Teppenyaki grill, Japanese & Thai fare offered in an elegant setting inside an upscale hotel.
We went to TKs for dinner and the experience was very underwhelming. I did not expect this kind of service with the 5 star hotel Hyatt. The food and service and the attitude of the staff is horrible!! They are ruining the Hyatt nameThe service was horrible. The food was average, and the restaurant felt like a shack , over crowded. The servers did not have the time give the menus, let alone take the order. The server (I think his name was Prateek or Paras - tall, fair , plump guydid not inform us about the portions properly nor did he guide us through the menu. He was busy serving others. In the end when we complained about it, all he had to say was that he was he was busy! What kind of hospitality is that.We had ordered the fixed menu, the chef did not ask us any questions like, how we would like our food prepared or what sauces we would prefer... everything tasted the same and the food was very average. There was a time that TKs was one of the best in Delhi but now the service and the quality is below average!!
Loved the experience. You can pick plenty of meat and veggies and cooked into front of you. Chef was great and catered to our taste. Service is slow but worth it. If youre in a hurry wont recommend.Only suggestion is would be good if someone explain how to go about picking and mixing for buffet in the beginning for first timers.
Brilliant food as always.
Third class service and third class food at 5000 per head cost without alcohol and no deserts. Under staffed and the serving staff is amateur. I am a Club at the Hyatt member. Have been eating at Hyatt Delhi restaurants from past 30 years. But TK’s has disappointed me to no end. Pure waste of money and time.
Yesterday TKS hyaat regency awesome food quality at par little over priced but sure a hit for oriental taste buds . Chef and staff are very friendly
Poor quality meat. Prawns any smaller would be visible under a microscope. Very generic seasoning, possibly out of a retail pack. Wine prices are bordering on the absurd. A bottle of SA chocolate block which retails for Rs. 900 in Capetown, is listed for Rs 15,000. First bottle was served at room temperature, forgetting we are not in Europe but in the heart of Asia, in the middle of summer. Totally forgettable experience.
Amazing quality of food and service. Spent almost 3 hours eating. Go there only if you can eat a lot. Skip 2 meals prior to the meal at this top grade food joint. I’m gonna visit again for sure.
Kids loved the live cooking, and the food is good too.
Awesome food, nice drinks, but also expensive.
Excellent Teppanyaki Experience. We ordered the Teppanyaki Set Menu. Highlight for us was "Sautéed black tiger prawn, spinach, oriental yellow curry" Highly recommend.Service: Very Cordial Staff. Special thanks to Chef Sunil who made our evening a memorable one.Tip: The set menu is enough for 2 people. We accidentally ordered 2 sets and struggled to finish everything between the two, however the staff was kind enough to pack the rest.
No doubt one of the best restaurant.
Worst experience! They take reservations and then they don’t have seating. The service has definitely gone down over the years.
Really annoying to book. They need to improve their reservation system.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.Try the pork belly. Its unbelievably delicious
Worst reservations team ever. Extremely rude, lacking basic manners. Please hire better staff for this team.
The overall experience was amazing. What could have been better? We had to wait 30 mins even with a reservation in place.
Great food, Chef Deepak as always its amazing
Food and experience were both excellent. Well worth the price.
My family and I have been a regular at the restaurant since I can remember. However, the past few weeks the attitude of the team is so unprofessional that I will never go there anymore. First, an error was made by the person taking my reservation and booked it for Friday instead of Saturday. Then, when I called the restaurant again on Saturday, they said they would look into the matter and get back to me in half an hour. When I called back after 2 hours, because I had not received a call back from the team, it could not get through. I tried from a different phone and it went through which shows that they blocked my no.!!!Being a graduate in hospitality, I can say with conviction that is the most rude and unprofessional behaviour I have ever come across! I will never be coming here ever again and will suggest others in my network to do the same!!!
Amazing food. Service is a bit slow. Waiters ask silly questions.
The attitude of the staff not so great! Nj complain about the food but the front staff and specially the staff greeting at the entrance need to watch out for their behaviour and attitude.
Very average experience! There was nothing that stood out, from a 5 star restaurants you would expect wowed expeience from taste, presentation and variety perspective.Teppanyaki preparation lacked variety, we have tried 5 different meats but they all tasted almost sameSalads and mocktails were interesting.
The ambiance was nice, food was okay but it just took too long to serve.
This is the only place in Delhi, I know , where you can eat food on the side of the hot plate and chef Cook before you as pwr your choice, very nice sauces and gravies are used to cook Pan Asian food, Yummy
Love cooking. Very flavoursome. Just a small concern of small portion size.
Great food. But had different experiences the two times I was there. So a lot depends on the who is there behind the counter. The first time, the person making the food took care to ask spice level etc. I ordered the same thing the next day for dinner and ended up getting something a bit too spicy and the garlic chips were kinda burnt. Still, a very good place for Japanese food. Just make sure they make a note of your preference.
The standard of TKs has come down a bit. Was disappointed as Ive enjoyed so many amazing meals here. Good quality food, but they could do better on selection of their recipes
My favourite place for oriental grill food . Still see lot of Nostalgic dishes which are their for decades but they are just awesome . And great hospitality by chefs and service staff .They are simply great .👍👍👍
Loved the staff and their warmth. Everyone was accommodating and allowed us to feel at so much ease. Desserts were fantastic. Teppanyaki was a bit too saucy for my liking but the wonderful attitude of the staff more than made up for my picky tastes. I felt the decor could be refurbished as it looks worn out and dated and not even remotely Japanese.
More than decade and it never fails you. Its a delight to dine there. Always. Efficient staff, excellent food quality and true quality. Im a Fan for all the right reasons.
Enjoy the experience of having the food cooked in front of you and the ability to eat at your pace one disk at a time.
If you know whats good for you, dont bother eating here.Trust me - Id give this place absolutely no stars if I could. For some reason, every single member of my family returns home with an upset stomach after dining here - I really do need to consult a tantrik at this point.Went here two days ago and came back with a full-fledged case of food poisoning that rendered me so ill that I felt too weak to move an inch and had to miss an extremely important chem test. The food was sub-par at best, the teriyaki chicken left a lot to be desired, the sushi gave me an upset stomach and I hated the caviar. In a nutshell, I am never coming back here ever again - period.
I frequently visit Delhi and stay at the Hyatt Regency but never had an opportunity to dine at TKs earlier. It was highly recommend by a friend and this time I decided to try out. I would stay it was worth it. The garlic chips which do not list in the menu can be specifically requested and the chef will be happy to make them for you...a must try ( if you like garlic). The food was great.. we ordered the pomfret and the seared cottage cheese. The chef special rice were also awesome.... thank you so much to the chef for making our dinner so pleasant and memorable.
Looks good, but the food is not so good and very expensive, the three dishes you see cost 4600 rupees after service
This is my favourite restaurant and i go here at least 7 ...8 times in a year. Its oriental grill and the food is amazing! Live grill, the chef cooks in front of you and you can tell him your preferences, what else you can ask for. Its the place i want to go when i want to have a tasty treat !
Very nice food. Freshly made in front of you and nice service.
Excellent food preparation by professional cooks, managed by very humble ,Polite, efficient, professional staff.
Absolutely loved the experience here. I tried the buffet Teppanyaki which was super delicious. Right from the soup to dessert my experience was nice. I like how the chef provided recommendations basis the taste youre looking for. And the green coconut seafood gravy just blew my mind. The flavors were great and food well cooked. Ambience was wonderful and the staff service was good. Definitely a must visit place.
One of the best Teppanyaki Restaurant in India, they keep ingredients and sauces very fresh . I personally have worked in this kitchen almost 18 years back. Have some fond memories of that time. Great skills by Chefs. In spite of so much of competition they are still on top of their game.Cheers to the whole team. Do try their food if you love Oriental flavours.
Amazing food. The best of course is the snapper cooked in banana leaf with lime.Yummy.
The best teppanyaki ever. Amazing sushi. Loved the green Thai curry and sticky Jasmine rice. Do not forget to ask your chef to add some extra coconut milk to your Thai curry. Thanks to Chef Vishal and our server Lokesh for the amazing food and hospitality.
Its always been a delight to have a meal specially the brunch. Have to eat atleast once in 2 months to do justice to food n myself :)
Super place to dine n awesome food. Grt chefs n cooking skill
Toooooooo gooood, dont have words to express many joy and happiness while dining here.Service 1000/100Food quality and taste 1000/100Ambience 1000/100Cleanliness 1000/100Little tough on pocket, but guess what you are going to shell out anyway for such an amazing experience.Would come back anytime.
Really impressed with the balance of knowledge and the showmanship. Back up with some of the most delicious dishes, our group of family and friends had a fantastic time. Absolutely must :)
Very very good food available with limited option. Good place to experience tapanyaki food. 😀 Chefs are really good.
Our staple go to place for all special occasions! They just dont go wrong with the food! Must try the sautéed garlic 👌🏻
Service is poor and the management is weak. Even after reservation we had to wait for 45 mins despite hardly any crowd. Staff could be better trained. The place used to be my favourite at one time but seems to have lost its charm. For the price they charge they need to keep up with the changing times
Service can be better - waited 30 minutes for my lime soda despite two reminders, and after 4 - 5 waiters ignored my attempts to get their attention, one kind fellow finally brought me my drink. I was asked if I wanted ice in my drink - I said no but got ice anyway. Still waiting for the chef after 35 mins - not a place to visit if you are in a hurry. 40 minutes before the teppanyaki chef arrived and started cooking. We had ordered the pork belly, banana leaf snapper and pancake, but added lamb chops when waiter got order wrong and gave us the yakitori pork belly starter instead of the mains. One of the pork belly yakitori was mostly fat but the other two sticks were ok. Fish and lamb were OK but lamb was well done and not medium as ordered. Also too much reliance on sauces for flavor (dishes tend to be drenchedas opposed to quality of the meat, veg, and fish - and the skill (which appeared basicof the cook. Meal took quite long to prepare - the slowest teppanyaki Ive had.
A Japanese restaurant and truly one of the best ones both in terms of ambience as well as the service. Food is a delight and the presentation of the food is that enhances the quality. What’s even more lovely is watching the chef cook your food right in front of you, that is when you feel like cooking is nothing less than an art.
