Tadka in Dublin

good food, okay service

Permanently closed. Phone is disconnected. Have repeatedly informed google of this and posted pictures of the building with signage removed, but to no avail.

Tadka is closed for good and gone out of business it seems. Such shocking news as their service and food was amazing...... their phones aren’t working and they don’t reply to email inquiries too...... what a sad day for Indian food lovers...... wish their owners/management would postSome news about the future of this restaurant 😡

In Ohio Covid19 has sequestered most of us. We went to see if we could get carry-out & called Tadka. Phone is not in service. Looking into the banquet area & it is cleared out. No sign on door but this may be gone for good. If so we have lost a good place for lunch buffets, dinner menu & banquets. I will miss the staff and wish them good health & a bright future. I did notice that Tadka restaurants are in other US cities such as New York.

Buffett menu was really good, couldnt try all of it as they are too many dishes and its varieties. Taste was good and quantity wise it was lot and they kept refilling whenever something was in more demand. Cleanliness was good and one lady was making lots of round to make sure empty plates were taken care. Dabeli wasnt that great it was missing lots of stuff like pomegranates, shev, peanuts were missing but taste of ok. We went in 18 people group and on Sunday afternoon which was really crowded like Indian wedding parties. So many people and big lines to get anything.

Wonderful food. Attentive and accomodating staff. Good prices. Nice sit-down Indian and Indo-Chinese done well.

Chilli garlic vegetable noodle was nice. There was a party going on and was very loud. Good music was being played though .

Food,service, and decor are fantastic. Love they have Indian and Chinese options. My to go Indian restaurant.

The renovation is fabulous. The food is beyond delicious. Seasoned to perfection.

OMG! This place takes pride in everything they do. Waiter was very accommodating, food came quick and this was at 9p.

The quality has really gone up the last year. Ive gone from looking down on them a few years back to hosting a party there last year and feeling that I got my moneys worth. Current chef is really good. Appetizers are their specialty, apparently, both veg and meat as well as seafood. Their veggie dishes are very good, and between goat and lamb, I liked the latter more. Very accommodating regarding party arrangements.

Jack of two trades, master of about one and a half. It serves both Indian and Chinese food. Functionally, this means that you can order Tandoori Lamb while your friend munches on Kung Pao Chicken. The Indian fare is better than the Chinese. Both are decent. If you want really good Indian or Chinese, there are some better options elsewhere. Its the combination that makes this place special.The ambience is a little fancy, and the price is a little high: we spent $75 on two adults and two small children. The kids were cheap: the kids menu entrees are about 5 bucks each. The tandoori lamb chops, however, were are $25, and when you toss in the Indian bread, an appetizer and drinks, it adds up quickly.Will we go back? Yes. My wife and I love Indian, and our kids are less crazy about it, so this is a good compromise. They can have a noodle dish while we enjoy some curry. We wont come all that often though, because of the price tag.

Great food atmosphere great for big gatherings....

I had been at the place and we ordered from the menu which was good. But when I went back with my family, I did not enjoy the buffet. Most of the food was spicy which prevent my kids from eating and the others that were not spicy had some weird taste I was not used too.

Great Indian food

This place serves so bad food. We ordered rumali roti and garlic naan 2 curry’s. It’s not rumali Roti just big size chapathi not cooked well . Garlic naan was so dry and it looked like the leftover food from buffet.Bad experience 😡.After long time we wanted to taste Indian food and excited to see rumali roti in the menu but worst food I ever ate .

NOT GOING AGAIN.Food was so bad, Chicken pakora was from left over tandoori chicken and they call tomato rice as biryani.Never ever going.

Food was bad, some were old and some were uncooked, will never ever go there

Food is decent, new location sucks, service is slow for the huuuge prices.

This restaurant is different and has good tasty food. Great place if you are tired of eating regular chinese or indian food. The taste is similar to the chinese restaurants in India. Average service.
