MoreOh wow! Just wow. I spent two day there. Beautiful traditional shops, nice cafe and restaurant. The rug bazaar is amazing. It’s such huge and dense place with nice courtyards.
MoreThe worlds largest indoor market is located in Tabriz, and the second largest market in Iran after Tehran belongs to Tabriz.
MoreSo wonderful as 1001 Nights!Dont miss it.
An ancient bazaar in Tabriz. A good place for buying famous tabriz carpets and leather products and also spices. Also if you can bear a very long line you can enjoy famous Haaj ali chelo kabab.
MoreI love it...I miss my hometown and Tabriz grand Bazar so much.
is a historical market situated in the city center of Tabriz, Iran. It is one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East and the largest covered bazaar in the word. It is used by local people and every arcade sells specific items. For example one of them sells only carpet, the orher one sells spice, another sells fruit...etc.It was so big, I could not see all of it- scared of being lost:)
MoreThe biggest traditional roofed bazaar in the world. you can find almost everything there, from spices to clothing, cutlery and carpets. It is very crowded at noon. So better take a good care of your belongings while enjoying the old vibe of Tabriz Bazaar.
MoreGreat place to walk and do shopping
I recommend here to visit for every tourist

Tabriz Great Bazaar is the biggest roofed bazaar of Iran. It is also the vastest and largest roofed and bricky complex in the world.
MoreLoved it.You can find almost everything you want with fair prices
Hello my friendIt is great that you traveled to one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Tabriz Bazaar is one of the oldest, most beautiful and largest bazaars in Iran, and you enjoy the view you see step by step in this bazaar. I hope you experience good moments in Tabriz Bazaar
MoreThis is all the beauty, tradition, and trade history of mid-east in one place! A magnificent Bazaar offering colors, lovely smell of fresh rose petals and spices, and a variety of other stuff. You should not miss the carpet sections (Mozaffariyeh for exampleand spice traders. Grand bazaar is huge and resembles a maze, through which one should walk and just enjoy! And dont forget to sneak in the open yards between the sections and take a seat, drink your tea and enjoy watching the porches and balconies of the shops. Start your walk around 11 am and eat a delicious traditional lunch (chelo-kabab or aabgushtin one of the historic restaurants in the bazaar. You wont forget the experience!
MoreThis Bazar is of my favorite places in Tabriz because you will almost find everything there. The good point of Tabriz grand bazaar is you can buy all the stuff unpacked and its environmental friendlyDont miss the spice market the quality and price is really good .
MoreA very big Bazaar and you can buy almost everything here. Daily basis, vegetables, meat.. whatever you imagined. If you are going to buy something you must negotiate with the seller or some will try to cheat you. The carpet here is incredible if you had a chance to visit, you should consider bringing one carpet with you home
Morenice and crowded place like a other oriental bazaars, you can find everything. Sunday most of shops are closed but mostly you can find anything. Visit Carpet bazaar and also spicies, test Lighvan cheese (homemade from sheep milk)
MoreThe Bazaar of Tabriz is a historical market situated in the city center of Tabriz, Iran. It is one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East and the largest covered bazaar in the world. It is one of Irans UNESCO World Heritage Sites.Tabriz has been a place of cultural exchange since antiquity. Its historic bazaar complex is one of the most important commercial centres on the Silk Road. A bazaar has existed on the same site since the early periods of Iranian urbanism following Islam. The bazaar was mentioned by the Venetian traveler Marco Polo, who claimed to have passed through it while journeying on the Silk Road.Located in the center of the city of Tabriz, Iran, the structure consists of several sub-bazaars, such as Amir Bazaar (for gold and jewelry), Mozzafarieh (a carpet bazaar, sorted by knot size and type), shoe bazaar, and many other ones for various goods such as household items. Tabriz and its bazaar were at their most prosperous in the 16th century, when the town became the capital city of the Safavid kingdom. The city lost its status as a capital in the 17th century, but its bazaar has remained important as a commercial and economic center. Although numerous modern shops and malls have been established nowadays, Tabriz Bazaar has remained the economic heart of both the city and northwestern Iran.
MoreI love Tabriz Grand Bazaar a lot. Especially its restaurants as well as its Serais(Caravansary)
MoreVery beautiful old Bazar of Tabriz! Interesting experience !!
Factors such as the architecture of the Tabriz Bazaar, the arrangement of shops, the plenty of mini-caravans, caravans, corridors, passage, as well as the types of businesses and professions, the existence of a large number of schools and mosques, which are mostly historic, has made this bazaar a perfect example of business and Islamic and Oriental life.

MoreA very large bazaar with many historical buildings and beautiful lanes.

MoreOne of the biggest closed bazaars in the world, renowned for its carpet collection. I could spot hundreds of shops selling the world famous iranian carpets though quite expensive but of supreme quality. There are also many shops selling good quality of dry fruits and saffron. Must visit place if you are coming to Tabriz.
MoreOne of the biggest markets in the world. As a Turk it reminded a lot of the Istanbul Grand Bazaar. Thousands of small shops and hole in the wall tea spots. You will stumble upon a bunch of hookah places. We spend almost half a day here and it felt so authentic. Shop owners were not clingy at all. The level of hospitality pleased us a lot!
MoreGood place for shopping and its so traditional place for shopping
One of my favorite places to visit every time Im in Tabriz. It has retained its old charm and character. It is undoubtedly a complex, large and entertaining bazar. Here you will find almost everything you need. From one passage to the other, the products change and so do the colors. Here you can really experience the smell of bazar. Just close your eyes and go back in time.I just love this place...
MoreTabriz bazaar is not only huge and interesting from the point of view of architecture, but its the most authentic bazaar Ive ever seen. This Bazaar is one of the largest covered Bazaar in the world. It has an old history. Marco Polo has written about Tabriz Bazaar. This is the longest covered bazaar in the world and It is one of Irans UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You can walk through the Tabriz Bazaar for hours, drinking tea, looking at shops and enjoy your time.
MoreYou can find anything in there and I mean anything!!!!! from fruit till carpet and rug and toys for babies!!!for me the interesting part was the architecture of that place its truly amazing! And definitely you get lost in there its not possible for you exit from the door that you entered its like a maze in thereBy the way the carpet and rug section is open at 9 am till 1 pm
MoreOne of the most authentic bazaars I came upon in the whole Middle east. Full of life, full of colours, full of friendly people. No problem snapping any picture youd like here. Certainly one of the highlights in Iran. Dont miss it. And make sure to buy some pistachios, the best ones in the world are right here.
MoreReally good bazaar. It was so nice to wander through without getting hassled to buy stuff all the time like in for example Istanbul. Plenty of choice to fill your backpack and also lots of photo opportunities. Loved it. I was also surprised to find that it continued across the “river” into an uncovered rough “everyday “ market. Awesome bridges but unfortunately most of the shops are empty on the one we walked across.
MoreIts not so crowded and huge as in Teheran, prices are good and choice not bad. If you are not too picky or you want to buy various items popular in Iran quickly - its place to go. Teheran bazaar is better if you have a lot of time (and pile of money for high quality products), although Isfahan is better for shops targeted solely at tourists. Yazd shops have more items with local touch e.g. plates, carpets are not so baroque (I would count it as advantage).
MoreIn the last moments, to much chinan items, if You need wonderful carpets, leater goods You will find , if You search, wonderful serays, cellars.
MoreTabriz grand bazar is bigest roofed market in world and its very old.Traditional things mix with modern things. And tabriz famous silk carpet market is in this place and that name is bazar mozafarye
Morenever miss the greatest ancient roofed bazaar in Iran.
This is the magical carpet bazzar of Tabriz. The most famous Iranian carpet Bazzar
MoreIt was a wonderful place. It makes you feel like youre in ancient Iran. There was a restaurant in the bazar itself. The kebab at that place was pretty good. The restaurant was called "haj ali / حاج علی". The first food on the menu is exclusive to that restaurant. You can find persian rugs, gold, and etc. The best rugs are found in "saraye mozaffarieh".
MoreOne of the oldest and grandest bazars in Iran and Middle East. It is the largest covered bazaar in the world and is one of Irans UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are a few arcades built in the middle of bazar which usually have a small garden and benches. It is clean and crowded and unique.
MoreHuge bazaar with probably anything you need. A real trading place, not a tourist trap. Amazing to see such a marketplace surviving a long history. A real heritage!
MoreOne of the best places to buy rugs and carpets in the world.
Interesting place to visit - we visited whilst driving through Iran and would recommend
