Tacos Jalisco - Mexican restaurant in Dodge City, United States
Very great food!!Awesome nice place to sit and relax!!
The portions were big, but the food wasnt all that good. Too spicy and the rice tasted funky.
Great food truckers park in middle of road and walk inside and get your food Togo! Won’t regret anything. I bought my student and I dinner and it was $35 lots of food for the price!
Food was good! Authentic Mexican cuisine!
Not a very good service..my food took 50 minutes to come to my table..
Great authentic Mexican food but I would label it pretty spicy. Friendly service!
Excellent food and service.Carne asada burrito is the best!!
Ive been here four times with my girlfriend because she really likes this place from a long time ago but the items Ive gotten from there have all been old and overcooked and over seasoned. I got a carne asada burrito that had hard crunchy pieces of steak from being on the grill so long and I got a shrimp cocktail (very expensivewhich was surprisingly much larger than I was expecting but filled with unclean shrimp and unflavored but too spicy liquid, I didnt eat it at all after tasting it and eventually threw it out. I have really tried to enjoy this place several times but they make it hard
Stopped in over lunch with a co worker. We ordered at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The facility, staff, speed, service and food were all fairly good. I would definitely eat here again.
It was okay. Everything had jalapeños in it that we ordered even the side of beans, but you definitely get enough food. I was not impressed with the man who was the front taking our order. His attitude was beyond rude.
Good Mexican food, I think. Customer service could be better. Bad employees = Bad customer service.Update: 1/10/22...That lady at the counter (I think her name is Gloria). She seems to discriminate against me (because I am an American? ). She is not the owner. She is not a manager. But she decided to not treat me the same as other paying customers ( or should I say, she seemed to treat me less than other customers)...So I just got my money back, and went someplace else. And there was no owner, nor manager there when I asked for one.
Love this place! Authentic Mexican food 😋
So my friends and I went to go eat and PAID, and waited and thought maybe they were just be behind or super busy. Went up to ask and Completely IGNORED US. After we waited for over an hour for his food. Our friend had proof that he paid, he got a drink and broke a large bill and there excuse was “sorry, no ticket” and refused to help us after IT WAS ALREADY PAID. we were even reasonable and in return they chose to be snotty and wouldn’t even give a refund.
Great food. I had Shrimp with garlic and butter. It was absolutely delicious! Staff great and restaurant very clean. I always get great food here.
Old food, bread was rock hard. This is my third time coming, never coming here again. And NO its not authentic Mexican food. Plus they have an obsession with cilantro on everything.
I am giving it 2 stars I recommend going when its busy when the food is fresh the following day I ordered the same thing and this time the food didnt seem cooked if the meet was just setting in there and the bread was just solid it was like eating a sandpaper it wasnt as fresh like the last time and it was my hard-working money that paied for that sandwich and Im paying for good food not something thats setting in the warmer all day and with price is going up with things and people asking for for more money they should get better quality if they want better pay Im not going back after this comment
Very very vey excellent food and the service was wonderful the lady taking orders was very pretty too 🔥😍🤤I couldn’t keep my eyes 👀 off of her I’ll most definitely stop 🛑 in again
I was very unsatisfied with the service. The lady at the register acted racist due to me being american. She changed her whole attitude when I spoke English. I ordered a torta with no mayo when order was ready I checked it and it has mayo. She said the bread comes with mayo i was like what? She wanted me to take it like that but after some time the cook agreed to make a fresh one. People do have special diets. They premake their tortas by putting mayo on the buns. Come on people if the order is special dont just send it out the lazy way and people end up sick. This is bad business and if the lady wants to be racist maybe you need to look for another job where your dont deal with the public. I live in dodge city and loved eatting tacos jaliscos but i wont be back after this. Plus I only ordered a single torta and the rude lady at the register charged 12$ for the torta meal with rice and beans.
This place has the best asada tacos and burritos. You won’t be disappointed. Salsa is awesome too on the spicy side but just right!!
This is undoubtedly the best Mexican food Ive had in years
Very authentic, nicely seasoned food for a reasonable price. The salsa was excellent! We had to buy some to take with us.
Food was okay, but service sure has depleted. After not getting everything I ordered and asking for it, I was told to be nice or I would be kicked out. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but not so much anymore.
The best taco I’ve had in a long time! The salsa is spicy and absolutely amazing. It’ll be a regular stop in my travels. Also open after everything else was closed. (Others have said poor customer service as a white guy, totally not my experience!)
No cheese queso. A little pricey. Hubby liked his steak tacos. 🌮
The worst Mexican food ever. First of all we got chips and salsa. The salsa was good but hotter than fire. I went up and asked for some Queso, no Queso here. “We have guacamole though”. I asked if it was hot, the woman who waited on us didn’t speak English obviously because it was hotter than the salsa. I then asked if they had mild salsa, she shook her head yes and gave me more HOT salsa and chips. We received our plate of food, cheese quesadilla with a street taco rice and beans. Rice was cold as well as the beans and the cheese quesadilla was like a grilled cheese sandwich. Not a normal quesadilla. It was horrible food.
Not what we expected at all. Order at counter, brought food out on disposable plate, drinks in bottles, and absolutely not the taste were use to. To say the least just not what we was expecting what do ever. And over priced way over priced
Worst food ever, not a great place for Mexican food, I dont highly recommend this place. Prices are all too expensive and you dont get a good portion of food, for what you are paying for...
The lady in the front taking orders seems racist. Because I’m black. She didn’t treat me like she treated the other customers. I came in speaking English and they didn’t help me. Good thing I’m married to a Mexican and know a little of Spanish. Won’t come again, the food isn’t even that good.
I ordered two campechanas which came out to $42!?! The shrimp was dirty. Not cleaned. Just disgusting! When I called back about my issue customer service said they couldnt give me my money because they "dont know if I put something in the food" I also spoke to the manager and she told me the cooks have never cleaned the shrimp and its always been like that. To take my issue up with the owners.
The decor is wonderful! The chips 🍟and salsa yummy! My super beef fajita nachos were great! The relish bar has fresh sliced radishes, pickled jalapeños and carrots. This one is more taqureia style (My favthan the central st location.
Pretty place, tiny tacos, beef was old, probably been sitting for a while.. cashier was rude tho... Must not like her job much... I was undecided between 2 or 3 stars actually.
Its okay food. Not the best, but decent for the area. Tacos are traditional street tacos. Wasnt a fan of their meats they are either dry or rubbery (depending on the meatand flavorless.
Great food! My husband and I shared a carne asada platter and it was more than enough delicious food to feed us both! We stopped in on our way to Colorado for vacation and liked it so much we stopped there again on the way home. Salsa was GREAT too!
Had breakfast was good ! Eggs with ham and a horchta.
Usually really good but not the other day. Out of 2 different menu items. Disappointed to not get the usual guacamole mix with entree. In place of that was an avocado sauce and it wasn’t good.
Good food is good considering its a Mexican restaurant they do not have enchiladas is very strange. They serve their food on paper plates so they give you beans you get probably about 10 little beans and thats it I feel like if they use plates it would just be a whole different ambiance much better.
I liked it. I really liked the salsa here. Its got a little heat to it but it has great flavor. Tacos and rice and beans and guacamole salad were good. About 10 bucks a meal. Im sure Ill come again.
The menudo was going bad and it made us sick. We told them but they swore it was fresh. Not even a refund or any compensation for what we didnt eat, which was the whole order. Do not recommend this place for fresh and good food.
If I could give less stars I would... where to begin? They dont sell single tacos only plates so if you want to grab different tacos your screwed. You gotta order in the front then carry your salsa chips and drinks to your own table which they dont seat you just find your own space. And they dont provide ice cups for drinks so 🤷 yea tough luck. AND NO BACON !!!!!
The stars is for the management & service in this place!! They have NO CLUE WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. They dont know how to treat loyal customers. I brought an issue up with the owner she was dismissve and has a superiority complex. News flash your not the only Mexican restaurant in Dodge. I will be taking my money elsewhere. Not that you care about customer loyalty anyway. Good business people know how to treat customers. If your looking for a pleasant meal with your family and good customer service this is not the place!!!
This place is so good! The atmosphere inside feels like takes you away to another place! The food is fresh and delicious! Very authentic good and wonderful flavors! You can tell they put a lot of time and fresh ingredients into their cooking! We will definitely be return customers!! Thank you for sharing your gift of cooking!
The service was good. The food is fairly mediocre, fine at best. Also it was kinda pricey for what I was expecting but I could have looked it up so thats my fault. The eating area was clean and nice enough.
Best Mexican food place ever! If youre in Dodge, you have to eat here.
Usually stop when in the area. Has always been my go to spot .. Ordered 2 carnita and 1 steak taco with lettuce and cheese, salsa on the side.. They never disappoint. Carnita and steak had flavor and not just heavily seasoned.. tortillas were good not dry and raw.
If I get sick I’ll change it to one star. When you first walk in you get hit with the smell of cleaning fluid. Not so friendly staff but efficient. Steak has been abused and cooked too long. Rice tasted like dirty feet smell. I would not go back.
A Great place to eat. A very good place that shows Dodge City diverse cultural heritage. Salsa was so good, marinated pork was the best. Top it off with horchata, so good.
Delicious food. The waitresses were kind. The service was fast. The best 7mares caldo Ive ever had. Overall great crew and beautifully decorated establishment.
The best Mexican food Ive ever eaten. SalsasA little hot, especially for one small can of soda. Next time in the area, its a must stop. ❤
Very yummy salsa! Al pastor tacos yummy also. This place is legit. Great service too!
great food, Ive been coming back for nearly 10 years. I tell everyone to try it, super hot salsa!
