Friendly waitstaff and great food

The waiting was an hour for a cesar salad for my wife and a hamburger. The hamburger was awful, dry same as the bun, the topics you cannot distinguish what we’re because they were burned, like little pieces of charcoal.I will not recommend this place at all.

We were 2 couples who arrived from Banf after a 6.5hour drive. Enjoyed sitting in Table24 in a Relaxed Atmosphere . Food was really good and the serving was substantial. Had a Great evening.

The breakfast is such a joke makes it seem like it would be nice restaurant but your restricted to 3 options

My experience at your restaurant made me sad. There was a lack of service in an empty restaurant; excruciatingly slow service; a large portion of the menu was unavailable; kids food came out last and we were told at the time of food being brought to table that options werent available. Sure the food tasted good, but that doesnt count when youre not acting as though youre in the service industry. 🙁

I dont often walk out of a restaurant without ordering, but this is one of those times.Table 24 used to be known as one of the few fine dining options in Salmon Arm, but sadly it has turned into cheap roomservice for the adjoining hotel.Its the worst menu Ive ever seen. The menu consists of standard pub fare, like seven other restaurants in Salmon Arm, but manages to somehow be more restrictive and plain than anywhere else Ive ever seen. Deep fried appetizers, seven shockingly mundane pizzas, a single burger and chicken fingers. Its the frozen isle special, brought to you by a local deep freeze and Sysco.Im not one to shy away from a burger, or deep fried foods. I love a good burger. Ill eat some pub food if Im hungry. But at any pub you go to, theres at least something mildly unique. Theres some little addition, maybe a weird sandwich or stir fry. Maybe a burger with a local berry sauce and pickled cabbage. Anything at all. A steak sandwich, which is generally boring, wouldve seemed unique on this menu.I entered this restaurant, sat down, read the menu, and it actively made me more depressed. The staff seemed to share my enthusiasm for recent changes. They were nice enough as staff. Service seemed nice, at leastIn conclusion, go anywhere else. Theres better places in town with better food. Theres other mediocre restaurants in town that at least have better selection.

The highlight of this restaurant was the entrée. My wife loved her mushroom dish.On the other hand, timing of the service was terrible.We ordered drinks when we arrived. Prior to the arrival of the drinks, we then ordered dinner, and asked the waitress about the wines. She really didnt know anything about the wine, despite the restaurant having a decent wine list, so we ordered a nice bottle and asked that the wine be served with dinner. Both our drinks and the bottle of wine arrived at about the same time. The wine arrived with the lid still on; we served ourselves. The appetizer and entrée arrived about 20 minutes later.We ordered a Caesar salad to share as our appetizer. It came in a round bowl, and we were given a smaller square bowl for the other person. We had to use our hands to divide it up as our dinner forks werent adequately up to the job.Oh, and our main course arrived at the same time as our appetizer.Was freshly ground pepper offered? Nope.I wouldnt call this a failure on the part of the server, but rather a HUGE failure on the part of the management team. Staff training is actually a thing that they havent seem to have grasped.Otherwise, the hotel was just fine.

Its a nice little place to eat and has really good food

The food was incredible. This will be our go to place when we want a night out.

This is the " special occasion" pick for Salmon Arm, very pricey, but creative food, very " cheffy" the service is fantastic and its a nice looking place inside.

Overall Excellent place, food and service.

So enjoyed our meal but really wanted a steak but couldnt have one because they only offered a 10oz. This is too much food and really feel that a smaller steak could be offered. I tasted my husbands filet and it was so tender and delicious. Wish I could have had it. Rethink your menu and offer smaller options for people who cant eat as much.

So amazing! Best meal Ive had in along time even with 3 kids. Husband had the halibut and I had the chicken parmesean. Kids had the pizza, chicken fingers and both were great, dad even ate the left overs. Service was awesome as well. Friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely coming back.

Expected a fine dining experience from this "fine" dining restaurant . And received nothing but terrible service. Wasnt greeted, wine was subpar and for such a extensive wine menu. The servers had no insight on the wines they carry. There was a fly in my water and my charcutteri platter was over crowded, resulting in blended flavours that did not compliment eachother. wont be going back.theres always a brand new servers ever time i try this place ands every year its a dissapointment

You pay for incredible food and one of a kind service at Table 24! Totally worth it!

I travel quite a bit for business and enjoy a quality meal. This restaurant is as good if not better than many "big city" high end restaurants. Whoever it is that would rate this at a one star had obviously never had perfectly cooked meat or a quality meal. Everything from the burgers to the seafood is absolutely top notch. Even the items off of the kids menu are spectacular.

My mom has been here before and said it was really good. Unfortunately for today we had a new server who wasnt familiar with the menu. It was quite slow. Was for her and my birthday.The food was lovely.

Do not pass this place if you love good food. Fabulous!!!

Excellent place to eat and stay in the adjoining hotel.I was told by someone I met in Kamloops that Salmon Arm has an amazing restaurant in the Podollan Inn. That just happened to be the same hotel we were travelling to next on our road trip. Well, they were right! The food was amazing and the staff very friendly at the Table 24 Restaurant. The Chef came out to greet us and ask how we would like our meals. This Peruvian Chef ( cant recall his namewas a very nice guy and served us the most amazing Venison for myself and Steak for my colleague. The Bartender was also very friendly and kept us very well taken care of.The next morning, we both enjoyed an amazing breakfast made by the same chef, which was also very very good. And again, he came out to greet us.I would definitely visit this place again and recommend it to anyone.Not to mention Salmon Arm is very picturesque and apparently has lots to do. Its a heavily visited place by those who know about it.

Very friendly service

New chef in the spring of 2015. Seasonal menu based on local ingredients and they have their own vegetable and herb garden. Almost everything is made in-house -- the sauces, baguettes, muffins, cakes and desserts, for example, or sourced locally -- the buns and sandwich breads come from a local bakery and the lamb from a local organic farm.Exceptional service, too. Simply put it was the worst dinning experience I can recall.There were a number of disappointments with service.The pasta, trout, and steak were all very good. The burger was so salty I did not want to finish it.

Amazing service, excellent food at moderate but seemingly fair prices. Alisa served me and I was very impressed.
