Tacos Don Chayo in Yakima

Their food is on point no matter what you order. The salsa is good on everything. Service is absolutely friendly and speedy.

I tried the torta de asada with everything on it and a bottle coke with some peanut sauce it was delicious he was very nice and let me sample the sauces.

Was ok. Had the burrito wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. Flavor was lacking

Went there for lunch recently and wow! Great flavors with all the salsas, the torta was delicious and the tacos were the perfect size! We got burritos to go and the girl that works there is the best! Great prices and great food! Definitely give it a try, you will want to go back!!

Excellent service. I hired them to cater my wedding while they don’t serve you at your table the ordering process was quick and people were in and out of line in only a couple minutes. The tacos were AMAZING! Thank you so much, to the staff for making such excellent food for my wedding guests.

Tacos are flavorful but very small. Burrito was good and decent size. Would love to go again for the tacos but cant justify the price/size ratio. Nice couple working there. Good food.

This place is super simple and thats what makes it SO incredible. I went with my dad and uncle. We are all serious taco connesouir. They got beef tacos, I got chicken. They said the beef was kind of chopped up and the spices were incredible. The chicken was shredded and sooo flavorful. We all had the red medium sauce and it is good spicy not too hot, very rich in flavor. The green is super spicy but phenominal and leaves a good heat on the tongue. We left and we are already dreaming of more. We will be back, even if we drive to this side of town JUST for the tacos. And the service was very friendly and very fast service. Absolutely delicious!!

Disappointment! We saw all the reviews and were excited to try it. We ordered 3 quesadillas and 2 asada burritos, my quesadilla had very little meat or cheese. The burritos were dry and flavor-less. 😭

The food is great. They have quick and friendly service. Our crew enjoy eating here and I never though i would say this but there vegetarian tacos are pretty amazing!!!!

I was on a road trip and Googled for tacos in Yakima - came up with Don Chayo. Turn out it was over 10 minutes off the freeway.Well, happy to report the detour was absolutely worth it. The tacos were great, the salsa were tasty, service very fast and he was super-nice. If I lived in Yakima I would be a regular here. The reputation is well earned.

Not so good. The green salsa seemed like only blended jalapenos. The tacos are 2.00 each but the tortillas are VERY tiny. I ordered 2 and my husband 3 and they did not fill us up. My daughter ordered a torta but instead of cream it came with cheese. We ordered carne asada and the meat was dry and over cooked. We will not return

Always good food. Great service. They brought their taco truck to my office one year and catered our Christmas party. Everyone said it was the best thing we had ever done for food.

The customer service is great. They provide a seating area outside and indoors that has air conditioning and free wifi. Also the food is well worth the buck. So... if you are looking for some good taco truck food, this is the place to go!!

Mariano has the best tacos in town! At $1.50/taco, its a good deal. Adobada and asada are classics and impossible to go wrong with! Hes got several different salsa options, but remember - green is hot! I love spicy and find the green to be perfect, but many will find it too spicy. You can also get onions and cilantro on your taco, which are a must. You can him at this location most of the time, but occasionally he takes the truck down to the farms during harvest!
