Good food, good wine and beer selection. Tempranillo on menu was out, but good substitute. Good homemade drinks, too. Mollejas and asparagus tasty. Tortilla española had some cold spots. Cool ambiance.

Great little Tapas bar! More people need to come here! We were in at dinnertime on a weekday and the place was basically empty! To this I ask: WHY?! Calamari was great, good selection of cured meats and cheeses (all that we tried were delicious), and the croquetas were unique and delicious. We also loved the white beans and chorizo. Cant wait to try out some more offerings the next time that I am in town!

Fantastic tapas bar. We ordered several menu items and enjoyed each of them thoroughly. I highly recommend the goats milk blue. Sorry I forget what its was called but it was heavenly

Best restaurant I have tried in Laredo! Very tasty, friendly staff (thank you, Hector!), and great ambiance. Wine selection looks great, and the Spanish margarita was almost too easy to drink. I recommend the datil pintxos, patatas bravas, and aros de calamar. We’ll definitely be coming back with a bigger crowd so we can try more.

Came here once 1 year ago. Food was awesome. My favorite place in town (Im not local)I went back today. Called 1st because I was arriving from work late close to their close time. They said if we got there before 9.50, wed be fine. Got there at 9.45. The same person that answered the phone welcomed us and told that wed be kicked out by 10.20. I understand people workers wanting to go home, and I was trying to be respectful asking ahead, but for that, change your closing time or dont tell people to come if youll kick them out midway through their meal. Foods great but this experience shows they could improve their customer service.

Everything there is delicious! Its like an appetizer restaurant. My wife and i were choosing things at random and nothing disappointed.The staff were very friendly and have us their suggestions on what to try.Would definitely go there again.

Visiting from Chicago, I have eaten this chefs cooking before and was excited to try Tabernilla. Nicely appointed space would be comfortable for after work drinks and small plates or date night. Went for an early dinner started with a selection of cheeses and meats. Nice wine and cocktail selections as well, we had a few. The highlight for me was the Fideau Negra Paella. I am a food guy in a big city and have never had anything quite like it. Pasta instead of rice makes up the base of this particular Paella. Turned black from squid ink with succulent strips of sea bass as well as scallops and clams. Topped with a dollop of creamy aoili the dish is to die for. We inhaled it. I will have it every time I am in Laredo.

This is one of the greatest places for fine dining in laredo. Great customer service private setting the food was delicious.

The food herw is ridiculously good! We ordered a bit of everything and the staff was very friendly!They were able to give us advice on what combinations go well with others. When told what the food is made of, it may sound a bit plain, but the taste is a whole new level!The drinks are also very good, their recommendations seem to be well thought out along with the presentation.Dessert are only available in four choices, ww tried the cake and it was very good.I definitely recommend it to everyone out there.

My wife and I have added this place to date night meals. We love it here and have enjoyed the food tremendously. Even though we are familiar with the menu, we are constantly finding something new to try. Service is top notch too. This wonderful like gem in Laredo in surprised me. I went on Yelp and saw my choices were limited for my stay in Laredo. However, when I saw tapas I had to take the chance...and I’m so glad I did. The tapas were a mix of traditional Spanish tapas and so interest new versions. All were very good to excellent. The service (bar service for me as I always eat at the barswas excellent. As for the prices-I don’t think I could have done better. All the meat skews were either $3 or $4 and that was per plate- usually two skewers!If you find yourself in Laredo, find Tabernilla!!

OMG. SO GOOD ! Jerry the Manager recommended a few apps which is what this place mostly consists of. Small little bite sized samples of Spaniard goodness all in one bite. Drinks? Bomb Prices? Cant beat them. Will definitely come back and hopefully have my same server Beto. He was our server at another restaurant that week and he remembered exactly how I like my drinks. Very hard to find good service like that these days. Thank You Tabernilla ! Highly recommend =)

My wife and I had a date night for Valentines Day and we decided to go to Tabernilla. I am very glad she picked this place. We had a great time. There was a very nice date night atmosphere. Its very clean and the host, Jerry, was a great host. The food was delicious and mainly focused on Spanish food, (Spain, not Mexican). I had the Codorniz Al Jerez which is quail. It was served on a plate made of adobo, I believe, that gave it sense of dining in old wooden cabin somewhere in Spain. My wife and I enjoyed it and ourselves very much. I would highly recommend this place for a date night or just to have a drink from their bar. We will definitely be going back.

I travel A LOT... this place is a gem! If youre a wine O or a bourbon to end your day person. Definitely great selection. The food is top notch. Dont be intimidated by the unknown. The staff will guide you in detail if you just ask the question. Friendly comfortable atmosphere. Will not be disappointed!

Visiting from Dallas, TX and we were surprised to find a Tapas bar in Laredo. The food was wonderful and the staff very courteous. We will definitely be back to this place in the future.

Ummm? Yummy. The bartender a were both helpful, sweet and very knowledgeable. They took their time with us and made excellent recommendations. The ice cold orange slices from the Chefs personal garden and fruit trees were devine. We will be back next week for sure!

It was my first time ever visiting an establishment of this kind. It was the best experience ever. A big hearty thanks to Jerry, the manager and Hector, a superb wait staff. They were so warm and friendly and the food was awesome. It is a great place for socializing with a bestie. Kevin and I had a FANTABULOUS time. We talked about it all the way back to Austin.😎

The place looks awesome, the tapas that I tried were really good, something different to try. Unfortunately all the good things about the restaurant were opaque greatly by the bad service provided there. The waiter was rude throughout the whole interaction, I don’t know if that’s the culture that leadership inspires his employees since to be honest most of the employees appeared to be in a bad mood. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to hear that things have changed and maybe I’ll visit the restaurant again and try the things that I wanted to.

Me and my wife had recently visited this restaurant due to the reviews. Let me just say that this place had exceeded our expectations. My only complaint would be that I couldnt stay and spend more money lol. Ive never been to a place that made my favorite cocktail old fashion so delicious. Our waiter took the time to explain everything on the menu and even told us what he recommended and what were fan favorites without making us feel like a burden. We will definitely come again.

Ive been here twice and only had one dish but that salmon is just amazing! My server took the time to help me find a wine I liked but would also pair nicely with my dish. Very friendly and fast service.

Tabernilla is, hands down, the best place in Laredo. I was here on a quick visit for my family, and my boyfriend and I had dinner here.First off, the sangria is superb. It is wonderful. I had the Alubia Blanca con Chorizo and the Aros de Calamar, and they were both wonderful. We had the Pastel Porto for dessert. That cake took the cake. It was absolutely delightful.Rest assured, if youre thinking of going anywhere else for date night or for drinks, dont go there, go here. Go here for everything. 10000/10 would do again.

Authentic Tapas experience without traveling to Europe! Excellent menu, spirits, service. Located conveniently near the Laredo airport in a brand new, lovely building. Modest prices for excellently prepared food, many, many choices. We ate late one evening, the kitchen closed shortly after, but diners are welcome to stay at their tables long after. True hospitality.

My husband and I have been here three times already! Fantastic service, a large variety of interesting cheeses and hams for you to make a platter with. Nice entree selections too. Desserts are spectacular if you are not stuffed after all the hot and cold tapas. I have tried most of the tapas and enjoyed them. My favorite is the Pato Membrillo.
