y un comedor muy agradable....hamacas y es muy bonito

Es un lugar tranquilo, con excelentes instalaciones, muy cómodo y cerca de la Playa. Lleno de plantas hermosas y aves que adornan el ambiente con sus cantos. Ideal para pasar las vacaciones sin preocupaciones.

I lived at Tagua with Luis and Kathy for a couple of years-ish. I went to visit the new owners son to talk about building a new website. I am super excited to see the changes they make. Elias was lovely, I feel that Tagua is in good hands.

Such an amazing place to stay. Wish I didnt have to leave! The place itself is very clean, has a lovely little garden, well stocked communal kitchen, amazing communal areas including a hammock space, 2 dining areas and a bar area. It also has great wifi in both the rooms and communal areas. Its super chilled out and the owner, Luis, is so welcoming, kind and generous. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and is very helpful if you need any help with your Spanish. He owns a local farm and its not uncommon for him to come home with produce he has grown and share it with everyone. The other great aspect of staying here is that its close to Montanita, only $1.50 in a taxi or approximately a 30 min walk. Id highly recommend Tagua to anyone. Its like a home away from home.

If you are looking for comfortable and great value accommodation, look no further than Tagua Lodge. A very relaxing space with plenty of hammocks for chilling out, a kitchen and communal areas to meet other like minded travellers. The lodge is only 3 blocks from a quiet and clean beach and only a 30 minute walk to Montanita. Luis is an amazing host who speaks fluent spanish and English. He often brings to the lodge fresh organic produce from his local farm for guests to use in the kitchen. You will not regret staying here!

I came for a Week and Stayed a Month!Luis is a GREAT host. Come and chill out!Manglaralto beach hostel and campsite, only 20 minute walk along the beach to Montanañita. With private rooms, hot water showers, shared kitchen and WiFi, Tagua Lodge is your chill out spot on the Ruta del Spondylus.
