Tágide Wine & Tapas Bar - Restaurant in Belas, Portugal
Incredibly slow and inconsistent service, missing major parts of the orders forgetting to serve/attend to guests at the table. Not possible to order tasting menue and a la carte together. Dishes are mainly bland and unimpressive.Lacked expertise on their menue and drink pairing. Failed to produce drinks listed on their menue due to lack of ingredients.Overall recommendation is that youre better off going to another location as Lisabon offers far better Restaurants than this, and its a matter of time before it loses its michelin star rating.
Very nice place with a nice variety of selections. Staff is the best, smiling all the time. The view is extraordinary.
Wonderful food, great service, nice environmentRestaurant with Michelin star.Located in historical part of Lisbon.Romantic view.
We were supposed to be seated in the tapas area based upon my reservation. Hostess insisted we sit upstairs in the dining room. Our table was poorly attended to. Service neglected to attend to our table, lacked any personality or making you feel like a valued customer. Unfortunate that a Michelin reviewed restaurant did not live up to its reputation.
We had a set lunch menu. The food and the service was excellent.
View and service was great, however the food was some of the worst I have had. My partner could not finish his food due to the high amount of squid ink and undercooked fish. The starter was a luke warm scallop dish with an off texture and lack of flavour. I had veal cheek which was ok, but the rest of the food tasted like the chef had not tasted it himself. The previous poor reviews are not wrong. Don’t go.
Nice place to rest for a while, but they only have a limited selection and no toilet.
This was my worst dining experience in Lisbon. Truly awful service and food. The venue is actually quite upscale and has a nice setting with a view of the river. The menu had a total of SIX items between the choices of entrees and appetizers. So for a family of 5 we ordered the whole menu and some items twice. To begin the bread service came with 2 flavors of Butter that was FROZEN SOLID. The appetizers were tiny and seasoned in a very odd way - as if someone randomly combined ingredients to see if they work. You would think that its difficult to screw up raw scallops. The entrees were two fish courses and two meat courses. The meat was dry and way too salty (I love salt and savory foods in generaland the fish was floating in some dark goo that the waiter kept calling "soup". Our reservation was for 8pm and our entrees did not show up until roughly 9:20pm. I asked the staff to check on the food a couple of times and in response they nodded but obviously did nothing as I saw them move around the dining room. The restaurant clearly tries to present an upscale experience but it was highly mediocre food with poor service. There is a 1-Michelin star restaurant next door - most likely a better bet.
I feel lucky to spend my evening here. Perfect view, delicious meal and wonderful service. Thank you! Also i need to add: it was the best dessert i’ve ever had!
Usually, Im not the kind of person to post bad reviews. But this especially angered me quite a bit.We never even made it to the restaurant. We booked a table a whole month in advance. And no more than a week beforehand Tagide cancelled our reservation because they needed the whole dining area that evening. They did offer numerous things in return, to help us book a table in another restaurant, a table at their bar, or to come dine with them on another date. All very reasonable options, I must admit. But out of principle I refuse these options. We really looked forward to this. This whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way.Very disappointing and were left feeling shoved aside...So now we have to find something else, merely days beforehand..
Nice place, very kind workers, and a perfect food.
Fantastic views. Good casual food. There is a much fancier associated restaurant upstairs.Today had a wonderful strawberry gaspacho and a smoked pork sandwich. Good wine list with many selections by the glass.
Elegant restaurant with a very nice view on the Tagus. The dishes are subtle and tasty, and the prices correspond to the quality of the ingredients.
We have only been at Tagide for lunch several times and always selected the lunch special. The reception and the service has mostly been friendly and professional. However, I think that the set menu for lunch (and maybe the main menushould be less repetitive. It seems that Tagide keeps the same menu for a very long time, which isnt quite what I (!would expect of an excellent or Michelin recommended restaurant. The location and the view from the "balcony" tables is really good, but especially since my last visit on 23/04 I am not so convinced anymore.
As already shared in numerous reviews below, this restaurant was terribly disappointing. The staff is rude and untrained, as is the upper management team of Suzana Barros (CEO), who did not care about the bad service we had received when we tried to bring it up to them. The food is almost as overrated as the service, and very overpriced. Take your money elsewhere if you can.
A depressing place. The menu is very small/limited. The food is high quality. The service a bit annoying
Very disappointing, save your money if you can. We booked a table here based on the Michelin guide, however the service is unfriendly and the food is mediocre. We arrived at the downstairs tapas bar and were not informed that our reservation was actually upstairs in the main restaurant so accidentally spent half our meal at the restaurant we had not reserved for, something management could have easily avoided if they had cared. They later switched us to the correct restaurant and offered us a free cocktail and dessert which they then added to the bill and refused to take off when asked. Oysters were drenched in dressing so we could hardly taste them. Overall this was a very disappointing experience, and I would spend my time and money at establishments where good food and friendly service are included.
Very nice tasting menue, espescially the desserts were excellent. Wine pairing good. Nice ambiance with great view. Service not so great, slow on the refilling and checking, not especially friendly, borderline judgy.
From entered the restaurant to sit down , you can feel the caring and welcoming service here with high standards! All the service staffs are amazing ! We tried the dinner tasting menu 6 course with 3 different wine , each person around 90 €Trust me , you won’t be regret it ! The most amazing taste for me is the main course smoked beef ! Astonishing! The desert is also fabulous ! Bravo and thanks for your amazing service and we had an unforgettable evening !! Thank You !!Ps: the view is breathtaking!!!
Unbeatable views. Silver service. Friendly. Attentive.
Very weird experience. We tried the tasting menu, which ended up being same ingredients cut and mixed in different ways to make 7 unimpressive and unnecessarily foamy dishes. By that I mean there was foam *everywhere*. The plate with seaweed, topped with sea water, was particularly challenging to finish…all of this comes with a heavy check. The restaurant is located on a hill and it has big windows. It has a nice view, I guess, but at night you can’t really see anything, it’s not very lit outide and inside its so bright...dim it down if you want people to enjoy the view at night!?! Service is good.
Amazing service. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Maria was great, thank you for making our visit so special.
The view was highlight of our dinner, the waiter were kind. Unfortunately the food was slightly disappointing. Truffle was tasteless, the dessert was sticky and not rich. Rest was okay but not outstanding.
If you want to eat right with good service don’t go there. The food was bland and the service mediocre.I gave them a chance to better the nonexistent flavour on a plain salad and they charge me for extra vinaigrette! The view is as nice as many others places in Lisbon.I would never know why it says Michelin at the entrance.
Fine dining at its best. Wait staff was superb, food excellent, presentation was beautiful and the view breathtaking. Highly recommend this restaurant. One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had.
Best food experience in Lisbon if youre willing to spend a little more than average. We did the food tasting which was a four course meal, and the wine tasting that compliments it for about ~ 100 Euros each and it was absolutely worth it.Pretty easy to see why it is on the Michelin list. The waiters were some of the nicest and knowledgeable Ive had. Everything from the butter to the Iberian steak to having a small seat offered for our bag/purse and the plating and cutlery were all perfect. The view over the square and the ministry buildings was just spectacular. As for the food, I was not the biggest fan of the first starter (fish cake with macha tea pallet cleanser? but after that it just got better and better.
Excellent atmosphere and great views.Excellent food and service
We went for lunch and had a flawless experience. Very kind waiters, attentive to the client and well educated on the food being served. From the entree to the final dish, we had an amazing time. Nonetheless to say that the views from the restaurant made this lunch even better. Highly recommend and would go back to try the tasting menu at dinner.
We recommend to eat @Tagide! We wrote to ask a reservation only in the morning and requested a window table for dinner and we received a beautiful surprise at our arrival! Delicious food, beautiful view on the city and exceptional service! Thanks for the memorable experience ❤️
We had a great lunch experience at Tágide. The view over Lisbon is the best we have experienced so far and the menu offers some delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. Our host Mohamed did an amazing job taking care of us from start to finish!
The view is superb and then the gods come and food is served, and you forget the view and dive into taste paradise!Superb +++
The service was good but I cant say the same for the menu. In general food is too much salty... I eat only the "fois gras"who was delicious.Crazy prices and definitelly a Tourist scam.
Exceptional food and service with a good selection of wines, over a fantastic view.
Beautiful place, amazing views over Lisbon, average food and service.
Great gourmet food and extremely attentive staff. All the food we were served was excellent and so full of flavors. I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. The waiter helped us choose a wine that was an excellent pairing for our food as well. As a bonus, the view is spectacular!
Lovely view over the city and delicious food. Superb service. It is very much fine dining and that is reflected in high prices and very moderate portions of food. Not the place to go if youre penny pinching and very hungry, but a nice experience.
Fine selection of port wines. Great view. Really attentive staff.
Very fine pace with great atmosphere and excellent service! We ate pork neck and lamb, and was very happy with our food and the wine recommended with it!
Great view, disappointing food. The view is fantastic if you are fortunate enough to sit at the front row, the other tables also have a nice view. ***seating is based on time of arrival***The food did not live up to the view. Short rib was tough (didn’t finish it), cod was ok.Enjoy the view from the nearby elevator, save your money for an Avillez restaurant.
Absolutely loved and enjoyed this place, highly recommend. Great food, perfect attentive service and ridiculous prices for Michelin restaurant. The view is amazing and I was lucky enough to enjoy the restaurant at the time when it wasn’t packed. If you are nearby, come and visit it, believe me you won’t regret.
An excellent restaurant that we stumbled across on our way back to our hotel from Baxia-Chiado.As it was midweek there was no need to book so we returned that evening. The food and service were excellent. We shared four different Tapas between the two of us and it was ample. The waiter was very knowledgeable both with the food and wine.He recommended a lovely Vino Verde at a reasonable price. We had a lovely table with beautiful views over the city at dusk.Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Relaxing and cosy.
Very nice place with good food and a nice location
Great service. Attention to detail was impressive. Quiet place with a nice view.
Stunning views, great service and delicious local food.
The pork was amazing and the grouper was good but not amazing. The views were awesome and the staff was very attentive. Would definitely recommend for dinner!
We had such a lovely experience here, highly recommend making a reservation! Views of Lisbon in the sunset from our table were beautiful. Service was impeccable. Presentation and dishes were divine. Wine list was perfect. Loved it here!
The more I see my photographs of food I ate in Lisbon, the more I realize how much I enjoyed eating at their restaurants. Tagide Wine and Tapas Bar, the casual counterpart of the more formal Tagide restaurant, has a great comfortable atmosphere. The waiters were friendly, much like all of the Portuguese people, and the food was delicious. I loved the goblet-like cup and the hammered metal bowl. As a dessert option on the menu, they had their special take on a famous traditional Portuguese pastry. Their pastel de nata was served warm and instead of cinnamon just being a topping with powdered sugar, they added a scoop of cinnamon ice cream on the side to further reinforce the taste of the cinnamon. An additional interesting element they had was the wine dispenser. You are provided with a card on which your wine selections and quantity are recorded. If I ever visit Lisboa again, based on my experience with the wine and tapas bar, I would like to try the Tagide restaurant this time.
Nice little place for tapas, good prices and tasty food. Attentive waiting staff too
Fantastic! Great food, GREAT views, great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Pretty busy but servers were still very accommodating.
Food is delicious and the service is very good. They are attentive but will not interrupt you. The view is wonderful especially when it is a sunny day.
