Unusual food. Really worth a visit

Great cheeses, hams and smoked sausages. Their house wine is also really good.The manager is super friendly, helps you navigate through the menu and gives you the origin on everything you order.Will def go back when in Porto.

***Absolutely amazing*** had the Tasting from the Sea menu option, all local fishes. The sardines are the best, mackerel delicious both codfish were incredible! Staff were very helpful, kind and willing to help with choices. The house red wine compliments the ham and cheese toast really well. A must have is the chocolate salami dessert to end a fantastic meal!

Wine bar on the mission to present best of the Portuguese selection of wines, meats, cheese other delicatessen.Waiters were very attentive, they present all products they serve and their sommelier really know their stuff.Though for the price cheese board could be better.Recommend if youre into wine and cheese to get to know Portuguese variety.

Very good charcuterie. All locally sourced, artisanal meats and cheeses (and wines, and dessert items). Nicely priced packages for 2 and more persons with board, a couple of hot plates, wine and dessert. Staff is very attentive and can explain all sourcing choices. The menu is very short and simple, yet complete for the concept. This is an excellent choice for a small gathering of friends and a good conversation. Recommend arranging a reservation in advance, as they only have around 15 tables.

Long, warm room with great, jazzy music and a charming, kind staff (and excellent English). Lots of organic choices and specialties made just for them by their local farm partners. A little inflexible on how they serve, but we loved the food and vibe. My favorite was the needlefish in citrus vinaigrette.

I love this place! Last time I was I. Porto before covid I came here twice in 4 days!! So I knew when I was coming back to Porto with my boyfriend (who has never beenthe first stop on our trip was going to be here.We had the Taste the Earth sharing meal which includes a selection of cheese and meats, a choice of local sausage or chorizo and melted cheese (a bit like the best fondue you have ever eaten). Also included was a glass of local wine, desserts and bread.We both loved it and it was just as good as I remember. I was on a food tasting walking tour today and I told all of our group that they should try and go whilst on their trip! They all said they would I know they will leave happy.Thank you! Next time I am in Porto I will be back!Forgot to take pictures this time as we just started eating!

This is a very nice place. I went here on my own (first restaurant ever who didnt react to a woman going out eating on her ownI had the cheese and ham board and the melted cheese - it was amazing! And the service was impeccable, they speak perfect english and are superpolite. Please try the house wine - it is really good.

Incredible, we were concerned about having a vegetarian in our group but plenty of fish options and a salad option too. We ordered the board, and everything that looked good. I wish we had done it in courses, because we would have gotten the best Meats from the board.Crowd favorite was the pork neck, with balsamic.

Absolutely amazing, highlight of our holiday. The food is very good and the staff was exceptionally friendly! Dont be fooled by the word tapas, unlike its spanish counterpart, the Portugese are not skimpy on their portions! We had the fish tasting menu, which was very good. Overall a great time and great food, definitely worth checking out (and clearing your evening schedule for).

We had a lovely tasting experience throughout the Hearth menu, discovering local Portuguese products, all very well cooked. The staff is very nice speaking some French to explain the concept and all of the menu.Nice atmosphere and excellent food quality

Don’t expect typical seafood restaurant. It is a charming tapas place where they serve only food from local farmers and even though it’s a quite big space there is only about 10 tables which gives you a quite time.We had a cheese and ham board as a startes when the very helpful staff told us all about the cheeses and hams. As a main dish we had a canned fish which was amazing aswell. We had a lovely evening thanks to the staff and their hospitality.

Service was really good. Very friendly owners who explained every details in food. What I find perfect is that everything on the menu was portuguese and from small local producers. I would recommend here for cheese & charcuterie selections. However maybe it is not a perfect fit for those whom wanted to have tapas experience.Actually I would give 4.5 stars, and 4.0 star wouldnt be fair, thats why I went with 5 stars.

Worth the wait!! Amazing service, staff, and Portuguese charcuterie selection and the cherry on top is everything is locally sourced or specially made for the restaurant, you cant get better quality and flavour than this. If you ask nicely, you can actually take home some of the charcuterie and other goodies with you! We had an amazing evening here and definitely will come back again!

I couldnt recommend more, second time that I come with friends in one month!! the staff is really nice, the concept is great ; the restaurant works with small producers directly, they are revisiting the specialties from the North of Portugal, everything is tasty!! And the price is really reasonable for the quality!

Excellent staff and amazing food. Our favourite place in Porto, by far! Lovely night of enjoying wonderful cheese, wine and meat accompanied by a brief history of each.

We loved it there. Very friendly staff. We came in without an reservation and would have taken a place at the counter, but they offered us a table for one hour. We tried something out of every category except dessert. We got a little introduction to everything we ordered. Everything tasted very good and the atmosphere did the rest.

We had a fabulous dining experience at tabua rasa. It was the combination of the amazing food, the fantastic wines and the hospitality and passion of the owner and the staff. Highly recommended!

The cheese and charcuterie experience here was amazing, everything with a perfect taste, the waitresses have been super nice and funny, the wine, omg the wine we enjoyed a lot! Recommended!

I cant get enough of this place! To the point I could have dinner here every night when Im visiting Porto! Its not just the food and wine, its the experience and staff as well! Cant praise it enough!

Great place to have dinner present-day traditional Portugese style. Several traditional cheeses, great assortment of meats and artisan bread as well as a broad choice of famous Portugese canned fish. And that’s no joke! You will absolutely be amazed.. And for the connoisseurs of wine and port there is also a fine selection.We went twice in four days!! Totally loved it.And the staff were more than friendly and very helpful.

Very nice place, service was great in English, fine cheeses and salami but without a lot of vegetables, the meal was a little heavy.

The best dinner I have had in Porto so far. Finally the tradition through an accurate selection of what this beautiful country has to offer. Charcuterie, cheese and quality canned fish are here to make you enjoy life. The whole team gifted us with high quality food, cozy atmosphere and great service. Definitely an experience I would recommend, don’t miss it! Really hope to be back soon! 🙂

The cheese and meat plate is really nice! They have lots of rare and tasty jams. We tried pumpkin and fig, they work perfect with cheese and cured meats. The chouriço is a bit dry but the taste is pretty good!

The staff is really good and dedicated to the clients. They welcomed us really well and explained to us with good care the different choices we had for the menu.Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the taste of the cheese. It is really more salty than in our country, compared to Belgian or French cheese we were really disappointed.The price seemed to be reasonable but compared to the cooking time, I dont think it is completely appropriate. We wont come back even if the place is quite nice.

The quality and flavor of the food was exquisite. The knowledge and friendliness of the workers transformed a very good dinner into an experience my family and I will remember and talk about for a long time. Carolina specifically, was a joy to talk with and independently made me eager to return. Our server, Henri, was fun, energetic, and eager to answer our many questions with his vast reserves of knowledge on the food.I was the only vegetarian in my group but was not disappointed by their cheese selection and 100% recommend the salad for any vegetarians.

The place is really cool and comfy, perfect atmosphere. We tasted a series of cheeses and cured meat all from Portugal — the best we had in several days in Porto and a very tasty alheira. The price is expensier than average bills in Porto but it’s worthy for their quality. Perfect and kind service!

It was our last night in Porto, and I only wish we had found this place three nights earlier so we could’ve come more than once. This was by far the best cheese and charcuterie board I’ve ever had in my life. I loved that everything was sourced locally and sustainably. More than worth what we paid — both the food and wine!!

We stopped by accident because it looked beautiful. Although it was full they managed to get a place for us. We experienced such a perfect place. Best regional sausages and cheeses served with love and many information about the product and the taste. Everything is made with love. Extra plus: very sympathic and warmly service. Great service and very good food.. Me and my boyfriend ordered bacalhau with chickpeas and tuna with garlic preserve. This came with a tasty salad, olives, pickles, sundried tomatoes, bread and oil with garlic. Then we ordered the medium cheese and ham platter together with a Portuguese chorizo and wild boar alheira sausage. Everything was amazing. We were recommended the vallado wine made at the duoro which we liked very much.Very friendly staff and they were happy to explain their menu. We loved their recommendations and tips about the food. Would definitely recommend!

A great experience, would recommend to anyone. The place offers great tapas and all menu items (except coca colaare made in Portugal. Service was great and the person that was serving us gave us detailed explanations and recommendations from the menu. Wine was expectional as well. We had cod and tuna from the fish section which were amazing. For the meat we ordered chorizo (my favourite item overall, dipped in honey!and alheira (least favourite, its a sausage made with a mixture of bread and meat).One of the best dining experiences in Porto for me.

We had a great diner at Tábua Rasa! The local cured meat and cheese plate was great. Loved the sausage too, the fish and dessert, everything was delicious.The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

We’ve visited this place today and were blown away. We took the mixed plate with local cheese and meat. The waitress explained every single thing on the plate when bringing it to the table and recommended a delicious wine with it. All in all the service was very warm-hearted and attentive.The price for the food is more than reasonable for what you get there.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste authentic portuguese food and have a great time.

What can I say? This was our best meal in Portugal. The mixed cheese/deli/hot meats platter was incredible and the stand-out element was the alheira. The house red wine was great. Would also recommend the cheesecake ice cream dessert with cherry compote. Really friendly service too. Would love to return!
