Taco Rico in Geneve

Good food depending on what you order. Quesadillas are great and good value for the portion. Tacos are pretty terrible, the meat is so wet and vinegary, honestly difficult to eat. The staff are friendly except one who’s pretty unpleasant and seems bothered to be there

a super place for some very good buritos.I always struggle to finish them; they taste super super good.plus very good ideas to have those take-out boxes in case you dont finish your meal

I was a little disappointed with this attempt. We ordered taco boeuf piquant taco poulet BBQ and Burrito Picadillo. Boeuf tastes okay, but the chicken is too dry. Burrito is not recommended and tasteless. About an hour after eating, we all had diarrhea. I dont know if it was the reason for eating this. The staff is not very enthusiastic, maybe the work is too hard!

Great portion and very nice food. Conscious that its Covid but 2 employees preparing food for 20 people on a takeaway format is not smart. 30 minutes to be served, but the guys did their best !

Not quite what I am used to, but DC 🌮 and after living in Florida for years I have a high bar on Tex-Mex cuisine. That being said, food was fresh and has a nice choice of finishing components to fill.out the wrap or bowl. Actual score would be 3.7 out of 5

Not that I have tried many, but this is the best taco place in Geneva so far. Portions massive, and guac plenty. My problem was that the rice (in burritoswas super dry/hard. I had to wait for it to absorb some moisture of guac or sauce before I dig in. Veg tacos are real good!

Tasty and fresh, cost effective

Just what you need to fulfill your tex mex cravings. It has great choice of tacos, burritos and nachos. Portions are very big and for a decent price. We had nice beef burito and nachos. 1 burito with everything was enough to fill 2 adults and was super tasty. You can have mild and tastier version as usual. Inside is very clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely try to come later.

According to my friend taco rico has ery good burritos. Its awhole taco vibe, even though she only orders burritos and not tacos. i will go when i have the time and money, maybe tomorrow, catch my drift.

Great option for quick Mexican foods. The burritos are very similar to Chipotle in the US. They offer student discount.

Concept very similar to Chipotle - food is pretty good, as well as the quality, if you’re just looking for a quick bite. Portions are decent - I took the burrito and thought it was pretty loaded. Prices are a little overrated, but not surprising being in Geneva.

Not impressed, they need to have fresh ingredients and better presentation. The price is a bit too high.

This place is one of the only three authentic "tasting" Mexican restaurants in Geneva. I enjoy the staff even more than the food...very welcoming people. Im American so you can always get me with some basic kindness. Simple stuff.

I really enjoyed the clean and well decorated restaurant. The staff were friendly and spoke english and french well. What I really did like about the choices was that guacomole was FREE with the burrito. As for price: there is a lunch discount offered to unige students. I did not like however the steamed burrito tortillas, which made the burrito hard to bite into. Overall, I would recommend this place to friends.

Very good food and friendly staff. Can’t say if it’s authentic as I’ve never had Tex Mex in the States but this is how I imagine it to be.Highly recommend it!

American style burritos made in front of you as you order. Tastes and feels authentic. This is a typical fast food place, it’s quick in and quick out, the atmosphere is not for long and cosy sit-downs.

Sadly I only have one picture. Everytime I eat at this place I cannot wait to tuck in. Its really super good. Very very tasty. I highly recommend the BBQ chicken, its super flavourful.

Coming from California this is the only Mexican/TexMex place I frequent around Geneva. Fresh ingredients, tasty, and as close to the real thing as Ive found.

Not cheap for a take away/self service, but it is very good and quick. Not sure why I have not noticed this place before.Burrito is not very well done at lunch. Lets see how it will continue with the place and me 😉

The food is good and you have a lot of options to really make youre meal the way you want it. As a vegan I can go there knowing that I wont have any problem eating there.Only down side. It can be a little pricy.

The tacos here are based on small, round, corn tortillas, as they well should be! And, while theres an option for ground cheese on top its not the default. The house salsa is really good, and there are bottled commercial hot-sauces available as well. You can step it all the way up to Psycho Juice if you need a religious experience.My only complaint is that the tortillas are not made fresh, so they dont have that light, fluffy, falling apart quality that you get in Mexico.They make california-style burritos too, which seems to be what most people were choosing.I just wanted to note for the record that marwahobs review below seems to be about a different place entirely. Taco Rico doesnt have table service (you stand in line at the grill as nature intended), nor do they have tartar or gaspacho.Nadias review seems to be for another place too. I think shes talking about Supreme Tacos which offers "tacos à la français".

Yummy food, very authentic. Grabbed a bite for dinner and was very pleased.
